It is a fresh and very “green” smelling fragrance. Floral blossom notes and green tea notes are the notes I get from it.
Quite simple, more of an everyday scent or sporty scent, not a signature one.
    Not bad, but not amazing.
This one is just an average scent.

After spraying: fresh green tea note + rose (almost as in Chloe)
After half an hour: purple lilacs! + lily-of-the-valley + note vaguely reminding pear blossom + minty note of emulsion paint? (at that phase it smells like Purplelight or some Herbal Essences shampoo).
This one and Marigold Gardenia are the best Embraces.

I tried this today for the first time, as I was walking past a tester. I’d seen it but never thought to try it as, the green tea aspect put me off it to be honest. I know it’s an incredibly popular range, however Elizabeth Ardens’ green tea perfumes were a high school favourite for many and simply weren’t and still aren’t my cup of tea (yep, see what I did there 😉 ).
I was pleasantly surprised with this. So fresh and mellow. Really comforting and energising. Rejuvenating. I must admit that while I have quite an eclectic taste in fragrance, I do tend to lean more towards deeper, spicier scents, so this really did catch me by surprise. if you are after something refreshing and easy to wear, I would recommend this. It’s not a statement fragrance or for evening wear, but I’d personally wear it to work, lunch, gym, out of the shower etc.

This is very good for the price. I LOVE green tea fragrances, but Elizabeth Arden’s is a little weak for me. This one has more personality and backbone. It’s perfect for getting out of the shower and going to work. I do a lot of computer work, and the fresh tea scent keeps me feeling energized and focused.

This fragrance is really nice, I picked up the body spray version from Target and I have to say that I really like it. It’s uncomplicated, fresh, vibrant, and mellow. These are the qualities I look for in a lot of scents or body sprays. I love to wear scents like this when I’m not quite sure what to wear. With spring right around the corner, I’m sure this will be a go to body spray for me well into the heart of summer.
For the scent itself, I feel like it smells a lot like the lobby of a nice Hotel. Green, fresh, hints of tea and beautiful florals.

I made a mistake on “This perfume reminds of” I accidentally put “Pure by Alfred Sung” It was suppose to be “Shi by Alfred Sung”.
At first spray, I must say it smelled flower green with hint of woods, in a good way. After about ten minutes it went to Aqua with greens flowers woodsy still okay yet, remind me of those Aqua perfumes. Then it started to become Masculine smell that the men wear (the cologne Man) which I don’t care for in men colognes. It also started to smell like Shi by Alfred Sung, which I did like but not enough to say Wow and never re-bought it. Over all this to me became loud not sharp, I felt like (the perfume lady Lol). Good thing I put it on couple of hours before arriving to the Christmas gathering. This was not my cup of tea. If you like “shi” “Acgua di gio” etc.. then you enjoy this. If i did like water fragrance I would rate this 5/10

I find this very similar to Chanel Cristalle but 2/3 of the price. The pear blossom, peony, green tea and freesia are the most predominant and the musky dry down perfectly suitable and subtle for summer wear. The only disappointment is that it does not last. Save yourself a few bucks and go to KMART, yes KMART, and get the spray for under &10.00 and have at it. You can’t apply too much because like a summer day, sadly, you blink and it is gone.

This is quite lovely. Fresh, a little sweet and very clean without being harsh.
You cannot ever over spray this. It has zero projection and zero staying power.
This is by far the weakest scent I have ever owned. Dove bar soap lasts longer than this.

I have given this to my mother for Christmas two years in a row. She is in assisted living, so it’s best not to have expensive possessions around and this is the right price. She loves it, though it’s so light she goes through it very fast. As a younger woman, she drenched herself in heavy, gasp-inducing woody-florals with a sort of metallic note (aldehyde?) like an olfactory dagger. Seriously, her kids all hated those. This one is lovely, but sadly short-lived, especially by her drenching standards.
I’d definitely recommend this and others in the Vera Wang Embrace line for adolescent or college age girls, or women who don’t want their scent to overwhelm coworkers!

This scent wears like a soft whisper. I own the rollerball version and whenever I put on a suit or a nice dress, I dab it on my neck and wrists and feel like the most poised, elegant, and professional person ever. The green tea is lovely and the florals add some femininity. Drydown is lovely, not too sweet and not too musky.

this will be great in warm weather. it’s a fresh, light fragrance. i smell more pear than tea, but overall it’s a cheerful little gem, altho not long lasting at all, maybe an hour. i would like to try the others in the embrace collection, i think they would all be great for spring.

Soo last summer on a very hot day I was in target in the beauty section I came across 4 perfume testers on display racks that stated “embrace” at first I just noticed the colors of the perfumes and realized they were different scents all in the same ” Embrace collection” so I tested them all and this one was my favorite out of them all it is very refreshing smells exactly what it states “green tea and pear blossom” it smells very “zen” almost calming.. this is a great scent! perfect for spring and summer I have never smelled a scent like this before not even Elizabeth Arden’s “Green Tea” compares to this! I’ve had 2 bottles soo far it is winter right now here in OH and I’ve noticed it does not last very long in the cold weather doesn’t stay on the skin.. it’s a skin scent and sinks into your skin leaving a beautiful refreshing aroma behind.. in warmer weather the scent really lingers even until the next day! anyways if you have not tried this or the others from the “embrace collection” go to target, kohl’s, or Walmart!! Try e’m out! :)..

Tested this today at Walmart. First sniff from the bottle was pretty unremarkable compared to the other “Embrace” fragrances. Decided to spritz on my wrist and continue with my shopping. It’s fresh, pleasant, and reminded me SO much of another scent I couldn’t put my finger on. By the time I finished my shopping, it hit me: this is nearly an exact dupe of Coach Poppy Flower! I went through a small bottle of Poppy Flower a few years ago so I know the scent well. If you’re a fan of that fragrance, you’ll like this one by Vera Wang. Not bad for the price point. Sillage and longevity are pretty meh, though, but I remember that was the case with Poppy Flower as well.

I got to try this at Target today. It started off promising, a beautiful and simple green tea with fruity floral undertones. The green tea note faded away in a matter of minutes though. It’s then a light pear floral. So.. this is okay, pretty generic, inoffensive, and fresh. Just not what I want, which is green tea. I actually dislike this scent once the green tea is gone.

I usually stay away from green scents but in this case it is lovely.
Pear blossom and green tea are the scents throughout the top, middle and drydown. This is my favorite from the embrace collection!

This morning, my husband suddenly commented about a faint scent of spring flowers in the room despite the fact that it was raining and all the windows were closed. He was sitting about 8ft away, but what he was smelling was GREEN TEA & PEAR BLOSSOM, which I’d applied a few minutes earlier.
So there you have it. I wouldn’t say this fragrance smells much like either green tea or pear blossoms specifically, but it’s fresh, light and pretty and smells like spring. I usually prefer bolder, more exotic scents, but sometimes I’m in the mood for uncomplicated florals that aren’t sweet or heavy. Also, there’s no vanilla in this fragrance, which contributes to the airy quality. For the first hour or so I pick up a subtle earthy note which then gives way to a hint of the sandalwood. I also pick up fresh-cut apple slices in there, although this isn’t listed.
Despite the strong start to the sillage, GREEN TEA & PEAR BLOSSOM fades down to a skin-scent fairly quickly and is pretty much gone within 3 hours. For this reason, it’s not worth paying full price for it, but I had a bunch of store “loyalty coupons” that brought the cost down to just a few bucks, so I don’t mind having to re-apply throughout the day.

Lovely, but the price point is far too high for this product. Longevity is minimal. Will be waiting for this one to hit TJ Maxx or Gordmans!

I don’t like floral but this is not bad. It’s ok!! Very soft maybe that’s why I can stand it!I do get the pear and that’s another reason I think it’s ok. Does smell more higher end too!!

It’s nice, fresh, and not annoying but not memorable either. The staying power is better on my skin than on the clothes, however, it is gone completely after a couple hours.

The Green Tea & Pear Blossom fragrance is lovely for spring. I’ve been wearing it for a couple hours and can still smell it. The top notes are definitely the florals; pear blossom and freesia. The green tea rounds out the middle, and it dries down to a slightly creamy finish with the sandalwood. It’s very pleasant and fresh. It reminds me of Avon Haiku a bit.

    ;->>>>>>
Oh how I wish someone would produce a solid long lasting PEAR frag.
This one is pleasant at best. The pear vanishes in under a minute. Maybe that is not even the point here? Either way; smells like a very high end body spray when all is said and done. Pretty but forgettable.
BLIND BUY? no. Red Sticker Sale @ T.J. Marshalls for 9.99? Sure.

When I was little I had a lovely Disney Perfume that smelled exactly like this. I could smell this VW one all day only to remember my childhood and the 90s.

Very pleasant and fresh, though it faded faster than I would have liked. It is light and flowery, and I got a lot of freesia in the middle, which I love. I also love the bottle and the pale green color too. I doubt I would buy a full bottle, but it’s a very nice, feminine scent that whispers of spring.

This is a beautiful, fresh fragrance that reminds me a lot of angel tea. The pear blossom is very prominent from start to finish. Unfortunately, as other reviewers have already pointed out, the longevity of this perfume is very poor.

I LOVE the fragance but it does NOT LAST AT ALL. Such a pitty. I would have bought it for ever… 🙁

The freshest of the three Embrace line. The other two are too sweet, having a vintage feel, one of them smells like something Houbigant would make in the Queles Fleurs vein.
Update: Why does this smell so different to me a year later. Now it smells like honeysuckle ar the start and ends with a fruity, trendy scent a little like B.S. Curious.

I love this. I just bought the roller ball from Walgreen’s. I plan to buy the bigger perfume later. So green and fresh. It’s one of those that smells like a feminine take on cologne. Which I’m normally not a fan of, but the green tea saves the day. I love it!

Yesterday I was in a mad rush to find the perfect fragrant gift for my friend’s 30th birthday. She loves anything fresh, green or soapy so in retrospect it shouldn’t have been difficult to find something, but believe me the poor selection of fragrances in my suburb made it a task and a half.
Just before giving in I spied three small bottles on the shelf above me, and after reading Green Tea and Pear Blossom I asked the sales assistant to unlock the cabinet to allow me the chance to test this new scent. Despite being rather inexpensive, Green Tea and Pear Blossom is a beautiful, crisp and feminine scent.
The notes of green tea and pear blossom are in perfect harmony with one another. Whilst nothing particularly outstanding, this fragrance is the ideal choice for Spring and Summer due to its soft, green and clean aroma.
If you’re a fan of Bvlgari’s Eau Parfumee au The Vert, Issey Miyake Pour Femme or Giorgio Armani’s Acqua di Gioia you’ll more likely than not enjoy this subtle fragrance too. It’s a more grown-up offering from the Vera Wang brand, nothing like the teen inspired Princess or Lovestruck range.
Not surprisingly I purchased Green Tea and Pear Blossom for my friend and the gift was received with a smile and an enthusiastic thank-you.

I have a few in my top ten that are from Vera so I decided to try this today. Big no 🙁 I was sad about that. In theory it should smell lovely, if you base it on the name! Sadly not the case! Seems like a headache inducing nightmare

This one is subtle, fresh, green, and clean. It’s not wildly unique, but I do really like it. It’s perfect for a casual warm weather scent. I get pear blossom the most right away, then the tea comes out, and when it dries down I get little hints of cedar. I am sad that I don’t get more orange blossom since that’s one of my all time favorite notes, but still a very good overall fragrance. Very nice.

This is a lovely fragrance, light and summery. It opens more pear than tea, which I found a little disappointing; I really enjoy green tea scent. After a bit, the tea does become a bit stronger, but not by much, (it might actually be wishful thinking on my part). It cycles fairly quickly into florals–more peony to my nose than anything else. Finally it settles into a light musk and if there’s sandalwood here, it’s very faint. I don’t get cedar at all.
What’s very disappointing is that it’s gone in less than two hours. If I put my nose to my skin I can smell the musk, which is light and pleasant. As for projection, it’s nearly non-existent, very much a skin scent. I was hoping for something that lasted longer than EA’s Green Tea (which I love but it has serious longevity problems), but while this perfume lasts a *little* longer, it’s not by much.
This is suitably light and non-oppressive for hot weather (summertime is hot and hellishly humid where I live) and this scent doesn’t turn heavy and cloying as many florals do. I like it very much, but for me, it doesn’t have a strong enough green tea scent, which is why I initially bought it blindly. For me, it’s more a simple floral, nice enough, very pleasant.
I could wear this to work (it’s light enough, I think) or while I’m out running errands, or something like going to doctor appointments. Very pleasant, pretty, but not what I really expected–it lacks the green tea which makes up half its name.
As always, body chemistry plays a huge role in how scents work for you. Your experience may be completely different from mine. I will use up the bottle over the course of the summer (it won’t last long, given I’ll have to reapply frequently), but will not re-purchase.
