Description

The house of Salvador Dali launches a new fragrance named ITISDREAM in March 2012, as a continuation of the story that began with ITISLOVE edition in 2008. The new fragrance promotes romance, tenderness, optimism and joy, and is intended for artistic women who love to dream.

The composition, created by perfumer Michel Almairac, is a floral – fruity – woody. Flowers symbolize gentleness, freshness and femininity. Fruits provide sparkling energy and joy, while woody notes represent sensuality and deep emotions. The scent opens with fresh and syrupy notes of grapefruit, black currant and apple. The heart features pink floral accords of rose, magnolia and hyacinth, while white cedar, amber and musk linger in the background.

The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

    oh F***
I have both It is Dream and It is Love from Dali
I bought It is Love first and I really love it
    musky and hint of fruity
    but this one, oh gosh
I smell 90% similarities with It is Love
    very musky,not sweet at all
but where are the roses the hyacinth ?
I can barely smell anything on the note
it’s just another musky fruity scent like It is Love
So i suppose maybe i got the juice in a wrong bottle
    that doesn’t make sence
    but after all it’s Dali
i am a crazy Dali fan
cannot say no to any Dali, haha
better bottle than It is Love indeed
last about 5 hours on my skin

Smells really quite similar to Ghost Cherish, not very surprising as they seem to share about 6 notes. Well, maybe this one might appear less sweet than Cherish if one really would try to find some sort of difference between the two.
Both products produce the very same effect of youthful, sweet, clean, shampoo-like scent. And both are perhaps too sweet and girly for me.
I like my scents to be delicate yet with just a bit of temper. These two are lovely, nice but not exactly it. However I like it for being so wearable and girly without being annoying.
Lasting power, projection and overall quality is good though.

This is a great quality fragrance, although it’s inexpensive. It’s memorable. Has happy, feminine and playful personality. Opens up with sweet mix of light airy floral, fruits and woody + black current tartness on the background. That tartness I like a lot, it makes the fragrance more sophisticated and even seductive. I see this one appealing more for younger women than girls. Don’t smell the rose here. Sorry, no resemblance with Chloe either. I think, you can wear it year around. Great staying power. Doesn’t turn cheep-smelling on a skin.

Continuing the line initiated in 2008 with IT IS LOVE, Salvador Dali released this version, in 2012, promising to bath the dreamy women with romance, optimism and joy.
As in the 2008 Edition, the bottle kept the same inspiration in the famous work Dali’s Lips Sofa, getting more vibrant and sensual tones and with the same bow spray guard, instead of a lid, this time engraved by crystals. And the perfumer was also the same, Michel Almairac, creator of numerous hits for Dali, Rochas, Mont Blanc, Gucci, Chloé, etc.
The fragrance is a fruity and refreshing delight that combines with the warm climate of our country. Its output notes are apple, grapefruit and blackcurrant. In the body of the fragrance, delicate floral notes of rose, Magnolia and pink hyacinth. At the base, white cedar, amber and a crystalline musk.
Basically, the fragrance maintains a linear evolution with highlight to the fruity tones. The blackcurrant, although present in the output, it is evident during a long time. The Magnolia is creamy and slightly citrus, while the rose is delicate, almost imperceptible, and without the aspect of perfumes loaded in this note. Finally, you can feel the lightness of white cedar and the cleaning nuance provided by the musk.
For women who like scents with cleansing, refreshing aspect without going to herbal nuances and that still keep the femininity, I think this perfume is quite a gem. And best of all: it is not so expensive and is easy to be found in stores.
I feel that the promise was fulfilled.

If someone needs an affordable, delicate rose scent then this is it. I see some similarity to Chloe Chloe EDP.
I am amazed, I tried quite many perfumes today and this is the cheapest but somehow also one of the best in my opinion.
I am interested what people think about sillage and longevity though.
    Nice scent for spring/summer. Enjoyable!

I didn’t expect much of this fragrance because it’s quite affordable but it’s just beautiful and smells divine on me. I got lots of compliments while wearing this. It doesn’t remind me of Chloe, which I used to wear few years ago, at all. It works fantastically with my body chemistry, leaves very clean, fresh and soapy impression and it lasts all day. Perfect choice for spring.

Citrus, apple and cedar… with a hint of musk and amber. Yet another fragrance that reminds me of D&G Light Blue. It turns a bit sour on my skin unfortunately.

The opening is like a walk through the Paradise garden- roses, magnolias, apples(fresh sourness), citruses (they emphasize the freshness), berries (for depth and passion) and some water notes ( which we can find in almost all Dali fragrances) . Then the fruit notes calm down and the flower notes become stronger ( especially rose and hyacinth notes). In the end it leaves me wrapped in a cedar and a very light musk veil.
Beautiful summer scent! I like this and probably will get this.
    It is a dream.

Great for those who are looking for a cheaper version of Chloe EDP!

A citric floral that smells pretty good at the start. I’m not getting a similarity to Chloe as some others are. I’m not getting the strong rose that Chloe has. I am getting flowers and grapefruit, which is nice, but after the top notes wear off, there is a bothersome green note that develops, causing this to become a bit too sour for me.

I am in soapy heaven! Love it! Very soapy, powdery, smells clean and fresh like nicely scented laundry, also, might be the apple but something in it smells soooo nicely romantic! Similar to Chloe-less sweet and soapier. Will make a good spring scent, but can also be a good light and clean summer fragrance. I would wear it everyday or to a date.
edit:i’d like to add that it opens sour, detergent-y, citrusy a little bit salty-the salty note Sea&Sun and Dalilight have, then it dries down to the apple and rose.
with me it stays about 2-3 hrs if i spray lightly.

One word: shampoo. Not bad, but nothing special in my book.

Tried it today. Would like to give it a second thought. First was: it smells just like Chloe Eau de Parfum 2008! As I was trying the new L’Eau Chloe 2012 as well I was a bit confused, and worring that I could have mixed up samples on my wrists. But no. ITISDREAM smells more like Chloe 2008 than its 2012 version does. Unless I did mix up the samples ;P
