This is one of my favorite scents BBW has released. I love the mix of citrus and cream. Maybe I’m tainted by the description, but when I smell it, I really do think of warm summer evenings, driving with friends, blasting good music, and getting ready for a fire pit night. If you can ever get this scent during a sale, I would highly recommend.

just my 2 cents, I really don’t like this one. Smells just like oranges, old flowers and Most of all old men’s tobacco or cigars. Why such a strong tobacco smell.?not cool ( and not the nice yummy cherry pipe tobacco ) I do not want to smell like citrus and Redman chewing tobacco , Yuck! Sorry Ya’ll…

I only own the fragrance mist, not the edt, but since the scent is supposed to be the same I guess it doesn’t really matter.
This is my go-to late spring/ early autumn scent. When I spray it on in the morning it’s fresh, sweet and citrusy but it becomes a bit muskier. It basically is like a summer day: cycling in the morning, car rides, going on a funfair and then having a bonfire with friends.
I spray it on my neck and in my hair and it lasts all day.

Not a review, just letting people know that when I looked at the BBW website just now, absolutely NO products available for Forever Sunshine….sad! 🙁
I never had the perfume, but the lotion and shower gel have long been staples for me and I really loved the scent. I had just picked up a couple of lotions earlier in the year, noticing that the shower gel was no longer an option. Why, oh why, do they get rid of the great ones?!

The product description from BBW says the main notes are apricot, peony, and praline – so I think it must be the praline that accounts for that creaminess many reviewers are describing.
Other people have already described the scent in detail, so I’ll just say that whenever I wear this, I get LOTS of compliments from strangers, male and female.

I love almost all bbw scents but this one is so overpowering and kinda smells like bug spray. Gonna definitely give this one away.

i have the body wash, lotion and body mist and they all smell a little different.
first of all i love packaging and the idea….of Forever Sunshine
the body wash smells the best in my opinion…you can really smell the citrus and vanilla.
the triple moisture body cream has this weird smoky note to it….i dont like anything weird in my frangrances….no spiciness or smokiness….i like just pure sugar freshness and sweetness so i was disapointed with the body cream i barely use it.]
the body mist is very light i can barely smell it even when i bathe myself in it,…and again there was that weird inapropriate smoke smell that i hate.
i was so disapointed because i read some really postive stuff about forever sunshine….i follow a youtube guru that i admire on You tube and she was going on and on about how good it smelled but that was the body wash….the bodywash was does smell really good….i wish the body cream and body mist macthed the body wash!
5.10 maybe it will grow on me
PS maybe bath and body works can remake this one without that horrible smoky note

This scent has always been jarring and confusing to me, a strange mixture of a bright citrus scent forcefully crammed together with a leftover batch of ‘Twilight woods’. Strange, overly sweet and dark and gives me and instant headache. Sorry to those who love this

Around this time of year I start looking forward to being able to wear warmer fragrances again every once in a while. While placing an order online recently I was looking for something to round out my order and decided to give Forever Sunshine another try. When I first tried it I wrote it off as just another sweet scent.
My verdict – yes, Forever Sunshine is sweet. I find it youthful and warm, definitely gourmand. I don’t get the creamsicle references, personally – at least not for the mist. For the body cream, which I also purchased, I can understand why people would make that comparison. I do get the citrus notes in conjunction with the vanilla, which is creamy, but not exactly a creamsicle… More like a warm dessert with citrus accents. I like it much more now than I used to. It’s definitely not one I would choose to wear every day. For the warmer B&BW offerings I would probably choose Twilight Woods or Warm Vanilla Sugar, but Forever Sunshine is very nice. It reminds me of a more bearable version of Katy Perry Meow with the orange and vanilla notes.
Long story short, I am glad I gave Forever Sunshine another try. I don’t think it will ever be a favorite, but I think it will be a good scent to wear to herald in the fall when the summer months are coming to an end 🙂

To my nose, I think it smells exactly like Paris Hilton Passport Paris. I ordered the body mist of Forever Sunshine from BBW and I was expecting a orange Creme Popsicle, like some reviewers said on the sight. Basically, I was expecting a Beyonce Pulse type of fragrance. To me Passport Paris smelt good, but I gave it away because I am trying to clear out all of my celebrity perfume except the ones i truly enjoy. Forever Sunshine is a floral Gourmand that is somewhat bright. For the body mist I can said that it has good projection and sillage, sadly more than some of my Eau de Perfume. If you enjoy light, floral type Gourmands, this will be up your ally, or if you wanted a much larger dupe for Paris Hilton Passport Paris, buy Forever Sunshine. It is an online only Exclusive!

It smelled like citrus at first, to me. After brought it home, it was kind of musky and vanilla. Still not bad.

I really love the Forever Sunshine products. It’s like Cashmere Glow without the synthetic amber notes. I use the body wash more than the other products in the line.
To me, most of the scents currently available as body wash in Bath and Body Works smell exactly like bubble gum. Except a select few, which includes Forever Sunshine. It is just an amazing scent!

On me this fragrance starts off as pure orange Creamsicle. Then I get warm sugar and powdery notes along with the faintest hint of something close to gardenia that barely comes through in the background.
I find it a lot more sweet than sunny. Pleasant though. It takes me to a happy place.

The name of this fragrance most definitely suits it; to me it smells just like sunshine in a bottle! I have a hard time making out the citrus in this scent, I mostly get vanilla however I like it! It reminds me of summer time, which is always nice!

    Delicious!
The top notes are fresh orange juice and apricot tarts for breakfast on the sun porch.
The middle threatens to become that awful, musky, headachy juice that makes all BBW products smell the same (to me)….but thankfully it’s really quick.
The drydown is what sold me. Sitting by the fireplace, wrapped in a soft blanket while wafts of tobacco, vanilla, and dried apricots surround me. Mmmm!
Tobacco isn’t even listed as a note, but I really smelled it & notice others did, too.
I found this at a BBW outlet store, and it is available online as well.
P.S. The lotion & body cream seem to last longer than the edt.

My friend gifted it’s body lotion and I like it. It may be a little too sweet for some of you but if that’s what you like then go for it! n ya I would luv to try its perfume too.

To me, the bottle is a pretty good visual representation of how the fragrance unfolds. At the top it is bright, citrusy and sweet – think freshly squeezed oranges and zest. I have actually been craving this scent to wake me up in the morning. It’s wonderful in the winter for a pick-me-up…
As the fragrance settles (like the colors on the bottle shift to richer tones), soft musk, sandalwood and creamy vanilla appear. They mingle with the bright citrus scent making it cozy, delicious and addictive. (Though it had me at citrus, these notes are just heavenly.)
Lastly, the bottom hues of the bottle are dark jewel tones, representing the dusky dry-down. This is a direct portal back to my childhood. One of the notes, tonka bean, is a replica of the tobacco my dad smoked in his pipe – sweet, nutty and comforting. It takes a while to warm up and fully blossom, but there is no denying its earthy sweet presence.
I few years ago I loved BBW’s sublimely bright and simple pink grapefruit scent, but abandoned it because I grew bored. It needed warmth, vanilla, praline or something complex to hold my interest. THIS scent has that and more. Seriously SO glad I found this before it was all gone…

Love this fragrance. Luckily it is still available in the fragrance mist, but I stocked up before it was discontinued in the EDT. It does smell like orange creamcicles; soft, orange, not a biting orange but a pleasing creamy orange. I wear this often and I always spray my bedding with the fragrance mist. I wish BB&W would reconsider some of the fragrances they have discontinued in the EDT, such as Sensual Amber and Vanilla Noir. I do not know if they have done so in other countries, but here in the U.S., they did. I even went so far as to write the company, but alas my little email did not have am impact on their decision. Again, Sensual Amber is still available in fragrance mist as is Forever Sunshine.

Forever Sunshine is just a general crowd pleaser of a fragrance. Warm and summery, great for transitioning into fall. Some say it smells like an orange creamsickle and I get that from it too in a certain light. I’ve often read people think of it as a yummy Viva La Juicy dupe. It just makes me think of melted ice cream cones with summer citrus fruits somewhere on the side. On my skin I defiantly get the vanilla, sandalwood, musk but it’s gentle. The cozy elements really work with the fruity ones that it’s not just a plain old “boring” kind of vanilla at all. Its pure summer in a bottle to me.
I’ll always be at a loss as to why this was essentially discontiuned. I can only imagine they were scared that the names would compete too much with “Forever Red”. Personally, I think Forever Sunshine is absolutley a much better fragrence than Forever Red ever could be. There are limited choices of it online, but the EDT is no longer advailable, which I think was the best formulation of Forever Sunshine. Booo. Bring it back.

Ok, so I’m one of the few who don’t really like this one. I don’t hate it, though. I generally like vanilla smells but it’s just too much in this one. Gave me a headache. I think it kind of smells like Twilight Woods but a sunnier, happier version. I even get a whiff of marshmallows. I like Twilight Woods better. Gave it to my friend.
UPDATE: Well, it grew on me. I took it back from my friend LOL. It’s been raining a lot here in my country and I haven’t seen the sun in weeks so I use this for a little sunshine 😀

Oh, no! Why is it that every time I find a BBW scent I like it’s discontinued?? Well, from the stores at least. Such a pretty one too, with apricots and pralines, it really does remind me of late summer/early autumn. Dang! Oh, well, I’ll find a new favorite I guess!!

  23. :

    3 out of 5

Love this scent! It’s a beautiful and rich combination of citrus and vanilla, and it reminds me of a comfortably warm, golden summer day.
This cheerful fragrance is ideal for summer, because it’s like sun in a bottle! 🙂

  24. :

Apricot, citrus, peonies, and praline are the notes I pick up the most in Forever Sunshine … And it smells wonderful! To me, this does smell like sunshine. It’s a very happy and Summery fragrance that could make any day brighter just by smelling it. It’s a great “pick me up” fragrance during the Summer. I can see people pulling this fragrance off all year round, but I personally only wear this during the really hot months of the year.
There have been worries of this being discontinued, but I read on Bath and Body Works’ Twitter account that it will just become an online exclusive. Man, all of the scents I love from this company are either discontinued or becoming online-only. No wonder I haven’t set foot in one of their stores in a while!

Apricots, Vanilla, Peonies, and Praline.. this is what i get.. and i love it so much.. i can’t believe its being discontinued.. this is my “IT” Scent. Sweet and dreamy with a sexy apricot.. im not sure where im going with this.. but the description is it.. it notes the perfect blend of summer to fall.. i spray this on when i want to be cozy <3 i love it every season every day. :'(

Almost bought this but the scent wore off to fast, but it was a wonderful delicious creamy orange.

  28. :

    5 out of 5

Mmmm Yummy. I love this. Creamy, bright and juicy oranges and apricots on first application then sweet, warm and creamier vanilla and praline when it dries down. This is a lovely gourmand. I agree with those that say it’s a happy sort of scent. The name fits it very well. A kinda scent you’d wear on a beautiful sunny day when you’re in the sunniest of moods.
The vanilla is prominent in this but I don’t think it’s too heavy or cakey enough that this fragrance can’t be worn in the summer. It’s a good all rounder.
I layer thus with the lotion which smells exactly the same and it lasts around 3 hours before I have to top it up.

  29. :

This scent was DEFINITELY not what I expected with a name like “Forever Sunshine.” It’s WAY better than I thought 🙂
Vanilla is the strongest note, blended perfectly with orange/citrus and a slight fruity sweetness.
Forever Sunshine is so comforting and YUMMY.
This scent is perfect for ANY weather because of the vanilla for cold weathers and the orange/citrus for warmer weathers.
Personally I think this is perfect for fall/winter if you’re tired of the cold weather and want to be reminded of summer.

I really like this scent. It’s very dozy and soft. You can really smell the vanilla and the fruity hints in it too. The potion is great too they smell very similar. Which I like because some smell totally different when they’re in spray or other forms! It also has a very nice citrus hint to it. I smell oranges and peaches in the mixture too!

I am finding myself more and more interested in “put a smile on my face” scents — thanks to the previous poster, Whit, for his review, and all the others that have tapped this as a cheerful scent! Will definitely seek this out and see if blesses my skin with a little bit of its sunny disposition!

I bought the body wash and lotion at the local BBW recently. After all the rainy, dreary weather we’ve been having, I needed something that smelled “happy”. When they came out with this, I had never smelled it. So far, I really like it; it’s sweet and citrusy, but a casual scent at that. I’ll have to agree with everyone about the “creamsicle-vanilla” aroma, which is a nice aroma by the way. I don’t really notice any similarities with Viva La Juicy though; I have it and to me, this doesn’t smell anything like it IMO. Fun, flirty, sunny and happy, Forever Sunshine is a mood booster in a bottle. It’s a nice casual scent that will put a smile on your face.

My coworker has the lotion and I definately smell the “tobacco” that was previously mentioned. I was thinking of purchasing this. Perhaps it is still on the BBW website.

Warm, fluffy lemon cake with thick buttercream frosting and a sprinkle of orange zest. Smells edible to me, very thick and sweet. It does smell similar to Viva La Juicy. This will last all day on me when I use the lotion and body spray. Very cute, fun fragrance.

  35. :

    5 out of 5

I used to have this in EDT, and now that it has been discontinued, I’m scouring Ebay for my second bottle.
This is a good summer to fall transition fragrance, and one of the best that BBW had to offer. (They always discontinue the good ones). Forever Sunshine has a strong Vanilla note, tempered by citrus and made a little nutty by Praline. Overall a bright, delicious and rounded fragrance. Forever Sunshine reminds me of lemon squares topped with praline, almonds and other nuts. I love this.
Lasting power is good, but layer the EDT with the lotion and you’ll get a good 10 hours of this delicious scent.
PS.Summer Vanillas Lemon Vanilla from BBW is similar to this, albeit a poor copy, and it sucks that they don’t have Summer Vanillas Lemon Vanilla in EDT.

Love the scent. Takes me on a tropical vacation everytime I wear it. I’ve gotten compliments on it too.

Am I the only one who smells the tobacco? It is dry and leafy, and really adds character to this citrus-y scent. I think of dry grasses too… like the August smell of a wheat field after mowing…not quite a hay scent.
I don’t get “sweet” nor “creamcicle”… both would not bother me… this, to me, is a more grown up scent for BBW.
Bummer for those of you who smell a plastic or synthetic… cuz I get a nice dry tobacco with a light citrus.
I imagine “Jenny” from Forrest Gump when she’s in her hippie stage… long dirty blond hair, leather headband, fringe… free spirit… clean citrusy with that tobacco base…
I love it. Its one of my “basics” that I use to underlay other scents.

Smells like sweet lemonade! Considering buying it….
EDIT 3/16/2012: I ended up buying it and returned it soon after…it was too sweet even for me (and I love sweet scents).

I adore this. It’s citrus and sunshine. If you could put happiness in a bottle, this would be it. This is yummy and citrus, not overpoweringly sweet, just a very uplifting fragrance.

I love this scent. It’s my favorite from Bath and Body Works. It’s sweet and comforting. It starts of smelling citrusy. To me it reminds me of sweet orange juice. Then you smell the vanilla mixed in. It’s a wonderful fragrance. I waited a long time to buy this EDT. The scent is great; the silage is not. Don’t expect this to last.

  44. :

I got this because it reminds me of summer! It’s kind of a fruity, fun scent. It kinda reminds me of twilight woods just a lighter happier version.

  45. :

    5 out of 5

To me, it’s a softer, summer version of Sensual Amber. I would also call it a gormand version of Clinique Happy.
Wearable year-round, especially during spring and fall when the weather begins to change. It makes me feel carefree and romantic.

I just may have passed on this one if buying for myself but I received this for a gift. I had tried it a few times and really liked it so I was happy to get it. All the good reviews are correct. I don’t seem to get the actual scent of a baked cake or creamsicle but I sure get that same warmth and creamy feel in my mouth which attracted me to it more than once. This shouldn’t be passed if you’ve any interest, you just might regret it! I think you can wear this all year around but my personal preference is during summer. I love the bottle design but I still hate them gawky ugly tops! I love children’s drawings and art. This scent has a childlike quality to it and they captured that in the design. I’m very happy I got this and would purchase a second time.

For me,’Forever Sunshine’ is the clone of ‘Fancy by Jessica Simpson’ but the latter one is stronger than the former.Anyway, I love both of them cause I am a big fan of Vanilla scent. But I prefer Victoria’s Secret ‘Dream Angels Heavenly’ which is my wish list.

  48. :

Hmmmm, well I don’t agree with the Circus Fantasy reference but everyone smells things differently. For me this starts out like a creamsicle someone spilled flowerbomb on.
The first time I smelled it a co-worker had just put the hand lotion on man was it strong (filled the room)! BUT it smelled wonderful. I didn’t pick up the creamsicle at that point. It smelled so good I ordered a perfume/hand lotion set for myself, that’s when I realized there was a fair amount of orange in the notes, but still really wonderful.
So basically creamsicle meets flowerbomb for the opening and middle notes on me. Good sillage, good staying power. Then it quiets down to more of a vanilla like scent, which also smells good and lasts for a long time but the sillage goes away.
I’m often worried about purchasing BBW scents because they don’t seem to last, however Forever Sunshine is a worthy investment from them, and I love the hand lotion!

If you are a citrus lover, this is the ONE! I am in love with forever sunshine. It is my perfect summer frag. It reminds me of fresh lemon cake being baked though lemon is not one of the notes. Very edible scent. Also this edt lasts all day alone but I enjoy layering it with the triple moisture body cream. Wish they made shower cream too!

  51. :

Forever Sunshine opens with a delicious burst of tangerine. It is full of sweet juicy apricot and citruses, soft gardenia, and creamy, buttery praline and sandalwood. The citrus notes make this scent bright, sunny and playful…at the same time the sandalwood/praline base gives it a warm and cuddly feeling. This is a happy, mood-lifting scent.
I layer it with the body cream, which makes it last better. Sillage is surprisingly good for a BBW perfume. I’ll get a heavenly whiff of this scent every once in a while when I’m wearing it, and it’s wonderful.

I originally bought this in the lotion and shower gel when it first came out in 2010. I kind of forgot about it. I recently found the lotion and tried it and I instantly fell in love with it. So I went and bought the edt and body spray and i love it! The edt lasts a long time on me. The scent smells very warm and soft. It stays very close to the skin also. To me it reminds me of summer. This is going to be my signature scent!

  53. :

I don’t think this scent is anything special. I’ve tried this in the lotion and body spray. This scent is too citrusy for me and is very similar to Bath and Body Works’ discontinued Orange Sapphire.

  54. :

just purchased a small travel size set of it and its really quite nice
based on the name, i was expecting a citrus scent but nothing could be further from the truth-this is fruity gourmand scent that would fall into same category as Viva la Juicy. I get a little bit of zesty fruit on the first spray and some berries with cream, then it turns into sweet creamy cakey scent that reminds me of lemon cake with cream and fruit on top. I think its the praline note that give it that extra sweetness. Lasting power is ok, body spray lasts couple of hours but it has to be layered with lotion. Still not bad. I like the scent a lot but i hate the ugly drawings on the bottle that looks very crude and childlike. BBW is really slipping lately with their bottle design.

  55. :

I love this scent! I bought the shower gel, lotion, and spray and when layered, the scent stays on me all day. It smells amazing, perfect for spring/summer.
It reminds me a lot of Viva La Juicy, ecept with orange/tangerine in the mix. 🙂

This is absolutely gorgeous…my mum bought herself and me one, she sprayed it in her room and my father and brother came in sniffing the air wondeing what smelled so good…then I went home and my hubby and his father were looking around trying to find out what smelled so good..lol. On initial spray, there is a definate burst of manderin..I wasn’t sure I would like this because I usually detest citrusy scented fragrances, but a few minutes after spraying, there came this beautiful scent of what I can only describe as a creamsicle, but not cloying at all. I really can smell the apricot and vanilla in this one, and the initial citrus dries down into this creamy, warm, sunshiney scent. It turns heads and it is beautiful…I think it is good for any time of the year, specifically spring, summer and fall. Will definately be repurchacing.

I wanted this one for so long, had tested it many times and now that I finally have it I feel as though a grave mistake was made! o.O Forever Sunshine suddenly smells uber synthetic on my skin and all the caramel like goodness seems to have vanished! Guess my skin is on strike…? Oh no! All that is noticeable now is a plastic smell that another reviewer mentioned. DOn’t know what happened but this one isn’t liked anymore. ;'( Oh well, on to the next one! ;’D

I purchased a shampoo called L’Oreal re-nutrition (the yellow one) yesterday because I would like to try it for my hair since it’s dry and the shampoo is intended for dry hair. Just awhile ago I took my shower and when I put on the shampoo in the palm of my hand I was like “oh my goodness…this is so Forever sunshine lol”….It’s very similar scent! I kept sniffing the shampoo and I laughed a bit because it was a pleasant surprise! Now I want the conditioner because I love the scent and I love Forever Sunshine..I don’t care if it smells like shampoo…it’s very fresh scent and I love fresh, citrusy sweet kinda scents. Hands down it’s one of the best BBW scent! Love it!

If you like twilight woods, you’ll like this one. I think it smells very similar just with a hint of citrus in it. It’s a warm vanilla scent, very gourmand, almost cupcake like. It’s pleasant and fun, perfect for summer but also very sweet. If you’re not into that you won’t like it. I think it’s good but I porbably wouldn’t spend the money to get more.

Normally I don’t like fruity/fruity florals, they tend to have an over-the-top sweetness that is nauseating. But this one is an exception. The opening is full bodied citrus, followed by velvety jasmine, then a soft sandalwood and vanilla drydowm. The overall effect is warm and creamy. Great for casual/outdoorsy events. The perfect fragrance for summer/the beach.

This is my official fall fragrance to me this smells like a combination of sweet creamsicles, vanilla, musk and sandal wood. To me this fragrance is long lasting and very original . I give this a 5/5.

  62. :

This reminds me most of scents like SJP NYC, Betsey Johnson or fruity Escadas like Ocean Lounge – sweet sweet fruit candy over woods. This is a decent fragrance, if not unique. If you want a cheaper version of the above fragrances mentioned, this is just as good, although it does have a little less staying power. I do really like the drydown – a nice vanilla comes out and it loses the initial in-your-face fruity tang. There is something about this frag that reminds me of Coty’s Exclamation, which I wore regularly for a couple of years. This is definitely less potent! I don’t see it sticking around for long.

It’s very similar to Orange Sapphire except Forever Sunshine has sweet warm vanilla and stronger floral notes. I still prefer Orange Sapphire because it’s juicier and it has an aquatic quality that I like.

Smells fruity and sweet like a spicy orange creamsicle. It’s cute and it would be fun to use casually. ;’)
Seems to have more character than Dark Kiss as well.
Update: think I am gonna have to get a bottle!! The drydown is a delicious spicy and warm vanilla. The opening is also very appealing and it has lasted forever on the tester card.

Ile De Tahiti coconut vanille (the original) and Warm Milk and Honey, Brown Sugar and Fig, and this all have something in them that smells alike to me. They don’t smell the same at all, they just have a hint of the same thing that I crave. It’s a very warm homey scent that almost tastes like warm pudding in your mouth. I like this one the least of them all but it’s still better than most of what they’ve had lately. The few scents I’ve loved they don’t keep and they have had too many that aren’t really good enough to purchase. I keep checking though! This is good but not good enough to buy.

I love this fragrance mainly because of the base notes, which is composed of the right gourmand notes, vanilla bean gelato and praline. I’ve been reading reviews that say that this smells like viva la juicy, and I’m annoyed quite frankly. I’ll admit that both fragrances share common notes, and that’s why Forever Sunshine may be slightly reminiscent of viva la juicy, but Forever Sunshine doesn’t have that nauseatingly sweet overkill effect like viva la juicy. Plus, bath and body works’ composition has a better floral mix with the gardenia, freesia and peony, that doesn’t hit you over the head with its pungency. This is the last fragrance from bbw that I’ll spend my money on quite frankly, because I’m still angry that they discontinued Moonlight Magic.

I have the body spray and the body lotion and it is yummy. You have the cozy sweeetness of the vanilla and the pretty floral from the freesia and poeny and the fruit from the mandarin. I really like even though it may be a tad too sweet for 98 degree heat. Delish!
