I expected more green tea but got more citrus. It’s very sharp at the beginning, my kids said it smells like bathroom freshner(sorry but that’s the truth).
It’s not as bad as that, it’s an OK-ish scent, it’s fresh, that’s for sure, suitable in my opinion only for the most informal occasions, like around the house, shopping, etc.
    Longevity 6/10, Sillage 4/10

    Fragrance -Green Tea Al-Rehab
    Bottle(roll-on) from – 2016
This fragrance has a calming effect on me,just like a green tea.
It opens on my skin with a bit harsh, fresh and green mix of lemon and anise and with a hint of green tea.
During mid development, green tea becomes stronger and more intense with a wisper of soft musk.
This all leads into a musky, green and woody base with the tender trace of sandalwood.
    Longevity – 6/10(6+hours)
    Silage/Projection – 6,5/10(moderate projection for the first 1-2 hours)
Weather – Best in spring and summer.
    Versatility – 9/10
    Age – 19+
    Compliments – 7/10
    Scent – 7/10
Main notes according to me –
    green tea,citruses,lemon,anise,sandalwood,musk.
The drydown is musky, green and woody and i get some woodiness, green tea, musk and sandalwood.
    Emotions – calming effect,fresh,clean,pleasant,relax.
Occasion -For more or less any ocasion.Perfect for casual activities, college and office.
Green Tea is a safe choice for everyday wear.Nice fragrance, unbelievable price.

I’m really amazed at how I get more enjoyment out of this $5 attar than many expensive colognes. It smells like green tea with lemon, and is a very ozonic and realistic take on the green tea aroma. It sounds simple but the two scents blend beautifully and it is definitely one of the greatest fragrances I’ve ever owned. I personally think it is the greatest fragrance released by al-Rehab to date (and I’ve tried quite a few) as I absolutely love the scents of both green tea and lemon. It is also totally unisex. Sillage is very good while longevity is very good for a fresh fragrance at over 6 hours (longer if more is applied on skin). Overall I’m thoroughly pleased by this fragrance by al-Rehab.

P.S. This is far superior in every possible way to Elizabeth Arden Green Tea

Nice cheap dupe of Elizabeth Arden Green Tea. Very inoffensive and pleasant.

I must say at first that fragrances that fall under the “fresh”, “uplifting”, or “citrusy” category do not usually intrigue me. I am mostly a lover of heavy-based orientals and vintage chypres, and, with the few warm-weather, daytime fragrances that I own, I tend to be quite scrutinizing of their entire development from first application through the entire drydown before I accept them into the folds of my collection, and into rotation. Al Rehab’s ‘Green Tea’ layers the tartness of lemon peel and the slight bitterness of fresh tea leaves against an indescribable canvas of sweet blossoms and sweet musk- all in perfect balance.

A linear scent, not a bad thing of course. Reminds me of iced lemon tea. Too bad the silage is a bit too soft.

It is the smell of green tea and lemon. That is pretty much what you get. Longevity is below average. A great clean scent. I would recommend for home, after a shower. It works for men and women, I would think.

Nice scent. Can be worn by either men or women. It’s not feminine like some women are claiming. Apparently they don’t have feminine perfumes. Nor is this masculine. It’s just a nice fresh green lemon scent. Nothing dramatic.. just nice

I found this to be pretty much all lemony citrus and while it’s pleasant enough it fades in minutes. I didn’t get much of the tea note at all, particularly not like the modern tea note typically expected in perfumes. There is a slight background of non-specific green, but mostly lemon.
I’ve only tried a couple of other Al Rehab oils and for the price they can’t be beaten on longevity, sillage and often complexity of the fragrance, but despite green tea being my favourite note in perfume, this just didn’t do it for me. Their other offerings though are well worth investigating at this price point.

I think it’s like the smell coming out of your nose when you drink a glass of cold lemon tea. Refresing for your self, secretly.

This is a fresh green citrus smell worth having. Its not complex but it’s nice and clean and certainly has a its use. I compared it to other fresh citrus perfumes (one called Active by Pecksniff’s, costs £45 for 100ml) and the rehab one stays longer than that one. Saying that, green tea doesn’t last that long compared to other oil perfumes I tried bit it’s decent enough.

Green Tea by Al-Rehab is a fresh summer scent that is good value for money. I bought a box of six 6ml’s for next to nothing.
It is good to keep one in your desk at work, one for car etc.
Scent wise it is fresh and sharp and despite being marked as Unisex I believe it leans more to the feminine side.
Great to use when you need to freshen up a bit but don’t want to be spraying cologne or perfume.
    Nice 🙂

Bought it based on reviews here and I have to say I like Has a bright punch of citrus, a lot of non-floral green, just a hint of deep musky spice that comes out after a few hours. Very fresh and clean, lasts a long time on the skin.

I like this one, but it fades very quickly on my skin. It is very light and summery, citrusy but not too sharp, and overall really nice to smell. Fortunately I didn’t get the harsh lemon as others did (surprisingly enough, as I usually do). The tea is more subtle than the citrus. I was waiting for it to become more prominent on the dry down, but it didn’t last that long. This is definitely the lightest of the Al rehabs I have tried so far, and one of only a very few that I would feel I could wear in hot weather. Very unisex and fresh. All my Al rehab oils are blind buys, and I’m happy to have found one that works on me. So far, 3 are successes, and 7 were complete fails. They are so cheap I can still enjoy taking rhe risk. The anticipation alone is worth the price! If anyone is interested in comparing notes, PM me!

It does not smell like Green Tea in the meanning of modern green tea scents. It is citrusy and green and a bit herbal(mostly mint). I like it, it is long lasting and I will layer it with my rose eau de cologne to give a little citrusy sharpness to its light, sweet, powdery softness.

I try today Green tea, and its simple marvelous fragrance, un like other high cost niche fragrances, the combination of citruses and tea are jus refreshing uplifting and very, very, very natural oils, good quality stuff, for the money their worth every penny and much more, unisex tones very linear but all the way you wont stop sniffing your self and will translate you to a very nice tea gathering in spring and summer surrounded by lots of friends, this stuff really makes my happppypy!!!!!

Really great, refreshing and a bit sweet. The combo of tea and citrus is really nice here. Also this one smells pretty much the same as Hammam Tesori d`Oriente.

although this is a unisex fragrance i feel that it’s more suitable for men. both of the notes listed are noticeable. i wanted to like this coz i love citrus and green tea. but it’s just not happening.

I don’t really smell the green tea scent. I only smell the scent of leaf or something green, and the citrusy scent. Really light, soft, and clean. But nothing special.

I was not a fan of this attar. I found the lemon note screechy and a bit linear, My grandmother, on the other hand, is a huge fan of this fragrance. She described it as a “cool lemony glass of green tea.” She is excited to take it back home to Florida to wear in the hot weather. She also felt it smelt really clean. She appreciates clean smelling perfumes in hot muggy weather.

I just love this, I keep finding myself thinking about it regardless of what I’m wearing at the time.
Longevity is pretty good but I still finding myself putting a little more on during the day ‘just because’.
It’s also so darn convenient in a roller ball form, I wish all my scents were this way.
I love it enough I just ordered 8 other Al-Rehab scents and I can’t wait until they get here.

Very uplifting! The base note is so lovely and gentle but amazingly long lasting! Definitely worth trying it out! High chance you will not regret!

It’s a clean fresh smell – quite lovely, really. But I would have expected more longevity from a perfume OIL.

I bought some fake lemons to put in a kitchen decoration. If those lemons could smell, this is what they’d smell like. Plastic lemon. Enough said.

  30. :

This is brilliant. Perfect, just perfect for the hot summer days. The smell is citrusy, clean, and natural, it basically has the smell of a freshly squeezed lemon.
The beginning is very citrusy, but after a while it tones down and you can also feel the green tea.
For its price, go for it !

Oh yes! The sun has definitely got his hat on today.
I received this thru’ the post this morning after blind-buying it on eBay.
It’s just wonderful. I can’t remember the last time I discovered a fragrance so fresh-smelling.
It’s very citrusy but not at all overpowering, like a lemon/green tea combination. It isn’t cloying, sticky or sickly, it’s just super-clean and very light.
I opted for the 6ml rollerball application and I have to say that I only used two small dabs on my wrist approx 3 hours ago and it’s showing no sign of waning or evaporating. It sits pretty close to the skin so it’s by no means a sillage beast but that’s what I like about it. It’s inoffensive yet noticable.
Definitely one to dab after showering on a sunny day / evening.
It’s blindingly obvious by the name that this is not a dark or brooding fragrance, nor does it project an air of intrigue or mystery. It just screams ‘cleanliness’ and I could imagine some men finding it a little too bright or feminine to grace their torsos but for me – not so. I’m loving it.
For the price (£1.99), this really is ridiculously good. I have smelled a handful of niche perfumes which have a price tag of £100+ that don’t (imo) smell as good as this but hey, leave them to it, I say.
I’ll definitely have some more of this (when this bottle has gone).
Thanks to all the previous reviewers for persuading me to try it.
Bargain of the decade thus far.

Unbelievably fresh & heavenly! Reminds me of hamam soap (Available in India). Looses the citrus tang and quite a bit of the tea as well after about 20 min of application. Then it develops this amazing ozonic note which, is like smelling the mist on a foggy morning.
Still cant digest the fact that it costs close to nothing.
    Hats off Al Rehab.

This is a wonderful light fragrance you can wear everyday. I much prefer this to EA Green Tea. This stuff smells like green tea with lemon. It’s great! I cannot get over how cheap but good these Al Rehab perfume oils are.

My favorite plain ol’ green tea scent is al-rehab green tea. Before I tried this one, I liked roxy love a lot, which I still think is good but not as perfect of a match as al-rehab green tea is for me.
I have the oil and agree it is very potent for green tea and citrus being such light scents. I applied it to my neck at 3 today and could smell it just fine at 9 over the sushi bar smells of my work place. I hadn’t applied much either. I think my favorite part about this citrus/green tea scent is that it’s very moderate. It’s not a heady/herbal intense tea smell, but it’s not a watered down synthetic tea smell either. It’s inbetween, a nice balance that doesn’t smell fake but isn’t too herbal. The citrus adds just a touch of sweetness, and I’m not sure if there is musk in here or not but there is a nice crispness like a white musk had been added. I would pick this one over roxy love because I think roxy love smells more sythetic, esp. with roxy love’s musk and floral notes IMO.
Al-rehab green tea is perfect for everyday wear IMO.

Wow this is lovely it will be a great addition to my summer wardrobe. Green tea scents aren’t my speciality so I cannot really say this is better than xyz but in the past I tried The Vert from L’Occitane and thought yea I might buy this one day and split with a friend but realistically I wouldn’t wear this scent too often and it would have been quite expensive therefore. Al Rehab Green Tea is a good budget option and even though this isn’t exactly a sillage monster imo a 6ml roller will probably last ages even if you reapply throughout the day as I did yesterday. What I found surprising is that there is still some warmth to the scent, so wearing it on a winter’s day was not uncomfortable and I was able to appreciate its beauty. Well done, another succesful Al Rehab job. If you are a bit adventurous you could try layering this too. I put on some AL Rehab Jasmine to try but it easily overpowered Green Tea which is much gentler, so be careful not to kill this soft scent.

I just received about 5 Al-Rehab scents in the post today and I’m afraid this is my least favourite on first sniff. I’ve got it on the back of my hand and the first thing that hits you is the citrus. This perfume, on first sniff, smells more like tea tree oil. I’ll provide an update later.
UPDATE: I thought this would develop on my skin but it didn’t – it still smells of tea tree oil.

I’m a fan of green tea scents and this is my favourite. This perfume oil has a touch of citrus blended with the green notes, so it’s perfect as a morning scent. It doesn’t scream at you, and is great for sitting on the porch with a morning cup of tea, walking the dog, doing some gardening. When I need to concentrate and focus, I’ll also apply a dab because it clears my mind. A wonderful addition to any perfume-lover’s wardrobe.

i think that it’s citrus and lemon more than gree tee ,what a big loss !! but anyway it’s a very good and BRIGHT fragrance I’ll buy it oneday , but if you’re looking for something like Elizabeth arden green tee this is not what you are looking for

I love this! I had no idea green tea could smell so good. This is so beautiful; citrus with tea. It’s a lemony, orange citrus – really natural, clean, fresh & uplifting. A perfect summer scent and also goes really well with Al-Rehab’s “Roses” & “Red Roses” which are powerhouse roses and with “White Full”, a really natural, strong jasmine. So many blending possibilities but it’s gorgeous on its own.
I put on one tiny dab, rubbed my wrists together & kaboom! The scent is amazing & strong. This was an excellent buy.
The longer I wear this, the more it reminds me of Prada Infusion D’Iris but I think I actually prefer this because it has a little more citrus brightness & less powder – it’s not so austere. Wow & for only $3.20 + shipping!

Brilliant scent. Very uplifting and easy to wear. Unisex and clean. If you are fond of green tea scents, this is superior to all that I’ve tried: Bvlgari The Vert, L’Occitane and Elizabeth Arden.
Al Rehab Green Tea does not have amazing longevity or sillage, but neither do the big name brands. This I can apply very liberally and actually enjoy.

  43. :

What a great scent. This reminds me of Prada Infusion D’ Iris or Bvlgari Omnia Green Jade. Very nice, non offensive clean scent.

I am so glad I got this little wonder! I must admit that when I first opened the bottle I got a bit discouraged because it smelled predominantly bitter but I reluctantly applied it to see what happens anyway. After a few minutes I began smiling very happily when I realized that I was surrounded by this adorable green scent that smells highly sophisticated and expensive. This is THE purest green freshness that projects so nicely and lasts quite a while. I could not ask for more from a perfume that smells like green tea, it exceeded all my expectations!

  45. :

    5 out of 5

Not as fresh and clean as I was hoping, has a bitter undertone, unfortunately. I will probably never wear it.Should be a little sweeter.
    Shame.

This could be a 100EUR scent easily.
It is exquisite, fresh and clean smelling, super pretty girl next door gorgeous.
It would suit all ages, it’s inoffensive, it’s not heavy, the projection is delicate and it’s perfect for a dinner with the in-laws, work, walk in the park in spring and summer, shopping, lunch with the girls, school…. road trip. I dunno SO versatile and NICE!!
It is pure green tea with a few lemons thrown in, I might actually change that to ICED green tea because it smells slightly cool.
This was love at first smell. It will be for you as well, I dare you!
    Try it, it won’t disappoint!

  47. :

    4 out of 5

I have a 6ml roll on of this, alcohol free perfume oil. It cost me about £2!
WOW! This must be the ultimate green tea smell. Really, this smells exactly like good green tea – not the cheap supermarket own brand teas but the expensive fine high quality teas.
I have tried a few green tea based perfumes over the years – some are fairly accurate as tea scents, some smell nothing like actual green tea but most have been fairly light and pale, especially in comparison to this. At first I just got TEA (not brewed tea, the leaves) and then this just seemed to melt into my skin and become just beautiful. I have never enjoyed a green tea scent quite as much.
Longevity is amazing, lasting a good 12 hours on me, with moderate projection, this warms with your skin and creates an aura of scent around you.
Over the day this becomes so soft, so feminine, so clean and fresh and uplifting, it really is a joy. The scent of tea itself is, in my opinion quite complex, and this has all those subtleties and complexities. There is a faint, slightly exotic sweet muskiness that I find in all al-rehab oils that I have tried, it isn’t listed in the notes so maybe it is just the base carrier they use.
This is perfect for days when you don’t want anything heavy but you do want a good scent with longevity and some projection. Very clean and uplifting, and so cheap!
Really, if you like or want to try a green tea scent you cannot go wrong with this – a couple of quid, neat little bottle with rollerball applicator that you can pop in your handbag, lovely smell – you can’t go wrong!
