I still have this bottle after so many years since CCB Paris quit selling in the US. It’s a shame really, I loved so many of their European chic products! Not to mention they often included full size products as freebies in the package!
Illusion was one of the many perfumes I ordered from them back then. It’s a floral oriental, warm and sweet, very comforting and great for cold weather or a relaxing evening. Wearing it right now, I’m thinking of orange, amber, patchouli and a mix of florals. Sillage is moderate, it stays close to the body. Lasting power is excellent, at least for a whole day.
The design of the bottle is rather unusual. Somehow it’s able to balance and stay upright on one center leg, very distinctive among all my other perfume bottles, albeit taking up more space than usual. This and Premier Rendez-Vous are my favorites by Michel Klein.

Following the modernist style bottle, this is quite different. The glass round base fits into a square structure greater than it, which serves as a lid. Crazy!
The notes are freesia and iris (the heart), wood and leather (no doubt feel leather), and others that I haven´t found .
And I also fell honey and spices but what stands out (and I am not a fan, though here the note doesn´t destroy the whole work) is an output Animalic. I may be wrong because I still haven´t notes set for the training but this is my impression .
Listed as a flower, I’d say it’s oriental floral with a touch of citrus in the midst of a profusion of warm bouquet!.
Interesting and different, something brings me to 80 years. Incredible durability. If I could relate it to some known brand, I´d say it could be a Dior (it’s the style).
