Description

The brand Aramis of the house of Estée Lauder is launching a new fragrance for men – Impeccable, after numerous successful editions for men.

The new edition is aiming at a mature, sophisticated and confident man: “Impeccable is the man who knows that the way he dresses expresses power, courage and intellect.”, as creators of the house describe him.

Impeccable was envisaged as “the black-tie fragrance,” of such fresh and fine aromas as Moroccan cedar wood, black pepper, juniper berries and citrus zest. Flacon of the new fragrance follows the same idea, of a black tuxedo and is therefore highly simple and elegant – tall, coloured in black, with a gold stopper and name of the house and perfume as the only decoration. Its outer carton accompanies the flacon in style and colour.

The new Aramis‘ fragrance for men will be available as 110 ml (3.7. oz) soon. Impeccable was launched in 2010.

Impeccable is pleasant, but very light. It’s clean and woodsy. I like it, but I wish I could smell it more. I guess it’s “peccable” after all.

Nah, this is not proper Aramis.
I’m a huge fan of this house’s old fragrances – Aramis, 900, Tuscany, New West, Havana… Those had (and still have) style, class and chic. They were man’s, gentleman’s fragrances.
This on the other hand… It’s not bad, but it doesn’t have the Aramis’ backbone. Too primitive, too tuttifruttish, too over-modern, too generic.
    I’m disappointed.

On first blast it is somewhat a poke in the nose like it’s older Classic Aramis brother, but only because of the similarities in the spicy bite.
But, it is not is brother, yet, you can say it is from the same elegant classy suit and tie family. It has all the sophistication of Aramis Classic, but maintains it’s individuality and is a bit more soft spoken.
This definitely a fragrance that exudes elegant manliness, but I would not dare try to classify it as an “over 30” age group scent. After all, how can you put an age on fragrances? Either you love them or you don’t… they fit your personality or they don’t.
Some would say that Classic Aramis would fit into this older man age group… but I promise you, when I was 18 years old, I got the hottest, rubber necking, make out session of my life while wearing Aramis.
    “MMMM you smell gooooood!”

As the others said, this is for a mature man, who probably has a touch of arthritis and very little hair on his head, though some on his knuckles that he wishes he didn’t have. It’s also for very conservative people, and it would be better for the wealthy, assuming they aren’t already into niche. He really loves his money, so he doesn’t want to spend much on a fragrance, but he definitely wants to think of himself as “classy.” He has a tendency to mutter and look downwards quite a bit. He is confident, though – that’s not the issue. Instead, he’s getting bored with life. He’s accomplished more or less what he dreamed about when he was a boy, and he feels he’s running out of steam. He wants to surround himself with objects that don’t rouse emotions, and this Aramis bottle certainly fits the bill.

    A good scent,
Wore this today to a job interview, that’s the kind of fragrance this is, when you want to smell like you’re at your best.
It’s understated for an Aramis Fragrance, stays close to the skin but does seem to stick around (this is a scent where people have complimented me even when I thought it disappeared)
It’s a balance between warm, spicy and citrus like freshness, It’s cool and suave.
The packaging is class in my opinion, the gold and black minimal styled bottle looks great.
Of particular note, “Impeccable” has probably gathered the most compliments with me from the fairer sex (from my experience the only one only comparable in the amounts of compliments is Terre d’ Hermes)

Impeccable, opens aromatic and spicy also, has a chic tone on a light theme, something aquatic/fruity probably juniper appearing together with pepper, escapes some of the brand tradition, and is more young and aromatic woody.
It’s nice scent and not so striking, I feel something in the drydown as a soap behind a touch sweet mixed with cedar and herbs that give a certain herbal touch, but everything balanced and discreet, good perfume without doubt.
    Raing: 8-8,5

This Scent is for older men, above the age of 30 going upwards. Its A nice classic smell, but its not for outdoor adventure and clubbing.

I was curious to see if this would smell like a cousin to Aramis (which I don’t like); it doesn’t. I sprayed it on paper and within an hour after getting home it was mostly gone. I need to test it on skin to really appreciate it
    Longevity isn’t promising.

Very nice… I like to layer it with Aramis 1965.

used Impeccable today. Scent is very good initially. This lasts for 45 minutes. Immediate impact made me to think colonge is fresh spicy. After an hour it settled down, and started to feel the woody part of the scent. This was the best period of fragrance. Not too sharp but really attractive. In the end after 6 hours it is close to skin but smell is still wonderful. I like the subtle woody effect in this very much and it seems this is Moroccan cedar wood. Sillage is above average but not overwhelming. longevity is approx. 6 hours. Scent is interesting and very good. I do not like to call fragrances as masterpieces too often. This one is not a one, but a really chic and elegant product for men above 30. Finally, though people will think Impeccable is suitable for formal use, i do not see anything wrong in using this product for men who like smart casual type.

I just had a try of this since the Estee Lauder outlet near me had it on display and I had some time to spray it and observe.
This isn’t terrible for an inexpensive scent (<$40), it’s subtle, understated, and classic. I’d recommend this as a very good evening fragrance for someone over 30. It’s somewhat linear, so the same scent in opening is nearly what you’ll experience in dry-down with the exception of the citrus in opening. Also, I would not classify this as a sharp citrus, but rather a very tolerable and well-managed one. I would say the juniper is the most prominent note, followed by the combination of pepper and cedar.
It’s a good update to the line, better suited to a more conservative wearer as it’s classy but not adventurous. Definitely a safe fragrance and a decent daily wearer or post-workout spritz for those who aren’t seeking a high-end or niche scent. This does fairly well for an Aramis.

I will make this review pretty quick.the opening isnt so sharp .i was expecting some blast of citrus as it’s stated in the notes but sorry I really didnt get it.Instead there was the I guess Moroccan cedar wood rearing it’s head and it stays there till have a scrub to get rid of it.for that reason I think this clearly belongs to this group of woody spices and yes,you do smell spices- the black pepper. You get these within 10 minutes of spraying this.
It’s not a loud scent screaming for attention but apart from the sharp or “burning” spices there really isnt much for me to shout about in this fragrance.it’s classy alright but the dry down clearly reminds me of that of DSquared2 He Wood minus the sweetness. It does last long I must admit.Unless someone showers themselves in this it just wont offend others. It is clearly aimed at a mature wearer.
the bottle with its golden cap looks elegant.the packaging makes it look very stylish, inviting and tantalising but am not too blown away by the smell it offers. It’s a classy smell alright but nothing groundbreaking to match the price.we’ve all smelt something similar from this category.I only got it because of the Aramis umbrella and toiletries bag thrown in as part of the promotion.
will encourage all to give it a try.will love the take of others on this.

Got a sample from Dillard’s and this is Amazing. This is perfect for those suit and tie events. Very classy and modern. I will purchase when it is released and do a full review.

I really want to try this; i hope is not a rendition of a washed out fresh fragrance, im getting tired of that.
