Grateful to finally have a sample of this discontinued gem —
It’s a festival of purple florals!
For the first few minutes I get iris and cherry chapstick.
Drying down, it’s the boudoir / cosmetic scent everyone promised me it would be. Before coming to bed, the lady took a very long shower!
It’s very pretty, pleasant, and polished. Its mood puts me in mind of wearing the *best* red lipstick I can find, and making nude pink nails look clean-cut and sexy at the same time.
I’d like to smell like this sometimes–I very much like this “type” of scent–but I don’t need it in my collection

Trust me to discover a new love just as it is discontinued!
This is such a beautiful ‘any time, any where’ fragrance, although I like it more as a daytime perfume and personally think it suits the cooler weather better.
Chloe Love is powdery, with violet and a soapy iris, but there is also a thick and delicious heliotrope note which I would say is prominent.
Projection and longevity both medium. Clings to hair and fabric for longer.
If you love the Parma violet of Guerlain Insolence or the creamy heliotrope of YSL Manifesto L’Elixir, but want something slightly less sweet and more muted, try this beauty before it gets hard to find!

I’m scratching my head on this one. I get a distinct pickle smell. What in the world?…
It’s a makeup/powder scent on the drydown, But that pickle note stays with me.
    Update:
Tried this one again. Still get a strange pickle note at first, but the drydown is exquisite <3 It reminds me of my aunt’s makeup table when I was young. I’m in love and I’m hunting down a full bottle ASAP

I am superjelous to the people who say that this one has a long staying power on their skin. I LOVE the powdery-ricy-rosepeppery smell of this parfume, but unfortunately it doesn’t stay on my skin too long, so I swiched to the cheaper dupe, the Phyllis, instead of this one.

I am a floral powdery fragrance lover so this is definitely my No.1 favorite from Chloe and my Top5 favorite of my all time.
A lot of people say it’s too much talc-like but for me I think that’s what makes this fragrance unique. It smells so clean but classy. Perfect for any occasions.
The longevity and sillage are great. It makes me feel fresh and enjoy myself all day.
I don’t know why Chloe decided to discontinued this gorgeous one. So I have to think wisely before I use mine. I hope they bring it back. :'(

I’m an adventurous wearer of cologne as I’ll wear anything as long as I think it smells good. I can get away with pretty much anything even fragrances that are extremely “feminine” (whatever that means). Chloe Love in theory is what most would call a feminine scent: its soft, flowery, powdery and pretty. Low and behold I wear the hell out of this. Maybe it’s my chemistry, but there is something so classy and elegant about this one. As a guy I feel it pairs perfectly with a freshly pressed suit and a crisp white shirt. Not really a going out on the town kinda scent, but for brunch, a wedding or going to work its perfect and get me more compliments than almost anything else I wear. On me it’s strictly a fresh powdery scent that smells natural and a little soapy, like I just stepped out of the shower. Longevity is excellent, two sprays lasts all day on me. Maybe it’s so unlike anything else marketed to men it makes this stand out even more. Sucks its discontinued, I bought two bottles as back up for a high price but I know I invested wisely as the value will go up as the supply shrinks. Chloe Love for Men; who woulda thought?

A powder bomb, go easy with application. Lovely smell, works best in fall.
Can be too much for some, but the right application will leave you loving it.

I guess it’s about time my luck ran out. Chloe Love was a blind buy. The description ticked off a lot of my boxes: floral, super powdery, clean smell – check, check, check, plus I love Chloe EDP. I spritzed Love on the first time tonight thinking it would be my bedtime scent. Boy, it just smelled like burnt rubber or plastic on my skin for the first few minutes, and now all I get is a soapy dry down. I’m on the fence with this one. I’m thinking of giving Love a few more tries before completely giving up on it. But then again, I have so many other perfumes I like without trying…

Omg… Love Chloe really good smell in my nose, as it named, i love this perfume for any occasion.
    Iris powdery blended so well..
Similiar with Luciano soprani sopranissima but in soft version..

After a thin but bright start Chloe love EDP
Gives up some lovely soft florals, on my skin there is a
Vintage rosewater or rose soap kinda feel but done in a refreshing way.its very feminine and pretty smelling,
The rice note rounds out the flowers with a creamy dreamy feel.
This is not an 80s style heady heavy floral ,
But just the opposite really a soft inoffensive lovely
    Little Fragrance.
Office or wedding friendly yet somehow there’s a touch of something exquisite in this composition that stops it from being too lightweight and nondescript.
If you like floral fragrances that are soft and pretty
And like a vintage feel but done in a way that is not heavy and just borderline vintage then this is it.
The tv advert is bang on for this , it’s almost soft focus and seems vintage feeling as though it’s set in yesteryear. Yet the actress is glamorous and fun , yet classy and elegant.
This perfume is all those things,a twist of vintage in with the modern , a soft focus Fragrance, a tad powdery a tad fresh , the rice note gives it something interesting , Saved by the rice note and hints of green and musk !
I thought this would be more powdery , going by reviews, where’s the powdery notes your all getting ?? Sadly I don’t get them so much , it wears more floral on me.
Am I going to buy more ?
Maybe not , as nice as this is it’s a little too soft for me , I’m a lover of Chanel no 5 , 19, and Hypnotic poison , but it’s easy to wear and a definate big like !!

@jezebell yeah that’s what I was thinking “if you are a fan of perfumes like Narciso Poudre, Guerlain Insolence, Valentina Poudre, this is for you to try.” But, I personally would disinclude narciso poudree as that is powdery but perfumey in a whole other way on me – I like poudree, but wouldn’t wear Chloe love.
I would add that it has the same sort of dryness as Prada iris and Prada de orangier I think it is. Valentina I can’t comment, and yes the guerlain I agree, except guerlain might be slightly more floral on me but still super dry.
Chloe love is incredibly well blended though, I mean I could wear it at a push.
Oh… and the latest Dior joy seems dry on me too, even though the opening is seemingly wet white floral, it jeckal and Hyde’s in me.
    🙂

A great deal on a blind buy! I love powdery/soapy/musky vintage-smelling scents, so this was a no brainer.
I get something kinda spicy in this! Weird. But what I mostly get is… powdery purple floral musk. If this were a Guerlain it would be called Insolence Sheer Musk flanker. But I love it. Very potent iris at first. Very purple like Insolence.
I wonder if the spicy part is the pepper? But it’s not peppery.
Sillage/longevity wasn’t the best, but maybe it was the late summer humid weather. I mostly tried on skin since I was wearing a strappy tank top. My skin isn’t the best at holding perfume.
    I love the bottle!

Gorgeous, powdery floral musk that’s not like any other fragrance I know. I’ve never really enjoyed any of Chloé’s newer scents until I tried this one.
I adore it so much that I bought a backup bottle EVEN THOUGH I am allergic to it. LOL. It gives me a serious rash on my skin. I’ll have to remember to spray it on my clothes and hair, instead.
The bottle is beautiful, even in the short 30ml size. I also have serious love for most bottles designed like flasks.

This does smell like love feels to me. I get the same butterflies in my stomach feeling, or is it because I know it will get harder and harder to get.
But it is the kind of impossible love, where the partner has to leave country and your love was never meant to be. The kind of suffering that chokes you and you are left helpless, it leaves behind the hollow feeling of falling into a pit.
This makes me feel spoiled, hugs me while being distant, it also smells to me like an expensive clothes shop, I don’t know why.
Slightly vintage feel, yet very modern.
    Longevity and sillage are remarkable.

It’s so powdery and feminine. It is amazing.

Wow, so divided opinions on what I perceive to be such an inoffensive and easy to like perfume! I blind bought it and I had emotions as a few people cautioned me about it but I love it because it’s so easy to love! It’s floral, lightly powdery, elegant and casual. But not boring in the slightest, it’s very distinct and unmistakable. It’s a bit on the soapy, clean side as far as powdery perfumes come.
If you are a fan of perfumes like Narciso Poudre, Guerlain Insolence, Valentina Poudre, this is for you to try.

  21. :

Love Chloe was my first successful blind buy. It took a while of me wearing this to get over the associations I kept trying to make with it. I’ve come to the realization that I love this fragrance anyway. I won’t mention what I think it smells like to plague you too.
It is a musky powdery purple flower lilac bomb. I can smell the rice all the way thru. It’s not a fragrant jasmine rice smell, more along the lines of a sticky creamy rice smell. Longevity is fantastic, 8 to 10hrs easy. Silage is moderate in first few hrs then at arms length and stays that way for at least 5-6 hrs.
Pity to learn this beautiful fragrance has been discontinued. Have to get a back up soon. I’ve been wearing this in the heat of summer and it doesn’t suffocate me like other powdery scents I adore can. Curious to see how it goes with the cooler months ahead.

    Musky – powdery – floral
    Color impression: beige
Simple in title, enormous in impression. Love is a sublime powdery floral musky fragrance that deserves to be a solid hit at least for several decades ahead. Chloé Love is a pure powdery opener with brittle floral nuances and soapy tidy hints. It’s clean and cleansing, fresh, weightless, calm and promising of a rather cleaner musky undertone that donates comfy warmth and wealth to the composition. Gosh, It’s sexy like Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface.

Love, Chloe – the epitome of class & femininity. It’s comforting yet sensual & embraces you in it’s powdery sophistication. Modern vintage perfume, I pray by some miracle they bring it back.

This is the only Chloe I used to avoid so much for so long.I used to dislike powder cause I thought it only fits to old ladies and babies.I tried Love at it was love at first sight. This is not baby powder,it’s more expensive luxurious cosmetics powder.I changed my mind for this perfume category. I even wore it on a hot sunny day.And I it was not heady at all. Also it’s long lasting which is great for me. So feminine and romantic but not boring at all!perfection

Now this isn’t gourmand in the least but the rice and powder notes coupled with the natural sweetness of the flowers gives me a thick, custardy panna cotta feeling, if you were to remove the vanilla and replace the aroma with purple flowers. (If you don’t know what panna cotta is, just imagine how Jello is made, but use a mix of flavorless gelatin and sugar instead of the pre-packaged Jello powder and cream instead of water. Most people add vanilla but skip that and use some kind of purple flower syrup instead. I think the aroma would be very close to this. Not gourmand but certainly edible. To me there is a burnt sugar scent here as well, reminiscent of Pink Sugar, but very light. Say the burnt sugar in PS was a 10, the burnt sugar here would be a 1. I think it’s one of the purple flowers causing this effect to my nose, I think the lilac, because it’s a very “not-soapy at all” lilac.
Very lovely, old-school (but modern) girly, and very different. I had Eclat d’Arpege on earlier and this is definitely the big sister! I can’t wait to get my hands on Love, Eau Intense – too bad it’s discontinued. Does anyone know if this one is discontinued too? I never see it in stores anymore, especially now that Nomade is out. I only see the Chloe flankers and the Love Story flankers…
Anyway, if you are looking for a “purple flowers” perfume to round out your collection this should definitely go on your “to-try list.” And if it hasn’t been discontinued yet, it probably will be soon, so hurry while you can still grab one!

Chloe Love I love so much, smelling it right now from the bottle, because it’s already empty from a long time, but still the scent is strong and concentrated, as I love to be. This is something extraordinary. Makes me feel so nice, elegant and somehow nostalgic. Like I used to live in a past and now returned back there with this smell to remember all. A beautiful, young and innocent lady is coming in my mind. I can see her white, tender and soft skin, with a long dress in a peachy color, maybe one flower in the open hair. Amazingly pretty and tender, but noticeable scent is coming from her every move and step she is making. Seems, she is dancing, but she doesn’t. She is walking through a incredible garden and I’m not sure where from the smell is coming. From her, or from the all flowers i can see, but she is the nicest flower there….
Iris, lilac, wisteria, hyacinth, heliotrope…I can feel them all, so well blended in one perfect combination – smell and color. Orange blossom gives a freshness, pink pepper a spicy kick. But can say I love most the uniques of the rice. Love how it makes this fragrance creamy and delicious without be foody. Powder notes are the finish, which gives that vintage feeling.
For me the lasting power is great. Chloe Love has a long life and has a good sillage. Last year when i still have it went to meet with my sister and we spent a time outside sitting under the trees and drinking tea. She was sitting not near me, but complimented my fragrance how nice it is.
This perfume brings tears in my eyes every time I’m smelling it.

The first time around that I reviewed Love Chloe, I don’t think I gave it a fair chance. This time, after spending a few months with it, I can fairly give my honest opinion on this fragrance.
It’s to no one’s surprise that Chloe fragrances are a bit pricey, this one included. I payed quite a bit for a 30 ml bottle, but I wouldn’t say that I regret it because I love this perfume. It starts out a little harsh with the pink pepper, but very quickly that fades and the true beauty comes through.
I absolutely love powdery scents, I live for them. This seems to have the perfect balance of powder, purple florals, and just the tiniest bit of sweetness. This is just so feminine and tender, just the epitome of being a woman who is falling in love. This scent seems to just float along with me through the day, leaving a trail as I go. It is very clean and soapy, in an expensive violet soap kind of way. I’m very sad that this has been discontinued, all the great ones usually are.

    Light bright powdery floral.
If this is purple floral, cool.
I wear it when I need calm courage.
Who could complain about such a non-sweet but pretty scent…in moderation?
    Longevity is off the charts.
It beat Kenzo Jungle L’elephant on skin by a day.
I don’t notice much development so sometimes the longevity isn’t a bonus.
One spray is enough, by God!
    Edit
    Wore to work today.
Great. Fresh and familiar all day.
Wanted a change after work so topped it with Elixir des Merveilles.
    GUESS which lasted longer?
    Yep.
This one. It would not be smothered, by God!

I’m really surprised this is not more frequently recommended for lovers of heliotrope. Yes, violet and other purple florals are present, as well as musks and other powdery things, but for me this is primarily a heliotrope fragrance and I adore it because of its purity.
Unlike other heliotropes I have tried and owned, Love, Chloe is not sugary sweet, there is no heavy vanilla or almond candy. This heliotrope is pristine, powdery soft and natural. It’s heliotrope as it was meant to be, wrapped in a violet petal cloak. Hypnotizing and trance inducing. Hallucinogenic powder puff clouds.
This is also quite reminiscent of Bvlgari Pour Femme, another discontinued beauty. I’d argue that it’s not necessary to own both, though they are not really dupes. If you love one, you will likely love the other.

Katie Puckrik reviewed this on YouTube and the way she described the smell of rice being cooked really piqued my curiosity. I’ve always liked the smell of rice and was intrigued to smell it in a fragrance.
However, this was not at all what I was expecting. Upon first spray, it smells like hairspray. Thin, alcoholic, and vaguely floral, maybe. But hang on, this is a story of how I grew to adore this perfume.
As I wore it throughout the day, the powdery notes took on a beautiful, light, clean characteristic, with a green-yet-warm quality that is really attractive. Maybe it is the rice that gives it that mysteriousness of having opposing qualities present at the same time. I’m just not sure, but it really is something special.
Upon further wearings, I even grew to love the top notes as it seems to fit within the theme of vintage makeup. This is going to be a great daytime spring scent for me, though I can easily see someone wearing it as a signature all year long.
The bottle is absolutely perfect as well and I’m glad to display it from time to time.

  32. :

Powdery, but in a scented candle kind of way. Not soft but rather intense, probably because of the hyacinth and pink pepper. The rice gives an interesting touch. I like it, but i probably won’t buy it.

Chloe, Love, you remind me what it is to be a woman….A LADY. One who uses vintage-smelling rose-scented soaps, who uses powdery floral perfumes. One who smells like a classy lady. Your bottle is also classy and classic looking. No frills, and who needs frills, when you are a true beauty.
Note-wise you are blended beautifully, none of your notes screeching, and you sit softly on the skin, yet you are still slightly softly detectable the next person over. You are class. In a world of fruity florals and so many synthetic smelling perfumes being created, you are a welcome change of pace. You might not be appreciated by the younger crowd (in general)..but to this older gal’s nose, you are a classic, a beauty.

I wasn’t alive in the 70’s but I imagine this is what an office full of well dressed, college educated secretaries in New York or Paris smelled like back then. Definitely good for day, but works for into evening.
Am I influenced by the print ads for this? Probably. But that powder scent is also abidingly retro to me, in anything that features it heavily. Sometimes I imagine the 20’s (like with Chanel Misia) or the 30’s or the 40’s, or in this case a little bit bolder with the 70’s.

Candied, expensive soap.. I blind bought this and was expecting a more powdery sort of scent with subtle sweetness, but this is very sweet.. and strong. With just one spray on my wrist it is overpowering my LVEB L’Eau Intense I’m wearing today.
This one doesn’t have much of a perfume vibe. It’s more of a “clean” vibe.. like what you’re smelling is someone’s detergent or dryer sheets or cleanser, not their perfume. It is a nice fragrance though. I’ll save this for days I’m craving a fresh, soapy scent.

  37. :

This smells very vintage make up like 🙂
It also smells like a luxurious rich smelling soap ❤️
(I can imagine Miss peregrine’s Eva Green, wearing this)
    Very intoxicating & heavenly!
(Chloe perfumes will not let you down)
Even though I’ve purchased 2 from this line, I’m on a new journey to discover more gorgeous perfumes by Chloe.
They smell unique & very different!
    Longevity: 6 – 7 hours

the drydown reminds me a bit of Cartier La panthere, I checked the notes and there it is – musk note they have in common. This might be the reason I personally like it, but it keeps standing in La panthere’s shadow anyway.
This is anything but lightweight perfume.

This is a fantastic purple powder bomb. It smells less soapy than the original Chloe to my nose. I actually don’t really think it’s that soapy at all. Mostly talc and purple flowers and clean musk. It’s almost too feminine for me, which is probably why I love it. And it lasts forever. I could still smell traces of it after I showered which is amazing because my skin eats almost all fragrances.

  42. :

This fragrance is so very powdery, innocent and musky that it smells more of a baby than a woman.

There’s something a little chocolaty about this perfume on my skin, and it reeks of blue velvet and newborn baby. Great sillage – the scent hangs on for a long, long time. Grateful for that.

Masterpiece! One of the best and most quality perfume. Sillage is really enormus and also very long lasting..at least for me. One or two sprays and you are good for all day, if you spray it on your hair even longer and it doesent turn bad. I like it even more on dry down. Beautiful, beautiful scent!

This is truly a powder lovers soulmate fragrance! It smells like a bowl of steamed Jasmine rice that has been sprinkled with heaps of vintage cosmetic powder and luxurious soap shavings. The bowl containing this imaginary concoction is artistically garnished with delicate purple florals at the peak of their fragrant bloom! Mmmmmm! Such a dish obviously does not exist and would be completely inedible from a culinary standpoint, but oh what a olfactory treat it would be! Love Chloe manages to take a completely non gourmand fragrance and turn it into something that feels like a elegant, exotic desert. To be clear, it isn’t even remotely “candy sweet.” It’s classy sweet. Just a hint of refined sweetness atop the smell of luxury cosmetics and delicate purple florals. Love Chloe has good longevity and what I would call “high end of moderate” silage. I like beasts and this is NOT a beast, however, it’s perfect. You wouldn’t want this fragrance any stronger than it is because it would take away from the “polite, proper, feminine effect.”
Utterly shameful that it’s been discontinued while some of this brands almost comically boring and generic fragrances are still lining the shelves at department stores. If they have absolutely any business sense at all they will re-release it for sale. I find it the perfect balance of classy, chic, and yet a slight edge of sex appeal bubbling just beneath that polished exterior. It’s a swooner you guys! I love my powdery purple florals and when I want something just a smidge sweeter and more youthful/modern than my beloved Esprit D’Oscar, I reach for this! The violet in here is just too gorgeous!

  46. :

Chloe Love is a bit more sharp/soapy then I expected following the first sprays. It does kinda smell like hairspray. I am hoping that it mellows out a bit as it settles on my skin.
It is a VERY big purple floral and while I like purple florals, the soft fluffy powder that I was expecting isn’t as prominent or quite what I had hoped. I think the strong florals really overpower the rice/powder notes. I much prefer Kenzo Amour where they are more detectable. perhaps this one just needs time to settle. The silage is pretty big ,will update later on longevity.

I’m a big fan of powdery – soapy perfumes. I smelled this one of a friend and I died! I ordered it online immediately, it took them one week to deliver, during that week I went to the mall everyday to spray this perfume on me and enjoy. Many asked what I’m wearing..
I went to this other perfume shop, the fragrance specialist said that my scent will cause traffic in the streets LOL, he asked me for the name himself and said its one of the most beautiful scents he ever came accross.
It smells very powdery and musky.. not a huge fan when it dries down, but the silage is soooo powerful & the longevity is great.

Not sure how many bottles of Chloe Love I had own. But they are many. This is my moment22 scent. I love it, wear it alot, get tired, give bottle away, miss it, buy another bottle, love it, get tired- and so on.. I bought myself a new bottle yesterday – in my loooovemood right now. Cosy, sexy, adult, feminine, a bit powdery, longlasting. Perfect and soft projection. I will try this time not to wear it everyday, so this bottle maybe stays until empty =)

Love by Chloe is one of those rare scents that I believe I could wear anywhere in any weather; it is clean enough for the mild summers we have here in the UK but has enough staying power and “coziness” to be considered as a winter perfume; it is office friendly but intimate enough to be worn on a date.
It goes without saying that this is a very powdery scent and, as others have stayed below, a very “purple” scent.
I think the name of the scent is very apt.To me, the perfume evokes not a grandmother, as some suggest, but a young college woman in a time before internet dating, preparing herself to meet a beau at the movies, putting on a little perfume that only he can smell on her neck.It is a perfume that suggests love and sensuality, but does not suggest attraction (not that there’s anything wrong with “sexy” perfumes.)
For literature lovers, this is a perfume I can very much see worn by the protagonist of “The Bell Jar” by Slyvia Plath.
The period aspects of the perfume mean that it would make a great addition to a vintage or rockabilly outfit.

Reminds me of fairies or a ballet dancer performing a perfect pirouette.
Elegance Max but not in a “domestic” sense of the word. Here’s a woman who’ll manage to work all day and still look fresh as a flower at the end of the day.
I must mention that I am yet to come across a perfume which has a bottle that matches its personality with such perfection. This perfume is sublime; powerful yet subtle. Divine.
It’s unique and performs fabulously well. May not be to everyone’s taste so do test a few times before buying.

Was excited about this perfume because I saw the notes of talc. Boy was I disappointed. Smells synthetic, like plastic. If Barbie had BO it would smell like this.

Such a beautiful ageless yet for any age fragrance! Has a strong longevity & silage. I tested it 4 days ago together with other perfumes, left the sniff card on my velvet couch and 4 days later, i can still feel it. What i really love about LOVE is that, although is powdery – i mean really powdery- and you’d expect a very choking and scratchy or a very sweet dry-down, the drydown is green and fresh. It keeps ’till the end a fluffy and sheer cloud. I also like that you don’t necessarily feel purple flowers in it, it’s well blended, without any flower standing out. It’s a happy, easy to wear, stylish and recognizable fragrance, it could be easily a signature.

Very well blended, I don’t like this really, but had a wear of it to appreciate it, and I do.
    The main accords look right.
    Beautiful, non sweet powdery floral

For the longest time I had been looking for a perfume that was somehow “vintage”. That kind of clean powdery seductive scent. I almost gave up, as every perfume seems to smell like white flowers nowadays, but then I found this little gem. AMAZING! It’s so warm and powdery, it’s like expensive makeup I can’t afford. It’s lounging around in the sun in Italy wearing a silky slip dress, eating peaches.

Love love looove this scent! I smelled it years ago when it first came out but couldnt afford a bottle. Then i heard about it being discontinued and thought it may never happen for me. Then not too long ago i found it online and snapped it up asap. I cant get enough of it, day night sumner winter it doesnt matter it can be worn all the time. The crisp rice and powdery floral combination is just intoxicating. Its not to heady or overwhelming. Lovely
Edit: this one has become my special diamond fragrance; as in, she takes a back seat most of the time and like a pair of diamond earrings, i pull her out on the most special of occasions. After wearing it in all kinds of everyday activities purely because i couldn’t get enough of it I’ve found it to be better suited to evenings, paired with classic jewellery and heels. This fragrance is one of a kind and is sophisticated and unbelievably feminine. Its also got intense projection and a couple of sprays lasts a long long time.
This is definately more for the woman in a satin shift dress, not so much the girly girl in a pink cocktal dress. Im not sure how they could make it anymore ‘ intense’ but im curious about the intense edp version, but for the while the original is definately one of my favoroute fragrances, and hopefully the time i need to replace this one it wont be completely obsolete.

In the opening it’s easy to detect the purple flowers, but to me the most dominant one is the lilac. It starts off kinda sharp on my skin, overwhelming somehow, but in 30 minutes I enjoy it a lot. I don’t know if I want to buy the full size of it, mixed feelings are all over me.. 😀

Like I wote previously, I ordered this as a blind buy, and therefore I purchased the small size (30 ml9, but oh how I wish, I had bought the 100 ml bottle, because this one is GORGEOUS. It is so gentle yet really interesting and unique. I never smelled it before on anyone, so now I feel like an unicum wearing this.
It does smell powdery 8and I also detect the rice, that someone mentioned) and a little oldfashioned as well, but not in the grandma way-in the good good way in the sense of being very classy. It fits all ages from 17 and up, I think. It is not overly flowery and definately not sharp, it is round, feminine, gentle and will never offend anyone or give you a headache. My husband adored it, and he is a very critical man, when it comes to perfumes.
I will have to buy an extra, before it is no longer available anywhere 8as it is sadly discontinued- alot of my favourites seem to be discontinued …
