La Cuvée Secrète (Le 68 – Cologne Fond de Cuve) is a fresh and invigorating Eau de Cologne from the Guerlain LES EAUX collection. It comes from a secret formula that has been handed down over generations in Guerlain‘s workshops. “A formula that harbours many secrets: the exact quantities, the harmonious blend of raw materials, the mysterious dilution and intricate maceration process… all of which combine to create the divine fragrance of La Cuvée Secrète. The scent combines freshness of bergamot and petigrain with aromatic lavender. Guerlain La Cuvée Secrète is available in 250 ml Eau de Cologne. La Cuvée Secrète was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is Thierry Wasser.

Typical case of what I call “much ado about nothing”.
Nice cologne type of scent, but not worth the price tag for what it really is: a thin solution of mainly petitgrain dominating the composition, plus some orange blossom, bergamot and a very vague lavender note. All of which dissipate within 15 to 20 minutes. And that’s it.
Guerlain has other colognes to offer, that are much better performers than this cute little useless thing, such as Cologne du Parfumeur for instance, which is still detectable hours after application.
