A burst of almost too sweet rosemary opens up the scent. And then I’m plunged to a forest floor; all oakmoss and animal. Dirty, dank; I love it. Spend a few minutes down here. And then, suddenly, Christmas! Sparkly, lightly sweet, warm and spicy. Everything jives together really beautifully. The Christmassy vibe moves to the background, but remains present through the rest of the drydown for me.The rosemary is really nicely done here, and quite present. But it’s a baking rosemary rather than an herbal “in the pot” rosemary. There’s a really great rosemary cookie that my family makes and I get a lot of that. It sits close to my skin and I wish it projected more. Longevity is not disappointing, but not great; about 5/6 hours.
