Description

I Am Juicy Couture, launched in the summer of 2015, opened a new chapter in the perfume story of the Juicy Couture house. A new version is launching in June 2016 as I Love Juicy Couture: “Feminine? Absolutely. Self-confident? Without a doubt. Mischievous? Well, maybe a little. Your fragrance embraces your playful personality and sensual spirit, opening with a zesty, cheerful mandarin twist and ending a mysterious touch of sexy patchouli. Your passion? Life, love and all things Juicy.”

The sweet floral – fruity composition starts with fresh mandarin, taffy apple and red currant. The floral heart notes include tiger lily, jasmine petals and pink honeysuckle. Sexy notes of patchouli are wrapped in whipped amber and captive musks.

It is available as a 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum as well as a 10 ml rollerball.

    i love juicy couture
    summer test
    two sprays inner wrist
    perfumy fruit
    tart
    gentle sherbetty fruit
turns into Viva la juicy a bit
honeyed perhaps but staying light ish
the accords must be supporting, and well blended.
cant think of any scents this is similar to to give you an idea… but i bet there are some…
not particulaly warm or cool to the nose, i dont get distinguishable notes
im not mad about the staying power but its okay i suppose – in winter it might be weak. summer seems to amp things up.

Pineapple is the safe word here! 😉 But..wait….there’s no pineapple listed.
This is a vibrant tangy scent, which I had hopes for, but the longevity fell short.
Sigh. It’s going to be added to the ‘for layering’ pile.

Another great Juicy Couture offering. Their fragrances are consistently great and there’s only one or two I don’t like. I love juicy couture is sweet yet fresh with a dose of patchouli that blends in well.

The most beautiful of this line, deviates most from the ultra fruity others. Refined, mature. Not a strong patouli. Very pretty.

Juicy Couture is one of my favorite houses when it comes to sweet/gourmand fragrances. And I love their girlie looking but good quality bottle designs too. I can say that this one is not my favorite one, out of all the perfumes that I have collected from this designer house. However, “I Love Juicy Couture” is my favorite frag, compared to other perfumes that have the same red apple note. It is not cloying or overpowering here at all. It is just like I’m sniffing the scent from a fresh red apple on my hand, and it definitely does not have a sour or tart smell as green apples. I quite like the way it plays out with other notes, to make it actually a little different than the rest of JC fragrances. The bottle design is whimsical and the bottle cap is actually well made. I won’t restock or repurchase it, BUT I like having it in my collection now. NO regret at all 🙂

I can’t believe how similar it is to my beloved, discontinued Amor Amor Tentation. I am so happy I bought it blindly and now I will make some back up because I am afraid it is going to be discontinued as well. Beautiful juicy tart blackberries with hint of sweetness and fair dose of patchouli. I love it!

i really like this – it reminds me a bit of mugler’s angel with fruit mixed in to add a more youthful vibe. fruity, but that sexy grounding note keeps it a little more grown up, i guess that’s the patchouli, i don’t know, i still have a lot to learn. the overpowering word that comes to mind is youth, maybe because fruity scents always seem a bit young and cheap to me. but i put this on before bed and an image kept on floating to mind – get ready – debbie gibson’s electric youth perfume. now, i haven’t smelled electric youth for around 30 years, i was a child when i used to wear it and can’t remember what it smelled like, but it kept on swirling in my head. i do wonder, if anyone remembers that scent, does this smell similar?

I have the Original JC, The Viva La Juicy, (which was favored over the original), the ROSE,,Oh myyyy, The Sucre, sweet but w/ the JC DNA, & the Glace, ( DNA still there) Today, I finally got this, which I knew I had REALLY liked. The problem was every single time I smelled it, I was already nose blind by other scents. Today, I smelled it FIRST. The Well blended Patchouli finally set this one apart from all of the rest of the JC’s. All of the one’s I have, seem to be the same perfume, with a little something added. This one is way different. In a very good way. If you like patch, you need this one! Kudos, I love it!! Natalie N on YT
Oh, & the Gold, I never purchased. So far it’s the worst one, to me.

I really love this fragrance. It smells very unique & fun. The warm dry down is my favorite. Hours later I’ll get subtle whiffs of a fresh, tangy-citrus, floral that’s perfectly balanced by the patchouli & amber. If you like red currant, you will love this.

I had a sample of this which I will give away. The notes sound like it could be similar to L’Eau Kenzo Intense, but it’s much less interesting to my nose.
The apple is not a sweet caramel candy (taffy) apple but a bit sour, and mixing that with red currant and mandarin makes a very harsh kind of fruity topnote. The rest of the fragrance is mostly patchouli and generic sweetness without warmth. Unfortunately I find it a bit cheap and biting.

Smells like a hair product or a salon – nice but not my taste. Clean, floral and sweet. Sort of high pitched, I’d say its a daytime scent.

My second ever review on here lol I did not expect to feel so compelled to write about this…
Well, I blindly purchased some mini testers online of Viva LA Juicy, I <3 Juicy Couture and Viva LA Juicy Rose.
    Sale was 3 x 1.5 ml testers for 8$.
She gave me 9 for 20$ and I blindly chose only 1 of the Juicy Rose as I’m fussy on rose (but sometimes like it and still wanted to smell it), and 4 each of the others as they sounded like I’d enjoy them more.
I believe I will enjoy the rose the least, (watch it be my favourite! lol)…and from description, I feel I will love Viva LA Juicy the best (based on reviews and descriptions).
So, this is the one I’m testing first.
    Wearing it to bed.
Upon first spray, I thought I recognized this scent but don’t know from where. Have probably smelled it on so many people and didn’t know lol
Hello JC.. Wow! Nice to meet you too! <3 🙂
My immediate response was that I will be needing a full bottle of this, ASAP… or.. will I..?… Yes.. definitely!
    No, wait.. maybe not… nnnn… YES!!!…
It started off smelling so unique in its own way, yet there’s something so familiar about it..
I’m a Produce Manager, and sometimes the fruit gets squashed. That fresh burst of real, perfectly ripe, sweet fruit took over everything in my personal space!!!! It was blinding, but in a good way..
Time seemed to stand still for a moment as I drifted into the thick heavy.. have I been breathing under water this whole time? A frozen moment in time, because we can’t actually breathe under water, yet time is passing and the heaviness of the water around me… it’s ..like for a moment, nothing existed except me and my new friend JC who was putting her best face forward!
She’s so forward! In your face! Energetic!
“HI!! I’M JC!!…” Then she carries on quickly telling you about this whirl-wind crazy story that just happened to her. .you get the impression this is her life.. on a regular.
You listen intently, amazed at, well… everything about this scene…. breathing in every word she speaks, trying to keep up with this girl. Trying to understand, though she’s clearly making herself be heard. Slips in profanity but makes it taste like icing melting from her tongue. She’s such a curious character..
She’s definitely a Libra! Oh the indecisiveness! ^_^
So sweet, and feminine, yet there’s something very clearly masculine in her essence. Earthy, musky..something… leather?? Like, she could build you something really great with some wood and tools, and her own ideas.. and through blood, sweat and tears, without stopping till she’s done, she’s created a masterpiece – all while wearing an adorable floral dress and her hair a majestic mess.
All this time – moments only – she’s been talking, she’s said so much, all at once…
    Whoaaah – breathe girl!
    Hhhmmmmmmmmnnnn……
Wait.. where did she go? Just like that, she was gone. Vanished into thin air, without a trace. Was that even 5 mins!?!? What the…???
Where did she go? Did she leave a note?
Frantically wanting, no, NEEDING more! I’m out of that thickness, and as the oxygen reaches my brain again, I can think more clearly.. where is she?
I’m smelling my wrist desperately trying to find something.. a note.. something.. anything, to confirm the past few moments were real and not just a dream.
Should I spray more to bring her back? No.. wait..
Oh! There it is.. I found something!!! So faint it’s nearly undetectable.
She left a trail of berries. I smell blackberries, as if that was the only thing left in the room.
The sound of the fan turning, and squashed berries.
As I wrote about this, time has passed and when I thought she was almost completely gone, notes slowly started popping up.
So pretty. Sweet, but not like the first 5 mins.. that shit was intense (In an amazing way!)!!
Different all together, yet, still nostalgic.
I am LOVING the die down.. just in time for sleep.
Wow. This is turning into a scent you could wear on a first date (or 50th), to the beach, to vote, to go out dancing… to work maybe even? Not sure of that yet (will wear to work and let you know how that goes!) 😉
Don’t let her sweetness fool you my fragrant friends – she’s not all sugar and spice and everything nice… she’s also fresh and clean.
And she wears lace, but it’s black.
It’s all black. With splashes of hot pink. (Side note – out of curiosity I just scrolled up to see what the bottle looked like and find it very interesting that it knows it’s black and pink… haha)
    Anyways, leather and lace.
There’s something very dark in this scent.. innocent, yet, not quite.
    But it’s gorgeous.
I don’t know how long this will last on me, I’m hoping for a long time!! ^_^
Can’t wait to test the others!!!
    I now officially <3 Juicy Couture! 😉

Picked up a rollerball yesterday. It’s almost exactly the same as Tokidoki Adieu, though lighter. Adieu is, of course, discontinued, so this will be my substitute summer scent once that is used up.
Edit: Even in autumn/winter, this is working very well as a morning or workout scent, for when I want something noticeable but not deafening, just a pleasant waft when I move.
There is patchouli, and a fruitiness, but it’s not sickeningly sweet. There’s a tartness that balances things out.

Heavy, heavy, heavy on the patchouli. First blast to me was reminiscent of a fruitier Coco Mademoiselle.
I don’t smell apple at all. My skin eats up the patch and the currant. Quite one dimensional but nonetheless, a good fruity dupe for Coco Mad.

This is really lovely. It is exactly what it says fruity and juicy. Smells of exploding fruits, it is mouthwatering and has rather good projection compared to Juicy La Fleur which will always be my favourite from Juicy couture but arguably has the worst projection. This is my second favourite from the line and has the best projection in my opinion radiates at arms length, not a skin scent. However lasts maximum of 3 hours on me and it is getting cool here in the uk when i tried it. I can imagine it wouldn’t last half as long in the summer. Also this one has a balmy feel on the skin thanks to the amber and patchouli which add that sweetness and sharpness on which the fruity notes are built, this adds a little depth and is probably responsible for the stronger projection. I think this scent is rather well done, I am not dissapointed, it is nice but it is sort of a guilty pleasure. It is just a juicy tasty fun fragrance. I wouldn’t wear it for an interview or a date though, but it is comfy and nice for lounging around the house or for just casual day to day stuff. Red current and cranberry are definitely the main notes for me on a bed of amber blended well with a hint of patchouli, patchouli isn’t strong in this, it is very weak and is simply blended with the amber, so this is safe for those who hate patchouli too.
To conclude I would describe this as a mouthwatering fruity juicy scent that is good for casual everyday wear, Is fun, not a serious fragrance, it does not convey any personality though, nor does it have a particular vibe about it. However I would definitely buy it if I saw it going cheap.
    Bottle-6/10
    Scent-6.8/10
    Projection-5/10
    Lasting power-4/10

Great on card, not so much on skin. Tried and we are two hours in and it’s very quiet. Not unpleasant, just perhaps I’ve tried lots and this is similar, if I’d tried this one first I may like this instead and think other subsequent frags are similar, who knows. I would use it if I got given it I guess

This was quite good at first spray, but it’s weak in my opinion. The scent is completely gone in a few hours, there’s literally nothing left of it.
Juicy it is, quite fruity as well.
The scent doesn’t impress me and the bottle is tacky.

yes this smells just like Britney spears believe and ‘ushers she” perfume….favors both…it smells nice but don’t love it to buy a bottle.

The rep showed me this today and I had a time travel experience back to 2009 (I was 18) when I smothered myself in Amor Amor Tentation and any other potent fruity floral.
The musk is strong and forward in this deep sweet potent (trust me I’ve showered and it’s still there)
Sadly no longer me,but my inner young girl loves this. 8/10

Juicy Couture is amazing I want all their perfumes eventually, I still have to complete the Viva La range, as I love Gold Couture that one is next to get.
I actually like the design on that bottle. Jazz!Bling!

I want it like crazy, don’t ask me way, I love Juicy Couture in general and why not this perfume with the same name as my declaration?
Quality of I am Juicy Couture is perfect. (not my cup of tea though) Lasting power and sillage are very good in almost all Juicy Couture perfumes. My old time classic Viva la Juicy will always be in my heart but… adding sensual patchouli to the best gourmandise quality on planet family of Juicy Couture? Sounds extremely interested and guess what. Someone’s growing.
I used to be a bit angry with so many editions of Viva la Juicy for example, but now who cares? How many brands launched the same perfume with 100 different editions like La vie est belle-Lancome, Le petit robe noire-Guerlain, Miss Dior-Christian Dior and the store goes one. The point is to find the best one for you. Keep up the good work JC and please don’t break my heart (and my wallet) haha. <3
p.s: I love the people commented below me.
