Hmmm…Almost too fancy for its own good. As nice as the presentation is, I feel like there’s something missing. I’ll just ignore my initial impression for now..The opening passes are layered with aromas of cardamom, rose, cinnamon and a hint of brightened coriander. The entry isn’t thick, but instead sweetly gentle but balanced by a thin leather blanket. The heart focuses on the subdued honey whilst the incense and jasmine makes merry around the spicy core. Definitely showing similarities to another favorite of mine called Notting Hill from the house of Boadicea the Victorious. This one has more of a noticeable sandalwood presence. In closing, I think I know what’s missing. More Ingredients. At $340 a bottle we need more substance and character. I don’t care how many trademarks your fragrance notes have. At the end of the day, is it worth the admission?
