Description

Joop! Homme is a very sensual, oriental fragrance with fresh citrus topnotes of mandarin, lemon, bergamot and orange blossom. The floral heart is very warm and balmy, revealing jasmine, lily of the valley, heliotrope and cinnamon. The exotic base introduces sweet and woodsy notes of vanilla, Tonka bean, patchouli and sandalwood. The fragrance was created by Michel Almairac in 1989.

As much as I don’t like this fragrance I am drawn to it every so often. I can’t help but want to wear it a few times a year. To me it smells like sweet floral musk. My wife says it smells like Febreeze and it gives her a headache. My 5 and 2 year old kids love it and think it smells like cherries. I don’t know what exactly JOOP is, but it’s strong enough to punch a hole into this world and never disappear. Literally, days later I still smell it on my skin. It won’t wash off.

The helicopter veered, I spilled my porridge, this reminds me heliotrope is a borage. The stewardess, Jasmine asked “Wood you like an orange Julius, or a lemon lime?” I reminded her my name wasn’t Julius, I was already juiced and asked for a paper bag to place my stomach contents into. The weather had been warm and balmy. After landing I stepped down, which reminds me when you get off of a helicopter, don’t raise your hand to wave goodbye the sillage from your wrist will be dispersed throughout the helipad causing alarms to sound Joop! Joop! Joop!

Joop, one of the most over-reformulated, over-worn, over-abused, overbearing, over-identifiable and overprojecting beastly performing fragrances EVER!!!!….and I sort of love it.
If you spray this twice about 3 hours before you go out, it’ll dry down in time and just emit the most subtle of sweet fragrances to turn heads. It slightly resembles Creed Original Santal but is much more gobby and much less sophisticated.
Joop has been over commercialised and is sadly really adolescent. I don’t wear this anymore as it has become so readily available you can pretty much find it anywhere you go such as in your local pharmacy under lock & key in a glass cabinet or most worryingly as I found out; in my local nightclub toilet where a Nigerian bloke was promoting it, “no spray no lay”, “No Armani, No Po Nani” before charging me a fiver to assault me with the stuff like a riot police officer controlling a crowd with mace.
If you’re 17 and want to pull a bird in the smoking area of a dingy nightclub or pool room this stuff is for you. If you’re 33 and make the mistake of wearing this to work, expect to be accosted by HR for workplace grooming.

Didn;t like it in the 80’s and still not a fan today. I’ll give Joop credit it is unique to it’s own. To me it is sweet syrup smell that can be over powering and nauseous.

can someone describe the reformulation on this and what to look for on bottles?

  6. :

I will never stop loving my Joop! It’s so unique. I own both cornflower versions and had one batch from 2015 for a while until I gifted it away. The newer one still performed beastly and lasted for hours on clothing. It’s still Joop Homme with slight differences that have to be looked for, but reformulation-wise, it’s a faithful one that still satisfies. It’s the smell of the childhood of 80’s kids, but it doesn’t smell like the 80s. God bless you!

i have a vintage after shave splash and its last for 12+ Hours whit monster projection
the vintage EDT last 24 hours
i spray it under the shirt and it is great!!! for me

It was too sweet for me. I see people say it reminds them of Montblanc Individuel – I can see that, but I think Joop is much, much sweeter. Performance was OK, so I’m guessing it is a reformulation, given other people’s opinions on here.

This reminds me of teenage years when heading out to the clubs meant the mandatory overspray of Joop. These were the old school clubs where the music was loud and the dance floors packed. You danced until you are dripping with sweat and then take a seat and fan your shirt. Even after 4 hours Joop was still coming through loud and strong. Joop was the fragrance that could cut it when more sophisticated scents got lost in the mix. In spite of a new generation of fragrances, this legendary fragrance can still hold its own today. The best part is that even today other people seem to like Joop.

this one is confusing, it smells exactly like cherry Hallz, yes the little candy squares. Longevity is not as great as statistics show, perhaps because it’s the new batch. I would buy this again only if its under 20$

The only men’s fragrance I wore, rebought and enjoyed immensely. It’s such fun: sweet, deep, sexy and a little crude – in a good way, if you can imagine that.
It’s a legend for god’s sake. Even now, whenever someone passes by wearing this, I get a huge smile on my face.

007peter i ve used as well mb individual, but performance was weak, and with joop homme i ve used only 2 sprays this summer and was magnificent, i ve got so many compliments, more compliments then adg profumo… Unbelievable!!! Good projection, longevity 10h minimum!
    Do not overspray!

    Pete…Diatosin is right.
I have a bottle of Joop! from Lancaster and the new ones from Coty.
No real difference in performance…Landcaster bottles have a few extra notes, that the new ones don’t.
But outside of that… Still a beast.
I’ll send you a 10ml when i get new atomizers.

  15. :

@007peter The new Joop has a good performance on clothes/objects, better than on skin. My so sprayed 3 days ago the front door with Joop, just for fun, so that I can smell him when he’s at work. Everytime I got in or out of the house it smelled like he just walked through.

  16. :

How is Performance on the new Joop? I just got a decant of MontBlanc Individuel, but I’m getting really bad performance of 30 min projection and 2~3 hrs total life. Does the new JOOP perform better, or is it the same?

Love it or hate it but you have to respect it. This is a gold jacket first ballot Hall of Fame LEGEND. This is a very sweet but masculine scent. The longevity of this scent is crazy it lasts 12 plus hours and two sprays is more than enough. What makes a legendary cologne? Like Joop it has a scent like no other.
What made me buy this? Ironically I was at a fragrance outlet during Christmas time the rep approached me and of course pushed products like Paco Rabanne 1 million. I then asked him to honestly tell me what the big sellers have been this Christmas he then proceeded to tell me that Joop! was on sale for $20 and was selling like crazy he also stated that even before the sale he sold more Joop! than anything.
I finally decided to give it a try and will say that I do like it. It is defiantly not for everybody and would recommend wearing this at night for going out. This is also more of a fall/winter scent.
    Would I buy again? Yes.
    The Gents score 8/10

A extremely floral, sweet, fabric softener. Definitely not for me. I was thinking about getting Montblanc Individuel, and heard this was similar. Nowhere around has testers of Montblanc, but I did find one for Joop. I heard Individuel was better, but if Montblanc resembles this I’ll pass on it too.
    Scent: 3/10

If you are going to go Joop! Please try Homme Wild. It has enough of a rum/tobacco vibe to distinguish it from this synthetic, sweet cherry/berry bomb.
Honestly, I cannot understand why anyone over the age of 15 would want to wear this. You can’t really control it. Even one or two sprays is enough to fill a room in six seconds. And it won’t die. You have to scrub it off your skin in a hot shower.
There are many really good choices today if you wish to get noticed. I mean in a positive way.

First I’ve had it in the 90′,bought a bottle,I remember it didn’t have a sprayer,it was like an after shave, but it was eau de toilette…later,I got it like a present from my gf…I still have that bottle, and I think that I haven’t use it for years! The reason is not because the scent is bad,it’s just for very special ocassions, because it’s a monsterous projection and longevity. What to say?I think it is a truly legend,in a league at it’s own,and very unique.Creed Santal is just a clone, came years after, and I don’t see the point to make a similar scent.I will always love that scent,it will always have a special place in my collection and my heart, and I think it is a MUST in any serious fragrance collection.

  23. :

It’s sweet but not like modern fragrances-it smells somehow powerhouse, typical for the 80s. I cannot pick vanilla or cinnamon-i get synthetic sweet a bit cherry smell. Performance is very good. I like it-buy if you want sweet but with a bit “macho” in it.

  24. :

Please people stop bashing this LEGEND.

I could be partial, because it is what my first boyfriend wore everyday. It is the most comforting, familiar, scent. Sweet, yes, but to me it’s still masculine.
Personally I love it. There isn’t a more pleasing men’s fragrance, to my nose anyways.
I can only speak for 90’s Joop, and it was a beast. Projection and longevity off the charts. I’m sure that is no longer the case.
I did buy my son the deodorant spray, thinking it would be more subdued. It’s nice, for him.

  26. :

    4 out of 5

The performance is outstanding, but after trying this several times I have come to the conclusion that its not for me. The smell is very linear on my skin and it smells of a candy factory.

  27. :

    3 out of 5

I wore this a lot in the 90s, and consider it more feminine than Joop Femme (a more aldehydic/civet scent). Great longevity (in the 90s you still smelled of it after 24 hours, nowadays it is far more subdued.Individuel , on my skin, is a weaker Joop Homme.

I love this! I saw a tester on the shelf setting next to the womens perfumes all pretty and pink so I thought it was womens. I tested it and was immediately wowed. I sprayed the back of my hand and couldn’t stop sniffing this beautiful fragrance. I didn’t know it was mens cologne (didn’t read the Homme part). I picked up the bottle and to my disappointment I read “Homme”. Trying to decide if it really mattered to me that this was a mans cologne or not, I found a group of ladies in the store and ask them if they would wear it as each one sniffed the back of my hand. They were all amazed by the wonderful fragrance and all said that they would definitely wear it. The ladies were shocked to learn it was a mans cologne. One of the ladies wanted to know what it was called because she wanted a bottle of it for herself. I bought it and I’m glad I did. My daughter came over the next day and acted like she was going to swipe my bottle. She loved it too! I’m in love with Joop Homme. I have to say this is definitely for both men and women. If you love patchouli then you will probably love this cologne too.

I like it all year round. IN summers its fresh and and in winters it makes you feel like having cinnamon cookies with tea in the clean and crisp, warm and cozy comfort of your home

    “Loud. Floral. Vanilla”
It cannot be stressed enough: this is a love or hate fragrance. The floral notes come across very synthetic to me, perhaps due to reformulation, and therefore I must side with the haters on this one. I get a very VERY strong rose scent at the opening which is not a very popular prominent note in a men’s fragrance. But, hey, you are looking at a bottle of lipstick pink juice here.
There are however some redeeming qualities to this scent. It projects like a beast- in fact, as many fans of this will tell you, keep your sprays at a minimum. Less is definitely more with this one. It also lasts quite a long time. You could easily get 8 hours on this. Lastly, the dry down to me is actually not bad. In fact, after about 3-5 hours, it smells quite like cheap version of Le Male. But you have to fight a serious opening battle to get to it.
I’d recommend this to someone who is looking to stand out and is interested in older, historically notable fragrances. Also if you are looking into niche fragrances to stand out this may be a spring board for you. For this reason I could argue Joop! Pour Homme is the cheapest niche fragrance on the market. As far as cost: worst case scenario you’re out a steak dinner on this one!
    Verdict:
4/10 – Again, this is a very polarizing scent. There is a market for it. I’m just not in that market. You’ll know within the first minute if you belong. The good news is you won’t be out much money either way.
    Sorry guys!
Joop! is a nope for me.

I don’t know how to explain, but i ve used only 2 sprays at work (outdoor) , lasting all day and took compliments from 2 beautiful lady’s.
I ve asked one girl after that about the rating from 1 to 10, she said 11…
If you find a fragrance who suit you, where it, no matter how another people’s says on here, can be much better than you expect!!!

The modern versions are not that strong. Longevity is good but sillage not the strongest in the world a i ma reading here. It is perfectly wearable whitout heachace inducing or something else… personally i like it, it is a SAFE scent for teenagers and not mature men.

  33. :

Chemical sugar water mixed with cherry cough syrup and reminds me of kesha and wild teenage parties
Not a pleasant thought or smell. This is linear and seems to get even sweeter over time. I heard about this before trying and am glad I did not taint my skin with this vile concoction.
I am sorry for such a negative review, but this is the kind of synthetic fragrance, that I think might be made with chemical or plastic by-products or industrial waste.
A suggest you avoid this , but if you like synthetic, cheap, and loud fragrances like silver scent, you might like this.
I do not recommend and actually recommend you avoid

I like vanilla cologne, quite a few people seem to like this, and it’s not expensive so I took a blind chance. I think it’s just ok. Starts off with a big, spicy blast. I think that may be the cinnamon. It dries down into a spicy vanilla with a big hint of florals. It may sound like an oxymoron as I prefer vanilla based colognes, but I think this one is a bit too feminine for my tastes. Too much florals. Anyways, most vanilla colognes dry down to just vanilla but this one retains both the spiciness and floral aspects, which is unique amongst vanilla cologne. I do like it overall, I’d say 6/10. My biggest problem with it is that I may be too old for it. I’m still in my dirty 30’s but feel out of place with this one. Nice enough but best for a younger, more adventurous crowd as all that flowery-ness kind of turns me off. One last observation, this stuff is strong! For me, it projects like a like a skunk with full tanks. People WILL smell you!
Try this one first to make sure you’re compatible. Blind buying it is a 50-50 proposition.

    Those GERMANS again… right?
They always have to overdo it.
Or as we say here in germany, you do it 500%, or not at all.
Wolfgang Joop (he’s 73 now) is an absolute bad-ass because his company created one of the strongest, if not THE strongest mens fragrance there ever was.
Obviously im talking about the REAL Joop Homme, the vintage Joop Homme wich was made from 1989 to about 2000.
It has the Joop Flower on the bottle, or “HOMME” on top and Lancaster Group on the bottom of the bottle.
I own 2 of those bottles.
Its the strongest perfume in my collection by far, and I own quite a few.
It outperforms even “strong” fragrances like 1 Million or Savauge to a point its ridicolous.
The reason for that is very simple.
The vintage Joop Homme is filled with brutal aromachemicals wich are all regulated to 0,1% today, if not completely banned. LYRAL is one of those examples, Vintage Joop Homme has a heavy dose of it and its drastically regulated, and will be completely banned by 2021. Just google LYRAL if youre interested in this topic.
    The smell?
Its a sweet cherry flowery sandalwoody atomic monster projection bomb.
Its so strong that people can smell it 6 hours after you LEFT their house. A friend told me that.
Its so strong that its scary.
Back in 1989 they wanted to make the most provoking fragrance there ever was, both in smell and performance, and the result was Joop Homme.
It was a topseller, the absolute CLUB scent for those dark techno clubs in germany in the early 90s. Im sure a lot of chicks got banged by guys who wore this stuff at those times. Lol.
Its still a topseller, but the version of today is not even 10% of its original strength, because almost everything in the Vintage is banned since many years.
Get the vintage bottle if you can, and you have a milestone of german perfumery in your collection, and aswell one of the strongest fragrances there ever was on the market.

Polarizing scent…..you would either love it or hate it, there is no in between. Very sweet, but still warm and mysterious. Don’t blind buy it.
NOTE: it is not the powerhouse it used to be.
Sillage is quite heavy for first hour then it settles down and a creamy scent stays for 4-5 hours.
    Overall 8/10

Though I own Joop! Homme for a long time, I just thought of reviewing him, stimulated by another similar (for me) perfum that I just bought. From the start, I should add that i don’t own or owned the vintage formulation of this. Just the current. My bottle is from a batch of 2016.
Joop! Homme is a unique perfume. Original and bold, brilliant and rebellious. Joop! Homme is the thing that brings warmth in a winter story strewn with colours, joy, good pleasure and dancing.
Its opening is for me very, very similar to Bogart Pour Homme, smoky cherries and tonka, sweet cherries for Joop and sour ones for Bogart. The drydown is different, but both keep the cherry accord until the end.
In drydown Joop! Homme loses gradually but not totally the cherries and increases the smokiness and mixes with it a melange of cinnamon, vanilla and jasmine. Indeed, it’s sweet, but what a classy sweetness!
We complain that fragrances have a synthetic smell in a world where all things have become synthetic? However, Joop! Homme does not seem to me smelling synthetic.
The perfume deserve its place between (living) classic legends.
The performances are very good, especially the longevity. The projection I didn’t find it so monstrous, but rather moderate. It does project very good, but only in forst 1-2 hours, then it settles down.
    Smell 10/10 (for uniqueness)
    Longevity 9/10
    Sillage 8/10
    Performances/price ratio 10/10
    Overall 9.5/10
That means HIGHLY recommended, I love it!

I can’t believe i have yet to review this incredible, old school frag.
There is no denying this, you either hate this or love it! there is no in-between! This and Angel Men by mugler are the two most loved/hated frags to have ever been created.
No matter what you feel about Joop homme, there is no denying it as one of the most iconic fragrances of the early 90s.
All throughout high school i would smell this in nearly every hallway. i remember the teachers would confiscate bottles of the juice and send people to detention for spraying it in class – ah, the memories!!!
IT is, sadly to report, no longer the absolute silage MONSTER it once was. I mean, it is still very strong, but nothing, i mean absolutely NOTHING compared to the powerhouse it once was during its glory days!
It smells of candied cinnamon, that is pretty much all i can describe as that is all i smell. It smells like you took a cinnamon stick, dipped it in sugar and let is dry for a few days – it is sickeningly sweet and yet somehow alluring all the same. the current formula though similar, is weaker and no longer the monster this thing used to be!
I rank it a solid 8.5/10 for the iconic status alone!

super super disappointed in this. i bought this cologne because of it’s reputation of filling the room, man batch code 6050, that was a waste of my $65. disappointing, nothing more than a skin scent. longevity is great, can still smell it in the next morning, but what good is longevity if people cant smell you. compliments-wise only got 3 from people at home coz it was a few seconds after applying it.number of sprays: even infinity wont get you noticed. batch code 6050. disappointed in joop!. i waited a very long time to own this and when finally the time came. shame. i don’t know about the so called “vintage”

After reading mostly positive reviews here and in You Tube especially on its longevity and sillage I went ahead & blind ordered it…it arrived yesterday, a NIB batch code 7139, 2017 batch. I don’t understand why people are saying it smells like sweet cough syrup/bubblegum or Cherry vanilla… Example of Sweet or bubblegum scents are PR Invictus/ 1 Million or Givenchy gentleman only, cinnamon vanilla like Boss Bottled No 6….This For me it is just flowers, I smell florals after florals…no cinnamon, tonka bean or vanilla at all. Started sharply then took time to dry down…smell jasmine and other flowers that I can’t decipher so I waited for the base notes to kick in…then again florals..honestly I don’t know what is the hype all about. I never tried the Vintage so I am unable to comment whether it is the reformulation issues or not..Do I hate it? NO. Do I love it? NO also. I am frag collector and currently I am collecting old school frags and Joop Homme is on my list & finally got it.
For longevity : 9 hours on me.
Projection/ Sillage : strong for 2 to 3 hours and people standing near you definitely can smell u…then it mellows down to few inches to your skin..
Compliments : so far none coz i just tried it (if any will update)
It is not a room clearer as some as portrayed, it is just strong perfume. Performance 8/10 (very good)
The scent ; 5/10 ..Unisex floral heavy….not a manly scent to my nose..
    So try b4 you buy.

  45. :

Didn’t think I’d like it, but there’s something in that smell. Under strong sweetness of vanilla and cinammon there is some masculine dirt of an almost Kouros-y vibe (may be because of a solid dose of jasmine). After a few hours it becomes pleasantly citrusy – perosnally I’d swap the top notes with the base ones.
My favourite sweet frag. And I don’t even like sweet male perfumes.

  46. :

    4 out of 5

Words can’t describe how much I dislike this cologne. I bought it because of all the good reviews and hype, so I blind-bought a bottle. I sprayed it on me and the cough syrup, garbage bag, and sweet smell destroyed my nose. Gave it away right away to my dad and he used it up. Do not recommend blind buying whatsoever AT ALL

  47. :

I’m reminded of a friend: Being around him is like an assault on the senses. His clothes are gaudy and attention seeking, his talking voice screeches at unpleasant decibels, just his general aura will completely encroach upon you! He is bold, unique and unapologetically himself, (which make him a hoot and a holler as a drinking buddy) but there is NO subtlety to be found within him. I shudder at the idea bringing him along for coffee or going to church. Hell, even a late night store run might be pushing it. When someone is this divisive the words ‘ostentatious’ and ‘overbearing’ appear frequently (they may even throw in a homosexual slur).

Homme i was and iam still the biggest fan of that oldschool smell but in this era especially nowadays nobody likes it as i can see , and compliments no compliments at all i bought it still has that GOD Like projection and longevity my friend told me bro this smells like those cough syrups on steroids , and it is true just buy MontBlanc Individual it smells same but so much fresher and more appealing and more likable just as hint like fabric softener with a pinch of rasberry don’t waste time and effort for Joop just buy Montblanc Individual .

I feel I can wear this during a party. It’s not that bad just don’t spray on your neck cause your olfactory nerves will be overwhelmed. Smells like cherry cough syrup with a hint of roaches. (as in those insects that roam on the dark corners of your house.)
    Scent: 3/10
    Longevity: 10/10
    Sillage: 10/10
Warning: It doesn’t come off even after washing and scrubbing vigorously.

JOOP! is one of those quintessential Men’s fragrances that everyone who lived through the 90’s should have some memory of. Husband is 43, so of course we have a bottle and both like the smell. We live in Florida so I was really happy when I found a 2.5oz bottle of the deodorant concentrate at Bealls Outlet after Christmas for under $10. The EDT is very strong, so this weak formulation is actually more like what an EDT should be because JOOP! is strong and its mostly too hot and humid to wear in the summer in the EDT form. I put the EDT away until Winter so my Husband doesn’t confuse the two.
I think this fragrance has managed to stay popular and stand the test of time because its unique. Its warm, sweet, spicy and clean. For me with this particular cologne its a sum of all its parts, and it lasts and lasts. It conjures more an image of a Handsome Freshly showered Man wearing a big warm fluffy bathrobe that you just brought him hot out of the dryer. He hugs you in a long comforting embrace that makes you feel safe. This to me is not the smell of a Club Guy or a Ladies Man, but a Provider. This guy loves and works hard and cares. He is mature regardless of age.
Probably not the image the design house intended, but that’s what it smells like to me 🙂

Very sweet indeed lol…. made me wonder if I got the wrong bottle… smells like a more mature version of Nude by Rihanna
Fruity tropical, powdery vanilla (heliotropes), orange blossoms, & musky sandalwood stand out to me
It’s smells nice so far to me

Joop Used to be such a unique and inviting fragrance (in the right dosage). I tried the current formulation today and it is pretty raunchy. The smoothness is gone. It smells like a bottle of Joop that has gone bad. It’s mostly sour and not near as sweet and inviting. The color of the juice is almost clear. The old formula was a dense color. It appears to me they are only making this for those who have worn Joop and are fans of the old juice, but they can’t be bothered with trying to spend the money to keep it legit. Obviously not trying to intice new fans for this fragrance. Find a vintage if you can. This current version sucks for sure.

Awful is the first word that comes to mind when I smell this. It smells like an old lady that would bathe in laundry softener. One spray will give you a headache for hours. I sprayed one on my wrist this morning, 3 of my friends asked me what was that horrible smell on me, and my mom told me I should take a shower as soon as I walked through the door. And good luck getting rid of it, the thing penetrates your skin like a parasite. I’m so ashamed I walked in public smelling like that. Horrible powdery smell

it is a good fragrance but don’t spray more than 2 times. The trick is not exagerate, because the juice must reamain softly present. Overspraying results so boring ( no much than 2 sprays)

Had this frag in the mid of 90s and used only for night outs )
Bought 200ml bottle bout two years ago (paid 25euros as I remember) and use it today for a first time since then.
    I’ve been asked 3 times – no surprise actually – what I’m wearing )))
Last lady in jewelry shop said “Gorgeous smell ! What is it ?”
By that time I was in mood for kidding … “It’s a new frag from NA-SO-MA-TO called Red Fire” – I replied
“Gorgeous – she repeated – unique and very expensive!”
    The End )

It used to be very pungent n’ potent in 90s but i bought a new bottle yesterday and it fells like it is more wearable and pleasant now. It is a longevity beast tho, cause when i woke up i could still smell it on my wrist. I like sugary perfumes like eros, jpg ultra male, sculpture, rochas etc and for me joop homme is the god of sweetness 🙂

Original stuff. However legend. If price was 300$ we would say ” this is amazing niche, or artisan perfume”. Cuz, this is really art about scent. Must be buy two bottles.

    MAGENTA MAGIC
Just bought a 6.7 ounce bottle for $30 from amazon. Can’t wait to get it. I have no idea what it smells like but it will be cool looking on my counter next to Versace Oud and Chanel Platinum. I will call it Magenta Magic. It should be here today. Amazon Prime is awesome. If you order from Amazon… (Amazon the company)… you should be confident that your are getting the real deal (as confident as if buying it from any department store). It’s when you order cologne off Amazon from a 3rd party that you run into issues with counterfeits.
    Update:
Just got it in the mail. This stuff is not for me. Smells like Febreze-Tide laundry detergent… almost a moth ball kind of scent. But the 6.7 oz bottle is cool looking, which is why I bought it.

Joop Pour Homme is one of the most reviewed fragrances here on Fragrantica, and for good reasons… it’s a living legend! Hate it or love it, nobody can deny its legendary status. Although no longer the clubbing king like it was in the 90’s, it’s still alive and well pleasing the noses of fragheads worldwide.
The scent is simple but complex. It’s a cinnamon flavored bubble gum soaking in clean laundry detergent. Although there have been complaints of reformulations and the Joop house weakening its beastmode projection. I assure you even the latest formulation is plenty strong. If they did weaken this sauce that’s a good thing because it can easily be too loud and obnoxious if over applied.
If I was still in my clubbing days I’d wear this legend to the club and take on the 1 Million guys head-to-head. I’m convinced Joop will hold its ground very well and stand out far ahead of today’s clubbing scents Prive, Eros, Million, etc. The only thing “dated” about Joop is I can’t wait until the next time it comes around in my rotation to wear. Hell, I’ll wear it tonight! The Legend is back!

This fragrance is not for the average nose. That’s why there’re so many negative reviews about it. It’s a very complex fragrance, and you really need to understand about perfumes
