The heart incorporates night blooming jasmine, orange blossom and Tiger lily, on a base of tonka, chocolate, vanilla, sandalwood and driftwood.

The fragrance will be available as 100 ml, 50 ml and 30 ml, as well as roller-ball Eau de Parfum. This smells clean , pretty & soft . It’s not as unique as Fancy or Fancy Love . What it reminds me of is right after a shower or bath : the combination of the lingering scent of the soap or body wash used & then the lotion scent on still damp warm skin. I really like the prailine note , it goes so well with the bit of citrus & fruitiness – it really is so pretty . This is not on par as Fancy which I think is a masterpiece , but not every perfume is gonna be absolutely unique – even the high end stuff can smell rather generic – snobs be damned , it’s true . Anyways , this is very Jessica , which is great being that I think she puts real thought in her perfumes – it’s warm , sweet & likeable . I do see that it does not last like Fancy or Fancy Love at all though , & that’s the major flaw with it , within a couple hours it’s poofed away into a faint skin scent that’s barely there .

Does anyone else notice a similarity to Vanderbilt by Gloria Vanderbilt? THIS is what I wanted Vanderbilt to be…softer, just the perfect notes and missing the harsh, jarring note(s) that made me dislike Vanderbilt.
My experience with Signature is that sillage and longevity are even better with this than with Fancy.

If you’re one of the ones who love this but are unhappy with the longevity, I’d suggest taking a sniff of Dolce and Gabbana pour femme or pour femme intense. They both have a similar powdery, sweet, fluffy thing going on. Feminine.
On the other hand, if you’re broke, and love the D&G pour femmes, this is a good substitute in the meantime. It’s not 100% dupe, as there’s more berry in the D&G’s, but there’s something similar happening.

Cute, but just SO weak. Pretty, whimsical peachy white chocolate and vanilla fragrance. Very similar to Fancy Girl, but unfortunately lacks the sillage and longevity of that one and doesn’t hold a candle to Fancy. I keep it at work as a body spray, but wont be repurchasing.

Unfortunately, Tonka Bean and woody notes are super dominant here on my skin, front and back. I only got to enjoy the fainted gourmand notes here and there (white chocolate, peach, fruity notes…). Such a beautiful combination of notes but THE RATIO/balance between those notes did not work out quite well on me as I would hope.
I found out one interesting thing about Jessica Simpson fragrances in general. If any of her perfumes seems to be too strong on me with certain notes, its BODY MIST however really pleases me with those dominant scents being toned down a lot.

I have ten and I like it a lot so when I saw a tester bottle of JS signature, didn’t wait to spray it on my hand.
Mmmm…I like this one as much as ten, maybe even more.signature and ten are sister or cousin perfumes.ten is more fruity;bright and sparkly clementine and nectarine shine in it more than anything, while signature emphasizes more on sweet notes and creamy and clean florals.I can really detect white chocolate and vanilla in it.it’s sweet, delicious and smooth.pretty and feminine.I think it’s sweetness is a bit more than ten but this doesn’t make it the younger sister.I can’t talk about single notes and details.I need at least another test for that, for now I can only say that it’s nice, easy to wear year round and another perfume with Jessica Simpson’s name on it which I like.
I sprayed it once on back of my hand at 7:30 pm.when I reached home and smelled my hand,it was 11 pm and I couldn’t find slightest traces of it.while I had tested rihanna crush on my other hand at the same time and I could smell a faint skin scent when I reached home.so JS signature’s longevity is almost weak but I don’t care about longevity when I really like a scent.the reason that I didn’t buy it was that it was priced 75$! Can you believe that?? It was 3.4 oz but still,it’s very very expensive!and unfortunately that was the only perfume shop that I know that has this perfume.I would definitely buy it if it was below 30$ but I can’t justify paying this ridiculous price even though I really like this soft, sweet and feminine scent.

So dreamy, smells enchantingly sweet. Creamy white chocolate, tonka bean on top of beautiful floral’s mixed with the most seductive citruses… clementine, nectarine, apricot. Peaches & Cream… OH MY!! When I smell this I’m instantly transported to heaven. Best suited for cold seasons, winter, autumn, maybe spring. I’ll be in LOVE with this beauty forever!! I really hope this one doesn’t become discontinued.

Blind bought because a full size was like $8 on eBay and couldn’t resist. It’s not as sweet as one would expect from JS. Personally I think it’s an equal mix of spicy/tonka bean with florals and hints of sweet vanilla notes in the background. Something about this perfume also feels soapy, idk why. But the white chocolate note doesn’t seem stronger than tonka bean/the floral notes to me. It’s nothing like Fancy. It’s like a clean, soapy, mature version Fantasy by BS (another popular white chocolate perfume). Something about this, maybe it’s the earthy spice mix with the florals, idk…But it reminds me of toilet bowl cleaner. 🙁 There is just nothing special or interesting about it, it just smells weird. The drydown is actually very nice – a beautiful orange blossom scent. Reminds me a little of Armani Code (only at the dry down!) I think the bottle is so cute!

Bought this as a blind buy/ accident along wit several others. I sprayed it on my wrist and arm and initially the scent was ehh but as it dried down it smelled sweet. Not overly sweet but a sweet that would make me get sick of so I am sending it back. Not fancy of it at all

We still have a lot of people coming into Dillard’s looking for this fragrance. It really is a great perfume, the smell is addicting and if you love vanilla this is for you. Some vanilla scents come off as artificial smelling but signature is very nicely blended. I spray at least six sprays, two on my neck one on my chest two on my back of my neck and one on my shirt and I can smell it all day. Sure it’s not powerful but I like that. I wish she would do more scents she hasn’t released one in years. Really parlux give us a higher end Jessica scent we would sell it well at Dillard’s since we get lots of request for her fragrances. I got a great deal on perfumania since it’s the best place to get it since they bought out parlux and I trust to get fresh product from them

Another great Jessica Simpson fragrance! Her perfumes are very impressive especially in comparison with some other celeb fragrances. I always have the impression that she really cares about releasing good scents and they never feel ‘phoned in’. This is a peachy creamy white floral that works really well. I would say if you like in particular Fancy Love you’ll like Signature.

I loved Fancy and Fancy Love and found this in a gift set for 10 bucks so why not? I immediately tried the body spray that came in the set and liked it. I liked the sweet, citrus, vanilla combination. Before I got a chance to try the edp an acquaintance started wearing this to a regular gathering that I go to. She wore it like it was her last day on earth, though, and the room that’s big enough for about 150 people got Signature bombed on a regular basis for a few weeks. I put it away for a while knowing I couldn’t possibly enjoy it anytime soon after being force fed it. When I did try it I recognized the similarity to Kenneth Cole White. IMO Signature is KC White’s obnoxious cousin. Maybe that’s too harsh. Let’s say unrefined cousin. It’s just too much for me. I like sweet fragrances but this is too much sweetness and it’s too sharp. Also, as others have mentioned, it doesn’t last long. I may keep the body spray but the edp and travel/purse edp will either be traded or given away.

Too weak and not enough “amp” smells like one top note not a whole perfume. Won’t repurchase.

Got this baby today by mail – bought it unsniffed, as the notes seems like something of my taste, and given the fact that I LOVE Fancy.
I am not dissapointed – it is very ‘Jessica Simpson’; feminine, girly, pretty, sweet, inoffensive, crowdpleasing vanilla gourmand.
Personally, I think it reminds me a lot of Britney Spears ‘Fantasy’, at least in the beginning. I think it must be the white chocolate + fruit. Britney’s has white chocolate + kiwi fruit, where Jessica’s has white chocolate and mandarine, so they ARE different, but still very much familiar.
It develops into a more mature, more grown up (than Britney’s ‘Fantasy, which turn more young and girly), with a deep vanilla (not cupcake vanilla, more like dark vanilla), and lots of tonka beans. I often tend to feel like fragrances with tonka are wintery, and same goes with this.
The drydown still contains a lot of vanilla and tonka, and a slight slice of white chocolate. Jasmine and some other white florals I can’t put my finger on (tiger lily?) makes a shy entrance, which keep the fragrance elegant and ladylike, opposite to being a fruity sugar bomb.
It is very cozy and snuggly. Reminds me of warm blankets and hot cocoa and knitted socks during winter time and heavy snow. I think it is a ‘skin’ scent – actually, it smells like how I believe many men think women smell naturally 🙂
Projection is fine, but lasting power isn’t the best, but alright for the great price. Bottle looks amazingly cute and pretty, and suit the fragrance perfect. Same goes with add and packaging, which both looks stunning and beautiful.
A great heiress after ‘Fancy’ 🙂
EDIT: wore it today, in cold, humid Scandinavian winter weather, which made it smell a lot like Katy Perry “Meow” – a similar pear and vanilla like scent.

Well, It does smell amazeing but it doesnt really matter since the longevity is so bad. I dont know what Jessica Simpson is thinking putting her name on this. After Fancy, Fancy Love & Fancy Nights( I never tried Fancy Girl) which all have great longevity and sillage I cant see putting something so disatisfying out. Its so frustrating when a scent smells so good but disappears after an hour. What a waste.
I dont want to give Ten a chance after this. Tired of these weak perfumes! And no excuse since most of Britney, Rihannas and Taylors last all day & are cheap in cost.

    4 out of 5

Smells amazing… but.. i HATE that it has absolutely no staying power. No sillage, obviously, as the scent vanishes in about 2 minutes. Such a shame, really. I’m confused? All of Jessica’s Fancy line etc, are all very long lasting and beautiful sillage. What went wrong here? Was this supposed to just be a cheap little perfume, just to put out for the hell of it? Did anyone actually care whilst making this perfume? No one noticed that they created a delicious smelling perfume — but has no longevity?
I think this was just a quick release of the Signature and Ten, to keep Jessica relevant in the fragrance world. Who knows. I just got my bottle a few days ago, and literally have gone through about half already almost. I am in lovvvee with the smell – can’t get enough! But whyyy is it so fleeting??! Ugh. I’m disappointed with it.
The smell is beautiful. LOTS of white chocolate and tonka. In no way comparable to BS Fantasy. I saw it was up above voted as a dupe. Vanilla and clementine hang around shyly in the background. Very sweet, very innocent, and charming. I would honestly wear this all the time, if it lingered. But.. I guess it wasn’t meant to be? For now, I will enjoy smelling it when I spray it all over myself before bed just to get that smell. I’m asleep in a minute, so i won’t be upset when I realize it’s already disappeared lol. Bottom line: Gourmand beautiful scent ….extremely weak… I feel bad for this poor perfume

I blind bought this one due to a pretty bottle and a good price. Now I am not the biggest gourmand fan, I usually find them all so similar. But this one is really really nice! I keep picking up the bottle to smell it. I think when it runs out I will buy a bigger size. It’s a light, refreshing vanilla, not heavy or cloying in any way, with undertones of fruit. Very yummy and cozy, snuggle worthy.

like this one better than her Signature 10, this one is sweet floral the other fruity floral. I prefur this one to her 10

  19. :

    5 out of 5

I am glad I got this one. It smells enchantingly sweet. A balanced sweet. More of a skin scent. The lasting power is weak-moderate. I don’t mind because it was inexpensive. I find it a little bit similar to Fantasy by Britney Spears. I believe because of the white chocolate as a prominent note with a couple of notes in common. It also reminded me of Burberry. Must be the peachy notes, the vanilla, sandalwood and jasmine. It’s such a sparkling scent perfect for the day and totally fine for the night. Versatile, feminine, classy yet bubbly.
This is not cupcake sweet. It’s more of a glazed fruit kind of sweet.

  20. :

    4 out of 5

Well, the box is very pretty and the bottle is pretty, the fragrance is pretty average and inoffensive. The first few minutes after spraying this, I smell fruit, FRUIT, fruit…. Then as this dries down, I pick up the white chocolate, a soft sweetness, but not at all a sugar-bomb. One of the better celeb fragrances.
The only problem I have with this one is that it vanishes in about an hour. Like, not even a skin scent after an hour. I suppose if you only wear this to meet friends for coffee or to go out for lunch or to go on a quick grocery shopping trip, that sort of thing, this might suit the purpose. But if you want/need this to last all day, you might have to re-spritz throughout the day. But in all honesty, there are body mists that last longer than this one.
Nice for days when “nice” is good enough, and you do not need it to last all day.

i love this perfume by Jessica simpson. she has made some really good perfumes, so i know wheni try something from the jessica simpson line it just might be something i really enjoy. So i bought this because of my experience with her perfumes and i enjoy it very much. I bought a 1 ounce bottle but i want a 3.4 ounce bottle so i can spray freely . It smslls so heavenly. its perfect for people who love vanilla/fruity scents. I can even smell the white chocolate. It is light not very heavy at all.

  22. :

I just bought the body spray and a large tube of body lotion for $6.99 and $4.99 respectively at Marshalls and I love them both together. The body mist alone is very soft and lovely but ephemeral so adding the body lotion which is nice and luscious helps with the longevity. I do notice some fruity, floral bits in the beginning more, but the airy sweet base does last the longest so the fruit and florals might have gone to the background to tame the gourmand notes. It’s a very well blended scent with seamless transitions so it’s not that easy to distinguish the singular notes, however the overall effect is one of sweet, floral, coziness cut with a little bit of fruit in the background without being gourmand or heady floral. It has the airy, refined, texture that is hard to find in lots of perfumes that end sweet. I can’t wait to get the perfume and another back up lotion, which I love for it’s own sake as it’s not greasy and I can’t stop smelling my hands.

Reminiscent of an Amusement Park near the beach :)I get very slight soft wafts of the sweet treats they sell.
A skin scent with weak sillage but still nice to wear when I want a barely there perfume .And still I can smell my wrist for a smile !
The longevity is far better then the sillage.
Its so inexpensive its worth trying and would make a good gift, it surely won’t offend anyone .

This one makes me say “aw”. It’s so nice. It’s easy, fun and elegant. Plus that bottle is so cute.
It smells of juicy fruits in the beginning, but straight away the white chocolate, vanilla and tonka make themselves known amongst all the bright fruits. I do get a little bit of a VLJ vibe, but it’s more airy and fruity sweet.
Longevity and sillage aren’t too good, so don’t spend big bucks on this. Very glad to have this in my collection!

  26. :

This is a good one. It is very feminine and I think it is a crowd pleaser and safe. Im looking at buying it as a gift At first it is a very beautiful light tropical vanilla but not cloying or baking vanilla like Fancy. So maybe that is white chocolate. It was cleaner and not kiddyish like fantasy yet not bakery vanilla like fancy. But it was in between those two. Then it turns into this skin scent like your own skin brings out the accord smell. It was just different. Some probably may say that that part of the fragrance is synthetic like a light hairspray note. I can’t describe it but is nice. Every girl should adore this fragrance.
ADDENDUM: smelled the body spray as well and it is not true to the perfume. The body spray lacks the top vanilla tropical notes and instead just hairspray mixed with your own skin” accord.

Damn it…damn. it. First, I had to like her housewares line, (really) and now I have to admit to liking her perfume, too. JS Signature is not unattractive, with a curiously masculine edge, something Simpson herself seems to trend toward (isn’t her daughter’s name Maxwell Drew?). Believe it or not, on the right day…I might actually try this.

  28. :

    3 out of 5

I got this as a sample after buying something online. I love sweet and vanilla scents so I thought I would love this as these are two of the top notes…and I love Fancy by Jessica Simpson.
This perfume smells very floral to me and I do not detect the vanilla in it. I can’t quite place the scent but it smells like Viva La Juicy Rose a little bit.
About fifteen minutes into spraying it starts to fade and I can only detect it by bringing my wrist close to my face. I am disappointed in this because Fancy lasts much longer.
I will keep wearing the sample but I will not purchase a large bottle of this scent since it smells like so many other things to me. All in all I think it is a pretty scent but a little too floral and too light for my tastes.

  29. :

    5 out of 5

After taking paper samples, I had this one my want list. Until yesterday that is. I gave it a more proper test. I liked the opening, as it has the cozy sweetness of Fancy, but lighter. My problem is the dry down: the descriptions here is accurate- it’s citrusy. I like my base notes to be rich and deep. This one smelled like Davidoff’s Cool Water on me which is weird and not what I was expecting.. Not the worst scent in the world, just not what I want. Longevity is less than impressive.

  30. :

This fragrance was a favorite of mine last winter- I wore it for its cozy sweetness, so soft and comforting. Somehow I categorized it as a winter fragrance because of that, and haven’t pulled it out of my wardrobe in several months. However I took it out today, and there she was- the same coziness and delicious gourmand notes, but not heavy or out of place in the summer heat either.
Yum! I smell white chocolate and nectarine, sheer jasmine and sweet lily. The packaging was spot on- this fragrance evokes white feathers, soft and fluttery. Well worth a spot in my collection. Not as good on longevity as other JS fragrances, but it is softer and I don’t mind re-applying later in the day. This is a me-fragrance, one I wear when I need a hug from my collection!

At first I had liked it then tested it afew too many times, during winter and spring and got sick of it. too much vanilla. Its all vanilla to my nose and quite strong for my taste. Its a crowd pleaser – a lot of valley girls will wear it. Reminds me of other perfumes nothing special.

Takes me back to Adolfo perfume from the 80’s. Very rich and pretty, although fairly one dimensional.
Update: Smells just like Usher UR body lotion, and like the dry down of the perfume. The bottle is exquisite, can’t wait till this comes out in an X-mas set.
Update: Have they softened this up? Now it’s like Fancy Girl.

I just bought this at Ulta. It is delicious! It starts out with a citrus-apricot top note, followed by a mid note of jasmine, ending in a vanilla and sandalwood mix. And the scent lasts! The bottle is as lovely as the fragrance. So happy I got this one! It is sophisticated and lush.

Oona Noir , it reminds me of Exclamation from the early 90s.

  44. :

    4 out of 5

I bought the rollerball version of this after smelling it at Ulta and I am really pleased with the overall scent. This is Fancy all grown up and settled blissfully into life, LOL! Unfortunately, as has been previously noted, the lasting power and silage is horrible. 🙁 The rollerball has a strong alcohol smell at the beginning that quickly fades, but then the scent itself fades into oblivion after mere minutes. I can smell hints of it, but this would take serious spraying to make an impression on anyone else. I do hope a whole set comes out to help boost the fragrance projection because it is a nice scent–soft, warm, full-bodied without being loud and with a touch of sophisticated sweetness that keeps it from smelling cheap.
UPDATE: There is a holiday set, but it only has lotion and the larger size spray. Really wanting a complete set with the body wash…

  45. :

Good but too weak. This pretty scent reminds me a little bit of the kiwi-cupcake topnote of Britney Spears Fantasy-but JS Signature is less sugary sweet and it is not at all a dupe. Pretty tigerlily does appear-it is so nice. I also like how this is not too powdery. However, I am frustrated by the weak lasting power and lack of sillage. I wouldn’t want to pay full price for something I’d have to reapply every 2 hours. I’ll be waiting for this to appear at Ross. This fragrance seems so faint after 20 minutes that I’m wondering if I am anosmic to one of its notes, especially since I found the other Jessica Simpson perfumes to be wonderfully strong and long lasting.

This is a pretty scent. I was at Ulta a few days ago and stopped to smell this fragrance. Very pretty, feminine… and the bottle is gorgeous. It’s always nice to have a pretty bottle. Anyway, I liked it a lot. It’s kind of a floral, sweet, powdery scent to me. lovely.

Took a sniff and spray of this at Macy’s and just breath taking. She really out did herself with this Bottle design AND campaign. She’s so gorgeous and the scent is just so soft and beautiful. I don’t see it lasting on the body long, or holding up outside. This is DEFF a close table dinner scent, or working in a office or sales floor scent. The bottle really is stunning though, and the packaging everything is just top notch. The scent while beautiful is a bit “typical” but something just WORKS and that beautiful bottle alone is worth the purchase. I plan to purchase if I can steal a great deal on it, or wait a while till it’s cheaper…but this easily rates it’self as a 4 of 5 fragrance.

i came across this fragrance in a magazine ad. Although I love anything with Sandlewood (which is very evident in this scent). I am reminded of an industrial bathroom cleaner upon first smelling it. I hope that it is just me and that the dry down is much more floral and less citrusy.

Just got this at Ulta. They don’t have a tester, so I had to buy it sight-unsmelled, but they have a generous return policy. I don’t think I’ll be taking advantage of it, though. While it isn’t what I was hoping for, it’s quite pretty. Unfortunately I don’t smell much or any vanilla or chocolate, I think they’re just warming things up in the background, but it is a really beautiful warm floral. There’s an armful of beautiful tiger lily in it Maybe the sweeter notes will emerge with time. Love Jessica and her style, but I generally don’t like her perfumes, even though they’re gourmand, Fancy and all that has this cheapy/teenage/fruity aura about it, and this does NOT, it’s a thousand times more sophisticated than anything she’s put out before. It’s a safe bet for fruity floral lovers, who enjoy a warmed up floral base.

Jessica simpson signature is a soft creamy vanilla treat. I tried this at dillards today and let me start off by the bottle, which I think for one is stunning! it looks very classy and elegant. The scent reminds me of a tame version of viva la juicy minus that heavy cloying note in it, I like viva la juicy but I do find it to be a little much and this scent works out perfectly. I really detected the vanilla and white chocolate notes right off and it got sweeter as the day progressed. I found that it wasn’t very loud and it would be great for an office setting and such, it does smell grown up sweet and not sickly sweet over the top sweet. It reminds me of a softer version of fancy as well this would be fancy light. It had good staying power on my skin and I just tried one spray at the store and wore it home to get a feel and vibe from it and it did not let me down. I am wanting to add this to my collection as well, it just may be my favorite from her yet. Jessica has never let me down all with the exception of fancy nights, it wasn’t a bad scent just wasn’t for me. it is great to know jessica takes pride in her brand and has something for everybody =) keep up the good work!

I, too, tried this at Macy’s yesterday. After being sprayed with Hanae Mori parfum, I asked if this fragrance was in yet and to my surprise it was. The bottle is gorgeous! I love the design. The fragrance is very light and fruity with the driftwood accord hovering in the background. It reminds me of another fragrance but i can’t think what. Just reminds me of another fragrance and that may be what keeps me from jumping at this one just yet. Pleasant, fresh but not singular. I will ask for the 35ml for Christmas. That bottle is just so nice!

Tried this at Macy’s yesterday. I sprayed my inner arm, and this is a very light fragrance. Soft, warm fruity floral with a fresh and clean feel to it. I agree with the Viva La Juicy comparison only this one is quieter. It’s very pretty and could be worn anywhere, but honestly not original at all. It could be a Victoria’s Secret spray, just done with better ingredients. It did last very long and the bottom notes smelled warm & praline-ish, but I had to sniff super close to find it. Very lovely, just lost in a sea of similarity. I’d like to try it again with more sprays.
Try 2: Sprayed about 4x. Sweet, slightly powdery, creamy, fruity floral candy. Like Fancy all grown up and refined. (Not too grown up, though!)

Amazing bottle! So far all of her scents have been very good and not all are crowd-pleasers. Looking forward to this one!
PS: Stop with the voting nonsense – it HASN’T been launched yet!
