I received a sample of this and can only assume it is not the original 2012, but this one. To my nose, there is the impression of a little sweet coffee – perhaps the creamer smell I get from certain soft vanilla aroma chemicals mixed with amber.
It has a warmth, simple depth that would make a great modern gourmand unisex. I was a little surprised that the sweetness diminishes in the dry down.
Good sillage and longevity. This has a slightly balmy quality that would be great in summer.
