Description

The first, eponymous, fragrance from Lolita Lempicka was created by Annick Menardo in 1997 with the focus on the licorice note. The perfume is discontinued in 2010 and re – launched and re-branded as Lolita Lempicka Le Premier Parfum.

It opens with notes of ivy leaf, pineapple, lemon, rosewood, sour cherry and anise. The heart features lily of the valley, rose, jasmine, licorice, violet and iris based on sweet almond, vanilla, heliotrope, tonka bean, musk, praline and vetiver.

The signature bottle in the shape of an apple is designed by Sylvie de France. The fragrance is available as Eau de Parfum (50 and 100 ml).

A fleeting version of the past. A reformulation that IMO has lost its character and some charm. With that being said, today’s version is nice, but cannot hold a candle to the original formula.
    Lolita Lempicka Le Premier…
This version has lost the spice, the star anise, and the Iris is barely detectable. I find that the performance is weak, and longevity could be better. The fragrance sets closer to the skin. Please do not think I’m completely bashing this fragrance. I do like it, but wish that it wasn’t stripped down as much as it is/was.
On me it’s a sour cherry, mixed with green, a mild almond, a smidge of licorice, and a not so detectable anise. The base is vanilla, with a soapy undertone, with a dab of powder. Within all this you get a prominent violet. I do not detect much of anything else. Am I the only one that thinks it’s much like fabric softener? Lol. This also has a Robe kinda vibe, but just not as well done.
As it is wearable, I do miss the version that it once was. Still nice, yet easy to wear, I’m sure it will continue to be a fan favorite.

can someone please tell me how to differentiate between the original lolita lemlicka eau de parfum and this new lolita lempicka le premier eau de parfum? i have a bottle – the sticker on the bottom does not say le premier. the code that i plugged into check cosmetics says it was manufactured in 2016 but i also learned codes are repeated every 10 years. i would appreciate any help.
was there also an original toilette and a le premier toilette?

Used to be my signature scent in High School but I out grew it (and my ex). Smells very sweet and now the price is reasonable. I had a bottle left and I used it up so I could retire the scent. If your into cotton candy type perfume this is one for you -scent is sweet but not annoying but then again everyones palate isn’t the same. I will not buy this again because it takes me back to that relationship -__-

I do like this fragrance and have received some compliments while wearing it, but I find myself disappointed everytime i spray this on because I bought it hoping to get the original LL but found out they had changed it :'( what I miss the most is the star anise i guess. I remember loving LL because it was a spicy sweet scent but it has lost a lot of its spiciness.

This was a totally “BLIND BUY” for me,& today is the first day that I wore it!! & guess what??…….I ABSOLUTELY adore it already!! & to crown it off I’ve already had six compliments,& each person including my Mum saying WOW you smell gorgeous!! & what is that your wearing!!
This is deffo a much different perfume direction for me,& I certainly DON’T have anything like this in my ever growing perfume wardrobe!! Yes It’s sweet but certainly not in that awful cloying way!! You deffo can smell the Licorice in it,& on the whole I love Licorice!! On My skin It’s a very soft powdery kind of fragrance which I absolutely love,Then it turns into a soft warm woody/spice!! The bottle is an absolute “MASTERPIECE” & when empty will be set out on show Amoung my cut Crystal ornaments!! I put this perfume on this morning at around 10am & it”s now 4pm & it’s still going strong which im delighted about!! Just wish I had tried this real beauty sooner as it’s deffo a real winner for me!! Xx

This perfume is my all time favourite. It’s cheap and they always sell it at the drugstore. It was my signature fragrance. Unfortunatelly I keep sneezing when I’m wearing it. I must be allergic to it..

I don’t like this that much at all. It’s just “there”. I’ve never gotten compliments while wearing this and my bottle is almost done. It reminds me of something in my childhood. Maybe a spray that came with our barbie toys.

I don’t like the taste of licorice… BUT this is awesome!
Initially a liquorice BOMB but one that is kept fresh and powdery by the florals – violet over iris. This is also very green, I prefer it to the similar ‘au masculin’ version.
Ideal for spring when the sun is starting to cut thru the clouds and everything is new and full of energy. I find the final drydown to be rather delicate!
Long lasting and projects moderately, can be found cheap online!
The imagery from advertising is spot-on!

There is something in this formulation that reminds me of how patchouli behaves on my skin. I would say that this is not a safe blind buy if you dislike patchouli, try it first.

I don’t get the love for this. It smells aweful on me. It turns bitter on my skin. Too much licorice overload. Maybe my bottle was bad.

Maybe I have smelled or tested this in the past but I have absolutely no memory of that. Unbelievable! I am pretty sure that I have tried the relaunched edition today. The notes seem to be fairly identical, except for the anise/star anise as well as orris root?
First spray is very green and fresh, the forrest theme definitely plays out nice in the top notes! I immediately detect the ivy and violet (the most prominent note throughout on me). After that everything sort of melds together. Sometimes LL turns somewhat moldy on me and I think that might be the anise and licorice playing tricks on my skin. But after 1 hour that’s completely gone and I’m left with a slightly powdery, green but warm scent. The licorice and vetiver really add some depth. Funny enough: I don’t get the cherry coke vibe or even that much of vanilla, tonka or praline! A very sophisticated scent that’s def not only for “Lolitas”
As for the Angel comparison: I think that Angel paved the way for a lot of gourmands out there. However, the patchouli note in it is unique as is its dry down. However, Angel lovers (like me) will most likely appreciate LL. 🙂

Oh I did love this one. Sweet and powdery. The licorice is light and lovely. Cute little Apple bottle. But anikomarton nailed it: it is a victim of its own popularity.
Now sold at CVS and Walgreens.

Once you smelled this unique parfum, you will instantly recognize it later. A delicious but not a heavy fragrance. Victim of its own success, it is worn by many people, however it is one of my favorite scent.

I’m a loyal fan of Lolita and her flankers. The magic this bottle carries so far has been proved by many ladies here. However, it seems Lolita has the herbal elements which overwhelms the other perfumes and makes them smell bad.
For example, if you’re using Lolita and make contact with another vanillie type (ex: Cinema by YSL or Brit Burberry) you might find it smells like plastic. Also, with another faint soft smell like rose and flowery, Lolita will deceives you in thinking they are more sour than usual tho they might not carry citrus notes (ex: Mademoiselle Ricci by NR or Love by Chloe).

This is a long time favourite. It is the sweetest thing I have but it is not nearly as sweet as lots of gourmands around, and the sweetness is tempered by a green freshness and the licorice. It is not dense and sweet but luminous and surprisingly airy. In this respect, the anisic licorice along with the purple florals make this seem like a modern spin on the Après l’Ondée and Heure Bleue classics.
I wear this all year round but it is particularly lovely in the winter with the sweetness, spices and green notes which all combine for a sugar plum fairy effect. This is a very clever fragrance. It is not too busy but manages to throw up fresh, floral, sweet, juicy and spicy facets. I have worn this on and off for years and never get bored. The midnight flankers are also very good and they – and this – are always available reasonably priced without being constantly re formulated. You have to be grateful for clever, reliable quality. There will be a place for this in my wardrobe.

I am usually more of a “floral girl”, but this smells good! I don’t feel like a walking ad for a candy store although there is definitlety some sweetness there. It is blended with florals and I tried it – and am glad I did.
I guess the florals tone down the sweetness, or they combine together to make a wonderful fragrance cloud, but however the magic happens, it works!

@lonn3k3: more fitting for a woman over 40? lol Nice. So good to know your nose is ageist in addition to being bland.
Turnabout being fair play and all, I find your reviews to be pedestrian and much more fitting for Amazon.

I find the naming of these products crazy. I know they invested money in the ‘Lolita Lempicka’ brand and want their money’s worth but this is ridiculous. Everything looks the same so I never buy because I have no idea what I am buying. I searched for the original to try it before the clones and I think I bought the right one but who knows?
The reviews mentioned licorice and violets which I love so I hoped I would love this fragrance but I found the licorice too faint, the violets too blurry amongst some generic floweriness, and everything far too jammy and sweet. I had to wash it off.
But I refuse to be defeated by any frag and I tried some blending. I had several misses but one combo I do enjoy is Lolita layered with Villoresi Piper Nigrum. It produces a convincing nutmeg and a creamy, buttery sweetness that adds up to the English ‘egg custard tart’ which was a childhood treat and something I now have a craving to eat again. I might not like to smell like a pie however tasty but later the nutmeg fades and I get something very nice which reminds me of a Kilian fragrance but I cannot recall the name. Something from 2007/2008. Well, I recommend you try the mix if you dislike Lolita on her own.

This precious takes me back in time, when I was a little girl, playing outside with my friends, picking violets to smell them and then running quickly home to put them in a tiny glass of water so they don’t whither. I remember them so frail, so sensitive, with such a wonderful and peerless smell. Such a joyful memory brings me the smell of Lolita Lempicka…beautiful moments…

I just got my bottle of this, reformulation of the original Lolita Lempicka. They don’t show you in this pic above that there is a heart-shaped bite out of the apple, very cute way to show the difference in juice, (well it’s the 1st full bottle size I’ve acquired of this brand, maybe they all have that?)
My 1st thought was They took a bite out of it all right! The missing ivy is no fun, if you like the original’s touch of green in there. For me, this formulation changed it from a night scent to a day scent.
When I first spritzed it the flavor seemed too soft and sweet, but it settled down into an lovely airy cloud of licorice, more black than cherry. It could be a smidge of cherry softening the flavor of plain black licorice.. (beautiful black licorice scent= Etro Anice) I think it could be a nice work-friendly licorice for me. It’s all very mild & not too foody in flavor, and has that nice aromatic character of the original. The drydown is very nice, a gentle white fuzziness with licorice in the background. Sweet but not in a loud or heavy way.

  23. :

The initial blast is glorious violets, which I love, but the drydown is quickly a too-vanilla-ish for me, it is a high quality well made perfume, but too basic and sweet vanilla for me to use regularly.

A sweet, yummy, tender and full bodied fairy perfume…
I used to wear the masculine version called “Au Masculin”, and it was my signature scent back on the days… I knew this one on 1997, when the original old formula was just launched, my auntie got it and I remember it was so strange but so attractive at the same time… so when Au Masculin came out I was very curious about it and it became on my favourite fragrances ever…
But let’s talk about this new re-launched Le Premier Parfum…
It’s almost the same scent than the original from 1997, the only one difference is the cherry note, which in this one is kind of prominent on the first impression… the original is darker on the beggining…
I’m very happy with this last addition to my collection, it’s weirdy medicinal and sweet anise, floral, with powdery undertones of iris and sticky violet… strong licorice and vanilla noticeable from top to bottom… and the drydown is to die for, and very similar on this phase to Au Masculin (or maybe is my skin chemistry) kind of a powdery vanilla with licorice and yummy praliné added to the final spirit when it lingers on skin…
Lasting power, AMAZING 10 hours +
    Compliment getter
Very noticeable, perfect for winter and as a night/evening fragrance…
Gorgeous perfume, and one of the best creations ever, since its controvertial and strange smell, giving place to a tender, inviting and seductive fragrance.
    Love it.

Oops! I wrote my LL review for the wrong version…thinking it was ‘original recipe’. Reposting here:
I’m finding that my first reaction to a scent never tells me what the relationship will be like. First, there’s a wary coffee-date where I think the thing comes on too strong for me, then there’s a stressful but fortifying lunch date where *I’m* trying too hard … and it’s the dinner date that settles us into mutual appreciation (and, invariably, apologies from me!). Initially, I was frustrated with this one – with the fragrance, and with myself: “Oh, if only. If only I could smell the notes I long to smell here … ” @Michelina’s comment below was helpful to me (ie: this one may require a bit of patience). @collectyourdead’s comment struck a note of dread…I was afraid I might end up agreeing with her (that this was a ‘singular, synthetic, overly sweet perfumery disaster’)
The initial blast caused me to pull away: it felt synthetic, a little harsh … Like a sweet, arty antibacterial handsoap that resolves into baby powder. Then, hints of violets and candy – the kind you’re not supposed to accept from strangers. Still felt ‘raspy’ – powdery, but not in a good way. I found Katie Puckrik’s take helpful … it explained some of the weirdness (“it’s got a chalky, almost dusty quality…”).
I felt more hopeful once the vanilla and tonka bean rose to greet me, and it began to feel like home – this was after around 90 minutes in hot, humid weather. Did did *love* the drydown – clean, sweet, and musky.
So It took a few days to befriend this fragrance; *now* I feel its immense charm – and am coming to rely on its interplay of anise / licorice and violet to get me through the day. My nose no longer remembers what I found harsh, for this is now a lively friend. And the drydown is exquisite.

I just bought this yesterday, and I have to say that I love it. There was something very familiar about it the first time I tried it. And when I read the notes I realized that it reminded me a little bit of the Angel, it must be the tonka bean and the vanilla. This is how the Angel should smell, and only very few people can pull it off. On me it smells so soft and warm, A little sweet but not too much. It’s very balanced. It also has a sexy side to it. So far I am very happy with it!

    This perfume is just beautiful.
Adjectives: Powdery, floral, playful, sensual, mysterious.
Good for when you’re wearing: sweaters, date night dress on a fall/winter evening.
I love this perfume because it’s so unique but simple. It’s not overwhelming and it’s not too soft. I love that this perfume is there, on your skin, but it’s not at all offensive. It’s light but not in a fresh and airy way, more in a soft and cozy way.
I’ve loved this scent for a decade!

Love the bottle, but not the scent.
They just don’t work with my chemistry..
Soapy baby powder and nothing else.
But I will adore the cute apple bottle as it sits on my shelf…
If they upped the cherry, praline, and licorice I would probably enjoy it.

Hmmm . . . had the original and LOVED it . . . on everybody else . . . on my skin the oakmoss, ivy and vetiver took center stage and I didn’t get any of the sweet licorice, praline and gentle florals that everyone loves. This new one is missing the oakmoss and star anise and I can now wear it and experience all the notes that didn’t come through for me before. But on those that could wear the original so perfectly, there is also a depth that is missing, that “thing” that made it so special before is no more. It is still beautiful but it’s also sadly “shallow”.

  32. :

    4 out of 5

Good one! Unusual (meaning interestingly composed; it isn’t new so it’s well known already) and joyous; that’s how I imagine fun would smell like. Has a lot of sweetness but also kind of a minty feel to it… and oh, the violets and vanilla! It reminds me a lot of Extreme by Paul Smith.
I’m testing right now and I’m having J’adore on my other wrist – strangely enough, the combination of them both pleases me even more than each one on its own.
It’s even possible to consider getting a bottle of it.
P.S. I got a bottle of the original version thinking that there won’t be too much of a difference. However, the original one is so smokier and spicier, definitely not the same scent. They are both worth having but I still like the reformulation a bit better. It’s fresher and easier to pull off as a daytime fragrance.

Ok, after wearing this everyday after a week, I would like to add a note to this one.
It smells really green on me. My boyfriend recognizes the Ivy note right away when I sprayed it. I’ve been wearing this for like two hours now today, the smell is really really green, not powdery, not sweet, but really green.
It pretty much stays like this for a long while.
So you know that this is also possible 🙂

Recently bought a 50ml bottle and I love this! It’s a very nice, unique and warm scent. I like the cherry and the licorice. But there’s also something fresh; I think it’s the anise note.
And did I say the bottle is really cute? I also bought a miniature just because it’s such a cute bottle

  36. :

I just got this today and I’ve been sniffing my wrist all day. Lolita is so different compared to anything I’ve smelled in a perfume store before. By that I mean everything else has a specific style being very sweet or very fruity or floral. Lolita is warm, spicy, a gentle floral… I don’t get TOO much sweetnes from this and one spray has just enough volume.
The first spray reminded me of Escada’s Magnetism for some reason. Unfortunate for me! Magnetism will always remind me of an overcrowded girls bathroom with broken stall doors at an artsy club and Magnetism hit me like a wall filling the small space and the lack of air with it’s tacky sweetness. These two share a similar opening. Maybe it’s the iris, musk and vetiver hinting at the very beginning – elements Lolita and Magnetism share. But after some time the vanilla and other spices start to push through and the scent turns a little more delicious and abandons it’s small similarities with Magnetism.
Despite the cutesy bottle that looks like it fell from a magical tree this isn’t a childish scent. It’s very grown up, serious and it’s got unsual ingredients and elements and it’s truly unique. For sure it won’t please everyone. This definitely isn’t a mainstream scent trying to appeal you with safe choices. I love how unusual it is.

I blind bought this because i was dying to smell a gourmand/spicy frgarance and LL is so popular, i figured i couldnt go wrong. I am so glad i tried it more than a couple of times because this perfume is delicious.
I did not like it when i first sprayed it on, i detected the earthy green moss, tobacco and hair spray smell and overwhelming sweet vanilla. Upon the third try though, the harshness of the hair spray and tobacco like smell was gone. I dont know why but maybe shaking the bottle before spraying it on did it or my nose probably had adjusted to the smell. The licorice and green ivy are prominent during initial spray but it dries down to a lovely powdery slightly floral/spicy vanilla and licorice combo on my skin. I thought that it would be too warm and sweet for hot days but the heat actually brings out the floral note a bit more. Projection is soft and longevity is moderate but all in all, a happy blind buy.

This is really a nice juice. I really get the licorice, ivy, cherry and vetiver on me. It doesn’t have an enormous sillage, which is probably a good thing if I ever tried wearing this more feminine fragrance. This mirrors the “au masculin” version for men extremely well. I’d wear this myself even. I think this is a nice change for folks who like Angel. It’s still somewhat gourmand but not as cloying and somewhat on the tame side. Understated and simply lovely!

OK, I have finally made up my mind about LL and it’s now a LOVE for me. I have been a bit on and off (for various reasons – see my previous review if you’re curious). I wore LL out to town on Saturday for the first time and I’ve never been complemented more on how good I’m smelling.
Complement 1 from my boyfriend: I like this perfume on you, this smells very good.
Complement 2 from a random guy (that stopped me when I passed him in the bar): OH my god, you smell DELICIOUS! Wonderful fragrance.
Complement 3 from my bestfriend: “You smell really good today, which one is this?”.
HA! It’s a new record for me and I’m so happy for all the reactions. Also I think the Norwegian summer heat is really helping on how it’s developing on me.
Great success! I’ve decided to repurchase once I finish my bottle. <3

Wrote this review in Feb 2014 for the original LL – LL, but since I just found out that I have the le Premier Parfum-version of LL, I’ll copy it in here (since this is the frag I was reviewing):
I love Lolita Lempicka EDP, but it seems that the love’s not mutual. I guess I just don’t have the right chemistry for it, as all I get from it is licorice/anise and (this might sound weird) but also something that smells like dried paintbrushes with water paint on it (you know, like from the paintbrushes in Kindergarten). Maybe it’s the violet? The warmth and vanilla won’t really come out on my skin and I’m so sad! I bought this about two weeks ago and I couldn’t wait to wear it. I have smelt it on several others in the past and it’s been deliciously warm, but on me it’s not the same.
EDIT: I had LL on yesterday before going to bed and my boyfrend said it smelt nice. Maybe it’s just my imagination that it doesn’t smell good on me? Or maybe others don’t pick up the dirty/muddy note I talked about before. Maybe it’s just the violet confusing me? I don’t know, but the fact that my boyfriend complimented me when wearing LL I think I’ll have to give it another chance.
PS! I now know that I have the reformulated version from 2010, hence I will never have the same warm dry down I was missing, because in this new addition it’s completely gone 🙁 Still a nice enough fragrance though, but when you remember the old version it’ll never be just as good.

  41. :

    3 out of 5

Not impressed with LL. Smells cheap but costs plenty. Poor quality and uninspiring composition. Synthetic and one dimensional. Dries down to just licorice. There are a thousand better fumes than this.
Edit – I can start to smell the beauty of this in warmer weather. But still it is very very weak and synthetic. The dry down could be wonderful but you would need to spray so much to get a good effect that you would be mistaken for a licorice allsort long before then!

Stunning fairytale fragrance that is simply gorgeous!
    One of my favourites.
What more is there to say!!!

  43. :

    3 out of 5

This is basically a watered down version of the regular Lolita Lempicka. Hardly any projection and no longevity to match. I put on so much of this and could still barely smell it.

  44. :

    4 out of 5

Gorgeous forest fairy bomb! I get less of the fruit on my skin, and more of the earthy notes. So this pretty much feels like I was just rolling around on a damp forest floor, with magical fairy dust, of course ;p
The office where I work is considered fragrance free, but a few of us rebels spritz anyway as it is such a small department, and honestly, not many folks come around.. Anyway! While at work, a co-worker from another office came in and immediately commented on the amazing smell.. half embarrassed, and half flattered, I asked “what? this?” and came closer with my wrist out. He said it was amazing, and perfectly balanced — “not too sweet, not too strong, perfect”.
After I gave him the sample (because he loved it that much), I bought it! Yay!

  45. :

    3 out of 5

This is by far, the most beautiful bottle ever. I don’t even want to spray it because I’m afraid to break it or something.
As for the juice, it is enchanted. It’s like I’m the magical princess of everything and anything. Something like in The Corpse Bride, Alice in Wonderland, or even Edward Scissorhands. Something Tim Burton-esque, maybe, yes.
Fairies, queens, princesses, princes, darkness, woods, forest, dwarfs, trolls, magical creatures.
Naturally lethal and poisonous. Just gorgeous.

  46. :

    4 out of 5

Let me start with the original ad – I think it’s the most beautiful, most hypnotising ad for perfume ever. It’s a piece of art. I remember watching it over and over again, and then the making-of video and being fascinated by how much work was put into it. It looked like perfume for an elf. 🙂 I know the original version for many, many years, I think it’s classic by now. But it will not not suit everyone. Having said thad, the newer version of Lolita Lempicka is a bit of a dissapointment. It’s more sweet, more digestible. Lacks something that original Lolita had… Tobacco maybe? I don’t know. The new ad is with Elle Fanning so I think its marketed towards younger audience.

Lolita Lempicka really live up to its hype! Lots of woods, lots of sweetness, and all in perfect balance! The licorice wood has that smoky kind of sweetness that is so alluring, the violet is so soft and tender, the ivy is fresh and green, the cherry is juicy and sweet, and the praline is divine! This is more than a dessert perfume! This is the forbidden fruit! A temptation, direct from the Garden of Eden!

I was at a party last night and smelled a delicious waft of a green, irisy perfume. I thought I tracked the scent to its source and asked the lady what she was wearing.
“Lolita Lempicka!” she said and pulled a purple bottle out of her bag. “Would you like to try it?”
“Okay,” I said, holding out my wrist, but she basically doused me in it.
It was not the same perfume I was smelling 🙁
It’s really not to my taste, way too sweet. But I was stuck wearing it for the rest of the party. This morning I woke up in bed and I could still smell it on myself, so it lasts very well. But I had to shower straight away, because it felt like being hugged by an over-enthusiastic stranger and being unable to get away.

Oh my, how I love you my sugarliscious Lolita Lempicka! This is cotton candy in a bottle. I discovered this fragrance when it was first released in 1997 and I never forgot its signature scent. The new edition is quite identical. It is, firstly and mainly, sweet but, it is not sweet in a tacky way; rather it feels like pleasant childhood.
It starts off as a somewhat heavy scent (but do not let that disappoint you) as it gradually develops to a pleasant sugary smell like cotton candy or burnt sugar with a powdery twist of iris, white musk and (if you smell really well) a bit of praline.
Yet, it does not feel like a gourmand frangrance and I would not classify it as such so, do not be put off, you will not smell like a fresh pastry straight from the oven.
I wouldn’t classify it as a fresh, clean, crisp fragrance so, if this is what you are looking for then this fragrance is not suitable for what you want. It is quite the opposite; it is a warm, sweet, powdery, distinctive fragrance suitable for daytime and nighttime.
I recommend this for all ages, as it can feel carefree and innocent to younger girls or rich and sexy to… less younger girls 🙂
The bottle is wonderful too, a little jewel on your vanity desk. I would suggest that “Candy” by Prada is a lighter version of this fragrance; it is exceptionally identical.
To me, Lolita Lempicka feels a lot like a signature scent and others will definitely ask you “what perfume are you wearing”. Please, do not betray our secret…
    Enjoy the perfume quest!

I was intruiged by the reviews and just HAD to try this perfume. I found it at Ross for $20!! I figured I didn’t have much to lose. Well, lo and behold it’s an awesome fragrance! I’ve never smelled anything like it before. It’s in between a sweet and spicy smell but so romantic and sultry. I don’t know much about topnotes and so forth, but to my nose it is absolutely divine. This is my first day wearing it so I’m curious to see what the staying power is. It kind of reminds me of Black Amethyst from BBW or Warm Amber…(in that scent family). There was one more bottle left at Ross. I think I may go snag it today!!

This perfume, well I confess, I had extremely high hopes for. What a disappointment. Woefully overrated. It has a horrible sickly undercurrent that completely undermines the whole composition. I bought this based on reviews. Tried to like it and failed. In the end I had it re-homed. I just didn’t gel with this perfume at all.

I got a sample of this and I thought i should just give it a try. I am so glad I did! It is so far the most distinguished perfume I have ever tried. I used to wear soft rosy scents like Everose from Jil Sander, Comme une Evidence from Yves Rocher. I hate powery fragrances which give me a big headache so I always prefered soft elegant scents yet it’s somehow boring and lack the longevity. This actually smells like Miss Dior Cherie on my skin but younger and wilder. Miss Dior Cherie is the scent I’ve been adoring for a long time, but it is adored by too many people aged from 15 to 70. For a 19-year-old girl there’s nothing better than Lolita Lempicka Le Premier. I am wearing it right now and I intend to purchase a full size one.

This is probably the warmest scent I own, it’s luscious. I usually reserve it for colder weather but it’s still very nice in the heat. It’s 91 today and no complaints.

This scent is very soft and powdery, and has a mild sweetness. I smell the violet more than anything else. The licorice is merely a hint rather than the prominent note. This scent is never overbearing, its like a whisper that draws me in because I want to experience more. I’ve never tried the true original version from the 90’s, but this one smells unique and original to me. I think it’s just gorgeous and better than any of the flankers I’ve tried.

Fascinating, enchanting and romantic. This perfume has a XIX-th century aura. Caspar David Friedrich and Chopin come to my mind every time I wear it and I love it! LL is an absolute addiction.

Sweet candied violets, really lovely and lasts long. Has a fairy tale sort of feel to it. There’s a bit of cherry but it’s not too prominent, mostly sweet vanilla and violets. Beautifully blended and lasts really well. A good violet for winter.

I wanted to love this so much. Or more precisely, i DO love this so much, bot not on my skin. I spray this in my house, because I love being surrounded but this deep, gourmande yet fresh (liquorice)
