Description

This summer Elizabeth Arden will treat us with a new composition of the popular line Green Tea which is based on a calming and feminine blend of green tea and several sorts of jasmine. The fragrance can be expected on the market starting from June 2015 and its pale green flacon and outer carton will be recognized on perfumery shelves for its white flowers covered with green tea leaves, making this year’s decoration more charming and cheerful.

ELIZABETH ARDEN GREEN TEA JASMINE reveals its tea notes in the very beginning mixing them with icy mint and Tunisian neroli. Refreshment originates from citruses—sunny mandarin and bergamot, illuminating floral-tea notes. The heart develops several sorts of jasmine (night blooming jasmine, grandiflorum jasmine, white jasmine) mixed with optimistic orange blossom and violet leaves, resting on mate tea, amber and musk in the base. The perfumer of the new summer composition is Rodrigo Flores-Roux.

Fragrance Green Tea Jasmine arrives as 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

This is the one that is a.) great for layering and b.) the one that deviates, without losing the green tea (i.e Nectarine Blossom)
Firstly, I say this is great for layering due to its uncanny ability to project a strong jasmine where the green tea mainly stays in the background. For the price point, you get amazing value on the jasmine. Don’t expect a Chanel like jasmine (although it goes greatly beneath Chanel jasmines like Coco Made and Gabrielle), but more a garden variety one. Very green, very light but very realistic.
Secondly, this is not a fragrance to be underestimated. I always buy the green tea scents without reading too many reviews beforehand so I never know what to expect. This, Camelia, Nectarine Blossom and Summer have ALL knocked me off my feet. The white floral presence in this is stunning.
    Very beautiful.
    Value for money: 10/10
    Scent: 7/10
Longevity: 6/10. With moisturiser or being layered, this shines on for at least 4 hours
Individuality: 4/10. It’s part of the green tea line after all.

The first fragrance I’ve ever gotten & it still remains one of my favourite. Perfect for summer time.

How strange! My first perfume given to me as a gift when I was about 11 was Coty Ghost Myst and when I first sprayed this is was virtually identical! I wouldn’t have thought they would have anything in common but when you look at the notes there are a few similarities in there so there you go. If you liked Ghost Myst which has been discontinued then you might want to try this.

Beautiful bottle which instantly makes you dream of summer, and the fragrance itself sounds very promising according to the composition. I am so going to add this to my Green Tea collection…

I hope this one deviates from the line like Honeysuckle and Lavender do. Most of them are too similar, I won’t live long enough to use up my 13? versions.
If two people compare this to Ghost Myst, and other sites call that a Pleasures dupe, um, maybe I won’t buy untested.

I think I’ve had most of these flankers… can’t wait to try this one!

    I am so getting this.
When i first started getting interested in smells and perfume, jasmine tea was one of the nicest smells i had ever encountered and one I was always looking for in perfumes. Let”s hope it smells as good as a cup of jasmine tea
