I’m in love with this fragrance! Very peachy, vanilla, powdery. It balances just right to be a borderline gourmand scent. The floral notes give it a sweetness and cleanliness that keeps it from being to sweet. On me, it smells borderline unisex. I tend to bring out the musk I guess. The bottle says Baby but I find this to be a scent for all ages, though it’s a little more mature than childish. I can see the comparison to a dolls head (I mean, the whole lid is a pretty Japanese doll) but it’s sweeter and not so plasticky. This is my second Harajuku fragrance and I’m in love with it. If you’re a guy and you can handle the girly (but cute and pretty) bottle, I’d say try it out. It’s warm, sweet, and a little musky on me.

I have to agree with most of the reviewers who say this fragrance smells like a dolls head with vanilla. The florals or the powder notes don’t appear on me which is a disappointment because I was hoping for the powder note to come through. It still is a nice fragrance but it’s a like for me and I won’t purchase it again after I use it up.

Baby is the perfect name for this perfume. It really does smell like something having to do with a baby..like baby powder mixed with baby wipes. It smells like a baby prostitute that’s a quote from Mean girls. Mostly
its just vanilla powdery sort of fruity smell. I love it. if ur into young smelling scents this is great.

This really does have that “new doll’s head” scent, but not in the creepy, disturbing way it sounds. It made me sorta sad smelling it. I was a late bloomer, and lonely, so I played with dolls up to the age where I had that moment of thought of “this is it, it’s time to stop playing now.”
But this smells like the hairbrushes and accessories that used to come with dolls. I actually find it very pretty and sweet, however, the fake vanilla in it makes it unwearable for me.
I think I’m drawn to these because they’re something I would have wanted after I put my toys away for good. It would have made the transition more enjoyable.

Absolutely love this fragrance. Very gentle beautiful vanilla top note. Low price but smells expensive.

Soft, powdery, spicy, smells like a dolls head.
I smell a lot of tonka in this too.
Its a strange scent for sure but i like it. Sometimes i wear it at home its comforting and soft.
    Sillage is moderate.

Fizzy Peach Vanilla. Also my favourite out of all Wicked Style collection!
It’s a pleasant scent that combined peach and fresh vanilla, and the scent luckily doesn’t change much. Despite being an EDT, Wicked Style Baby lasts more than 8 hours on my skin!

Like Wicked Style G, this is quite a bit better than it has to be. Powdery vanilla with a bit of that plastic doll head vibe, it reminds me of Hanae Mori, except I think I actually like it better. The orchid sings through in the drydown. It’s a soft, simple perfume that works for adults who enjoy this type of scent as well as children. Very enjoyable!

I like the hot spicy pepper that comes with the top notes but all too soon it disappears and gives way to vanilla which isn’t exactly my favorite scent. I detect pineapple don’t ask me where from. I wouldn’t mind wearing this edt if it was just the top notes which I find appealing. I don’t find it to be a young girl’s scent at all, the initial headiness at first spray makes it quite suited for a mature crowd, if only it had more longevity.

I have this fragrance, I purchased it years ago, I love collecting the harajuku fragrances so for the fragrance, it was a blind buy. My bottle must have expired or it was a bad batch because it smells like how stale bubble gum tastes. I wish I could smell another bottle of this to compare.

This a very nice vanilla floral that you can basically wear anytime…i like to wear it to bed, its very sweet and feminine, its also very cheap, i got it for less then 20 dollars off of ebay. It reminds me of Purr by katy perry but its not a complete copy. i recommend this for vanilla lovers.

I really wish I could say that I love this… Or at least like it. But to me it just smells like plastic with some fake vanilla extract!
It made my head hurt and I couldn’t wash it off 🙁
Which could be good for those who do like it!

At first, this girly fragrance is a little dirty. The peach note is light and dry, rather than juicy, and everything is tempered by a lovey powderiness; young and fresh rather than “old” or dated. I found it sweet without being cloying; delicious without being edible. Although sillage wasn’t huge, I caught sweet whiffs of the vanilla-tonka goodness every little bit for the first two hours or so.

I really love this perfume, it is my 2nd favorite of the Wicked Style series (first being Music!). This is a really nice powder scent on me…not baby powder, but just a nice, feminine, nothing too special but nothing too baby either….I don’t pick up a lot of the other notes in this, but it is worth purchasing a full bottle for me 🙂

Interestingly, this treasure is not what she seems. Just throw out the pyramid, kids.
Of all the listed notes, the one that comes out on top isn’t even appearing: and that is Tonka. This IS Tonka: pure, simple, rich Tonka, and that is what makes it so delectable.
I’m *so* familiar: I used to make sachets out of the stuff. I also used to wear Tonka essential oil, because I loved it so much. THIS… is *spot-on*.
Apparently, with all of these notes powers’ combined: you have the Tonka lovers’ dream perfume – and if you like this, you know what to look up next. 🙂
-I also review perfumes safe for migraine sufferers and this one has neither caused one nor aggravated one.

I imagined it’d smell like baby powder?
But no! Smells very good (smell mostly vanilla and flowers.)
No, the person walking near you may not smell it but I think it has good staying power.
My favorite of the “Wicked Style” collection.

Oh dear, if only I could just get this scent to have more of a presence on me. Unfortunately I can only describe it as “quaint” seeing as how it goes from a lovely fruity-vanilla to a so-soft-it-flies-away-with-a-light-breeze smell. If I bury my nose in my skin I can still smell some of the vanilla and sandalwood, but then I suppose the point of perfume is to entail more a “come hither” reaction rather than hitting people in the face with your fragrance.
The bottle is immensely adorable, so I’m glad I get mileage out of its aesthetics on my shelf.

  18. :

At first snif 2 words came up to my mind : powder and flowers.
To me it’s mostly a floral scent. I whish I could get as much vanilla as some others seem to, but I don’t. I get mostly the orchid, the frangipani, the jasmin, and a hint of the apple. The powder doesn’t stay long.
I whish it developped more but on me it doesn’t…great soft floral and very feminine scent though.
And the bottle is so cute, great to have in my modest collection 🙂

This smelled like a spicy powdery vanilla rose on me. I loved this scent and I loved the bottle, but it didn’t last on me at all and gave me a headache.

Smells of straight up slightly unripe Gala apples.
It’s bitter, sweet, sharp (definitely not powdery although the “camomile” or “sunflower” scent in this makes it quite floral), and fruity.
Other notes in this Eau De Toilette consist of a sweet pear, something close to the scent of unripe peaches, and I can smell a bit of vanilla in this. On top of all those notes added over one another, another sweet scent makes this very unique: Maeil (Daily) BIOFEEL.
^ It’s a nostalgic, for most of us, probiotic drink that’s manufactured in South Korea and is shipped all across the Hmarts of the world.
Something a middle school girl would wear as the only fragrance her mother would allow her to wear or a University girl who lacks the necessity for vanity.
Young, immature, and a favourite of mine.

I LOVE this perfume. It has to be one of my favorites! Whenever I wear it I get compliments on it and how good it smells! It’s very feminine and light. It’s not an in your face type of perfume. I can spritz myself 5 or so times without having to feel like I’m going to kill someone with my perfume! I get a soft, sweet note from it. I just adore this one! I’ve bought a second big bottle of it!

Funnily enough I was really looking forward to testing Wicked Style Baby. I had read many favourable reviews, and seeing that I enjoy vanilla scents it struck me as an inexpensive fragrance that I’d probably really like.
It turns out that I actually do enjoy Wicked Style Baby. I may not be the biggest fan of the opening, but when it comes to the heart and the drydown, I would happily wear this and buy it for a young daughter too.
Wicked Style Baby is a bit plasticky in the beginning, almost reminiscent of nose-burning hairspray. I was incredibly disappointed upon my first encounter with this fragrance, but after giving it some time to develop, the more pleasant aspects of this composition began to make themselves known.
The heart is comprised of fluffy, sweet vanilla, red apple, orchid, candied peach and tropical frangipani. Wicked Style Baby is quite a sweet, foody scent, closer to a gourmand than a fruity floral.
Surprisingly this fragrance’s sillage and longevity go a long way. As the Wicked Style collection begins to be phased out, this fragrance among others in the range are decreasing in price. You can find these scents for as little as $15 in some retail stores. So far Wicked Style Baby is my favourite, however I’m yet to test them all. Grab them while you still can.

I got this perfume for the bottle, but when I opened it I liked the smell of it. I also got HaraJuku Music and that didn’t smell bad either. I think that the bottles are kind of cute, so I’m going to try to collect all of the bottles.

  24. :

    4 out of 5

I’ve collected many of the Harajuku Lovers fragrances and I really appreciate this perfume in particular.
I have both the 0.33 floz and the 1 floz bottles of this fragrance, and both of them are adorable and I love the Harajuku-inspired outfit, though the larger size is very cool with the velveteen hair.
The fragrance itself is very sugary sweet, but the plasticy note in it keeps it from blending in with the other sugary fragrances out there. It’s like the playful little sister of Viktor & Rolf’s Flowerbomb, less as warm and very youthful. This will please fans of Britney Spears Fantasy and Aquolina Pink Sugar. It’s a bit powdery, but not like baby powder, (and luckily nothing like the original HL Baby).
The lasting power is pretty decent, but I am glad I have a travel size to keep it fresh. This could be worn day or night and could be worn by anyone of any age. And for the price, this one is worth it.
Overall, this is something I’d recommend to pretty much anyone who likes sugary sweet fragrances. 8/10 from me.
    xx

Very soft & powdery. Smells like talc or baby powder. Not my fave, but ok..
Wicked Style Love IMO is the best…It is SOOOO nice! One of my fav perfumes! 🙂

The first time I bought this it was compleatly blind. It was on sale and the bottle was different so I figured why not? Once it arrived I expected it to smell alright but I was wrong it smelled amazing! I was obsessed. I love powdery soft scents so this was heaven to me. Its such a calming scent, I have some niche perfumes all the way to dollar store knock offs. This stuff has been my top five for three years now I dont see it ever leaving its spot. I used up my first bottle in less than a month.
Luckily its not to hard to find the big testers! 🙂

This is a lovely little fragrance guaranteed to bring a smile to my face. It starts with a sweet burst of Peach and fresh tropical breeze (Freesia and Coconut) and mellows into a long lingering vanilla cake heaven. This isnt an everyday scent, but rather nice way to warm up next to a warm fire on a chilly evening and remember a tropical vacation. It also rounds out my collection as it is my only Peach scent. Charmingly sweet and innocent scent!

Wicked Style Baby smells like baby dolls: Plastic + Vanilla + Flowers…Love it!. I loved Barbie dolls and baby dolls growing up in the 80’s. I admit that I bought this because I like the Harajuku Lovers’ dolls and I was collecting them. The first time I sprayed W.S. Baby I sprayed it on a doll to test it and I thought : “What is this weird smell?” Then I forgot about it, and when I came back to my room I thought something smelled really charming. It was the Wicked Style Baby. I think it smells wierd but charming, I have nothing else like it. I guess people are calling it plastic. XD

Shame as it really is a gorgeous scent and the bottle is cute!

At first I thought it was too sweet but then I thought it was also sour and special. I can imagine a 13-or-14-year-old girl wearing it.

  34. :

I like this perfume, but I don’t love it.
It’s really femminine, delicious, young and easy to wear. If you like vanilla (like me) you’re gonna like this, ’cause even if it is in the base notes, you’ll smell it since the beginning.
There are also some fruity, floral and powdery elements that combined together are kind of new to me.
Anyway just “like” it, but, maybe, it will grow on me.
    🙂

I will begin my review by saying that I am not a fan of the original Baby. I bought it blind to complete my original set of the Harajuku Lovers fragrances, and I only wore it once. The original Baby is a pure baby powder scent that I just cannot tolerate. Baby Wicked Style, however, is quite a bit different. It still has a bit of the powder note; that fact is undeniable. However, Baby Wicked Style is a lot more complex. The main fruit note that I get is the peach, which sits atop the powdery background note. As the scent develops, it becomes sweeter, and rounds out in the end as an almost pure vanilla. Not a bad scent, but not my favorite either. I feel like it might grow on me though, and I don’t find it to be cloying or headache inducing, just different.

  36. :

    5 out of 5

I don’t know if I purchased an old bottle of this scent but I do not like it. mine smells like some kind of bubble gum with a hint of powder. This scent makes me feel sick, it smells like a knock off cheap perfume I’m not a fan of the original baby either but I do wear it, it smells alright. But the doll on top is adorable! I’m not going to return it though because I collect these bottles, I hope they will be worth something when I’m older.

Just picked up a huge 3.4oz tester of this for $10 the other day. Very happy with my purchase. It shares a lot of similarities with the original Baby however whereas the original Baby was very linear and straight baby-powder scent, this one is a little more complex and evolves.
It starts off smelling vanilla and fruity then the floral sweetness of the orchid comes out and the fruits fade away leaving a soft powdered vanilla. It smells like sweet talcom powder in many ways.
This one is sweeter than the original and very nice. It still retains it’s ‘innocent’ qualities and smells slightly powdery and clean.

  38. :

    4 out of 5

I always wanted Hypnotic poison, but I couldn’t really ever buy it… ( budget is of a teenage girl with an allowance.) This is similar with the vanilla, but amazing in it’s own way. I love all the harajuku lovers, but this one’s got to be a personal fave. It’s a warm scent with vanilla and the flowers making a very nice duo together. Can’t quite catch the fruit smell, but eh, o well.
One of those scents that when i spray it, i just can’t stop smelling myself. So soft, so i guess you can say liek a baby, but deffintly not liek the original which is straight baby powder according to the reviews.
Also Honestly, the longevity on this perfume is pretty impressive. My only harajuku girls that doesnt go away in the middle of the day, and this one you can still smell on the shirt the next day. Pretty amazing, cuz overall not much longevity on these perfumes sadly.

  39. :

    5 out of 5

This is the only Baby scent I like from the Harajuku Lovers line. Most of the Baby scents are FAR too powdery and cloying, in my opinion. Wicked Style Baby, however, manages to balance out its notes!
This isn’t a sophisticated fragrance whatsoever, but it’s very pleasant and cozy. “Baby” is a very good name for it; I imagine that this is what you would expect a baby doll to smell like. I’d like to think of this as a much younger version of Jessica Simpson’s Fancy: Sweet and powdery.
The sweetness comes from the vanilla and the fruity notes (especially the peach). I don’t pick up on the straight-up apple scent, but I pick up a slight juicy-ness to the fragrance, which I would credit the apple for. The floral notes keep those sweet notes from being TOO sweet, and the musk, sandalwood, and amber give that “baby powder” quality too it. All the notes compliment each other instead of competing with each other, which is a warm welcome for the Harajuku Lovers, in my opinion.

Very vanilla jasmine, nice for a warm autumn day, or a rainy summer day. More of a transitional scent, for those days that don’t quite fit the season.
I really like this scent, soft and feminine. Very lovely and soothing, a ‘warm’ scent.
Even though it is an EDT, the lasting power is quite strong. I put this on at 6am this morning, it is now 3pm and I can still smell it. I would respray at lunch time for a nice all day scent.

  43. :

Marshmallow, baby powder, and faint hint of Far Away. An uncomplicated scent, unpretentious and linear. Simple, cuddly, and loveable.

  44. :

    4 out of 5

I don’t get fruits with this one. What I do get is a vanilla burst with light florals and sandalwood, and a powdery musk, which is nothing like the unpleasant, full-on baby powder scent of the original HL Baby. Very nice fragrance indeed (my favourite of the Wicked Style series) with fair lasting power.

  45. :

    4 out of 5

Hmm hard to describe this scent, but there is a lot of baby powder and baby oil notes on my nose. I can smell creamyness too, like..those pink musk sticks infused with cream…overall, I love it! It has really grown on me. Pastel sweetness all the way 🙂

Let’s for a hot minute put aside the comparisons to Hypnotic Poison, which I also have and love.. Yes, there is a bit of resemblance. I prefer to get to the point.. if I were on a hot date with Billy Idol, this is what I would wear.

  47. :

watered down vanilla cake. too light of a scent with 5 minutes or less of longevity. this not a perfume but hannah montana body mist could be found next to the toy section for 10 year olds. NOT worth the price.

  48. :

I agree with rosecat… Vanilla sugar! Soft, peachy, innocent vanilla sugar with some tropical florals. The scent fits the look of the doll and the color of the juice. Very shy and sweet 🙂 but back to the scent, it’s sort if comforting as well. Lasting power is decent, woot! The tropical florals are not loud whatsoever, I think they were blended just right to make this fragrance velvety. Nice!

This is such a cute bottle AND very lovely scent. If anyone is looking for a first time perfume for a young lady (10-16) I highly recommend this one.But any age is good. I’m 35 (well… almost)and I love it! I think this is more of a daytime perfume. I don’t think it would be well suited for a fancy event I would say good for shopping, coffee, or daytime date. Long lasting. It’s like walking in a creamy candy wonderland but do not worry it’s not too sweet.

  54. :

soft creamy and powdery i love it i can smell the coconut in it but it as a sexy powdery smell great for the office!

  55. :

    5 out of 5

This one is a soft, powdery and fruity vanilla with a tropical edge that is simply delightful. Didn’t like it at first due to the inclusion of Freesia and the way that it blended with the other notes. But, after numerous testings and finally wearing it I have grown very fond of this little treasure!! 🙂 Man am I glad I didn’t swap it away, lol.
I can certainly see the resemblance to Hypnotic Poison except this is like the everyday/office friendly version. 🙂 Lasting power and sillage are pretty darn excellent considering it’s an Edt and it’s overall soft nature. Still it lasts at least 8hrs on my skin before it transcends into a very lovely skin scent. ( As days go by I find myself before more impressed by the staying power! 😀 )
Not a particular fan of this series but I can admit the bottles are darn cute and yet I couldn’t care less about that and refuse to pay that much for an ounce or less of perfume! Luckily, I have a large 3.4oz tester bottle so I’m happy. Haven’t tried the others but if you are looking for a solid fruited, floral and soft perfume for the summer or everyday then give this a try.

This is soft and sweet. A really nice everyday/daytime scent.
I don’t get the vanillas. I smell peach and floral notes.
It’s not very long lasting on me. I have to keep re applying every couple of hours.
    Yummy!

This perfume is lovely! It has a very powdery vanilla’y soft scent to it, and I can smell a little bit of the fruit in there at the start of the scent. Its not over powering and it seems to stay on my skin for a reasonably long time for an EDT. I find it a very warm and cosy scent. Perfect for snuggling up on cold nights! This seems to be the scent which always gets me compliments. Overall a sweet soft and girly scent 🙂

  59. :

This is such a nice perfume. It has more depth than you would think and would be perfect to wear to an amusement park, or a summer pool party. Its light and fresh. I can smell apples and frangipani accented by a delicate orchid. I don’t actually find it that sweet.. it falls more on the cool side of pink girly fumes. The fragrance also winks at you a little by adding a plastic doll head accord. Yep, there’s a hint of that Barbie head you used to chew on as a child. A lovely and funny fragrance 😉

  60. :

Didn’t like the original Baby at all but I love this one! It is sweet powdery vanilla but quite fresh at the same time. The doll is very cute too, with pink hair 🙂 Despite the name, I find this scent mature and refined. My favourite out of all the scents in the Wicket Style collection.
I find this very similar to Christina Aguillera By Night.

Harajuku Lovers Wicked Style Baby is a very cozy, fluffy, warm vanilla-cotton scent. Very cute. I would say its practicaly Harajuku Lovers G without the coconut.
Harajuku Lovers Wicked Style Baby could also be called Baby Hypnotic Poison 😉

Just as there are ‘happy shows’, such as ‘The Brady Bunch’, and cartoons such as ‘The Jetsons’, there are also ‘happy scents’, and H.L. Wicked Style Baby is just that, a ‘happy scent’.
I was feeling a tad down today(for no apparent reason), so I decided to spray this fragrance on myself. And oh my gosh, my mood went from glum to chum in a matter of a minute. It is the ultimate mood lifter for me.
While it’s very sweet, it’s not overly so, as some fragrances can be. Immediately after spraying, I can smell a bubblegum-like sweetness to it, which would be the freesia and peach, I’m assuming. It’s also quite powdery & soft, and even though I’m not a huge fan of apple in scents, it’s not obvious in the least. After a few more minutes, I can smell a wee-bit of musk, orchid, and lots of vanilla.
I will admit, I’m not a fan of Gwen Stefani’s music or fashion at ALL.. I’m not even sure whether she’s a nice person or not. But when a person releases just ‘happy scents’, as this is for me, I can’t help not be a fan, if only a little, and I can at least say I appreciate something about her, and that’s good enough for me. Even the doll on the bottle is fun(albeit childish), with her light, pastel colours. I wish more designers would try to make just ‘happy scents’, rather than the same old ‘serious’, ‘sexy’, or ‘deep’ ones. This is a nice change of pace, how very refreshing. 🙂

I was able to sample this on Fashion Night Out 2010.
I was not able to smell the original “Baby” but read reviews on how unpleasant it was and the least favorite of the collection. This “Wicked Style Baby” is actually quite pleasant. Their is a soft and even powdery note and this may be the freesia. (Unfortunatly their are a few flower notes im not quite familiar with.) The Peach and apple give a very soft juicy opening but the freesia is dominating. Spray with caution.
A vanilla (which is at the base note) actually seems to innocently and discretely rise and make itself well known. The vanilla along with the orchid(not sure on this one) give it a sweet and candy quality. Not Britney Spears super sugary sweet, but tame. Perhaps its good enough to be a EDT for if had a stronger silliage and dominating presence, it would nauseate those who come close to you.
    Nonetheless, pleasant scent.
