This was a blind buy and I was expecting it to be heavier on the tobacco side … It smells like a sauna in some fancy 5 star hotel to me. Nothing special imo.

You will not be disappointed w/ I2W. It does share the same smell & a like performance of A*Men Pure Havane at a fraction of the cost(you get way more out of the bottle than the $20 something bucks you can pay it for). It’s long lasting & gives off just enough “beast” projection. You smell like a Mugler fragrance, hands down & you’ll never hear a complaint about smelling more synthetic than the real deal. I used to spend big dollars on the A*men fragrances throughout the 90’s/early 2000’s & I’m glad to know about this fragrance gem for under half the cost.Blind buying this one ensures that you’ll smell like one of the top male scents released in the last decade without spending the dollars it usually takes to do so.

This is a great buy has a nice spicy vanilla scent that go’s on strong and really lasts for many hours. My wife loves this on me. I prefer this over the dark version. I highly recommend this it will get you noticed.

It took a little while but, I remember spraying something very…very similar in my 1989 Chrysler LeBaron.
Smells just like a leather scented car freshener.
I purchased this fragrance online for around $19.
I have never experienced Mugler’s Pure Havane but I hope that it smells higher quality than this.
Doesn’t smell bad – but to me it smells a little cheap.

It has the Pure Havane vibe and they have done their best with trying to clone the scent, but it is in no way ‘nearly identical’. It smells very synthetic and unrefined. Synthetic is not always bad, because the Tobacco in PH is quite synthetic and pleasant, but for I2W it is bad. The opening starts with a BLAST of alcohol, where PH has a rich honey/tobacco opening. The mid is close to PH, but it only lasts for around an hour. The base is boring, flat, watery and almost non-detectable.
After smelling this, I decided to buy an actual Pure Havane back-up bottle and get rid of this watery mess.
Even for €25/90ml you can get way better quality. Almost all Mercedes Benz fragrances, most Bentley fragrances, Jil Sander: Sander for Men, Karl Lagerfeld: Bois de Vetiver, Kiton: Kiton Men have the same ml-price and are of much higher quality. So it does not justify the price, even though it is very cheap.
It is only half of PH’s current price, but it is not nearly half as good. I have deodorants that smell more refined.
    Scent: 6/10
    Projection: 4/10 (1h at 1/2 arm’s length)
    Sillage: 4/10
Longevity: 5/10 (1h soft projection and 4h-ish skin scent)
    Versatility 6/10
    Uniqueness: 1/10
    Price-performance: 5/10
    Total: 4/10

This has a gourmand spicy sweet fresh bread experience to it that nears the line of synthetic. The cherry top disappears during the drydown. For a 20 synthetic this works nice. My lady loves it. It makes me wonder if I can get this scent with better quality notes and blended better.

Oh my God! I just can’t stop smelling it, I love it. A bit spicy, woody, honey, tobacco , it’s a really seductive fragrance , pornographic stuff, very sexual in my opinion. I can’t see young men wearing it , it’s more like a fragrance for mature 25-30 +. Get it or regret it! Only £ 30 , it’s a bargain. I am going to order another bottle this day. The presentation is amazing, it looks and smells like a niche perfume. I can’t a lot about longevity, because I only tried on my arm and a paper strip but looks like it’s gonna last at least 6-7 hours.

Man, I like this one! I’m a newbie with modern cologne and found vanilla cologne first. I wanted to branch out a bit so I figured I’d try a tobacco cologne. I have to buy most things blind because of where I live (very rural) and just relied on the ratings for this one and figured I’d chance it at $20. This is very nice! No blind buy regrets here.
I smell that honey tobacco scent right away and maybe a hint of mint? I personally think I smell a bit of cocoa/chocolate as well. Wish there was a chart so I’d know for sure. If I had to describe it in one word it would be smooth. A masculine tobacco scent with honey giving it just a touch of sweetness. I tell ya, I’ve only worn it just this morning but this one is flying to the top of my pecking order. Shame it’s summer and the wrong time of the year for it because I could see myself reaching for this stuff daily. It’s not weak either and has pretty admirable projection, especially for $20. I have to wonder why this isn’t more popular. Am I missing something or just not tried enough tobacco colognes? Whatever the case, I keep smelling it on myself and smiling.
My first cologne with tobacco featured, not just an auxiliary note, and I backed into a winner. Thanks to all the Fragrantica reviewers for influencing my decision to buy this cologne.
Update: I now also own Mugler Pure Havane. I think this smells 95% the same. Not as smooth but very, very close. Then again, I don’t have a “fragrance nose.”. Meaning my nose is a bit amateurish and can’t detect subtleties so to me it’s very close. Also very, very strange but I found the notes for this elsewhere and no tobacco? I swear there’s tobacco in this!

this smells -interesting- and high quality. but its not for me. It smells incredible in the opening for like, thirty seconds. Tobacco deliciousness. And then it stops smelling like a humidor completely and starts smelling like you rubbed a bunch of expensive eyeshadow pallettes all over yourself? Waxy, smell. I wish the tobacco blast in the beginning would last longer.

I own and cherish Insurrection II Wild. But what I just don’t understand is why this fragrance is essentially “a best kept secret”?! It is very favorably compared to Pure Havane, has exceptionally-rated sillage and longevity, is notably well-blended, the price is dirt cheap, and if that doesn’t rock ones world, then how about a presentation whose bottle and packaging are niche quality. Again, just mind-boggling at how relatively few are discovering this amazing fall/winter fragrance!
    Review: Insurrection II Wild
Notes: Honey, pipe tobacco, vanilla, patchouli, amber, florals
The overall scent of I2W is generally reflective of the note structure above, while being about 90% similar to Pure Havane in my opinion. The real differences are evident at the open and within the initial stages of the drydown for each; while the later stages of their compositions are remarkably similar: I see I2W’s composition as being more blended, having a less defined/strong cherried tobacco scent, with comparatively amped up patchouli; all through its initial stages. In comparison, PH seems the more complex composition with a solid cherried tobacco scent and a bit “edgier” feel; again, throughout its initial drydown. All told, I can see how overall PH wearers might feel they have the better casual tobacco fragrance, and I2W wearers may argue their fragrance to be a bit more refined overall; while ultimately both are noticeably similar, especially beginning with the middle stage of each fragrance.
Likewise, both fragrances are a very solid 9.0 out of 10.
I personally lean towards Insurrection II Wild for its incredible value at $20+ a bottle!…..while respecting others whom may prefer Pure Havane.

Bogart Pour Homme is among my favourite scents so I just had to try Insurrection II Wild.
I have Bogart Pour Homme on one hand and Reyane Tradition Insurrection II Wild on the other. They have now dried down for about 30-40 minutes. If I close my eyes and smell both, there is a difference between them. BPH leans more toward sharp/sour with a prominent Cherry note whereas RTI2W is more smooth/sweet with ever so slightly more Tobacco. As a result RTI2W smells more similar to Burberry London for men.
RTI2W could almost pass as unisex but!!!!…..and I can’t believe I’m about to say this…..I think I do marginally prefer RTI2W. Mugler’s Pure Havane still remains the champion of the bunch but that one costs too much to justify the purchase and is difficult to find here in the UK.

i haven’t got much of compliments but people have asked what i was wearing , it smells very different from regular perfumes .
Performance & silage are superb , just 2 sprays and you can smell it all day long !

Blind bought this perfume, smell and the silage is nice, performance and longevity on me is above the chart nice to use in the climate here in manila Philippines.

Hey, the performance of Insurrection II wild is very bad, close to skin 🙁 It’s a pity that I bought this instead of another bottle of Pure Havane. The top smell of Havane is more rafined than Reyane, the drydown is very similar, pleasant cherry cigar smell. I like it, but I’d rather choose Havane for 45 euro, Reyane was 35 with postage.

  15. :

A great cheapie with great performance, the cherry note is what stands out the most.. great for the fall & winter. This is a must have if you can’t grab Pure Havana 8.3 out of 10

I really don’t know what the hype is with this. This is a very particular scent that isn’t for everyone.
The opening – Smells like you smoked cigars from inside a walk in humidor. The opening is strong and could be offensive if the scent of tobacco/cigars is not your thing.
The dry down – it does sweeten up a bit, but it’s still a very tobacco based scent. After the first hour of the strong opening, It transitions and becomes this herbal/medicinal vibe. Then eventually after hour #2 is where it tames out and becomes tolerable and more wearable like a generic winter warm scent.
Trust me…this is an acquired scent to like. I can’t see how any woman would like the opening, but perhaps the drydown is more non-offensive. I won’t bash it and say it’s a bad scent…..it’s just a very aquired scent that takes a very particular man who will enjoy this.
Would I buy this again? Heck no.
Would I recommend this to a friend? Not really (unless they were a cigar lover)

WOWSERS!!!!! I bought this for my son but I have to admit, I totally wear this as ‘My” perfume. I just cannot believe the pure, divine scent this is. I am totally obsessed with it. My son also had a co-worker ask what cologne he wears as she loves the way he smells and wanted to buy it for her husband.
Accurate descriptions of the scent?? I really get a Cola smell from this, imagine the classic Cherry Coke or gourmet cola bottle gummy candies – BUT WAIT! there’s the tobacco aspect to this too. A nice classic, pipe by a warm fire type tobacco.
I just can’t get enough of this gem. The price is absolutely incredible for the performance and longevity of this master piece – UNBELIEVABLE!! I cannot imagine anyone not completely falling for this scent, truly magnificent!

Tobacco, Vanilla, Honey and Cocoa well blended to pleasure everyone’s nose. I am just gessing the notes by sniffing it in my arm.
Although I have 2 full bottles of Pure Havanne, I keep this bottle of Insurrection II wild “just in case” I want to save my TMugler bottles. Yes, this fragrance is that good!

  20. :

    5 out of 5

I believe the reviews below claiming this smells like cherry cough syrup are for DARK not WILD. This does NOT smell at all like cherry. It’s more of a sweet, tobacco and burnt sugar scent. It’s like CK One Shock and Thallium Black had a baby. It’s like holding an expensive, unlit cigar under your nose and taking a deep breath while in a Cinnabon bakery.
That initial sweetness gives way to a light, creamy tobacco that isn’t the in-your-face assault that other tobacco colognes can have. It smells more complex and refined than its price would suggest.
If you like sweet gourmand or tobacco scents, then this is great! If you liked Thallium, Thallium Black, Rochas Man, CK One Shock, CK Dark Obsession, or similar fragrances, give this a shot. It’s unique enough to stand on its own and the beautiful bottle and nice book-like packaging really enhances the presentation.
Simply put, this cheap cologne exceeded my expectations. 5/5

I personally got this yesterday, was quite excited but fairly let down.
Definitely a quality scent, just not for me. It gives me a strong grandma/grandpa vibe and that could be just me. It’s still a safe blind buy because it’s $15.
Could always make a decent gift especially with the very nice presentation I just wouldn’t personally give it too anyone under the age of 40.
Opening – Cherry is VERY dominant, once that settles down it becomes better but not great in my honest opinion.
Length/Sillage – Tough to say in just a few uses but definitely lasts a while and is rather potent, sillage is strong for an hour or more. Once again I have not had extensive experience these are just first impressions after a few uses.
All in all I would say it’s somewhere between a 5.5-6.5 for me personally. The Cherry seems almost like grenadine syrup and is just too strong for my nose.

  22. :

    5 out of 5

When I spray this on I get the cherry tobacco mixed with some honey and some vanilla. Not quite gourmand but close. I love the scent. Great for going out to the bar for a few drinks and even the ladies will like it as long as you know how to wear it. It can be cloying if you go too heavy on the trigger. Very happy with this scent.
    I give it an 8.5/10

  23. :

This along with its brother insurrection purie II are quite possibly the best $20 you can spend on a full size 3.4oz bottle of cologne (unfortunately can’t say the same for insurrection dark). I bought several backup bottles as I never want to run out of these two in the unlikely event they decide to discontinue them. 10/10 masterpiece in scent/performance/value. It’s on par with the best designer frags and if a niche house slapped a $200 price tag on it, it would be a number one seller like PDM Layton, and yet it’s only a tenth the cost. Grab a bottle, you won’t be disappointed

I read so many great reviews, so I figured i had to try it. I HATE this fragrance so much! It makes me feel like i need to throw up whenever i wear it. It smells exactly like cherry cough syrup, NOT flattering. Plus, mine only lasted on my skin for about 4 hours before it disappeared completely. I will not be buying another, and will probably just give away. 3/10 fragrance for me

Reyanne Tradition did excell with this fragrance.
Insurrection II Wild is a quality bang on clone of Mugler Pure Havane. I bought it due to the dificulty (price and availability) on buying the Mugler cologne (even if I have a full bottle). I confess that I did not expect to encounter such a high quality in this cologne. Just because of my Insurrection II Wild impression, I already bought Insurrection II Dark.
Insurrection II Wild is less unisex than Pure Havane – I do find it a bit spicier and less sweet.
It´s a male scent, sweet and creamy (honey!, vanilla! and dark chocolate notes?), balsamic and ambery (amber? stirax? patchouli?) and a bit manly (glorious tobbaco note!).
This fragrance presents an outstanding value for money. I’ll explain this with my ratings:
My rates for Insurrection II Wild:

(my judgement, as an Oriental Aromatic fragrance)
    – Longevity:……………….8.5

    – Compliments……………9.0
(very serious compliment grabber; It’s a head turner!)
    – Uniqueness:……………8.5
(not a 10 because it’s very similar to Pure Havane, but costs 4 times less)
    – Quality:……………………8.5
(does not smell cheap; excelent sprayer; All the compliments/comments I received must mean something)
    – Presentation:…………..8.5
(very nice bottle, very classy box)

Fabbri’s Morello and Mint-infused honey blends
First off, I won’t say a thing about A*Men Pure Havane similarities given that despite it is on my wishlist, I miserably never had a chance to test it yet. Having said that, Insurrection II Wild by Reyane Tradition cologne, according to what I feel and smell, fits well under Oriental-Gourmand group. It opens on my skin with a mixture of Morello cherries syrup and mint-infused honey. The Morello is a variety of sour cherries that is so dark-skinned, it is almost a mahogany red, with dark red flesh and dark juice inside. Sometimes Morello cherries are so dark red that they are almost black in color. I know Morello cherries very well since in Italy we have Amarena Fabbri company, whose syrup is the heart of a company that has a great story to tell. This syrup is made from fruits pitted and then candied in the syrup and is ideal for decorations or fillings with any dessert. The tart of these fruits is present in almost all the lifetime of this scent. That’s the opening.
After a while, a green sharp tobacco note emerges, but not offensively like a cigarette on the street, rather gently, with pride and elegance typical of the finest Cuban cigars. I almost get a caramel scent as well, and over time this beautiful cologne dries down to a deep tobacco, spicy, and woody combination that is exquisite. It’s truly lovely, highly unusual, perfect for a business day as well as a night out.
The heart goes on with a sour leathery accord blended with vanilla spice, like if you were wearing a leather jacket with pockets filled with patchouli leaves and vanilla sticks. Yeah, you are right, it isn’t listed in the notes, rather I also detect a hint of vanilla which provides an extra creamy and powdery smoothness. Oh, what a damn good sensation! It’s so full-bodied, gourmand and woody essence of birch is wonderfully unique and bold.
I seem that, once this scent takes off, it remains in this state of bittersweet warmth forever. If you’re anything like me, you just can’t help but to continually sniff your wrist while wearing this. The dry-down is this bittersweet, raw vanilla, resinous amber, with a sharp ash accord. Not a wet, damp, dirty ash, but dry and powdery cigar ashes, a Cuban cigar! It sounds nasty but I think it smells so good.
Despite being sweet with notes of honey, rose, vanilla, and amber, RTIW is certainly masculine. This is how it differs from other tobacco vanilla scents on the market which are sweet and oftentimes more feminine and “round”. The herbal and green tobacco note together with the earthy and bitterness of patchouli make it more masculine. Whoa, this is the top, it fades and most of the wear is a vanilla-patchouli tobacco. Just get it if you like tobacco fragrances. Instead, if this doesn’t sound like your kind of thing, look elsewhere. However, if you like rich and masculine scents, then RTIW is a masterpiece of a fragrance.
Thankfully RTIW is an EDP, which has wonderful sillage and longevity. Sillage is just right, it isn’t overwhelming but it is on the strong side of things. It doesn’t require that many sprays to be effective, which is a relief with so many weak colognes out there. It also has really good longevity, this is an all-day kind of scent for both the workweek and weekend. However, be aware that it is much more of a skin scent after 5-6 hours but with a reasonable application it should still be noticeable. Suitable for both day and evening wear, Insurrection II Wild is a great choice for a signature scent, best if worn during cold weather from late Autumn thru all early Spring.
My last words, It is so good and something that I’d wear frequently. As I said, I can’t stop sniffing my wrist when wearing it!

Reyane Tradition Insurrection II Wild is really a nice pick-up. I have a 10ml decant and eventually I will need to get a full bottle. I’ll get into why I haven’t later.
There are no given notes for Insurrection II Wild. The only Insurrection I have seen with an actual note breakdown was Insurrection II Pure. That said, I get cherry tobacco, honey, cacao and bourbon vanilla. These are the main four notes I can truly detect in Wild. This means it is indeed like Pure Havane since these notes are the strongest in that fragrance. I only smelt it once and Wild is pretty close but maybe more candied.
Insurrection II Wild performs really good. It projects for about three hours on me and lasts ten hours in total. It is a fall and winter day or winter scent. It works in work and casual settings, maybe dates too though you may run into an issue of it being synthetic.
I do think that Insurrection II Wild is good but to me, it is really close to four scents, three of which I own. I already mentioned Pure Havane, which most people do. I notice some Animale Animale for Men in it with the heavy honey, vanilla and tobacco notes. I also notice some Cuba Paris Cuba Prestige with its gourmand notes. Finally, the other one I notice is Bath & Body Works Mahogany Woods with it’s boozy vanilla kind of sort of gourmand fragrance especially as it becomes a skin scent. I love it and own two bottles of this discontinued beauty.
I rate Reyane Tradition Insurrection II Wild an 8.0 out of 10. I think it is a stronger Mahogany Woods with Pure Havane’ s tobbaco and honey, but honestly it smells a little too synthetic and flat for me. It is great for the price, but not if Mahogany Woods and/or Pure Havane are in your collection, unless you want to wear therm more and in the case of Mahogany Woods, have a limited amount of back-up bottles. Don’t get me wrong, I will get this when my decant is out, but I doubt that I will be crushing it.

What a great value! Great scent, great performance, low price. Like Heifrank says, it is rich, warm and sexy. But it isn’t in your face sexy, more a slow burn sexy. There is a freshness added to the tobacco and honey which prevents it from being too cloying. Can’t get enough of this one!

This is what I call a clone, something so close to another fragrance that it’s almost impossible to pull apart. If you love Pure Havane and want a inexpensive alternative, then this is the one. I don’t use the word cheap, because the fragrance isn’t cheap, its all class. The price is cheap.
Everything said about Pure Havane can be said about this, if you love your sweet tobacco scent then this is collection worthy. Even if you keep Pure Havane for special occasions and this as your daily driver.
Pure Havane does however edge ahead in quality ingredients and blend, and a better tabacco note.

Amazing scent! I have a large collection with many expencive fragrances. But this cheapie is one of my favourites. This fragrance makes me so happy, both because of the smell and that high quality can be found to low price. Smelling it right now, its beautyful, rich and warm, but it also has a fresh sexyness to it. To the price, this is a masterpiece in my opinon.

I blind bought this fragrance last week for 20.00 Euros. It is my first Reyane EDT.
It turned out to be a lot better than I expected. Actually is an awsome fragrance. I do have Pure Havane in my top 5 and I think that Insurrection II Wild will make its way to my top 5 as well and replace Pure Havane. That’s how much I love the Reyane fragrance.
Yes it is similar to Pure Havane, but not really a clone. I judge it to be a bit more masculin with a stronger tobacco note and a fainter vanilla and cherry.
I like its overload of heavy tobacco sweetened by honey with vanilla in the background. Notes of cherry and jasmin add some more sweetness, and sandalwwod adds a woodsy vibe.
It attracts a lot of attention everywhere due to the marvelous scent, good sillage (6 feet) and projection (4 hours +). It lasts 14 hours + in my skin. My wife loves it.
Do not use it with hot weather but it’s a fantastic scent to use everywhere with mild/cold weather.
    It is a compiments champion.

This is a fantastic fragrance. It smells a lot like honey and a ton like cherries, and the tobacco is the base that ties them together. However, one spray does the trick. If over sprayed it is cloying — to the point where people will assume you couldn’t possibly have done this to yourself and you must have gotten into an accident with a pipe tobacco truck. But, if used sparingly, you and those around you will constantly be sniffing and wondering how something can possibly smell so good.

Just blind bought this online. I really love it. It is a sort of sweet smelling cologne. No idea what is in it but for me, I smell vanilla, faint tobacco, a bit of Rochas Man, a bit of YSL La Nuit De L’Homme and maybe hint of black licorice all blended together. It stands alone as it’s own unique fragrance. Will buy again. Seems to have good staying power as well.

Hi friends, right now I am obsessed with tobacco notes. I love Burberry London but find it boring for day 2 day, I like ck shock and d&g the one but find them sweet and at times hardly smelling like tobacco. I tried varvatos vintage and loved it but more for the drakkar dryness of it. My research brought me to tm pure havane. Not being able to find it in stores I went back and picked up wild because of the community’s comments on the likeness and because of the 30$ tag. Result: omg loving it!
I get sweet Tobacco notes with slight vanilla-sandalwood and cherry notes. It reminds me of pipe tobacco and that’s what I was looking for.
Definitely good value for money. Definitely a winning scent. Hardly synthetic as compared to lower end main stream houses like azzaro, ck, perry, puig etc.
P.s I didn’t look very hard for pure havane because I didn’t enjoy A men. I found it overpowering and sickly sweet.

So, up until a couple months ago, my collection of colognes consisted of light, sweet, summery scents (ADG, Versace Eau Fraiche, Versace Blue Jeans)… so when a coworker of mine gave me a little atomizer of Pure Havane, I was absolutely hooked. Since A*Men’s flankers are normally around $90 USD, I searched the internet up and down for a cologne that emulated PH and didn’t drain my bank account, then I stumbled upon this.
After extensive reading on fragrantica, I decided to purchase a bottle of Insurrection II Wild.
When I received the cologne, I slid the bottle out of the, honestly, impressive box and immediately gave myself a spray on the neck. I was not disappointed. It’s plenty of projection, it lasts on my skin until I hop in the shower after a long day of work (I kid you not, 13 hours later), and the smell never comes off as synthetic or cheap. My wife likes it too, and that’s saying something, because she’s usually only into aquatics.
I love this stuff, and this is honestly signature scent material.

Pro tip: Spray this on CLEAN polyester under armor shirts and then put another shirt over the top, it will last all day between the two shirts, and leave sillage behind you while you walk for 8+ hours.
Excellent scent, leaves the best sillage when used properly. I honestly didn’t know how good this smelled on me personally for 6 months, but a colleague smelled it on me and asked where to buy himself a bottle. I’ve been smelling him constantly for the past few months and every time he’s told me it was Insurrection Pure ii.. he was wrong, he owns Wild as well as Pure, he was calling Wild, Pure.. anyway, it was WILD he was wearing every single time I notice him, and complimented him.. I personally don’t feel like this scent lasts very long on me here in SLC on my skin, but it works great on fabric.
Anyway, we have developed a 4 spray all day system involving the under armor shirts, and we live at high altitude here in Utah where it’s dry as hell.
10/10.. this smells much better to other people than it does to yourself, and the opening is the best part, the opening lasts much longer on fabric.. I tested it on cotton undershirts, and it’s not as good as a polyester under shirt followed by a cotton shirt on top.

At the risk of sounding corny: Insurrection Wild is one of those fragrances that can transform you to another time or place.
No matter where I am, or what I’m doing, I’m experiencing more than just the sweet tobacco aroma, the 6 hour plus longevity with 3 foot plus initial projection. I am taken back to a favorite grandfathers or uncles den where I can relax while being regaled with tales of yore. Or I could be spending a relaxing, pleasant weekend afternoon in a small town magazine/tobacco shop browsing through a selection of magazines, the depth of which puts most common stores to shame. I’m enjoying the selection with the pleasant aroma of sweet pipe tobacco wafting about from behind the counter.
I don’t have “Pure Havane” as a convenient reference point. I do know that I like “IW” on its
