At first this reminds me of Auric Blends Coco Mango because right after application I get hit with a blast of tropical fruit BUT then the orange flower comes into play followed by the spicy/woodsy notes. As is the norm for a Solstice fragrance, this one goes through several changes/stages that makes wearing it a delight. Fans of Kenzo Jungle L’Elephant looking for a less powerful more subtle scent without the BO patchouli would love this one.

Heat of the night is a dusky nightfall scent. Tropical citrus, mango, bergamot, coconut, vanilla, amber and a bit of orange blossom open the scent. After about a half hour, the spices start to kick in, the patchouli and musk grow deeper. Its very rich, sultry, bordering on decadent. Its perfect as summertime begins to fade and the autumnal colors begin to herald the coming of fall. Its one last tropical party as summertime ends. Beautiful.
Id love to layer Kenzo L’elephant with it.
