Description

Frangipani, also known as plumeria, is a flower native to India. Highly revered for its sublimely intoxicating aroma, it’s often planted along side of temples in the Indian countryside as a fragrant offering to the deities. This is how it came to be known as the Temple Tree Flower.

Ava Luxe Frangipani fragrance is lush and blissfully tropical. The heart is a combination of rare absolute essences of frangipani, Tahitian gardenia, Indian jasmine grandiflorum, and tuberose with soft amber and Madagascar vanilla base notes.

Notes: frangipani absolute, tuberose absolute, jasmine absolute, Tahitian gardenia, waterlily, Rosa Alba (white rose), Himalayan cedar, Madagascar vanilla, white amber.
Frangipani was launched during the 2000’s. The nose behind this fragrance is Serena Ava Franco.

It is one of those safe floral fragrances that could be found in supermarket, a very Pinoy delicate fragrance. The type of fragrance that could be found in a very good bargain but with good quality, uplifting feeling, and very floral fresh. Sometimes it feels like a flower deodorant because of that synthetic mix but i don’t get disturbed sniffing this one!
It is truly a yellow frangipani on synthetic jasmines and synthetic gardenia. Tuberose isn’t shown in here clearly but mostly it is quite frangipani.
Now the dry down is overly jasmines, it feels like metallic jasmines on a bed of musk, very animalic and sort of smell like an empty stomach breath & i believe it’s the cedar and amber combination with the help of gardenias.

This synthetic cocktail of truly ghastly Gardenia and Tuberose. A scrubber in the worst way. I could not detect the faintest hint of jasmine, frangiapani, or any other notes. They should not have named it after plumerias. Chokingly bad. Sorry for the negative review. Usually, no matter what perfume it is or how synthetic, I can find at least something nice to say. But this was kind of amazing. I find it hard to believe someone would wear this. But, then, skin chemistry is a weird thing . . .
