Description

The new limited edition of Curious is sweet and sexy, romantically pink and dangerously black. The composition is a sensual mixture of vanilla and musky notes, crème brûlée and night orchid. It opens with juicy notes of loquat fruit. The heart harmonizes midnight orchid, crème brûlée, black vanilla bean and tonka crystals. The base notes are sugared sandalwood and musk. It was created by Claude Dir in 2006.

Yesterday we had beautiful weather, it was 26, nice and sunny.
As night arrived, the weather still remained warm, with a little breeze.
To me it was perfect, I was heading out & couldn’t decide what to wear..
My nose picked up a whiff of vanilla.. I was in my room at the time.. Strange..
It reminded me of in control, so I thought, why the heck not take it out and spray it?
I went with a good 12 sprays, it stuck to me like glue, I was surrounded with the aromatic vanilla I longed for this winter, but in control didn’t deliver it.. I had put it away.
But last night, was a gorgeous springs night.
This worked the magic I longed for❤️
how much I’ve frekkin missed it❤️
Sillage was good for 3-4 hours.
Longevity I was catching whiffs this morning 😉

Mmmm… Sweet and yummy fragrance from Britney Spears. No floral-fruity this time but a sweet-balsamic one. Nice! I mostly get vanilla, honey and tonka. In the drydown there’s some orchid, musk and sandalwood. I also get a nice sweet creamy peach in this, although that’s not listed in the notes.
Great perfume but sadly with a bad performance. Sillage is very soft and it lasts no longer than 1-2 hours.

I got a tester from fragrance net and maybe it had gone bad? Because every other scent I’ve tried from Britney has at least had a level of complexity for better for for worse. This scent was just terrible. Simple. Really didn’t smell like anything I could put my finger on. It was extremely light and fleeting. The original curious and original Fantasay are anything but light and fleeting. They have strong personalities. Curious in control smelled like a waste of time. Maybe it has just not aged well, but it was a waste of a purchase

    The bottle:
Looks like the original curious bottle love the style and the color gives off the vibe on what this perfume is going to smell like.
    Inside the bottle:
Sweet, sensual & dark are the words to describe this perfume. When sprayed you get a strong sweet vanilla scent along with a light scented tonka beans. When it dries out comes the fruity and orchid scent but the main note that really pops out is the vanilla. Longevity is okay will last at least half the day.Sillage I would say it would be moderate.
    Overall:
This perfume is great for someone who enjoy’s dark & sweet scents. This scent might be a little too much for someone who is very sensitive.

There’s a Nordstrom store where one entrance lets you in right in between the men’s shoes, and the men’s cologne. This smells like the hit I get when I walk in that store. Shiny clean brand new polished shoes and an amalgam of men’s fragrances.
I found this unisex. Someone in these reviews mentioned raisins. That mixed fruit note…like a cooked compote…is not my favorite.
This could pass for much more expensive than it is. In fact, something in it reminds me of a Xerjoff, and they’re $300 a bottle. It’s not bad, it’s just not for me. I guess I prefer more girly-girl fluffy fragrances. I’m sticking with Private Show.

It’s not a perfect dupe of Viktor & Rolf’s Bonbon, but it’s pretty close. Just like Britney’s Fantasy perfume, Curious In Control a powerful smell that sticks to your skin. Curious in Control out lasted Bonbon for me. The scent reminds me of a candy store.

Oh my goodness. This just arrived in the mail today and it’s exactly what I wanted. My all-time favorite perfume is bonbon but I work from home so on the days where I’m not going to be in contact with anyone I want to wear perfume that I don’t want to waste my bonbon. In my opinion this smells so much like Bonbon that I don’t know if I could tell the difference. It’s that similar. For $20 for the big bottle you can’t beat the price. This might be the best celebrity perfume I’ve ever tried. Love it

I bought this having smelled BonBon at Ulta and was hoping for a dupe. I don’t own Bonbon but I don’t know if this would stand out to me as being super similar. I mostly smell like a sweet vanilla but with a background fruityness..almost like raisins? I do like it overall though I’d probably rate it a 7/10.

I had bought a small bottle of this years ago and was disappointed that I could barely pick up a scent at all! I guess I had gotten an older bottle or perhaps a watered down bottle. I decided to try and go for this bottle again and I must say I’m getting the full scent this time around! I had a pretty bad experience with Jessica Simpson’s Fancy perfume. For Jessica’s perfume I could only pick up this cheap vanilla smell. For Britney’s ICC perfume I pick up this pleasant vanilla smell. It smells so beautiful and I think it’s the safer choice for those that got burned by Jessica’s Fancy perfume.
The black bottle is so pretty and especially since I have it paired up with my white Intimate Fantasy bottle and my red Hidden Fantasy bottle.
I look at Britney’s perfume line and I must say I’m puzzled that the Fantasy line gets all the love. Don’t get me wrong, Britney’s got some wonderful perfumes in that line. Just seems weird that the Curious line, Radiance line and Believe get pushed off to the side.

The sandalwood in this one is absolutely gorgeous, it’s a creamy one that holds the rest of this yammie creme brule in place. Only one minus, that is the longevity. I get hardly 2,5 hours.

This is such an addictive scent. I much prefer to to the rest of Britney’s line. It’s sweet but not cloying, it has a boozy quality to me that makes it smell like a creamy vanilla licquer. It lasts all day on clothes but doesn’t project alot. I keep wanting to sniff my shirt when I spray this. I will buy again when I run out.

This doesn’t remind me of Bonbon, I think it smells like a blend of Britney Spears Private Show and maybe Atelier Vanille Insensee. The cedar that I pick up here and there almost puts this in the same category with Shawn Mendes Signature, which is a little too masculine and unwearable. Almost but not quite. It can be saved by layering with something fresher. A possible repurchase.
Update: 6-5-18 I do like it even though it smells strong and stale at the same time. My husband recently admitted that he really likes this scent so I will keep it around for him.
Update: 6-8-18 I think that this smells/wears better when application is dabbed rather than sprayed. I have decanted some of this into an empty mini rollerball to ensure perfect application.
Update: 9-24-18 I revisited this fragrance today because the temperature was much cooler than it has been in quite a while, so I wondered if that would change my opinion of this fragrance…it did, but I think my opinion changed because my bottle was rancid. Let me warn you, if you think that your bottle has spoiled, toss it because this is a funk that lingers, you really don’t want this to touch you at all.
If you like this, you should try:
    ~Shawn Mendes Signature~
    ~Aquolina Gold Sugar~

Yes, this is sweet and vanilla-heavy, but I don’t think it’s just ‘sugar water’ which I get from a lot of sweet fragrances, including a number of Britney’s other offerings, which are generic at least on my skin. This is one is a bit musky and spicy, which is makes it balanced. On me, the lasting power is general a whole work day.
(Haven’t tried Bonbon, so can’t compare.)

  14. :

    3 out of 5

A weak, watered down version of Bonbon by V&R. Not worth it if you’re looking for a dupe, just save up and buy Bonbon instead. No lasting power at all, after an hour it was undetectable on my skin. Bonbon lasts all day though!
What a shame, I really love Britney fragrances.. usually they perform well.

This smells so good. Sweet & vanilla. Its a very unique scent as well. It doesnt last on me tho. I only get about 3 hours. This would def be a rebuy for me if it lasted a little longer but I just cant deal with the bad longevity.

OMG ! such a wonderful scent!
the tonka beans and can sweets together create a coffee-like scent in the beginning
    but that doesn’t last long
i can say 10 minutes top
    then the orchid comes out
    quite dominant
    and it stays that way
    quite long lasting
this is so much better than the original curious which is aquatic and too innocent in my mind
this one is a bit flirty and mature
    6-8 sprays in winter days
and you’ll feel the winter holiday spirit

One of my all time favorite Britney fragrances!
I’m wearing it right now and I always get very sweet and caramel, with black licorice and coffee. Plus this is great for the winter, it reminds me of winter mornings; the sun isn’t up and it’s lightly snowing and everyone’s on their way to work or school.
    Great buy too! ❤️❤️❄️

Oh my gosh this smells SO GOOD! I get vanilla, and kinda a light coffee bean smell. This perfume makes me want to run to Starbucks! It is so yummy! I do find myself having to reapply after a few hours, but that’s not a huge deal breaker for me. I always get compliments when i wear this baby!

  19. :

    4 out of 5

The best Britney perfume ever made. I have almost all of her fragrances and the only way I can describe this fragrance is a sexy seductive mysterious Barbie. The Tonka bean gives the wearer a feminine Barbie smell. Creamy, vanilla, musky, floral, in offensive, also doesn’t smell like alcohol at all.

  20. :

I love this. I had been meaning to get it for a long time. I guess it is kind of a combination of Fantasy and Curious. Overall, I think Britney makes the best celebrity perfumes next to Paris Hilton (yeah I said it!). J-lo has a couple of good ones but I sense more of a disconnect between the perfume and the celebrity for a lot of celebrity fragrances especially lately you wonder if they even smell them before releasing. Britney’s perfumes leave you feeling like she is actively involved and they tend to represent her well and have become classics for the most part like Elizabeth Taylors.

Thanks to the kindness of a fellow member, I recently added In Control to my fragrance wardrobe. Let me tell you about my new found delight….
First off – yes, this is more or less body spray concentration. But I wear body spray all the time and enjoy it very much.
The bulky bottle is crazy – a purple UFO! However, if you can find the space, no problem. After all, body sprays aren’t space savers or beauty queens either and we still purchase them. This won’t set you back much money and might even prove to be a favorite.
OK, so I first wore In Control over a holiday when I was sure no one would notice – too many good cooking smells from the kitchen, right? Wrong. I was complemented consistently when I thought the scent had utterly vanished. It lingers on clothes and hair, softly but persistently, for hours and hours.
On first try, I genuinely liked In Control. Now – after several days wear – a new favorite! Gorgeously blended, soft, and beautiful.
My best summary would be Purple Orchids, Musk, and Caramel, perfectly melded into a light balsamic elixir. The gentle cloud of scent surrounding me is more Oriental than Gourmand, but a very sweet Oriental at that. Fruity notes are indistinct and mild, adding to the purple feel but not clamoring for attention themselves.
In Control has now rocketed from ‘like’ to ‘love’ and gives me a great deal of olfactory pleasure. Overall, not a bad feat for a ‘mere’ Celeb scent!

I’m so glad I was able to find this on amazon for 18 bucks ! this is one of britney spears best fragrances. It’s creamy, sexy and alluring. I agree that it doesn’t stay on as long as her others but I find it doesn’t give me a headache sometimes like fantasy does. I remember smelling this back in the day and actually liking it the best of her releases at that time. I wish she did more curious flankers but sadly they aren’t as popular as the fantasy collection. The bottle is beautiful, I love the black and pink detail.

This was a blind buy for me… I find that it lasts very long on my clothes, but not on my skin sadly…It’s a pleasant, barely-there scent. It reminds me of when I tested Prada Candy actually…. I may be way off? But it’s subtle, sweet and caramel-y in that way. I like it, but won’t repurchase. I think Prada Candy was too expensive for what you get IMO, and even this one being so cheap just doesn’t make the cut due to poor longevity and sillage. I douse myself in this every time I wear it.

  24. :

This is one of my staples. I’ve gone through several bottles and I just can’t seem to be without it. It’s mysterious, I don’t get many florals although what I do get is slightly fruity with crene brulee as the prominent note. A bit boozy on initial application, a good thing in my opinion, that booziness soon fades and I get the caramel goodness smell. This was one of Britney’s earlier scents and it seems like she got it right in the beginning. I’m not a huge fan of the hundred fantasy flankers ( except Maui fantasy which should be a stand alone frag) or the doubling of some scents she has done but I love this!

  25. :

    5 out of 5

This is sexy, fruity, sweet, musky, very nice. ZERO lasting power on my skin; fortunately, spritzing into hair and on clothing keeps it detectable for a few hours. IF it had better sillage, projection, and longevity, I’d like it a lot more.
    Scent: 9/10
    Performance: 2/10
Worth the extremely small price but not worth a repurchase IMO.
I’m about the furthest thing from a “snob” about perfume you’ll ever find but, dammit, I expect it to perform!

  26. :

On me this smells like tiramisu! Sweet, milky, slightly boozy vanilla coffee. It really is quite lovely, a very comforting, cosy scent. Unfortunately this is one of the worst perfumes I have ever tried for longevity, it’s completely undetectable on me in under an hour. Such a shame. Thankfully I can still get some use out of it, because it’s such a comforting scent it’s nice to spray on before going to bed.

Okay, so I wrote A review of this when I first got it back in May. It is now September and I feel like it deserves a new review. Originally, I could not smell it at all. There was brief whiff of a boozy sweetness, then nothing.
Today, I tried it again, just because. I put on a few liberal sprays about 2 pm. It is now 5:30 pm, and it is still going strong. For the first hour, it was a sweet crème brûlée type of scent. Now, it has morphed into a peachy, vanilla and I love it. It is almost a skin scent at this point, but given that I couldn’t smell it at all several months ago, I’ll take it!
There is something a little smokey underneath the entire fragrance that sets it apart from just a generic “sweet” smell.
For the record, I am 39 and I wear a huge variety of fragrances. Where what you love, regardless of age or gender.

  28. :

    4 out of 5

Smokey sexy young vanilla, I love this sent but it’s too bad that it doesn’t last!!! I feel like it has a young vibe to it cause the vanilla is not very complex like say Armani si, and the smokey Creme brûlée note is also not nearly as smokey, sexy and dark as La nuit Tresor. Another reason I feel like this perfume screams young because it doesn’t have very serious performance. Also my sprayer is weak and only puts out a half spray and so I end up spraying it 15 times per application. I think it’s because the bottle is so squat and the tube is short. I still like it though and use it when I’m at home and not worried about longevity.

  29. :

    4 out of 5

In Control is an absolutely wonderful smell! Sweet yet luxe, not at all tacky, and with perfectly balanced floral and gourmand elements. It would perhaps be my favorite Britney Spears perfume but for the fact that it’s so, so weak, even for the price, and we all know that other Britney scents are just fine in that regard. It’s really disappointing when that happens… SJP’s Twilight is another example.

  30. :

    5 out of 5

LOVE it! Sweet sweet sweet! Smells kind of sophisticated and definitely not cheap. I guess they don’t make it anymore, because the bottle I bought in March was made in 2012 according to its batch code. So I’ll have to use it up fast, although I’d like to save it, because it’s just that good.

  31. :

    4 out of 5

I generally like Britney Spears line of perfumes: they usually give you value for your money, great scents with good longevity for good prices. This is one of my favourites, except for the longevity (3/4 hours on my skin, generally BS perfumes reach the 7 hour-mark and some stay for 12 hours), but the aroma is exquisite.

  32. :

    5 out of 5

Decided to continue the review for the sake of this fragrance that I really like – so nothing of the misunderstood earlier comments of mine affect how the scent is perceived. I mean that sometimes we, “adults”, can be put in the circumstances where we have to wear status clothes and perfumes. A college student won’t be judged if she smells like a sugary compote but a professional in some professional settings might be. It’s like a dress code: we can have our own taste and celebrate it but certain settings might restrict our “freedoms” in some ways. The same can be true in regards to perfumes, and that’s when people have issues with celebrity perfumes. I personally don’t care and wear them regardless but do understand when some of us have to go for “status” or “propriety” in their fragrance choices. So: Curious in Control is not a “high end status perfume”
    – and why would it be – but it’s not childish or young. It’s fun, comforting and has this playful dessertness in it. Maybe if “status people” smell it on you, they’ll go for a dessert soon after.

  33. :

Soccorrosouza, did you give a fragrance review or a review of my review?..

  34. :

    3 out of 5

Aromatyu, where did you get that “older persons” are status seeking people? Younger people, everyone has a bit of this characteristic, everyone wants to be noticed and respected and even envied, not only “older persons”.In fact I find that the older I get the less I care about what others will think. Now I care more about what MY values are and acting on them. The critique was on point I just am sad that age-ism is so entrenched.
Never mind, everybody gets old, as you will soon find out.

  35. :

    5 out of 5

This is a true dessert scent: not a mix with fruit or flowers. And nothing childish like cupcakes or flavored soda. As somebody wrote earlier – it’s an “adult dessert”. That moist cake soaked in liquor. It’s not a boozy smell, however, it stays right on the dessert lane. It’s deep but wearable in summer as well. For longevity I spray it on hair and clothes. It won’t smell designer or expensive (if you care because you’re an “older” person) but it won’t present you as “mommy steals her teen daughter’s body spray” either. The scent has maturity to it in a different way, mostly because of tonka bean, orchid and sandalwood. For those of us who find so much needed comfort in dessert perfumes.

  36. :

    5 out of 5

I want to love this. What I can smell of it is actually pretty amazing. It’s more mature than I expected, boozy fruits and vanilla. Unfortunately, it does not last longer than 30 minutes and has no projection on me. I thought maybe I was asnomic but I asked several people and they couldn’t smell it on me, either.
I highly recommend you try it. It seems there are only a few of us that this does not last on, so hopefully you’ll be one of the many that it does.

  37. :

If you are a fan of dessert perfumes, than you will absolutely love this one! I think this is the most dessert like of all Britney’s perfumes. This scent reminds me of fresh baked cupcakes. The vanilla and creme brulee notes are present and do not disappoint. Even though it’s sweet, it’s not insanely overpowering which I appreciate. This was definitely a big change from the original curious, and to me it always seemed like it belonged more in the Fantasy line. I just wish this one wasn’t discontinued. Britney please bring this one back! It’s a dessert lovers dream perfume.

  38. :

    3 out of 5

This was a blind buy for me. I could never find it anywhere to try it out, so I took a chance and ordered it online. I already loved several of the Britney Spears fantasy fragrances, at the time.
I think it is by far the best Britney Spears fragrance to date.
This is a true gourmand. The sillage is a little low, but that makes it perfect for the daytime if you are not into that super strong, almost intoxicating gourmand smell in the day but still want to smell sweet of creme brulee and vanilla. At first spritz I can smell the fruity notes quite clearly, but that fades away gradually and after 20 min, all that’s left is the beautiful vanilla, tonka bean and creme brulee.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t stay on my skin. A couple of hours and it’s gone, so I have to keep spraying throughout the day.
This is a really good gourmand for the price, as is it a celebrity perfume. I Just wish it had more staying power.

In control, you are a dream!
    So sweet, so creamy.
Vanilla is my favourite note & you are full of it ❤
This is by far one of the best vanilla fragrances I’ve owned.
Let me also add that I’ve got 2 back-ups 🙂
yes I love it that much!!
When I have this on I feel so warm and cozy, I love the way it makes me feel.
My sweet pleasure, you are perfect.
    Longevity: 6-7 hours.

It’s Betsy Johnson perfume without the Praline note. Super sweet syrupy fun. I love wearing this in the winter holiday months. It smells down right edible.

  42. :

Reminds me of a toned down version of Bonbon, not quite as ERRRMAGERRRD PEACHES AND CARAMEL BUKKAKE (sorry for the imagery), a bit more subdued than that. Still, Bonbon appeared in my head immediately before I saw that it did so for other people as well. I’m not getting any creme brulee in particular though, more a nice generic vanillic sweetness with restrained fruitiness. Custard and canned fruit. A rustic dessert.

  43. :

This was a blind buy for me, well, almost. I read the reviews and decided to take a chance and I’m sooooo glad I did. Like most of Britney’s fragrances this too is an Eau De Partum which means its going to stick with you and needs infrequent re-applications. The thing I find interesting is the number of compliments (both male and female) that I am constantly getting. Oddly enough I get a lot more compliments on this $20 perfume than on my $150 perfume. If you love vanilla and oriental fragrances, you will love this!

  44. :

It is now February and I still enjoy this so much!!! I have decided this is THE vanilla for me that I crave. I LOVE musk..I LOVE vanilla..this is really just perfect. I also really like that its never ‘too much’ I can get away with around 4 or 5 sprays and have this last all day and it never gets ‘too much’ through out the day. I decided to buy a back up bottle of this for safe keeping since it is discontinued.
If you love sultry, musky vanilla frags this is IT!!!

I forgot to add, my bottle from eBay came with the charm 😀 I was so excited to get it and was not expecting to since most of the bottles appear to not come with the charm!

  46. :

    3 out of 5

I was so excited to try try in control curious based on the reviews I have read, so when I received my bottle from eBay I immediately sprayed a generous amount on my wrists, chest, and shirt. There is an initial blast of alcohol but it disappears pretty much instantly, there is a fruity boozy opening that I like but I am wanting vanilla and creme brulee! As it dries down there is a sweet vanilla skin scent that is very cozy, but it is not as strong nor as sweet as I was expecting. It does smell good though, I kept sniffing it, but I had to get my nose right onto my wrist to smell anything. My skin eats this scent up evidently 🙁 I wish it had more staying power because I do enjoy the scent.
That said, I already have a perfume that smells identical to this! Al-Rehab Dalal smells just like curious in control’s dry down so I will not repurchase in control curious again. Dalal lasts all day and is very strong if you apply too much, so all I need is a little dab on my wrists and neck. I use the roll on Al-Rehab Dalal. I would have to spray in control curious every 2 hours to maintain any scent, which is pretty out of control if you ask me 😉
I am really excited to get a bottle of The Nice Fantasy Remix from Britney’s collection, I love Fantasy! I also plan on getting a bottle of Rocker Femme 🙂

Dark and Sultry! Sweet and warm.
I really like it actually, not my style usually but I would repurchase!
I use it on any day though, not just nighttime or such. Used it in school even, it works.

I get lots of vanilla, orchid, and a dark, boozy twist. And there’s a bit of tropical sweetness, reminiscent of dark rum. Unfortunately the powdery orchid combined with the boozy note just wasn’t what I was looking for. It’s definitely a winter/fall/night time scent. This is the most well-crafted of all the Britney perfumes I have tried so far.

  49. :

    4 out of 5

Love this fragrance. It’s perfectly sweet and what I imagine a cute fancy french pastry shop in Paris to smell like. Idk about you but this fragrance lasts forever on me. I was afraid it would project too far because of how strong it is to me. One spray and a constant stream of powdery vanilla sugar fills my nostrils. I love it.

  50. :

    3 out of 5

There is no doubt this is a Britney perfume. It has the same milky soul of Fantasy Intimate and the new Private Show, but it’s a bit darker. It has a burnt vanilla feel to it, which I’d attribute to the combination of orchid and creme brulee. The tonka bean creates a thickness, almost ointment like, that I recognize from Feve Delicieuse by Dior for example. The sweetness is grounded and the perfume has a powdery texture to it. My experience is that it doesn’t last very long on the skin, so I layer it on clothes with other powdery vanillas. Highly recommended especially for the price. I like the UFO bottle, and that’s what it’s known as by my boy…

Picked this up on a whim, it was $20 at the drugstore for the 100ml bottle.
Nice, sweet (but not too sweet) fragrance that is actually quite reminiscent of crème brulee, but sadly zero projection. I literally have to press my nose to my wrist to smell this – I could douse myself in it and it still wouldn’t have any throw.
Too bad, but as others have said, this would work well as a layering fragrance.

  52. :

It reminds me of my college years; I had a fragrance (don’t know the name) but smelled almost exactly like this one. Fun, sweet but not overly sweet…just perfect. Musky vanilla goodness; like it very much! It’s way better than the original Curious.

Wearing this today for the first time in quite a while, now that the weather’s turned colder and my winter perfumes are coming out of hibernation. I almost forgot how nice it is! All day long, I’ve been floating through a soft, warm, boozy, creamy, vanillary cloud. It is definitely sweet and on the “thicker” feeling side, but it still doesn’t ever turn my stomach the way perfumes like Fantasy can sometimes. Excellent longevity and sillage (two sprays this morning have carried me through the end of the work day and still going strong) and absolutely worth checking out if you have any interest in gourmands.
This was a blind buy for me based on fragrantica reviews a few years ago, and I’m very happy to have rediscovered it!

I had high hopes for this juice but it was a no for me….The fragrance was a blind buy, It’s not an absolute stinky smell but it smells kind of sour on me, Considering the notes I thought that this scent would be rather warm but it wasn’t I get a hint of pear not much Brule and a oriental fresh smell dancing in the background…The overall all dry down is sandlewood with soft hints of pear…I only sprayed my 3.4 bottle twice I’d be willing to trade for a more vanilla or warm sweet scent.

I’ve already reviewed this one,but now I see that I have to write a second review
First I tried it,I find it veryyy faint, week and plain vanilla, kind of generic.I was disappointed to buy it.now I know that I need to have it in my collection forever.it’s that much good and now my only sadness is because of it being discontinued
I’m a vanilla/gourmand lover so I have lots of vanilla fragrances but I have nothing similar.I tried V&R bonbon side by side with in control, there are similarities but as I’ve mentioned before, bonbon is more fruity/peachy..it’s juicy, sharper and drydown is more buttery.I love powderyness if in control so for me bonbon can’t be a satisfying dupe for in control(though I like bonbon too)I also love it how fruity notes blend with sweet notes in Britney’s perfume.fruit notes linger beneath vanilla, but aren’t sharp at all or dominant.it’s a mixture of fruits like orange and peach and others and not a specific fruit note.it’s sweetness isn’t too much or sticky or syrupy.it’s not childish and is veryyy cozy
All in all,in control is super gorgeous.I’m really in love with it and each time I wear it,I feel I love it more.I was searching for such a vanilla scent for such a long time.this combination of powdery vanilla, creamy sweetness, fruits and warm woody notes.simple but very likable, enveloping and pretty..I douse myself in it and still I believe it’s faint on my skin, but now I can feel a lovely sweet cloud that surrounds me and is very noticeable for at list an hour.after that this cloud becomes less intense but still remains with you for some good hours. It’s a great before sleep perfume for me.warm, fluffy, soft and sweet as a dream
My hubby doesn’t comment on my perfumes often, also his not a fan of vanilla-ry scents, but as soon as he intered home, told me:which perfume are you testing today?it smells heavenly, please wear it more often.
I was surprised because I’ve sprayed it two hours ago and I didn’t expect it to be noticeable from more than two meters away.so it’s not really faint
I also tried layering it with lulu delices, which is a supersweet orangy vanilla gourmand.lulu delices has much more intense sweetness,is really loud and too much foody and kind of childish, one spray of that one with at least three sprays of in control has an amazing result, delicious, strong and every gourmand lover’s dream
In control is a 5/5 for me,best of Britney’s for me
    ❤❤❤❤❤

Might be discontinued but I just picked up a bottle a couple of weeks ago. To the Canadians out there, it’s at Shopper’s Drug Mart for $19.99.
Nice scent. I get vanilla/sandalwood. Unfortunately, too light and no longevity.

It’s exactly what I want in a Britney Spears perfume. very sweet. Pink Fluff. Hit me Baby One More Time in perfume form!

It’s a nice gourmand perfume. I enjoy it a lot, so much that I got a back up bottle since it’s discontinued. Reminds me of Bonbon without it being all syrupy. I also like wearing this with Aquolina Pink Sugar, they compliment each other nicely.

After buying fantasy anniversary which I’m happy with it,I decided to buy other britney perfumes and curious in control seemed to be the best choice,I love vanilla gourmands,I love bonbon,I love thiz pompy automiser and since it was a limited edition,I knew this may be my only chance to own it,so I ordered it and received it yesterday
Unfortunately my 3.3 oz bottle has a regular automiser andno charms, stii I was very excited to try it
It opened with an alcoholic blast but after some minutes when alcohols faded,I could smell nothing!I was panicked and sprayed it again and again and sniffed my wrist very deeply, this time I detected a veryyy faint sweet scent but it was so faint I didn’t know it’s really there or I’m illusionating.I thought maybe I’m anosmic to it so I asked my hubby to smell my wrist and give opinion on it..he smelt and then looked at me with a puzzled face and said:give my opinion about what?!
I decided to try it the other day,I thought maybe we are
