Description

Italian house of fine lingerie La Perla launches a new feminine fragrance at the beginning of 2012. The fragrance is named La Perla In Rosa and it is described as sparkling, mischievous and feminine perfume for free spirited girls who are fresh and spontaneous in their sensuality.

The composition is a modern chypre with fruity aromas that provide a “joie de vivre” atmosphere. Lively notes of raspberry, pink pepper and pear lead to the floral heart of cyclamen, rose and violet. Warm amber and sensual woody tones of patchouli and sandalwood form the base of this fragrance.

Thee bottle design follows the classic La Perla edition. The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 80 ml Eau de Parfum.

I just blind bought this based on the positive reviews here. Unfortunately I do not like this at all.
I can’t quite put my finger on what it is exactly that I don’t like, but I guess it’s the sandalwood and pepper, which on my skin become too strong.
Longevity is great with this (on me at least), as I had a very hard time rubbing this off. I could still smell this hours after just one rubbed off spray! Funny how this always happens with those scents you don’t fancy that much…
On a skin not as warm as mine I think this will be lovely, as the previous reviews prove.
NEW 30 ML BOTTLE WITH BOX AVAILABLE FOR SWAP:
I have a full 30 ml bottle with box (just one spray used) available for a swap. I can swap to those on my I Want list or to almost anything, as I like to explore new scents. Small samples are fine as well. Please send me a message. I’m in Europe/EU.

This one is perfect raspberry/peppery combo for the fall. Raspberry is one of my favorite fruity note that gives a perfume a sparkling shine with a girly playfulness. Pepper on the other side makes it a bit edgy, adding a delicate rosy twist. I don’t get any pear and the other flowers are delicate. Patchouli is not loud, can even go unnoticed.
I have almost forgot this scent in my wardrobe till the moment I tried the new Armani Because it’s you. It has the same raspberry/rose notes but for some reason my husband liked more In rosa on my skin. I guess I’ll stick to La perla’s scent.

Fruity, peppery and lots of wonderful sandalwood. I smell pink pepper, pear and violet the most. A slight and polite little rose, but for me, sadly, a little bit too much patchouli. Don´t get me wrong- this is by no means a patchouli bomb, I just wish there would still be less and maybe a little more tartness. maybe some mandarin or bergamot? I still is quite a lovely little scent and by the way, it´s not so little. Good silage and longevity, especially since it´s an edt. It´s high quality. It has the amount of powderiness that I love- it´s far from being baby powdery, it´s rather like the light dusting powder of Parisienne. Very nice and sophisticated. Although far from that strong, the amber in it reminds me of the amber in Miss Dior Le Parfum. It´s quite a warm scent, yet sunny and fresh. The sandalwood sure is sensual. Edit: I have changed my mind. This is boring. Boring fruit, boring patchouli. I have no idea how I could like it. It doesn’t smell bad or anything, its just… boring.

If you pick this just because you’re a fan of rose, then the name is bit of misleading. It’s NOT much to do with rose for my nose. However, i like this one. Clean, juicy fruity and no heavy powder or any seductive animal smell. Very nice for daytime.I recall Sonia Rykiel the T shape bottled perfume. Kind of similar.
Light and elegant. Hope the longevity can be improved.
    Worth buying!

I am in love with this fragrance ! Its strange because I feel that this perfume could gain so much more popularity but somehow I think its very underrated and unknown… Which I kind of like it that way ! This perfume reminds me of the same category of Si by Giorgo Armani, Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf etc. Its those sexy sweet spicy fragrances that are very hyped right now.
This one is definitely very sexy and sensual. Very feminine and warm at the same time. It opens with a very sweet fruity note which I think is the raspberry and pear. You can smell the pink pepper throughout, which brings this fragrance depth and mysteriousness. A slight sweet rose for a touch of femininity. It just smells so beautiful. The dry down is sweet woodsy notes, amber and vanilla. I think it also fits perfectly with the brand name as it portrays sexy and classy lingeries. It lasts all day on clothing and up to 4 hours on my skin. Overall love this scent and it definitely deserves more attention in the perfume world !

i have this one since Summer. Durimg summer it fades so quickly that it fails to make any impression on me despite repeated application.
Autumn comes and this blossoms into a subtle and amzing rose scent with a bit of green sourness. It starts off as some faint sweet water in the first half hour or so. Then pepper gives the sweetness a slight spice but the rose is getting stronger and stronger!
Logevity and sillage drastically improved. So glad i put this on in autumn rather than dismissing it after the Summer.

Most stores do not carry La Perla fragrances in my area but they just recently opened a store at the mall so of course, I wanted to try the fragrances they have. They only had 4 in the store itself-this was one of those I tried and I fell in love instantly.
To me this is gourmand with fruit notes and patchouli.
If you like Flowerbomb, you will probably like this. I don’t actually mean it smells like Flowerbomb-oh no. This has more powder and more rose which I actually prefer in this scent. I am not a huge rose fan in fragrances and it has to be done just right for my nose and this is beatiful-you get some brief fruit notes from the start and then rose comes in full force with light powder and patchouli. To me this is very elegant, sophisticated scent-expensive luxurious and classy-is how I would describe it. I picture woman in her 30s wearing Chanel suit, and carrying Kelly bag.

The famous Italian House of lingerie La Perla (the Pearl) released this fragrance in 2012 (not to be confused with the EDP version announced in 2014), as a subtle sensuality option for girls who are beginning to feel their femininity blossoming, spontaneously. It suggests the delicacy touch of their famous lingeries and brings, in its composition, notes of pink pepper, raspberry and pear, in the output, while the heart conveys the tenderness of flowers, through the notes of roses, violets and cyclamen, making room for a more rounded base of sandalwood, patchouli and amber.
There is no doubt that the secret of this fragrance is in the floral bouquet, light and silky like the petals of roses, with an almost transparent content, very feminine. But until you get to this part, you will need to wait for the evolution of the fruity output, which notes are powerful, especially if you’re not a fan of pear-scented perfumes. Personally, I found this fragrance an excellent choice of femininity for everyday use, whether in school or at work, ideal for the tropical climate of Brazil.
An observation: as I reported on my review of J’aime EDP, it’s worth paying attention to the images that are broadcast in the media. The lid of this perfume is not pink, it’s clear. Only the liquid has pink nuances, which can create confusion with the new EDP version or raise questions about the originality of the product.
This is the third review I wrote about the brand and, increasingly, I am amazed with the quality of the products, worthy of Italian origin, which I admire so much, when it comes to perfumes.

This scent is sort of like secret mistress. I dont smell it on myself but there are moment when I flip my hair or remove my scarf and I suddenly smell something really good. And then Im like -wait… thats me!

Smells of dried rose petals or rose talc, reminds me of Chloe eau de parfum – too old fashioned smelling to me 🙁

I had a smell of this on a card today and it was so lovely that I had a good spritz on my wrist.
Gorgeous, pretty and feminine perfume which is very sweet and extremely fruity and has got some of my favourite notes in it as well, such as violet, patchouli and amber.
I can’t believe how cheaply you can get this for and I am most definitely going to add a bottle of this to my fragrance collection.
It seems to come only in EDT but my goodness! The silage and longevity are closer to an EDP.
Highly recommended for those lovers of modern, fruity, floral, sweet, chypre type of fragrances .

i think laperla still makes some of the most beautiful.. sublime.. divine.. perfumes.. when it comes to quality.. silage.. and sensuality.. and just pure bliss.. and refinement.. they do make some of the best juices compared to their relatively cheap price.. you get a juice thats even better than a niche company.. and their perfumes are still virgins.. and unsynthesized(to a great extent ).. like many the others ..they have a character.. and charisma.. of their own ..
la perla in rose is an amazing.. beautiful.. medley of so many accords.. ita divine.. in so many levels.. it its feminine.. yet mischievous.. young at heart.. and still deep.. and warm..at sole.. so sensuale.. and definitely sultry ..the pear.. and raspberry make it want to sing ..jump out of the bottle and kiss you..with happiness and bliss..the florals make it so feminine.. and the amber.. sandalwood.. and vanilla.. and patchouli.. and the warmth.. and sex appeal of old school..make it simply sexy ..yet the pepper make it tantalizing..adding that modern touch which i find a it annoying if over done..but here its perfect.. and simply irresistible.. with a hip touch.. its a perfume that could appeal for the young and older generations.. for it plays on all the accords..
its simply a masterpiece.. its so inviting.. so luscious..s so subtly.. sweet yet so classy.. so confident… so arrogant.. sophisticated.. full of bliss.. charm.. and heavenly notes.. all the accords play together wonderfully.. it resembles yany and his compositions.. modern yet classic.. with a hint of higher divinity..out of the ordinary ..
its still a feminine.. rosy.. balmy.. powdery ..sweetish.. fruity.. amazing combination on a base of ambery sandalwood and patchouli bliss..it smells rich and full almost velvety its a skin scent and a wonderful creation

I liked some La Perla scents, so this is why I really was looking forward to this one. Luckily I could test it in a shop before blind buying it. To me it was a very sweet fruity pepper blast. I didn’t find it comfortable.

It is quite strong scent at the beginning, but after a while it develops to moderate and could be used before going to work/school/public. But, would be better before date.
And, I agree it had sth to do with J’aime. I had J’aime before and it was my favourite in the evening. So sweet, so … intimate.

Perhaps the people at La Perla read my review of J’AIME, in which I lament the gross musk note of that composition and the fact that the pink color turned brown even without exposure to light and over a fairly short period of time.
I say this because LA PERLA IN ROSA has very little to do with the original LA PERLA or with roses. It has a lot to do with J’AIME, however, including: raspberries, patchouli, sandalwood, and amber, all of which are also featured in the earlier perfume. What is missing? Why musk, of course!
To my nose, this is clearly an improvement on J’AIME, but it’s really nothing new. I’d say that the folks at La Perla came mighty close to rebottling their earlier perfume. This one is nicer as a fragrance, but the bottle of J’AIME was better. If only I could figure out a way to switch the two juices!
People who like a bit of skanky musk along with their sweet patchouli will probably prefer J’AIME. No one should be buying IN ROSA under the false belief that it is a rose perfume. It is not.

Could anyone do a review on this perfume? I’m incredibly curious about it, but I’m not willing to do a blind buy based on the notes alone since it’s quite expensive.
    Thanks in advance!
