I was afraid this was going to be rank on me, but it dries down to the most delicious not-too-sweet milky scent that blends extremely well with my skin. I wear it to bed and it’s so very comforting.

I smelled this on my friend and had to get it. I went online to buy it right away and got a full set. I thought I bought the perfect vanilla that wasn’t too vanilla if you guys know what I mean. Then quickly the perfume started to smell awful. I truly believe it doesn’t smell the same from when I first opened it. I’m not sure if it just “expires” extremely fast (and by fast I mean like 6 months) or I just got tired of it, but I agree with others that it smells like spoiled/sour milk. I get so nauseous wearing it. I just swapped the whole set and am so happy I did so.

Not a fan. I love gourmands, and generally sweeter perfumes are more my jam. I tried this on expecting a kind of sweet vanilla ice cream sort of scent, but that was not the case. Upon first spray, it smelled like sour milk poured on top of a moldy fruit salad. This odor was not only on my skin, but also on a fragrance test strip. A few hours later, it faded to a more benign but still icky expired vanilla yogurt smell. I apologize for not knowing too much about notes and more helpful perfume anatomy, but this is my most honest description.

I have had the same experience as @Vanilla panda with this fragrance. Though I haven’t had the bttle too long, only a year and a half roughly, and have kept it out of heat and away from natural light, the scent has changed from light, fresh and creamy to sickly, sticky sweet with a tinge of booze. The color of the juice has also darkened to a light caramel color, which is probably a sure indicator that the bottle is going bad. I’m disappointed that the fragrance has not lasted long but I like the normal scent so much that I might just buy the smallest bottle this winter and use it up then.

As a vanilla whipped cream or crème Chantilly lover, I enjoy that delicious, regressive gourmand: not too sweet, not sticky.
Just straight to the point, yet delicate, thanks to very light florals.
Comforting, lactonic confectionery vanilla, with fresh whipped cream undertone.
Macadamia and tonka aren’t clearly detectable: just enough to give that airy whipped cream some body.
For years, my nose was extremely sensitive to perfumes (much less now).
Even fragrances I loved at 1st place would trigger ineluctably nausea-inducing headaches 2 weeks later.
Fresh Cream was the only one that never made me sick or even bored.
Recently, I became a bit alarmed because the scent sort of changed.
It’s now a smoky, boozy vanilla with a plastic doll head and sour breast milk finish.
Actually, I don’t find it nasty, just different.
But I can’t use it anymore to quench my confectionery vanilla cravings.
Longevity was weak already, when bottle was new. It’s close to nil now.
I’m wondering whether my bottle got spoilt???
That would be such a shame, because I fiercely protect ALL my cosmetics from light and heat.
Did this happen to any of you, fellow Fragranticians?
Now, I’m considering moving on earlier than planned to Comptoir Sud Pacifique’s Vanilla Extreme.
PS: don’t waste your money on the shower gel from that line.
It’s just hardly scented product spilling down the drain.
So discontent I am with their body lines I’ve commented about those on my review for Philosophy’s Baby Grace.

This really does smell like I walked into Coldstone Creamery or Dairy Queen or some other chain ice cream store where the air is thick with vanilla soft serve and waffle cone smells. Honestly, it was too much sweetness for me, admittedly not a huge gourmand fan but I still enjoy experiments. I ended up wearing it layered with Banana Republic Rosewood, which is also a vanilla scent but has enough woody tones in it to balance out the dessert festival. Fresh Cream lends itself well to layering, so use it to sweeten up things that might feel too dark or serious for you. Personally, I can’t really see wearing this on it’s own. It feels immature to walk around smelling like a tub of frosting, but to each his own…

Comments such as ‘I can smell spoilt milk’ and worse ‘you smell bad’ has meant I’ll never wear this again!! I could smell it all day, great wafts of milky smell. It was noticeable and I can’t say it was pleasant- it was just a smell , and it’s pretty weird to smell of spoilt milk 🙁

Fresh Cream gives me vivid flashbacks to my first summer job working at an ice cream stand on the boardwalk as a teen. Unfortunately, this is a nauseating memory and not nostalgia! The cream note here is just like the sickly sour dairy smell of melting soft serve that would stick to my clothes and skin after a shift. That job actually turned me off to eating ice cream for quite a while.

I have to agree with a lot of the reviews below.
Some perfumes can be extremely sweet, even gourmand but still be a good quality, and wearable perfume. Others….can be of a smell that doesn’t seem usable in a perfume way. This regrettably…is one of them.
It literally smells like vanilla ice cream. I was excited to receive it due to a lot of the positive reviews. I sprayed it…and I found myself confused.
It’s definitely TOO sweet…and that is coming from someone who loves Jessica Simpson Fancy, mind you.
I’m gonna try using this as a room spray…but in small quantities. Maybe see if 1-2 sprays on my couch or something will be more applicable for a smell like this. But it honestly just does not work on the skin. It’s so odd to wear vanilla ice cream as a perfume.
This brand does make some amazing and clean fragrances to end with something positive. But this one is just too…”foody” and far too sweet to be enjoyable. So unfortunately this one gets a thumbs down from me. I still like a lot of the company’s offerings though so I deff wouldn’t write-off Philosophy as a whole.

This is very powerful on me; two sprays is too much and becomes cloying. One is just on the verge of feeling like I’m about to get diabetes… but it can be wonderful in cold weather, and very long lasting.

There are several problems with this perfume that compound the issues I have with it. When you first spray it, it smells like cupcake frosting. For me, it’s only a touch less sweet than the Bath and Body Works Vanilla bean Noel when you first spray it. However, within 20 minutes it’s barely present anymore! If you were to overload on it at first you’d smell like a pile of frosting, but if you don’t you can’t smell it after a short time.
What I do use this for is adding just a little mellow sweetness (after dry down it’s fairly subtle)to other perfumes that I think could benefit from it. So I am slowly using my small bottle of this. I love the smell on me, to be honest, but numerous people in my life have commented on the cheapness and sweetness of Fresh Cream, so I am generally cautious about overdoing it.

  12. :

    3 out of 5

Honestly, I didn’t think anything was too sweet for me until I put this on. This smells like middle school. It just smells cheap, it overpowers everything, and since I’m wearing the lotion, it won’t come off. If you’re feeling extra nostalgic for 2010, this would work, but it’s probably disgusting in any other context.

  13. :

    4 out of 5

Upon first spritz, it smells like cheap, harsh alcohol. Then it dies down to a soft powdery vanilla that lasts a whole 3 minutes. I wasn’t impressed to say the least.

  14. :

    3 out of 5

I have the fresh cream and mint spritz and love it so much that I decided to buy the fresh cream spritz. Unfortunately, the cream part doesn’t smell the same. The fresh cream has a almost spoiled milk smell to it. In the fresh cream and mint, it’s wonderful.
Guess I’ll try to resell it or swap it with someone.

  15. :

THIS smells identical to Bath and Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel only it doesn’t last as long and is softer. It’s nice but you can use an entire bottle in one day

  16. :

I’ve smelled this a couple times because I liked the idea of layering it with other perfumes I wanted to smell more creamy. Maybe this is because I do not like milk, but this smells like curdled milk to me. Not to many scents make me nauseous, but this one does. I’ve only smelled it on paper testers, can’t bring myself to put it on my skin.

Sweet milky cream. A fluffy light scent that lingers close to the skin. I quite enjoy this, but absolutely LOVE it paired with the body cream!!!
The Fresh Cream body lotion is heavenly. It’s actually because of some of the reviews below praising the body lotion that I picked up both and thank you! I layer the body lotion with other gourmand scents. I wear the lotion on its own. And of course I wear it with the Fresh Cream scent. I almost feel the lotion stays on longer and is stronger than the perfume itself!
I’ll wear the scent day and night and even to bed! My husband says when he lies down before I’m in bed he can smell the scent on the covers after me from the night before – probably because I douse myself with the scent and bathe in the cream! Haha!
If you like whipped cream, vanilla, sweet, sugary scents you must try this. Along with the body lotion!

Despite the name this fragrance is a powdery vanilla. The vanilla adds warmth but the powdery aspects come off as nearly smokey and aren’t like an incense but more like the smoke of a campfire sans the smell of wood or pine. It’s incredibly simple and the vanilla seems disjointed from the smoke/powder. This to me isn’t particularly bad but it isn’t mixed well. When I think of it I smell powdery marshmallows. This is definitely not outstanding as a stand alone fragrance and not worth purchasing in full size. This is from someone who loves simple and linear scents. With that said though, I received a smaller version of this for Christmas at request because I do enjoy it. It’s definitely for myself instead of going out. This to me is very good at warming up other dry fragrances, I like that it’s unobtrusive and a quiet vanilla. The silage is weak (which I prefer) and lasts about six hours on my skin but much longer on clothes. If you like soft vanilla you can wear it to the office and I feel that it’s a good scent for the holidays. Definitely not for date night or going out. This would be disappointing for anyone who wants something creamy or complex. It’s smells like milk but not milky. It’s not rounded out enough to convey that. It’s more milk like in the way that a baby’s hair holds milk that dries to a fine powder. I’m smelling my daughter’s head now and I personally feel that it’s captured in my perfume. I don’t mean that it has sour qualities, though some perfumes do subtly and enhance a fragrance, but the soft gentile qualities that make me feel nearly maternal. I don’t think the scent is cuddly at all though.

i love it. it’s smooth and creamy. vanilla but not overly sweet. i wear it in all seasons, you can spray a little lighter in warm weather, but i think it’s a great casual perfume for jeans and a tee. it lasts around 4 hours on my skin and then i can smell it very lightly.

I have been using the Fresh Cream body wash for about a year. I like the scent in this form because the aroma lasts until my shower is over. No carry over, which works for me. I usually wear Amazing Grace, Vera Bradley’s Rose Macaroon, or La vie est Belle as my daily choices.

  21. :

This reminds me so much of Bath & Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel, but with the edges softened up a lot. I like VBN, but it can be overpowering at times. Fresh Cream is very sweet but I don’t think it’s too sweet, nor do I ever find it overpowering. The lasting power doesn’t seem outstanding, but I still really like it. As far as sweet scents go this one is a winner in my book.

I was actually looking for a vanilla body lotion to layer with my V&R Flowerbomb perfume when I stumbled across the Philsophy Fresh Cream line. I initially bought the body lotion and liked the subtle vanilla smell (which layers nicely with most of my perfumes) and decided to buy the Fresh Cream perfume as well. It is definitely sweet, although I keep getting a tangy smell (maybe what some people are calling sour milk?). To me it smells salty though. And I almost want to say I get a hint of a buttery smell as well. So I would call this sweet vanilla cream with a sharp tang of salty butter or caramel. I don’t get any floral and very little powder. Because of the tang I don’t find it quite as sickeningly sweet as some vanilla fragrances can get. I do still smell it on my skin at the end of the day but probably mainly because I layer layer layer this with the lotion and the roller ball and I make sure to spritz on my clothes, not just my skin. I don’t think sillage is all that great. I imagine people within a foot of me can probably smell it, no further. I guess that’s not always a bad thing. Overall, as a basic vanilla fragrance, I really like this and will definitely rebuy.
Edit: It has just now occurred to me what I smell like when I wear this perfume. When I make pancakes I always add vanilla….I smell exactly like pancake batter with vanilla. And a few time now, I have gotten a whiff of it and it has reminded me of the smell of the sugary cereals I used to eat on as a kid in the 80’s.

I have had some ambivalent feelings on Fresh Cream. For me, the real variable to disaster or success is how I wear it. If I spray 2 concentrated, up close sprays onto my wrist and start sniffing, it is too much. Too much milk, too much sugar, and I have to wash it off. If I wear it in a loose way, such as some light spritzes to my arms and say, hair, then I am really kind of in love.
Yes it’s sweet. Don’t let anyone tell you it’s not that sweet. Embrace the sweet!
Husband says I smelled like “frosting.” I’m not even close to being a teenager, but I’m really actually ok with smelling like cake. Worn the right way, I see the comfort in something so sweetly vanilla like this. As you will hear with any philosophy scent, the magic doesn’t last, so take this baby in your bag and spray frequently to keep the vibe alive.
    Long love vanilla!

This fragrance is milky vanilla but it isn’t creamy at all. In fact, it’s extraordinarily powdery. To me, it is straight-up malted milk, like a Whopper without the chocolate.

I don’t get the sour milk vibe that others have mentioned. Maybe its just down to your skin chemistry? I love this. Now – the secret for me is layering this baby with cocoa based body lotions and sprays. I use organic cocoa butter under my body lotion. i want to eat myself. i also discovered that it goes REALLY well with Ulta’s Coconut Cream Body Mist. Oh yum. I also use Philosophy’s Apricot hair perfume with this and they’re a match made in heaven. I’m floating on a dreamy cloud of Fresh Creaminess 🙂

It starts out sweet and creamy, like you’re transported to an ice cream stand, AND then there’s some kind of milk smell. It’s about to turn. It gives me some anxiety. Will it turn? Am I nauseated? Do I like this?
At another point, it smells exactly like baby spit-up. The vanilla dry down is powdery soft and pleasant- low sillage.
    I don’t like it.

  30. :

I like this. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I do, as I tend to shy away from powder and floral notes.
Imagine preparing a cream-based frosting for a cake. Whipping cream, vanilla, a little bit of powdered sugar, and a splash of milk for consistency. This perfume is exactly that in a bottle. This one is sweet, but not too sweet. This is a very nice choice for the ladies who love a sweet gourmand but don’t quite want to smell like every high school girl in the froyo shop.
For the longest time, I was decking myself out in the full set: the shower gel, the lotion, and the spray. I loved it! My boyfriend eventually commented on the scent, calling it “interesting.” Ah well, can’t win them all.

This is my all time favorite scent. It smells beautiful, milky, creamy sweet but not too sweet. It would be my signature scent if it lasted more than 30 min. I’ve tried layering it with every product they make, but no luck. I would love to find a perfume exactly like this but with more staying power. Any thoughts?

  32. :

Very nice soft Vanilla/Whipped Cream scent. Doesn’t last like others here have said. It’s a good starter fragrance or one to wear around the house when feeling stressed, as it’s very calming. I work from home so I like Philosophy when I’m staying in and don’t need to wear anything fancy. These are great for that. It’s a little young for me to wear out and about, but is not a sticky sweet like Pink Sugar.

  33. :

    5 out of 5

wonderful scent. only problem is I spray it on me and then poof it’s gone. major disappointment

  34. :

    4 out of 5

Pretty good! When I smelled it in the store, it had a fresh cream sort of smell, like pure organic whipped cream with no vanilla, cake, or sugar involved. But on me, it smells a little too much like a vanilla cake for my taste, and looses a bit of the pure milkiness, especially in the dry down. I can still sense a bit of the milkiness, but it goes away as the fragrance dries. Overall, a good sweet, vanilla, milky scent, but I would prefer even more creaminess and less sweetness.

  35. :

I had really high hopes for this one because I have been searching for a fragrance that smells like fresh sweet cream. This smells more like vanilla than I wished! It reminds me of Vanille Extreme and I don’t get the complexity listed in the notes. Despite all this, it settles into the skin nicely after the initial strong blast and isn’t as chemically sweet as a lot of vanilla fragrances are.
Update: I have been wearing this every day for a week and have come to like it more than I anticipated.

Holy GRAIL! I do not see how anyone could not love this. It’s just done RIGHT. No playdough, No sickly sweet. Amazing! The Body Cream is also GREAT! Natalie N on YT~

Nope. I have officially removed this perfume from my want list and it is a decision I am very comfortable with. I have not smelled a perfume with this much alcohol in a long time, and it just doesn’t dry down! I don’t even know if the notes have potential…I can’t smell them behind all the alcohol. Is it only me? There are so many positive reviews for this scent…I usually like gourmands and I’ve smelled other scents from Philosophy and I’ve never had this problem. I’ve never smelled this much alcohol for this long of a timespan, not even with celebrity perfumes. Weird.

Scrumptious. Heavenly. Milky sweet Chupa Chup lollipop. I can’t get enough. While the rest of New York has decided to bathe in Santal 33 (not hatin, just sayin) I’ll be enjoying this sugary confection: softest, friendliest, freshest, and most comforting gourmand I’ve tried.
UPDATE: Nooo!!!! I can’t really smell this anymore. After only three or four days wearing it, my nose went on strike and stopped registering this scent. Now I can only smell the strong alcohol and a very faint vanilla. Such a shame because I know more is going on – when it was “working” it was so good! Ugh. I bought the lotion and I can’t detect all of its nuances anymore though I do get the buttery macadamia nut note which I like. I loved this so much, but I probably won’t purchase it again as I never know if I’m going to be able to smell it. (It doesn’t have great longevity or sillage even on a day when my brain/nose will let me register it.)

Identical to Matin Calin from CSP … warm sweet condensed milk,,or whipping cream if you wish. Delicious. Unfortunately , no silage and very little lasting power. In other words , a very overpriced body mist. Addictive and yummy , but diluted to the max. I wish it was more concentrated , as the scent itself is extremely appealing .

  40. :

    5 out of 5

I have the shower gel and soufflé, and I just love this stuff! I never thought it would be appealing to wear a food-type scent, but I love to use it in the shower and then use the “soufflé” (sorta fluffy body cream) all over my arms and legs. I’ll be sad to run out, because it just makes me so happy to smell it as I’m using it, and I enjoy it all day since it lasts well but is not too strong, but I have a lot of other scented lotions and creams that I got for Christmas, so I won’t buy more at this point.

  41. :

    4 out of 5

Whipped cream. Beautiful, soft and enveloping. While this scent does resemble CSP Vanilla Extreme to a fair degree, the milk note in Fresh Cream is more prominent, the vanilla more subtle and less synthetic, and less sillage with FC.

  42. :

    3 out of 5

very sweet, and very similar to CSP Vanille Extreme. i like sweet, and i like this, but as with Vanille Extreme – go really really easy and light with this one, or you will overwhelm everyone around you (and yourself). vanilla+cotton candy and maybe a touch of buttercream frosting.

  43. :

At long last I found the perfect milky, creamy perfume that I was beginning to think only existed in my mind. Fresh Cream smells like a vanilla steamer–scalded, fatty whole milk with vanilla syrup. It hits your skin like a tame, creamy version of Buttered Popcorn Jelly Bellys. It’s not that sweet, which was a nice surprise; however it does sweeten up in the heart. Also in the heart you can smell a touch of powder as well as some very obscure florals, but they are just right!
This perfume is all about creaminess and milkiness. It’s more of a novelty scent for me. When I smell this, I think of being home on a rainy day, curled up on the couch with an ultra soft blanket and a good book. I’m not sure I would want to smell like this around other people, as I don’t aspire to smell like vanilla milkshakes. This one is just for moi.
Fresh Cream reminds me just a little bit of those kinds of perfumes that smell like vintage powder compacts or broken Chanel makeup at the bottom of a purse, probably because of the floral and powdery notes, but then pour a scalding hot vanilla steamer into the purse and there you have it. Seriously love love love this stuff!

Not very good. The smell of burnt firewood was very strong. This isn’t listed as a note, but it showed up strongly on me. Not the sweet creamy goodness of the notes that are actually listed. Just smelled burnt…and not burned sweet, just firewood. Ugh.

  45. :

I adore this enough to be on my second spray bottle. the first purchase was a get-to-know-you rollerball. I’m not sure if it’s what you envision true fresh cream to smell like but it does have a pleasant smell that is fun to spray on. It doesn’t end my hunt for that true signature scent we all seek because for me the smell doesn’t last long enough for anyone to notice. But I’m sure no one will complain about how I smell.

Very nice, but not a substitute for my all-time fav, CSP Lait Sucre. I’ve been looking for a good dupe for it forever, it seems. Oh, Lait Sucre, I smell you in my dreams! *sob*

  47. :

This smells like ice cream. To be more precise – vanilla ice cream melting in your mouth. Vanilla ice creams that are labelled “no sugar added” yet have sugar in them kind of a way. It’s nice but I’m looking for sugar free version. So I’ll let this one pass.

  48. :

    3 out of 5

I was wearing this while eating a milkshake, and I remember thinking that I smelled like this milkshake tasted. Fresh Cream is not as sweet on the skin as it seems in the bottle. It is sweetest upon first application when the cream is mixed with a floral-fruit. It dries to reveal a splash of vanilla. It also has a little nuttiness, like half a drop of almond extract mixed in your sweetened whipped cream. Towards the end it gets slightly powdery. When people say this reminds them of marshmallows, they are experiencing the cream, sweetness, and powder playing together to remind them of confectioners sugar/marshmallows – but slightly less sweet. This is NOT a linear fragrance, but the non-sweet notes are subtle which could lead to a misreading or differences in chemistry altering the performance.
I am extremely surprised I like this so much. I generally do not like sweet scents. I am intrigued because this feels odd or different, and I adore quirky scents. I could see this layered or worn alone. Put the bottle in your purse, for this does not have staying power, but I don’t mind that in my novelty scents.
Edited to add: this is definitely my new guilty pleasure frag! I find myself reaching for it more and more. WHaT?!

Delicious! So sweet. I get mostly vanilla and a tiny bit of milkiness. It is very simple but that makes it so wonderful to me. Wear this if you want to smell like whipped cream or some type of vanilla dessert. It stays close to the skin but has decent longevity.

My husband asked me if I wanted to smell like a milkshake when I was wearing this! It smells like vanilla and baked goods, and lasts for a very long time. I love it.

I recently got a bottle of this for my sister (since she wouldn’t shaddap about how amazing it is, haha!) Before sending it off in a perfume-filled care package, I just had to try it out for myself. I couldn’t imagine what it might smell like, based on the name and sheer lack of notes.
Like other reviewers, I too, get hints of florals/musk.. it’s sweet, but not toothache-inducing gourmand-style sweet. It’s light, refreshing, and gives your skin a sweet-smelling pick me up, without overpowering it. It’s not my personal preference (I go for dark and complicated scents typically), but it is quite nice for what it is, and considering the name, isn’t the least bit misleading.

I love the entire Fresh Cream line. One of the things Philosophy did well with this one was to make each of the Fresh Cream products smell a little different so that layering them or wearing one at a time all create a different experience.
The Fresh Cream shower gel is slightly creamy, a little soapy, and has only the faintest hint of sweetness.
The Fresh Cream body lotion is very creamy, a little sweeter than the body wash, and has a nice vanilla note that lasts for hours. The lotion is probably my favorite Fresh Cream item. My favorite thing to do with it is to layer it under Atelier Cologne Vanille Insensée — that Atelier Vanille is probably my favorite vanilla scent of all time but it has terrible longevity. The Fresh Cream body lotion really makes it last, and also magnifies it a bit. I also love how it performs when layered under Aerin Amber Musk.
The Fresh Cream perfume spray is the sweetest of the three. It’s milky, but not vanilla to my nose. At first spritz, it smells fresh and milky sweet, with a vague hint of something floral, and reminds me of cold, fresh, whipped cream. The scent warms up in time, and the dry down reminds me a lot of sweetened condensed milk. It’s a really cozy night time or cold weather scent on it’s own, but also works well when layered with brighter, fruitier scents such as Unconditional Love or Comptoir Sud Pacifique Mora Bella.

Very creamy! Softly sweet, just the way whipped cream tastes. I get a sense of berries somehow, and the whole thing becomes the lingering phantom of a fabulously simple summertime desert. Very young/girly, this is one scent I’m almost ashamed to adore so much…but I can’t help it.
Longevity is poor, but it’s ccomforting how close it sits.

This seems to be a very youthful scent. I considered gifting to my niece but am waiting to decide on that for now. It is a very warm, creamy, sweet slightly powdery vanilla scent. Like other Philosophy scents it doesn’t last long but I get a good 4 hours on my skin. I think this is more of a night scent or cool weather scent. It is a very “edible” scent and I enjoy wearing it to bed

Not fresh at all. More like a milkshake that’s been sitting out or malted milk. Not much vanilla either. It smells like a cheap body spray.

I love this and how it does smell like the kind of cream you make butter with! Its not complicated but will have people leaning closer to smell your delicious scent. I recommend wearing if you want a certain someone to get closer..

I really like this scent and I’m a dude. It’s not overpowering and not overly sweet on my skin. Also not too vanilla. As much as I like vanilla if it’s overdone it becomes sickening. And I don’t find it to be too feminine on me.
Bought a small decant just to test it out but now ordering a full bottle. And the price is on the cheaper side of things so that’s always a bonus.

this is amazing. Its sweet and creamy and smells alot like Pacifica Island Vanilla but it has a milky note and Pacifica has a bit more vanilla but still similar. I super love this and gotta add to my collection.

This does not play well with me. I get milk, but it’s not a sour milk, it’s almost a milk just ready to turn. No Boost for me, no milk after cereal for me. I get no marshmallow, no sweetness. Do try before you buy, as with anything because I thought for sure I’d love this, but no chemistry says no. Post Meno could be the reason. I loved the shower gel and lotion, but that is all. This wasn’t even good layered over Love by Kilian, which is pretty sugary on me, a little marshmallow and burnt sugar, in fact, it ruined my “Love”, so I had to spray over. Enjoy if it works for you! Vive Le France!

Pure yumminess. One of my students loved that I smelled like cupcakes wearing this scent. Perfect for working with children. This is a scent for your own enjoyment. Wafts up throughout the day and makes you feel comforted. But also makes you crave sweets, be warned! It needs the right audience but it’s fun.

I love vanillas and creamy scents, and have been on a gourmand kick lately. But this, nope. It turned sour smelling on me 🙁
If I’m in the mood for smelling like cream I’ll reach for my Gold Sugar.

Lisa Mari, which ingredients? I’m really curious because Philosophy is supposed to be safe for anyone, there are no parabens, etc.
This does smell exactly like a dairy product– both the good and the bad. I love the vanilla, but occasionally it smells like a TURNED dairy product. If I’m doing Philosophy, I’ll do the lotion with something else, combining the lotion and perfume is a little too Mary Milk Maid. It’s delighfully sweet, but not remotely sexy.

Its definitely cream, not milk. its smells sticky and very sugary sweet, almost like a cream bun. Its a little too sweet and unfortunately contains harmful chemical ingredients

This not only has a whipping cream smell, but also the slight smell of the aerosol thats left in the can after you’ve finished the cream. If you’re curious as to what this smells like, smell the nozzle of an empty whipping cream can. So delicious!
UPDATE: I sprayed this today at around 7pm while I had L de Lolita lempicka on from 10am in the morning. i got home at 8 pm and as soon as i sat down, not even for 3 seconds my sister took and sniff and said “You smell like Kinder bueno.. Have you been eating kinder bueno?”

This smells like fresh whipped cream — the homemade kind made with beaters — and a hint of confectioner’s sugar. Nothing complex but a lovely light milky scent, great for cozy evenings at home. Light sillage so would be acceptable for work settings — unlike some vanillas it won’t overwhelm. Drawback is the lasting power, only three hours on me which is a bit low for a vanilla/base note based scent.

This did not smell fresh or creamy at all. To my nose, it’s a generic, foodie vanilla, with a very sweet, powdery and musty dry-down. It smells really a lot like confectioners sugar. In fact Stale Baking Sugar would be a better name for this. There is nothing fresh or creamy about this stuff. It remind
