I love the smell of jasmine – it reminds me always of sunny days and happiness, it’s feminine and relaxing…
Keiko Mecheri Jasmine is absolutely natural, blooming, fresh jasmine… It would been perfect, but I had to spray an half of a sample vial for smelling it a bit and nonetheless after 2 hours it was gone …

night blooming jasmine, smells quite similar to a lot of room freshners and car freshners jasmine scents.

I’ve always enjoyed the thought of diverse perfume wardrobe and one thing I am missing is a jasmine perfume. So I was very excited to try KM JASMINE as I rarely come around jasmine perfumes these days.
Unfortunately JASMINE by KM is not going to be the jasmine I would be willing to add to my collection. I enjoy the dryness of jasmine, the animalic qualities of the plant, the intoxicating feeling it gives, unfortunately KM JASMINE lacks it all. No, don’t get me wrong, it’s not bad, it’s just not the jasmine I would like. Here it almost feels buttery, I could swear there is ylang ylang hidden + it dries down to the old soapy musk accord same to which many of Keiko Mecheri perfumes tend to dry down to.
It also has a staying power of 4 hours, then – soapy musk.

I bought the new Clair-Obscur version of this perfume and the first thing I noticed is the aldehydes and not pleasantly. However, I decided to give it another try and I’m wearing it now. It settles down into a quite definite Jasmine, if with less complexity than I’d like. It’s a keeper.

This is a heady jasmine and yet it stays close to skin.
I get a light soapy note too. The petitgrain brings a green note that stays in the background.
This smells like pure jasmine, but also a little of night blooming jasmine.

I just received a bottle of this. Apparently, KM has renamed this scent “Clair Obscur”. I had thought my bottle was sent by mistake, but I did confirm with the store and after testing this out. This is definitely a friendlier jasmine than Serge Lutens A La Nuit (which I happen to love, too). For those who want jasmine with a lighter touch, go with the KM one. For those who want a punch of jasmine, go with Serge. Both are very realistic jasmine scents that don’t have that awful underlying synthetic note that many cheap jasmine scents have. If you have to do jasmine, either buy the actual jasmine essential oil and cut it with carrier oil, or get one of the ones I’ve mentioned. But you really have to love your indolic jasmine.

There was a huge climbing Jasmine bush on the garden wall of my childhood home and the smell of it was intoxicating, beautiful. It’s a smell that brings back fond memories and is what I would describe as sweetly innocent.
This perfume is definitely Jasmine, all Jasmine, and it’s lovely. Delicate, sweet and fresh.
Definitely on my want a full bottle list.

Keiko Mecheri’s Jasmine is probably the most accurate jasmine soliflore I have ever smelled. Pure and dry with just a hint of freshness. It may not be the easiest jasmine to wear since it is so concentrated and heady but if you’re looking for a true jasmine field, this is the one. Longevity is excellent on my skin. Il lasts all day. My quest for the perfect jasmine is over.

I normally love jasmine, but this is so soliflore that there is nothing to counterbalance the decaying smell that jasmine has in the heartnotes. As the fragrance dries down the smell is very dry and a bit more palatable. You can smell the petitgrain when your hand or arm that has the scent is away from your body and it is pleasant briefly but that decayed jasmine smell is still there. This one is not for me.

Keiko Mecheri JASMINE is what I’d describe as “Jasmine on the rocks.” No mixers, no dilution, just jasmine. Very dry, icy cold jasmine. I used to think that Badgley Mischka FLEURS DE NUIT was dry. Not in a side-by-side comparison with JASMINE, which is as dry as bones. No, FLEURS DE NUIT is a lightweight, only jasminesque composition, and it even smells like a fruity floral next to this creation, believe it or not…
Do you like jasmine? That may not qualify you for this jasmine-lovers-only perfume. But if you do love jasmine, you’re bound to love this. This jasmine will separate the men from the boys, so to speak. No gardenia, no tuberose, no bells and whistles, no adulterants whatsoever, as far as I can tell. Just big, loud, dry JASMINE!!!!! Hold on to your nose!
This is a literal soliflore, so complaints about boredom are really misplaced, it seems to me. JASMINE smells very natural and perhaps for that reason unapologetic.
In conclusion, in a word: JASMINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think i must be the only one not to love this fragrance…
Yes i do smell some Jasmine, but for some reason to me it smells exactly like the self-tan spray from Garnier (the brown bottled one) and to be honest, that makes me a little nauseous…
    Not for me this one!

I really love this one in many ways: it’s longlasting, it’s true jasmin and not some sort of cheap artificial imitation, it’s elegant, it’s not too overwhelming as it would just be too easy when you wear jasmin. I must tell this is finally the jasmine I was looking for. Patou’s Joy, Creed’s Imperatrice Eugenie are wondeful scents (love and use both) but they have not the real jasmin I was looking for. If you want a scent that smells like the flower, then do not hesitate and go for this.

Love this scent for humid days and nights, or when I just want to feel ultra feminine. The jasmine is heady and light at the same time; I always get tons of compliments.

Very very sheer, and almost impossible to detect on first application. I tried it later with a much stronger application and the hint of lovely lemon-tinted Southern Magnolia (which I’d love to find for real) was gone under a heavy white floral muguet scent. The hints of green leaves and lush petals in the barely-there application were blasted out of existence with more perfume on my skin. In the end it was a Big White Floral and so strong it was like being attacked by the Bride. For those who love white florals, definitely get a hold of this, but I would suggest a medium application for best results.

KM Jasmine is my favorite Jasmine soliflore and I feel priveleged to review it.
If you are looking for a real clean clear night blooming jasmine scent, look no further. The best thing about this jasmine is that it is tue to the flower while entirely avoiding the bitter, flower-pressed-in-your-nose quality that plagues so many other jasmine (and gardenia) scents. Keiko Mecheri has captured the jasmine across the park or across the room quality of the blooms and has entirely omitted the crushed blossom bitterness. It is a living airy jasmine, young and beautiful and devoid of the hothouse claustrophobia I find in other jasmine centered eaux.
The petitgrain in this one keeps it fresh and lovely on the skin and the scent lasts on me for about 8-9 hours.
