لقد استخدمت وجربت الكثير من العطور ذات المكونات الشرقية (عود – بخور – توابل) والتي أصبح استخدامها مؤخرا يمثل اتجاها لدى أكبر شركات العطور العالمية
ولأنني أقتني دهن العود الطبيعي وأيضا بخور العود والورد الطائفي، فكانت أغلب العطور التي تنتجها هذه الشركات مهما كانت باهظة القيمة كانت تأتي دون هذه المكونات الطبيعية.
قد يكون ما كتبته هو ما دار في ذهن جيفري نيومان وهي تقوم بتوليف عطر إمير وكذلك الإصدار الخاص منه.
لأن مرد خلط العود ببعض الورود والأخشاب والتوابل مع اضافة العنبر والفيتيفير وربما الفانيلا والسكاكر والعسل. هذا الخليط قد اصبح مألوفا ومتوقعا لدى مستخدمي العطور.
لكن ان يتقاسم العود والجريب فروت والفلفل الأبيض والبتشول والمسك ونفحات قوية من البرتقال تقريبا بنسب شبه متساوية مكونات عطر هذا العطر
أعتقد أن هذه هي العلامة الفارقة في عطر إمير عن سائر عطور المكونات الشرقية.
ولذلك جاء تصنيف هذا العطر رغم وجود مكون العود بكثافة فيه على أنه عطر (أخشاب وتوابل) وليس أورينتال أي شرقي ولو بأي صفة.
هذا هو الإبداع الحقيقي في عطر إمير من ميكاليف.
أن تتذوق العود مغلفا وسط هذه المجموعة التي أبدعت جيفري في اختيارها والمجازفة بها أيضا، لتخرج لك في النهاية عطرا فريدا (غربيا بلمحة شرقية) أو لنقل (عطرا شرقيا بمذاق غربي)
المكونات غاية في النقاء خاصة الجريب فروت والبرتقال والفلفل الأبيض والبتشول.
الحمضيات: تجعله عطرا صيفيا فريدا.
العود: يجعله عطرا شتويا باقتدار.
الفلفل الأبيض: يجعله عطرا دافئا.
البتشول والمسك: يجعلانه عطرا مثيرا وجذابا وعميقا بذات الوقت.
زهرة الجيرانيوم وأخشاب الأرز ونبات الساغ من العائلة المريمية: يجعلونه عطرا لطيفا منعشا.
هذا هو ما فعلته جيفري نيومان لتضعه داخل هذه الزجاجة العطرية الفريدة

I like a lot of what is going on this fragrance but there is one thing that ruins it for me. The geranium and musk used in the fragrance envelops it and pulls off an over all dry soapy feel. With that being said I really love what is going on underneath the musk. Soft fruitiness mixed with leather, oud and spice. After quite some time the fragrance gets better for me. That dry soapy feeling calms down and what I love about the fragrance shows it’s face more. I shows a little more spice towards the end. Over all nothing I am really thrilled with. I asked a lady what she thought about it at work and she said soap mixed with urinal cake, lol. Now I don’t know about that but I def feel the soapy part. Longevity and projection are excellent.

Very odd and strange and beautiful at the same time. Emir is a connection between arabian and european style. If you don’t like smell of oud wood – avoid it. If you are brave enough to smell like a men’s toilet – go for it! Girls love it…. or hate it sometimes (my wife) 🙂

I love this smell… (!!!) Agarwood+Citruses=evening time bomb!
It’s kind of sweet and peppery yet very masculine.
