Description

Givenchy presents Live Irresistible in July 2015 as a limited edition that belongs to the Very Irresistible collection. The fragrance will be available exclusively at The Perfume Shop.

The lively composition is a mixture of fruits, flowers and spices. It opens with juicy accords of pineapple. The heart captures a bouquet of roses, laid on the base of amber.

The face of the perfume is actress Amanda Seyfried. The bottle design departs from the previous editions of this collection with form and textured glass. Available as 40 and 75 ml Eau de Parfum.
The nose behind this fragrance is Dominique Ropion.

Coming back to review this now that the temperature has dropped. I was concerned that the punchy and joyous pineapple and citrus opening would be too harsh and sharp in cooler weather. This has thankfully not been the case.
In cooler weather the fragrance develops far quicker, leaving the opening faster and heading straight into the soapy rose where it stays for many hours. After 8 hours I’m still enveloped in the base notes with a surprise touch of vanilla peaking through. The vanilla has been quite elusive to me in warmer weather, but for some reason makes a lovely appearance after a number of hours of wear, providing a touch of warmth to the sweet and soapy rose.
I’m so relieved this fragrance can carry through many seasons as it never fails to bring a smile to my face.

I wanted juicy pineapple. But in fact it’s fruity not pleasant mess( I don’t like this brand in general. Many fragrances by it smell chemical to me.

So good. I am thinking of buying it. Kind of weird how I always overlooked this when on my frequent perfume hunts in the stores. I was “forced” to use this tester, my only perfume source, when vacationing in a remote area and waiting for my luggage to arrive. Loved it. Would have never given it a chance otherwise. Sparkly and vibrant. It was my perfume fate…ha!

Smells like strawberry pop rock candy to me. Mmm, seems like my skin likes pineapple cause this made me smile all day when I wore it and im not a huge fan of sweet things in general. Its life giving. Very sparkling and jolly.

I don’t know if I got a bad bottle or not (ordered online from Macy’s), but my bottle smells terrible. It’s like a watered down, stale/dusty version of La Vie est Belle, but with pepper. The pepper note dominates on my skin. Also, not much sillage either. I was expecting a bright burst of juicy pineapple. Very disappointing. I usually love Givenchy fragrances!

This is SO SO good! This is what I’ve been looking for – a warm weather version of LVEB. On my skin, the vanilla and the praline are heavenly combined with the pineapple (I get no pepper whatsoever on my skin like others are reporting they do). This is sweet in just the right amount, the sillage and longevity are great – this smells expensive, definitely very French, Givenchy did a great job. I really hope this is a permanent fixture in their perfume line, and not a limited edition like what it was originally supposed to be. Thankfully, I have a feeling this must be flying off the shelfs, which I don’t mind one bit – the more people that smell like Live Irrésistible (EDP), the brighter my days will be. A+!

Fell in love at first smell with this scent. The smell of pepper and pineapple captivated me and urged me to buy a full bottle. However after sitting on the skin for a while the fruity hint decreases leaving this sweet scent.

Got a 50ml bottle when it first came out(summertime I believe) and it didn’t last long at all as I loved it so much. It is definitely very sweet, it was like a fancy pina colada on me, even a little bit like some Escada summer editions but some how a bit more sophisticated. I got tons of compliments from women around me, but I don’t think it made much of an impression to any men. Would love to get another bottle but there are 3 versions of this now, all really appealing to me and… too many perfumes and too little cash. lol

Gross…! I hate when they mix fruit with pralines it smells very cloying to me and makes me sneeze like crazy. Almost smells like if there were old pralines left on the desk after 5 years of getting super dusty and moldy…

Wait too sweet and spicy! Yuck smells like I sprayed pepper & pineapple on myself! Not good for me!

Spicy amber is what I pick up the most. Very much like clove. I get the rose note but it’s surpassed by the spicy sweetness. Reminds me of Hugo Boss, Boss Intense. However, this has more strength.

This is a sparkling, juicey, fruity floral. The opening has a hint of pineapple, but the tangerine is more prominent to my nose. This lasts about an hour. Then the drydown is a soft rose, which I really enjoy even as someone who does not usually like rose as a note. This lasts a few hours on my skin, but over a day on clothing. The sillage is moderate.
On paper this has a spicey/oriental vibe, but I don’t appreciate this on my skin. Because of this sometimes perceptible spice, I would say it could be worn in any season, but I would wear in the warmer months. I agree with Sailor V… It reminds me of a casual summer evening celebration.
This is a bright, joyful scent and although it has a youthful feel, I think it can be worn at any age.
Suitable for day/office or casual evening.
    Rating 9/10

Smelling Live Irresistible makes me think of summer holidays, parties and just having a good time without a care.
The pineapple is strong in the beginning, and I think the combination with praline, patchouli, amber and pepper is quite unusual. This is not a fruit cocktail or too sour. It’s sweet and spicy, warm, intense and delicious. A bit pastry-like. I also smell some other spices besides the black pepper, I found allspice as a note on another website and that makes sense to me.
Rose is not a prominent note in this in my opinion, but maybe the its slight, berry-ish floralcy takes the scent from foody to perfumey, without taking the center stage.
The final drydown is a sweet, ambery patchouli-gourmand on me.
Be warned if you don’t like sweet scents. This is really super sweet.
I don’t really get why some say Live Irresistible is similar to LVEB, but I guess every sweet perfume smells like LVEB to at least one person. To me, this doesn’t. And it smells even less like Armani Si, really, these aren’t comparable at all.

Simply put, this fragrance brings me joy. On my skin this is a lively and youthful fragrance with a base of femininity. There’s nothing elegant about this but it’s not a screechy fruity gourmand either. I’m generally not a fan of fruitchouli’s but this one is nicely balanced.
The opening is crisp and bright. Here I mostly pick up on the pineapple and grapefruit. Sometimes it can read a bit sharp, but this is quickly subdued by the rose. I’d say the opening lasts around an hour or so, then we slowly transition into the middle and base of the fragrance where a smooth, creamy, soapy warmth takes over. The base layers are cleanly feminine and youthful. Every now and again I’ll still catch a glimpse of the top notes, which brings the composition back to life as the patchouli and praline in the base can get boring over time.
The longevity has been amazing, anywhere around 24 hours plus. If this gets on my clothing I’ll be smelling it until the next wash. The projection is fairly heavy as well. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this for an office setting unless you are looking to make a statement. Because this fragrance produces divided reactions be careful not to assault people with this scent.
I’ve only had this fragrance in spring and summer so I’m curious to see how it performs in the colder months. With pineapple and grapefruit it could be disastrous, on the other hand the creamy base might play well in colder weather.

I often wonder why my skin and Givenchy fruity fragrances can’t be mixed – this one, like all from the Irresistible range, tends to become sour, alcoholic and strong on my skin. I can wear the Dahlia Divin range without issues, so I don’t know what they put in the fruity ones, but it doesn’t mix well with my skin Ph. However, on the paper tester, it smells amazing, fruity and flirty, with just a hint of rose and amber, enough to give it some depth. A fragrance aimed at a younger market, I think, but without being overly sweet, so a 30 something lady could easily wear it with pride. As usual, you should test a fragrance directly on your skin, to see how it behaves.

Got this from my mom when she was on holiday in Teneriffa, such a sweet sexy juicy perfume! I get the pineapple and rose, and the yummy base of praline and vanilla, and the longevity is insane, easily 24h+ on my skin!

Smells like alcohol with cherries. Just now I smelled vodka to compare and they are quite similar. That’s probably praline, but overall my first association was that this perfume smells like alcohol. Not sure if I want to smell like I use alcohol in everyday, but for some party who knows. It is somewhat aggressive, sharp, strong, refreshing cool and sweet. Reminds me something from childhood, maybe those artificial cherry juice syrups and powder packages. That overall fruitiness is something from childhood. This could be some celebration day in 80s or 90s when parents are drinking stronger beverages, but kids get lot of fun with juices and other chemical sweets, and somewhere in middle smells new rubbery, plastic toys and whipped cream cake. I can sense few pinkish, lovely roses. Maybe in middle of all that is some lady of that time who used some perfume, because I can sense there some moss or even cedar that was popular then. Or maybe it is just my association because those last two are not listed. I can distantly see why someone added to ‘reminds me of…’ one of Cacharel perfumes.

It smells not sweet nor fruity like I had hoped. I wore it for an hour and had to get it off. It was a strong scent.I had to scrub my arm with lotion, sugar, washcloth, and soap to get the smell off. I like gourmands, this one was not for me.

I got this for Christmas. It smells so amazing. My babe picked it out and says it smells sexy and yummy.
It’s sweet and lasts all day. It has a Flowerbomb, La Vie Est Belle feel to it but smells like a sexy upside down pineapple cake.

I tried this edp in a shop in winter time. Immediately I felt that Christmas was there. This smells so incredibly christmasy!
I can smell ginger bread and cookies and spices but in a nice and cozy way.
I love it and I will wear it to remind me of the holidays season.

My Christmas babe. Gift from my honey, this is my first fragrance from Givenchy. I have to say I am amazed. Let’s start with a bottle. Lovely, I mean beauty is in simplicity. The perfume itself is also beautiful. From the beginning, the scent is purely fruity. Like fresh pineapple and in the background I feel rose. Later in a few minutes, the perfume picks up another direction. Sweet pralines, in a hug of roses, with a little tropical fruit. I would define it as a sweety, fruity, powdery scent. Long lasting on the skin (and more on the clothes) For gourmet lovers 🙂

Well, this one! This one….is all about the base, bout the base, bout the base. ☺
The opening and heart is a bit too sweet, too bubbly, too fruity for me. Superficial if you will. Pineapple and vanilla. No rose, no mandarine. There are some vignettes that you could call interesting or inviting but in all honesty – it’s just a bit boring and harsh. Fills the market with yet another sweet synthetic fruitchouli which is almost embarassing to wear in public.
But the base! The base… That’s a whole different story – deep, on the drier side, slightly spicy, sssssmooooth.. amber, vanilla, something-something and chocolate. Quite attractive. So… I’ll survive through my 50 ml bottle to smell the drydown, but not going to replace. Ever!

Live Irresistible has almost eclipsed the popularity of the original Very Irresistible released in 2003. Givenchy has brought this flanker into the current decade by making it sweeter and fruitier, (more likely to appeal to the younger consumers).
Whilst I never owned a bottle of the original Very Irresistible, I always enjoyed it as a fresh, almost sheer rose scent that was perfect for Spring and Summer wear. Live Irresistible is a fruity floral which incorporates the same freshness found in its predecessor, however it has a sugary undertone and a rich patchouli base, not unlike a Miss Dior EDP drydown.
Pineapple is a difficult note for me sometimes, but I am pleased to say that although the pineapple accord in Live Irresistible is dominant, it does not smell sour or nauseating in any way. The fruitiness keeps this fragrance very upbeat and youthful and the sweetness makes it even more girly and fun.
Amanda Seyfried is the perfect celebrity face to endorse this fragrance with her sweet demeanor and adorable baby face despite her 30 years. Live Irresistible although very pleasant on my skin, feels a little too airy and sugary to suit my personal tastes. I would definitely recommend this fragrance to young women, even teenagers wishing to expand their collection and switch from wearing celebrity or drug-store scents to designer scents. The longevity and sillage is also superb.

Average fruity floral, can definitely smell the pineapple and passion fruit. It smells very synthetic and not like fresh fruits. Perfect for spring/summer, but can be worn year-round.

    Another one fruitchouli.
As rhaineclayton says in her review it is “LVEB and Si”.
Also it doesn’t suprise me that it is from the same nose that made all the range of La Vie Est Belle by Lancome, Flowerbomb by Viktor&Rolf and Olympea by Paco Rabanne.
I’m not into fruitchoulis anymore, for some reason I cannot stand them. Sweet perfumes and gourmands are not my cap of tea.
I have to mention that I have worn LVEB and I have a new bottle and Si EDP by Armani was my signature for 2 years.
I find it a lit spicy and it is a pleasant perfume for the floral-fruity lovers.
I think the “era” of floral-fruity perfumes it is over now..?
Try it if you like Si and LVEB kind of perfumes.
    Cheerioz…

I immediately thought yuk, this reminds me of a glass of grapefruit juice made from concentrate. Plus sweets. After a while it calms down somewhat to jelly beans. Give it a miss if you have anything but a very sweet tooth.

I have a small sample of this. Very tropical, fruity, and vibrant. I definitely smell pineapple and grapefruit in the opening as well as rose. Passionfruit too. It’s sweet and syrupy with a heavy sillage. Strong stuff, particularly in the first hour! By the end of the first hour it’s settled to reveal some of the praline, perhaps a hint of vanilla and amber, and some pepper. Still very pleasant, and it shows no signs of fading away. A mood lifter for sure. It evokes the feel of a tropical beach on a hot summer’s day. Pina-coladas and summer fruits. Very feminine and care-free. I may pick up a small bottle in the near future.

I thought this is what I picked up and loved one day at Ulta so I came home and bought online. Just received and it’s not the smell I remember, but I do like it. I was expecting something super fruity, this is more of a candy sweet but there is a bitterness, a similar note as Bonbon, I’ll be looking up the notes of each to figure it out. I’m thinking it’s either the peach or Amber that’s really bold on my skin. I really wanted to smell the pineapple but unfortunately I just can’t detect it, or possibly it was so fleeting I missed it.
As far as the smell I remember in the store, I remember the bottle was ‘bumpy’ compared to the original smooth bottled Irresistible. I’m guessing it’s the newer Live Irresistible Delieous. I just remember smelling in the bottle and I got really juicy fruits and a lot of sweetness without a strange bitter note.
I understand everyone’s comparison to LVEB. This is more candy sweet, LVEB has a ton of patchouli. I own both and I think they will be nice combined. I’ve also ordered the EDT so I can’t wait to see how different/similar the EDT and EDP compares.

Starts off quite unusual but then there’s an after smell of jelly beans which I absolutely love

Starts sweet, very sweet. Typically sweet scents don’t last on me. I also feel too old for these type of scents, as I don’t wanna be called the Candy Lady lol. But now while I’m writing about it, I want a bottle for myself lol.

I had very distinct experiences, on the 2 trials with my sample.
My first trial, on a warm day, the scent was very intense, with good projection, and it lasted for a very long time, allowing me to perceive very well its evolution. In the beginning, I could sense the fruity notes, although I was not able to clearly identify each one of them, or even to notice if any of the fruits stood out in the composition. It was more like a “tutti frutti” feeling, or even of red berries, even though they are not listed here. I could also sense the roses and, on the backgroud, the amber and orris root. It is a very jovial, cheerful, versatile, pleasant and non-invasive perfume and, due to the almost “endless” longevity (after more than 7 hours of being applied, it was still very perceptive), I have to say that this is a good choice for someone who is into fuity-floral scents. I also sprayed it over my clothes, and the perfume was still very noticeable more than 24 hours later.
When I tested it on a cold day, however, the perfume did not last more than 2 hours on my skin, and the evolution was totally different: the fruit notes of the top disappeared quickly, and the only reamining note was an acrid rose, from the start lto the premature ending. On my clothes, just like in my first trial, the longevity was gigantic, and the scent was the same as on the first time.
I would not recommend this scent for someone who is looking for a fruity-floral with a “plus”, because there are countless perfumes very similar to this one. If you don’y mind to reapply over the day, there are many other options for a fraction of the price out there, and they will definitely give you this “generic fruits + roses” combo.
To sum up: this is a good and well done perfume, created to please crowds that are not looking for a very special scent, just a pleasant one. For the price, though, I think Givenchy should have delivered a much more interesting experience.

Love this. There is an explosive fruity tropical burst when I put this on. The intensity dries down quickly to a warmer sweet but still fruity vibe. Gorgeous fragrance. Not sure where the LVEB comparisons come from? That fragrance is sweet, warm and powdery while Live Irresistable is sweet, fruity and sharp (in a good way). Nothing powdery about it.

  37. :

    3 out of 5

Sweet, fruity and even tropical scent, but not like teenager way. Very feminine, some warm, maybe powdery notes in a base. It’s like an adult woman, who had spring in her chest and who is dreaming about an holiday trip to a sunny, tropical destination.
I’m not sure whether it’s the right one for me, but surely it’s nice floral-fruity fragrance.

  38. :

    3 out of 5

LVEB and Si – I’ve smelled them.
Petite Robe Noir and Lanvin Me – I had them.
To me, this is not at all like any of these. Sure, it’s sweet and syrupy like the ones mentioned. But it’s also, vibrant, fruity and youthful.
It will probably end up in my collection at some point.

Today, I was trying another perfume in a store when I saw Live Irresistible and gave it a try to compare with Live Irresistible Delicieuse that was I found overly nutty. OMG, it is close to it, without the overload of almonds. It’s great! It is definitely a gourmand, a sweet, feminine, delicious fragrance. I get a wonderful FRUITY VANILLA CREAMINESS. Came back home and ordered two bottles right away! GORGEOUS! Last for hours and on clothes for days! yum.

  40. :

    5 out of 5

Well I do love this, but it’s definitely not what I expected.
I’m the kind of person I’m either on one end or the other, when I want smoky or spicy, I’m all in, when I want sweet, I look for diabetic, sugar coma inducing ALL sweet. From the reviews I was expecting some serious fruity punch, candy sweet, messy loveliness. When people say “syrupy” I get excited. 🙂
I bought this as a blind buy, first spray, heavy fruit…exactly what I expected. Next second, there’s a bite. Not a bad one, it doesn’t kill it, it technically I think does make it better, more rounded out. That must be the pepper, it’s a very obvious note. I do wonder if this is an issue for anybody, I could see it being too sweet for somebody who loves spice, and a touch too much pepper for somebody looking for heavy sugar.
Overall I do love it a lot and can see it being on a regular rotation of use, especially over the summer. But I think the pepper note has been downplayed in other reviews quite a bit, and the rose overplayed (I smell literally no rose)
Sillage is decent, not too overwhelming but definitely not a skin scent at all. Longevity I’m VERY pleased with, this has to be one of the first times a perfume has lasted half a day on me.

I have mixed feelings about Live Irresistible. Initially I didn’t like it AT ALL. After five hours it’s much better on the skin. So let’s break it down:
Initially it is extremely sweet, very juicy, very syrupy. Seems untamed. Like a blast of overload sweetness. No proportion at all. Surprisingly all I could detect was berries and cherries, without seeing the notes, and despite seeing them now, I still insist on “my berries and cherries” opinion.
Softens just a tiny tip into more creamy fruit. Honestly no praline and no vanilla for me now. Nothing, just vague, full on unstoppable juicy-sweetness. A very potent gourmand, winey, that makes my head spin. A rather shy rose appears too.
Then, there is a two hour stage that reminds me intensely of Modern Muse Le Rouge Gloss, without the “spilled on the floor plasticky cold wine feel”.
And successfully I must admit, I’ve reached the fifth hour of wear, and it holds strong, despite having softened a lot.
It is now that pineapple is traceable and prominent and the rose stands out impressively. It even has an old-vibe to it,quite haunting, I’m pretty sure I have smelled something similar on women when I was little; maybe the rose it responsible. Oh it’s so nice now! So pretty! Such an interesting combination of notes, unlike any other scent I have.
Now, honestly, I don’t know if I’m willing to be that patient for a drydown that I really like for five hours. It’s a lot. I can be patient for one hour, maximum two, for a non gourmand drydown, but five? I don’t know yet.
UPDATE: it’s the ninth hour of testing and I’m impressed! First of I love inhaling the pineapple rose combo which has no sweetness but doses of retro and secondly it seems absorbed from the skin, sinking; like the opposite of fleeting. How cool it that?
Oh I need to find a way to wear it ASAP

  44. :

My skin chemistry brings out the worst in this fragrance. Where the top notes are absolutely lovely, the drydown smells like old Spice Cologne on me. So I sold it to a lovely fairy and it smells awesome on him.

I love this perfume. It’s fruity sweet spicy perfume, stays on my skin for about 8 hours, it’s that kind of perfumes that can elevate my mood, perfect❤❤❤

I didn’t realize this was so similar to LVEB. I can handle intense leathers or spices or woods, but I cannot do sugary-sweet (most sweet fragrances make me feel ill, unfortunately), and this ended up being a scrubber.
Same for the EdT, I tried EdT on one hand and EdP on another. In my defense, I love Very Irresistible EdT, so did not approach these with caution 😉
Other folks who are also sensitive might want to try on paper before skin, lol.

The sales associate threw in a bunch of samples of Live Irresistible with my last Givenchy purchase.
Opening is very strong pineapple, but not fresh pineapple, more like canned with syrup.
It quickly develops into a La Vie est Belle clone – even my young daughter said, “it smells like Gaga in here!” (Gaga is what she calls my mother in law, and MIL’s signature is LVEB.)
The base is sort of reminiscent of Very Irresistible, with woody florals. Overall, Live Irresistible is not a terrible fragrance, but not full bottle worthy for me.
For recent Givenchy fragrances, I much prefer the Dahlia Divin line.

Finally I bought a 40ml of givenchy live irresistible in an amazing off in hiva perfume shops for 47$
When I tried it on a paper strip I was shocked and I felt it’s very different with what I remembered.I remembered it to be sweeter but on paper it was fresh fruity and sharp which wasn’t in love with but I could also detect lovely powdery floral scent, like a combination of rose and iris so I decided to try it on my skin too
It stays in fruity phase on paper for a long time but on skin, after a couple of minutes it settles to a pretty floralfruity(mostly rose, pineapple and passion fruit)sweetened by praline, amber and a touch of vanilla
It’s not among my top favorites but I like it very much and I’m very happy to own this adorable bottle..I have to change my mind about best season for it.I used to think it’s inappropriate for summer wear but now I think it’s wearable all year round in case it’s not too cold or too hot
Longevity is 6hours on my skin, tops and sillage is more than moderate but not heavy.it manages to remain light and fresh while being sweet and I think it deserves to be more popular
P.s:If you’re afraid of fruits like pineapple to turn rotten after some time, don’t be.it stays fresh and juicy..also it’s rose isn’t too strong to turn you off if you’re not a rose lover
    ❤❤❤❤
    Edit:
Now it’s among my top favorites
I find this sweet fruity, powdery rose Devine!
It’s a complement getter and has very satisfying projection and lasting power.I have already used half of my bottle.I will need a bigger bottle for spring and summer and deciding to repurchase a perfume happens for me verrryyy rarely
    ❤❤❤❤❤

It opens sweet but also tangy with tart fruit notes of pine apple, passion fruit and citruses and a sparkly, very pretty rose and a dash of pepper,it becomes sweeter, warmer and less peppery as time passes and dries down to dominant praline and rose with a melow, sweet fruitchouli
although very sweet,it has fresh, juicy vibe because of fruits, also feels clean in a pretty, girly way but still I can’t think of wearing it in heat.I love sweet scents, sweeter the better but I prefer to wear really sweet ones in mild to cold weather, this one can be sticky in heat and also I feel fruits espeacially pine apple’s scent changes in a bad way,so I’d never wear it in hot summer days, cooler spring and summer nights, also falls(day or night)are better IMHO
it’s not an original scent but it’s deliciosly sweet, flirty, happy and very feminine,it’s sweet fruity in a luxurious way,not in a childish body mist way,so I really like it
it’s bottle is also very pretty
longevity and sillage both seem to be very good,I can’t tell since I don’t own it and can judge after full wears
gonna buy it ASAP,however it’s pretty expensive.it’s more pricey than other givenchys here
    ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I tried this a year ago and loved it, instantly.I luv Givenchi’s perfumes for their feel good vibe, uplifting, bubbly, energic and tonic qualities.
This one i’ve searched for some time, it is fruity, makes me happy and smells nice.I like that it smells fruity, that it has rose and that it is bubbly, bright tropical and has a fizzy pretty nice smell.
This will be my signature scent for now
    Luv,luv,luv ❤

When I first tried LI I found it too peppery, then I got a bottle and started using it during summer and fell in love with it.
I’m wearing it today and it smells gorgeous! It has the same sweet thickness of LVEB only LI is fruitier.
It leaves an amazing trail and has great longevity.
    Back up bottle worthy

La Vie est Belle’s fun and the sun loving cousin, resembles LVEB but sunnier and fruitier. The opening notes are a sharp mixed drink burst if pineapple and citrus, then the dry down becomes a sweet Praline, vanilla and patchouli that’s very similar to LVEB

I want to like this and I can smell the quality of it, but man is it peppery on me (similar to the way Coco Mademoiselle or Flowerbomb behave on me)! I smell the pineapple for about thirty seconds and then it goes straight to pepper on my skin with a floral quality that reminds me of walking through Macy’s fragrance area where all the perfumes people have sprayed to test are mixing in the air. Not unpleasant in essence, but…I just don’t like this. Smells formal and mature on my skin and definitely seems like a fall/winter scent and not summer, unless you want to make people around you gag from the strength of this (it is very potent). I might try this again in the colder months and see if that changes my mind, but right now this is a no-go.
Edit: Okay, after wearing this for twenty minutes I had to scrub it off with a nail brush and Dial soap. Definitely too much pepper on me and then the patchouli started coming through loud and clear, too. I really envy those who have the pineapple and praline come through on this because I think that would’ve made it far more bearable. Definite pass for me and in the same vein as Si, La Vie Est Belle and all their siblings/cousins/friends.

this may sound a little bit silly, but the first five minutes of applying this perfume remind me of a FRESH strawberry juice from a juice shop or market.

It’s sweet. My boyfriend says it smells like “sweeties” and not much else. It’s sort of a sticky sweet and childish scent, I think. It’s nice, though, entirely pleasant, I do like it, but fades quickly and is too young for me. I wouldn’t buy again.

It’s not bad but reminds me of a typical fruity perfume from Victoria secret.

Extremely common and caramelishly sweet floral fruity. The spicy facet is very strong although it smells to me more of pink pepper than of pepper. The texture is quite harsh. I usually love pink pepper, but not the effect obtained in this fragrance. I would classify it as floral fruity gourmand. However much I admire some of Dominique Ropion s fragrances, I cannot find anything appealing about this one.

I feel very girly and a bit fun in a snotty way wearing this perfume.
The sour pineapple top is a bit off putting, but 30 minutes of skin chemistry melts this fragrance into a buttery praline rose with some sour fruits mingling to cut the sweetness.
Like many yves st laurent and givenchy perfumes this has a cold, harsh, almost industrial undertone that gives me a feeling of chemical glamour I find hard to describe. Like being in a hair salon or smelling the inside of a leather hand bag filled with makeup.
Excited to add an Irresistible to my collection, I believe I’ve found the right one to add!

I have never liked any of the Irresistibles – apart from Mes Envies, which i didn’t end up buying anyway!
This was a surprise! A fruity gourmand, with a rare quality nowadays, that of transforming as hours go by! I love the opening – very refreshing, i love the bo
