I had a really large bottle of this and did not use it up. It’s an okay scent, fresh, fruity-floral, a strong berry note, but it’s also kind of sour and harsh and ultimately just not that exciting. I wouldn’t mind to smell it on others, but I also wouldn’t recommend to buy it, as there are so many better fragrances in the World!

I bought Juste un Baiser from Fragonard in Paris. Initially it was too strong and overpowering, probably because I was 17 and used to like more fresh, girly fragrances. I’ve started wearing it recently again and I love it.
I noticed from the reviews here that for majority of people it’s fruity, girly perfume but I can’t smell any fruit at all. It’s strong, soapy, a bit powdery scent with great longevity (8 – 10 hrs). There is some sweetness and maybe a bit of fruit but only when I smell it form the bottle, it’s not how it develops on my skin.
It’s not a romantic, girly, bubbly scent, it’s more like heavy, classic fragrance. In my opinion it’s more suited to mature women.
For me it’s unique, sophisticated scent, perfect to wear at night and during autumn and winter.

    Based on EDT concentration.
Fragonard Juste un Baiser stays fairly linear on my skin. It opens with sweet ripe blackberry, spicy violet, and a faint licorice undertone which dissipates with time. The fragrance gets deeper and more creamy with amber and vanilla. But it never really becomes like a fruit cream cake, instead it gradually turns into a cool and gentle powdery violet in the late drydown.
The sillage is close and the longevity is around 8 hours. Juste un Baiser, as a berry fragrance, is not as crisp and natural as Lalique Amethyst and Gucci EDP II IMO. But it’s a properly constructed artifact that is very enjoyable and far from being saccharine. I’d recommend it as an approachable and lighthearted violet-berry fragrance.

I can not understand the positive reviews, somehow I just don’t like this fragrance. It is very surprising that I don’t since it consists of very nice notes. I guess it yields from my dislike of floral fruity scents. This one is a fusion of mandarin, pear and violet on a heart of blackberry and wild strawberry, leaving behind an imprint of vanilla, amber and musk. Sweet, fruity and voluptuous. But I guess this is just far too sweet for me. Also I can’t bare the what sounds to me as powdery notes. That to me is unacceptable in any perfumes. However, this is not a bad scent for those who like sweet fragrances, in that case I highly recommend, especially taking price into account. This is very cheap for such volume and quality. However, I regret the eau de toilette doesn’t come in smaller packages.

Chemical erries candies. Way too sweet! Sorry but this is the worst Fragonard I ever smelled 🙁

The first spray is full of strawberries and blackberries. When it settles down it gets more floral and musky with a little bit of amber. It reminds me of berry bushes covered in frost.

This is deathly fruity. It’s a completely berry smell which might suit some people but frustrated me as the day went by. It’s distictive, but headache inducingly sweet. My bottle broke and I won’t re-purchase.

I decided to get this only based on reviews, and both by notes and smell its clicking !
To me it starts of kind of sour fruity smell, when that different fruity note vanishes it goes more flowery and the berries take over. This fase is really lovely and longlasting, cant agree that it doesnt remind me of anything cause it does…
Gucci II and something more intense fruity I cant pick yet.
The dry down is more of a toned down amber, lovely musk and vanilla.
    I really like this !
It will be lovely now for summer if I want a fruity touch – together with Happy Spirit which I already got
For autumn I will probably get back to Gucci II , Miss Dior, Armani Mania and Midnight Tresor
    in this genre..
Happy to have “Just a kiss ” in my Wardrobe !

I don’t know why, but I get a distinctive touch of licorice at the beginning. Berries are also noticeable in the opening and the middle phase, and I thought that there might be some cherries there along with blackberries.
I’m not yet sure whether I like it or not – the licorice phase is kind of strange to my nose.
(My sample was eau de toilette.)

This is a very light, pleasant, and unique fragrance. To me it does not smell like anything else I have smelled. It is going to be perfect for spring and summer!

i ordered this without smelling it, can’t wait to get it! I hope it works out but based on the notes, reviews, and how well Miranda works, I am feeling pretty confident. Will update once I have it!!

I’d never heard of Fragonard perfumes until I spent a weekend in Antibes with a friend. I’d never been to the South of France before and he took me to a little village up in the hills called Eze and to the Fragonard Parfumerie, which is how I came across this perfume.
I was given a tour of the Parfumerie and the woman who showed me around recommended this perfume to me because she seemed to think it would appeal to me the most out of all of the perfumes there. She was totally right and I fell in love with it – it’s gorgeous! It smells very feminine and girly, fresh, sweet and subtly of berries, particularly strawberry. Despite it being fruity though, it’s not a cheap smelling, generic ‘teeny’ kind of perfume, and it manages somehow to smell sweet yet clean and sophisticated! I smelled all the perfumes at the Parfumerie but kept coming back to Juste un Baiser. I came away with a 200ml bottle so I was a very happy girl!
Juste un Baiser (the spelling of it on this site is wrong) is soft and subtle but still has very good staying power and I only need spray it on once and it lasts for hours. I think it’s suitable to wear day or night so it’s versatile.
I LOVE this perfume and I’m so happy that I managed to get a big bottle of it. :-)))

My mother brought three bottles of Fragonard fragrances today whan she came back from a trip to Paris. We had to choose with my sister each one a bottle. I reached for this one first and my sister took Belle de Nuit.
The one I chose is the one i loved from the first sniff. This fragrance is amazing, soft and sweet, tender without interrupting your space, with a hint of fruit and another of vanilla. I staying power is good, a few hours. I adore vanilla scents but soft vanilla, not gourmand or spicy and this fragrance has just the right type for my liking. I hope one day i can buy a bigger bottle of it.
I would like to ask why the name of the fragrance is written ‘Basier’ when it is scripted ‘Baiser’ on the bottle? Can fragrantica fix that?
