Beaut fragrance, it has an element of icy sharpness in the spice, this stuff just turned heads, I remember walking into a shop in SOHO London ( no not that type of shop!) and the owner of the shop, a mature women being blown away, the younger girls thought it an outrageously flirtatious fragrance. I remained good friends with the owner ever since.

Starts off with crisp citrus and quite peppery. Some sour and green notes. Smells initially fresh and has a hint of ?pine that persists well beyond the top notes. A really good opening but doesn’t really live up to its promise.
It dries down (through a short-lived phase that smells like a banana skin to me!) to become slightly more full, muskier and woodier but a bit flat and dull. Retains a green note all the way through.
I think this is a summery, clean fragrance, but there are some almost animalic notes at points so it wouldn’t suit very hot weather. Not got enough depth or power for cold weather though. Maybe an everyday office scent – can’t imagine it would ever offend anyone.
Not very strong – need a few extra squirts on top of my usual 2-4. Even with extra squirts it unfortunately doesn’t project well at all and it doesn’t last long on me.
Smells pretty good. Nothing very special or interesting after the decent opening. Doesn’t last at all well. Don’t regret buying it (glad I didn’t pay full price though). Won’t buy it again.

A very clean, crisp and woody scent with hints of pepper. It’s a fragrance that reminds me of a snow covered forest in the depths of a bleak midwinter. The coldness also seems to be reflected in the design of the fantastic bottle too which resembles some kind of modern art ice sculpture. Despite its coldness i’d recommend this to be worn more at the cooler times of the year rather than the hot, balmy days of summer. All in all a fascinating, unique fragrance with good longevity and decent silage.

    For me it’s;
Nicole Fahri = Kenzo Power + Gucci Rush (2000) + Gucci pour Homme
nice peppery fragnance! it’s becoming rare now

The opening of this…as everyone else has said is a kind of overwhelming masucline spicy pepper. It’s nice and a little bit unusual but I think the pepper is out of balance with the other notes. The background is very herby which is nice.
It fades quite quick though and the drydown is..a bit meh, not really anything to rave about. For a peppery scent I would reccomend “Bang” by Marc Jacobs.
The one good thing about this scent is the cool bottle but the quality of the juice is not so good.

It was a blind purchase for mee too, and top notes are really amazing and juicy. Artemisia, pepper and lime make opening very attractive and joyous but then it develops into musky patchouli woody base which appeared to me boring and plain.

In a selfish way, I’m glad this scent didn’t take off commercially. It’s a bargain and a beauty.
It’s something unique in a world of mediocre fragrances. I agree with nattonline in that it does remind me of Salvatore Ferragamo Homme but I would say it has more in common with its recent reincarnation as Costume National Homme. It is not as spicy as SF.
I agree that is in the same family as l’Eau Bleue d’Issey but the notes in this a far from the lemongrass and rosewood I get from LBD.
The scent this most reminds me of is Comme des Garcons Zagorsk but it’s a tad more masculine and clean. I find Zagorsk to be softer like a pine scented beeswax candle.
I’ve only had this one on half an hour and I’m pleased with my blind purchase.
……….The only down side is that it stays very close to the skin on me but it does have lasting power.

This is a truly amazing fragrance from one of the uk’s most prominent fashion house .
It smells very fresh – fresh in the opening and smells very ‘cool’ if i can say that about it ? I get whiffs every now and then and I jsut love wearing this as a staple (office)
The shower tonic is lovely -it smells exactly like the fragrance , The aftershave balm is very light and non greasy and has a subtle scent to it.
    definately one for winter/autumn/spring
The bottle itself is very chunky -and looks like a piece of ice -nice and it’s very tactile.
and not too be missed in my opinion – an unusual fragrance that would be worthy in any self respecting mans fragrance wardrobe
I get a good 8 hours out of this fragrance – it dries to a woody base – I really like this one 🙂
