Another very good EDT from Armaf. I tried it side-by-side against Sauvage Christian Dior for men (SCD), on the skin and on my cloth. They do share very similarities on the middle and base scents. Except Hunter is slightly subtly tiny bit more fruity/floral, while SCD is more on the “linen” side.
The performance are similar too. Hunter develops slightly different when applied to skin compared to cloth, while I did not notice such difference from SCD. In fact SCD seems more linear to me. I have been looking for a successor of Armaf Club de Nuit (CDN) or a companion I could alternate. This might be the a good candidate but I don’t think it will take the place of my beloved CDN.

This one is pleasing out of the box. It smells a lot like Invictus/Wanted in the opening with the playful, fruity/aromatic vibe. Armaf did a good job replicating that.
The drydown smells very similar to Sauvage. This is where the fragrance runs into problems. It’s just too harsh of a transition for me. Is it an Invictus clone? A Sauvage clone? Both? Neither?
It’s cheap and will get you compliments alright, but this juice has absolutely no identity whatsoever. It’s the perfect example of why “fragrance X plus fragrance Y” might sound good in theory but is very difficult to pull off. Pass on Hunter Intense; there are better clones out there, especially from this house.

Yes, Hunter Intense has similarities to Invictus and Sauvage but I think it’s closest to Versace Dylan Blue. I already own Dylan Blue and find the scent and performance to both be a bit better on that one but Hunter Intense is not bad. DB is not that much more expensive so I would recommend going with that instead.
Presentation is alright. The cap has a notch on it so you have to spin it around until it clicks in which is strange.

Compares somewhat with Sauvage and Luna Rossa Carbon. Will give off a department store vibe, for sure. Try layering under Ferragamo F Black. I think there’s a tad of black pepper in the Hunter Intense that anchors the two together. You’ll be quite pleased with the result.

After CDNIM this one which I like from Armaf. Drydown is creamy and sweet(in a good way). My wife love this one. A must from the house of Armaf. Grab it before it gets reformulated like CDNIM.

Bought this blindly based on Cubaknow review on Youtube.
Unlike (Le Parafait) which was gorgeous! This one (Hunter Intense) is too sweet to my taste, especially in the opening, if it was less sweet it would be a solid fragrance!
Fortunately, the sweetness starts to fade after 30-45 minutes and the scent becomes better and closer to Dior Sauvage.

I’m beginning to love some of these Armaf frags, including this one!
Hunter Intense is a compliment god, I almost always get at least one or more compliment wearing it. It’s very versatile and has great performance. As others have stated, it does smell like a mix of Savauge and the sweetness of Invictus, or possibly Ultra Male. Either way, it’s a fantastic fragrance and for the money it is a must buy. Def worthy of a blind buy!

For me is more Lacoste L12.L12 White in the opening and Sauvage on the dry down!! Yes is similar to Invictus to but maybe the combination of the sauvage notes make us think that!!

i actually am starting to really hate the armaf stuff and i’m not going to be buying anymore tbh.
Reason why is because of execution; yes we could assume that 99% of the population won’t know this is a clone of 2 frags but when it shifts from a Invictus Aqua to a very mild sauvage, I notice.
It’s more annoying than anything else and i like both the scents this clone mimics but I like the scents individually.
this frag isn’t bad for the price but i’d rather just buy the other 2 because i feel the smells are 1) more defined and 2) project much smoother because of that definition.
This scent is just confusing ppl tbh, it’s like it pleases 50% of the population for 1 sec, then it pleases the other 50% for another second but in doing so it makes the other side (that was previously happy) upset.
For the money though especially if you can’t afford these scents like Sauvage, it’s a fine option if you want but can’t afford, or even want to test before you buy.
I have seen some reviewers swear by this armaf stuff but if this (Hunter Intense) and Clud de Nuit Intense for men is the best of the bunch of this house…30 bucks for a frag or not, I’d rather just save my cash and invest in the genuine frag (unless the frag is 99% accurate)
It’s a good scent for a young person who wants both Sauvage and Invictus Aqua or even 1 of the 2 but can’t afford.
Otherwise I wouldn’t recommend it and it’s not cause i’m a snob about this stuff; it’s just i have smelled and owned 1 of the 2 and i know how awesome it can be so i don’t really feel like the trade / limitation of picking this up in place of or just even as a temporary fix is legit enough.
If you just want to conserve juice (that you already own these 2 or 1 of the two) of your name brand stuff, honestly that’s not a bad reason to pick this up.
Otherwise I feel like it’s a 5/10 since it only fulfills half of the role it’s trying to mimic

Very well done for very little $$. If you are on the fence, you need to buy this. I have gotten compliments hours after application – another great value from Armaf!

The Hype is real with this one. I have many designer colognes but the amount of compliments I’ve garnered with Intense in the past 6 weeks alone has put all my more expensive frags to shame. This is hugely popular with females. I get 6-7 hours + with this and projection is beast for me for the first 3 hours and then becomes moderate.
For $20-25, this is a major steal. Major compliment getter.

Odd but I get a ton of Invictus Aqua on the opening, then like a sweeter Sauvage on dry down. Not beast mode on my skin, but it does last and project. Well worth the $22 I paid for it.
It’s not a clone of Invictus and it’s not a clone of sauvage, it’s sort of its own while being a blend of the two.

So Armaf Hunter Intense…. seems a hybrid of Diors Sauvage and to my nose Paco Rabannes Invictus. Seems that Armaf were looking to bring both popular elements together and thumbs up, they did it and a great job too.
Good performance and lasts a fair amount of time.
    Well done Armaf.
Would love them to try their hand at mixing Sauvage and Aventus together (X-Batch Killer) in a similar vein to what they did with Le Parfait (Green Irish + Aventus)…. just saying =)
