Description

An explosive bouquet of fresh and sweet notes arrives with perfume Flowerbomb, designed by Olivier Polge, Carlos Benaim and Domitille Berthier.

It was introduced in 2005, as an oriental perfume.

Top notes tingle with fresh and sweet accords of bergamot and green tea.

A heart is floral and opulent with intensive, sweet and pure Sambac jasmine, seductive Centifolia rose, freesia and Cattleya orchid. Musk and patchouli in a base wrap us with an oriental scent, while its milky and powdery notes gently fondle our skin.

The bottle was designed by Fabien Baron, in shape of diamond-granate, alluding at the fragrance itself, since it is so explosive, sophisticated and glamorous. It was introduced at the 10th anniversary of Viktor&Rolf house’s work. It is available as 30, 50 and 100 ml EDP and EDT. Flowerbomb was created by Olivier Polge, Carlos Benaim, Domitille Bertier and Dominique Ropion.

Judging by the name & notes, you wouldn’t think Flowerbomb is as sweet as it is. I remember I put off even testing it for a long time because I just assumed it was a mature, grandma scented floral bouquet. Imagine my surprise when I finally took a whiff! It is floral, but super sweet, bright, and warm at the same time. It really does remind me of Pink Sugar Sparks with a hint of Blue Sugar. The sweetness does mellow out in the drydown, but definitely peeks through often. So, of course, I had to have it in my collection. I could’ve kicked myself for not testing it sooner.

This is absolutely beautiful. I have over 80 perfumes and my collection is growing. I try to rotate my fragrances when possible and hadn’t worn this in a while. I’m wearing it this morning and I am continually getting fragrant wafts of this when I move. Flowerbomb is definitely one of my favorites. It’s a creamy sweet floral with a little bit of spice. When I’m finished with this bottle, I will most definitely purchase a larger bottle. Beautiful!

Flowerbomb is my 24-year-old daughter’s signature scent. She wears it beautifully and I love to smell it on her, regularly buying it for her as a Christmas or birthday gift. She has other perfumes which she wears casually – but Flowerbomb is the perfume I most associate with her.
Although this “could” have been an overwhelmingly sweet fragrance, I feel the patchouli, bergamot and tea notes balance it perfectly, preventing it from becoming cloying.
I can smell Flowerbomb downstairs at the back of the house, when my daughter first sprays it upstairs in her bedroom; the sillage is enormous. Fortunately it diminishes quite rapidly to within around 6 feet – still heavy, but not as overpowering.
A reviewer prior to me (Jesse2015) reports that Flowerbomb has poor sillage and longevity on her. Unless she is wearing a fake (quite possible if not purchased from a reputable source), I think she may just be rapidly desensitised to the smell. Flowerbomb is a VERY powerful perfume (it’s aptly named) and most of us become “noseblind” – how often do we walk into someone else’s home and wonder how they can be so oblivious to the overwhelming smell of dog (for example) – or of spices, emanating from the kitchen?
There are a couple of other alternatives, of course. Jesse2015 may have a perfectly genuine but faulty bottle (in which case, take it back to the retailer) or there may have been a recent – and disastrous – reformulation.
NB. Rather than risk buying a fake Flowerbomb from a seller on eBay, try one of the following very similar/clone fragrances (all of which have been liberated from my perfume cupboard by my daughter at some point, when her supply of Flowerbomb was running low!):
    *Between Us – One Direction
*Attar Al Mohabba Female – Rasasi
*Le Temps des Secrets – Jeanne en Provence (erroneously listed on Fragrantica as a “citrus aromatic” fragrance)

It’s a generic, floral scent but my problem is with the lack of sillage and staying power. After about 30 minutes, I could barely smell the scent when I placed my wrist against my nose.
For this price, I expect more staying power and more sillage.
    I won’t buy it again.

I think this is one of the few scents out there that you have to wear well or else it wears you. I find it only smells good if the person wearing it suits the image of the fragrance; an intelligent, sophisticated, woman who is confident enough to not be in your face. A beautiful bouquet of flowers with a fresh powdery hit and black spicy pepper. It’s more self-loving than seductive. A true independent woman’s fragrance that doesn’t rely on sickly vanilla to seduce, but the sophistication of the person.

This one did not agree with me..Smelled terrible on me. It’s like a sweet but peppery musty rose..I was expecting something much nicer with all the hype surrounding it.. I dont recommend this one as a blind buy..

Updated review after wearing it for an entire day: I like it. On first spray, the patchouli note is strong and I get a plastic smell, which quickly fades away to leave a nice sweet floral vanilla on my skin. The patchouli pretty much disappeared and I was left with something quite pleasant. Longevity is not great for as much as they ask for this perfume, but I do love the scent!

I love this and always will ..Femme, sweet, lil floral , sexy, warm, its the start of summer…end of spring ..but end of summer as well..that bronzed skin woman or any woman of color, out mid evening in a beautiful sexy ruched skirt or sexy short shorts…long legs and makeup is glowing with red lipstick..and add sexy boots to those bronzed legs…She is sexy flowerbomb! I feel this scent works better on woman of color.

Flowerbomb is a misnomer for sure. The key players here are osmanthus, tea, and patchouli

So glad I only got the miniature. The bottle is super cute, but I just dont get the hype at all. On my skin its just tea mixed with other flowers and a bit of patchouli. And does not last that long either. Have yet to try some V&R perfume I like! All of them smell dusty to me.

I was obsessed back in ’07-’09. It was the first “mature” oriental style fragrance I’d ever fallen for. I remember smelling it for the first time at Nordstrom and it was so special and unusual but in the best way I could imagine. I was around 20 then and I suppose that was my prime time for Flowerbomb. It took a fearless heart burning with fire to carry out the essence of Flowerbomb to its fullest. Over a decade later, it just isn’t me anymore.
I recently went back to it because of nostalgia. I still have a soft spot for it. I think its wild success is a testament to how many people feel the same way for it as I do. It’s the scent for learning and growing into yourself. However much Flowerbomb appeals to my former wild child self, I no longer wish to give the world that impression of me. It smells indulgent and frivilous, and a little bit scandalous. I don’t like to put perfume in boxes, but this would be a good “clubbing” scent.
Flowerbomb will always give me the impression of a young 20’s something looking for love in all the wrong places who enjoys making men drool. She likes to party and go where the night leads because spontaneity is thrilling. She is protective of her friends and tries to keep them together. Flowerbomb is like taking a quick glimpse at my former self, not the future. It rose to fame in a time when the world still rotated at a comfortable speed, though momentum was building during that first decade of the millenium. Since then many fragrances have been made in its shadow but Flowerbomb was the first like it. So it doesn’t seem like it now, but it was and always will be special.

Did this use to smell different? I wore it back in 2009 and it was more cloying back then and I got tired of it and ended up hating it. Now it just smells like Black Opium EDP to me. Identical, then it gets sweeter – that FB dna but not cloying anymore and alittle like Sofia’s Love. I saw another reviewer on here getting the same BO smell. Also reminds me of a Rosehip Oil I have. Smells great to me now. Did they reformulate it tho? not sure. Alot less headache inducing than back in 2009.
UPDATE: God i found what it now reminds me of! The drydown is identical to Christina Aguilera Glam X EDP.

Macy’s had a mothers day sale, so I dropped on this. It’s a dependable fragrance when I want the effort I put into getting ready to go the extra 100 miles. I will admit, it does have me craving something more when going out, but I haven’t found her yet…

This perfume is a lovely floral, like walking into a florists shop, then drying down to patchouli aromas.
Not overpowering at all, and suitable for all seasons.
Lovely yes, but agree it is over-priced, and would prefer to pay this price for a Dior.
Recommended if you have plenty of money to spare.

I have an older bottle and it’s a little different from the current juice. It’s more gourmand, sweeter and resembles LVEB a lot more. The color of the liquid has changed too from this blush color that it used to be to baby pink. I think they tweaked the composition after the Lancome came out and made it more floral. I actually prefer the current formula a bit more. People who disliked it in the past due to sweetness should try the current one.

I smelled this on a co worker a few years ago, and I absolutely adored it. What a beautiful, deep floral fragrance that has a wonderful vanilla undertone. This is the best selling perfume of 2018 in Dallas Ft. Worth.

I have wanted to try this for awhile, finally got a sample. I tried several times to like it, but the bright pretty opening dies way to quick. The dry down is a beeswaxy musk, which I don’t find appealing at all. Going to save some money here and pass.

I just love this perfume, it is my favorite! It makes me feel so pretty and feel beautiful! It is a soft feminine scent that I just love! Just one spray in my hair, is all I need!!! 🙂

It smells like waiting in line at a fast food restaurant. The loud person who cuts in line is drenched in this overbearing perfume.

  20. :

It’s nice, but very over hyped, and not worth the money. It’s a very hard scent to describe… It’s just one of those that you have to smell it for yourself. Not sure if it’s just me nose, but I doubt it’s my chemistry because even smelling it on the bottle it smelled kinda musty, yet dry… maybe too much rose who knows…. But considering most people really like this, I say give it a try yourself.
    I WOULDN’T ADVISE YOU BLIND BUY THIS ONE! Like I said, its one of those that you have to smell it yourself, and test it with your skin ;-;

I caught a whiff of this today on a guy I shared an Uber with, and it gave me a whole new appreciation for the scent. Despite being immediately familiar, I still had to confirm that it was indeed Flowerbomb, as I was surprised to be enjoying it so much more on him than I ever have myself (or any other female).
His chemistry somehow accentuated the sweet and slightly musky floral notes of this fragrance without turning it into the cloying sugar bomb that I recall. (And I’m not afraid of a sugary scent!)
I can appreciate Flowerbomb for what it is, but it usually just comes off so (for lack of a better word) basic. Like, the cumulative essence of every perfume counter of every mid-end mall ever. Like, flowers and chocolates and powder and saccharine sweetness and all the other stuff girls are “supposed” to smell like. Pleasant enough in moderation, but completely predictable.
My new theory is that Flowerbomb is better suited for most men, and Spicebomb for most women. They’re so overwhelming “female” and “male” (respectively), that it somehow ends up making more sense to wear them opposite of how they were intended.

I think if you have LVEB you dont need to have this one also. They smell pretty much the same, which means they both smell really good. I think LVEB is deeper & a little sweeter. For me the black currant in LVEB comes out & makes it more interesting. Im sure it comes down to personal preference as to which is better for you.

I really really like this. So warm and comforting, perfect for the evening and fall/winter/spring. But PLEASE don’t overspray this is heavy! And I promise it will last you a long time to empty this IF you spray responsibly.
The sillage is really good, but still not extreme, perfect for an eau de parfum I’d say.
The longevity is 12+ hours on my skin at least. I spritzed ONE spray of this on my arm yesterday, its almost 24 hours ago now and I still get whiffs of it.
If I sniff my arm or anywhere near the spot I applied it I can still smell that soft creamy, flowery patchouli scent!
Amazing! Lasts much better than the other perfumes I also tried yesterday which are all barely there or completely gone by now.
This isnt that flowery in my opinion especially after some time, but maybe thats just me.

This perfume IS NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY! it doesn’t smell sexy , doesn’t smell good! It’s just a whatever sweet smelling fragrance! Ended up selling this for $60 because I really wanted to get rid of it . Was NEVER complimented while using this perfume! So yep I guess doesn’t work for all but definitely not a head turner!

Dear god. This scent is terrible. I’m glad I only got a tester for it because it is too expensive to smell that badly. I see that lots of men love it, but mine did NOT.

  27. :

The opening earns this fragrance its name: it’s like a bouquet of expensive flowers (particularly white florals) explodes in your face! That good feeling lasted about a half hour for me, after which Flowerbomb dried down into bathroom freshener. I hate powdery perfumes like that, so I gave the sample to my mom (she’s a Shalimar and Coty Emeraude fan), who loved it.

I tried this and the scene from Sin City when Marv was hugging Goldie’s sister and was thinking “she smells like angels ought to smell.” came to mind. This is a good thing. A very good thing.

Just like with Lancôme La Vie Est Belle, there are also cons and pros about this Flowerbomb. I’m not gonna repeat everybody’s personal opinions here. To make it quick: while testing perfumes in the city, Flowerbomb stood out as the only one that my boyfriend (now my husband) really loved. He did not like anything else on me. And as for me, I love LVEB as it works out perfectly with my chemistry and so does Flowerbomb, as they are sort of being in the same group with each other. My husband secretly went ahead, bought Flowerbomb and gave it to me on the same day that he proposed. Flowerbomb was the first female fragrance that he ever bought in his life and he wanted me to have it. It was my engagement perfume!!! It is still the scent that he can easily recognize on me among hundreds of other fragrances that I have.
Later on in our life together, my husband picked out a few more perfumes for me, but I wear Flowerbomb with more love and joy for that sentimental reason, knowing that it is always his first favorite scent on me.

FB is very chocolatey, maybe it’s the patchouli? It reminds me of Angel Muse (not a fan). I know lveb came later, but I think it’s much more interesting (but still spray responsibly).

I really don’t like the latest trend of sickening, syrupy, sweet perfume. When I think of Flowerbomb I think of a rose floating in simple syrup. I don’t get any other notes because I can’t get past all that sugar.

I’ve been a fragrance addict for over a year now, collecting and wearings hundreds of perfumes. Recently I went back to my twelve year old bottle of this though and it’s still fresh and lovely!
I fell in love at first smell with this years ago because it was different than anything on the market, and I still adore it! It’s energizing, fun and just plain beautiful. It’s a perk-up kind of perfume.
It’s not too floral for me-I get the florals but my favorite is the patchouli throughout. It’s also not too sweet. I go easy with two sprays and it lasts all day.

This smells like a floral water with tons of white sugar in it (like at the end of a tea cup)… Very generic and sweet.

So i’ve been wearing the smell-a-like of this for years, and I’ve been dying to get my hands on a bottle. Of course, this is out of my price range, so I was chuffed to bits when I got a bottle for my birthday. When I smelled the dupe, i always questioned why it was called flowerbomb, not really detecting any flowers in it. The dupe is best described as pink fizz, and very pretty pink fizz, that’s kinda peppery. Flowerbomb EDP is creamier, and you can smell actual flowers. Patchouli really packs a punch, but it’s not too much. I have to say, i’m disappointed. It isn’t as loud as I thought it would be. The dupe (Milton Lloyd summertime) owns the room, and it lasts all day. Flowerbomb is deeper when you first spray it of course, but what’s the point if it doesn’t last longer than a couple of hours? Imo, they’re both pretty much identical. The only thing you don’t get with the dupe is an abundance of patchouli, and i personally don’t miss it. I’ll stick to my bargain version, it lasts longer.

It’s really funny to read that nowadays Flowerbomb is considered safe and generic! Mind you, when it came out in 2005 it was truly original, there wasn’t anything like it, it was a real impact – an explosion! 😉 And it became very popular very quickly.
I always regard those years before the financial crisis as the decadence years, for me not so much financially, but clothes, perfumes, clubs, parties, restaurants all had a sort of opulence and luxury – and Flowerbomb fitted right in!
I’m actually glad I lived those years for the good memories, because this minimalistic hipster time with sitting on hard wooden benches is just not for me! It’s the sign of the times I guess… 😉

A friend gave me her tester bottle when she upgraded to a full one.
Friendly is the word for this, I think. It’s feminine, sweet, cheerful, and appealing to a lot of people.
I consider it one of the “safe” scents. You could wear this to a job interview, a family dinner, meeting your boyfriend’s parents for the first time, etc, and this won’t offend anyone.
But to me, there’s just nothing all that special about it. I mean, I like it, don’t get me wrong. It’s a pleasant scent, and I’ll use up the rest of the tester bottle. But it doesn’t really stand out to me. It’s just another sweet floral perfume.
Some people have said “generic.” That’s pretty accurate, but it’s still great for when you just want to smell good.

I’m a little late to the party.
After all this time and hoopla surrounding Flowerbomb. I FINALLY tried it.
Flowerbomb is Very nice. No argument there. I can see/smell why it’s so well received. It’s that Typical pretty, shy feminine floral with a kiss of vanilla. Though, it’s sort of common and generic to me. It’s just that it’s so non specific and it reminds me of at least hundred other perfumes. Especially for the price tag. I was expecting an actual FLOWER BOMB. A super strong super floral and something a little more,…unique. I know that comment will probably not just step on but, crush a few toes. There’s so many people that love this juice to death. Although, It IS very nice. It’s just too common. Quite honestly, For a third of the price, I could buy something that smells just the same with the matching lotion and save a few bucks. I don’t mind dropping the $$$$ on a lovely juice. It’s probably the only thing I’m not frugal about. But IMHO there’s so many others with equal quality and the same if not exactly the same scent for a fraction of the price. No offense. I will say that I do quite enjoy that elevated orchid or water Lily note that pops out. It’s definitely an Excellent spring perfüme. But, I just don’t see all the hype. Especially for the price.

  39. :

It’s nice and I can see why it’s popular. The bottle is cool, and it’s pleasant and well made. On my skin however, it’s WAY too sweet, and has no depth. Should be called sugar bomb. It’s too bad I really like the notes, it’s just not what I get at all. All I get is sweet, sweet, sweet. Barely any patch or florals, just sugar puff.

  40. :

    3 out of 5

This does not smell like flowers or LVEB on me. I’m getting more vanilla with patchouli. How, I’m not sure because I do not see vanilla in the notes. It smells more like Black Opium on me than anything else. It’s not at all what I expected with my skin chemistry. I like it but I like Black Opium better. My chemistry must not agree with this perfume.

  41. :

Anice Gourmand scent , so sweet and creamy , I expected to find Chocolate as one of the notes, but amazed I did not .

A sophisticated, oriental, sensual floral fragrance of epic projection and longevity.
This is the scent of a charming romantic lady who knows exactly what she wants in life, has exceptional manners, knows how to dress herself and how to speak her mind without being offensive.
In my opinion, also, the formula of this fragrance has very much inspired the body of Jimmy Choo’s “Jimmy Choo”, as “Flowerbomb” was launched six years prior to the above, and because both perfumes have the same basic nose-creator.
As far as the price matter is concerned though, “Jimmy Choo” is more accessible.
During hot spring and summer days use “Flowerbomb” sparingly, as its sillage might be disturbing to your entourage.

  43. :

    3 out of 5

For something called flowerbomb, this is a surprisingly pure patchouli. The other floral notes can be noticed, but are by far overpowered the patchouli. It has a pretty strong projection for a perfume advertised as floral, but comprated to other oriental scents it is pretty soft. On me it easily lasts 6 hours.
Personally I’m not a fan. It is simply too much patchouli for me. That being said, this is still a quality perfume. I think it could be good for people who like “Angel” and other perfumes heavy on patchouli.

  44. :

    4 out of 5

this is one of those scents now that i find way too sweet. i wore it throughout my undergrad and it felt very classy at the time, but then again i was born in a barn and have made a lot of questionable decisions. it just smells so sugary and young, like something you would gift to a spoiled teenager. now i smell this everywhere on everyone and their mother and it is a lovely scent to be sure, i don’t mind it at all, but it brings to mind flowers made out of icing on a cake.

  45. :

    5 out of 5

I actually blind bought a bottle of this without ever smelling it in stores (never a good idea) because it’s SO popular so I thought I couldn’t be that bad. And I was right, it wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t for me. The scent is just too heavy for me and personally it didn’t smell floral, the spice really overpowered it. But most importantly, this stuff is CRAZY overpriced! Its really not worth the splurge.

  46. :

    5 out of 5

For the name “Flowerbomb”, it has a more fruity note with the bergamot being quite strong in the opening and my husband said it smelt soapy. But the dry-down scent is quite nice with the orchid and patchouli notes. This doesn’t last long on my skin but I would prefer to use this for a night time scent as it can be too strong to use during the day. The bottle is very pretty.

  47. :

    3 out of 5

The name is a bit misleading, I don’t really get flowers. Maybe some orchid, but this is mostly sweet, with patchouli hanging around. I liked it after trying it for the first few times. The problem is, I am not the only one. I smell Flowerbomb everywhere, and all the time, and this makes me not want to wear it. Also, with time, my liking for this perfume has just decreased. I will not repurchase.

  48. :

    3 out of 5

It’s a nice fragrance, can’t complain too much, but does tend to get cloying. Plus it’s so popular as to become boring, and when you smell every young woman around you drenched in this scent. I also think it’s extremely overpriced. Scentwise though, it’s a nice fallback perfume when you don’t know what to wear, and the men love it. Tea note as well as rose is most prominent for me. I don’t really understand the comparisons to LVEB in all honesty, I could call them distant cousins just because of the strong patchouli, but other than that they seem very different to me.

  49. :

    3 out of 5

I know many compare this to LVEB and i can see why but LVEB for me is deeper and more elegant whilst this one gives me headache

I LOVE this scent. I do prefer sweeter scents over others and this one is beautiful. It’s initial smell is sweet and fresh. It’s not heavy and it lasts quite I while. I could wear this in the day or night time. After a little bit of time, the scent deepens just a little bit into a warmer smell but somehow still keeps its fruity scent. I would wear this everyday!

  53. :

Look, I love this scent. Genuinely beautiful when I smell it on others or on paper. Enough so that I went in to buy it for myself today. I decided to try it on my skin first just to be sure. Annnnnd excuuuse me ! but I don’t know if the bottle was old or what but this smelt like piss on me ! Literal urine. DEVASTATED !!!! I got the Bloom version instead which i love as well.
Seriously though, I know why the issue is…. lucifers note (patchouli)
It has a way of just destroying any lovely scent on me. It’s rare that patchouli doesn’t turn revolting on me….*internal scream*

Smells like jimmy choo – jimmy choo – sickly sweet . Not my cup of tea . Sorry

  55. :

    3 out of 5

It’s a very pretty and sparkling perfume, but lacking in depth. It isn’t special or extraordinary, because it’s facets are few, the perfume being composed mostly of weak floral accent combinations, making for an almost immature scent at perfume standards. Flowers in nature are naturally beautiful scents, but in the perfumery world, it’s unimpressive when floral fumes are all you have to offer.

  56. :

    3 out of 5

Super sweet and pretty.. reminds me of LVEB but without the praline note. I don’t see how anyone could be offended by this fragrance unless it’s oversprayed, then it could definitely be cloying because of how syrupy sweet it is. If you’re into fruitchoulis this is essential to your collection!
This is such a popular fragrance and it’s easy to see why. It’s quite strong and projects nicely. I’m not ashamed to say it’s one of my favorites for its ease of wear. If I can’t decide what to wear, this is a great one to reach for. It’s a luxurious-smelling fragrance, when I wear this one I feel like I have my life together! The bottle is lovely too, a pretty little glass grenade 😉

God I love this. Its in my top 10 for sure. I receive compliments and feel beautiful when wearing this pink jewel. It doesn’t seem to have a dry down but stays exactly the same the whole time which I enjoy very much with this particular perfume. For me Flowerbomb is a spectacular fragrance.

Ladies, I confess this was a blind buy. And much to my chagrin, I cannot smell this scent on me. Zero projection from my neck to nose. I tried FB on one wrist, then Diesel Loverdose Red Kiss on another. Both blind buys. LD is amazing. The smell projected beautifully from wrist to nose, I didn’t even have to bring my nose to the wrist, as for FB, I could barely smell it on my wrist even putting it flush against my nose.
I can’t even tell you what it smells like because I can’t smell it.
Super disappointed. Especially for such an expensive fragrance. Don’t believe the hype.
I don’t understand how this perfume is rated as having big sillage and a long- lasting scent.
My mother and sister-in-law couldn’t smell it either. For that price, I expect sillage and staying power.
Try it before you buy it.

Wow. I like this quite a bit. It’s a very cosy and sensual sweater scent. Until today, I’ve only smelled Flowerbomb in magazine pages, which really kind of take the worst parts of this perfume and magnify them tenfold. I’ve always assumed that this smells exactly like Lancome La Vie Est Belle, which I’ve tested in stores countless times. The thing is, aside from their general fruitchouli nature, I don’t find that they smell that much alike. There’s something in La Vie Est Belle that eventually overwhelms me and gives me a day long headache. I think it’s Iso E Super, but I’ve also found that it might coincide with the praline note. This extra thing that La Vie Est Belle has is common in almost all of the Lancome scents I’ve sniffed. It’s something very strong and sharp to my nose. Back to Flowerbomb, it starts out very fruity with a hint of citrus. Seriously like a bottled iced tea and then it morphs to something more bitter like Earl Grey tea. Pretty cool. When it starts drying down, it becomes almost chocolaty with the patchouli. Unfortunately, this is not as long lasting as La Vie Est Belle, but I do prefer the smell of this one and I appreciate being spared a headache.

When I sprayed it, it smelled nice at first, but it has some nasty sharpness in the drydown, I just want to rub it off my skin… I’m not sure if I could tell the difference if I smelled it somewhere, if it is Flowerbomb or Lancome La vie est belle, for me they smell identical.

I’ve been curious about this fragrance for a long time and finally tested it. As many have said before, it’s really more of a patchouli bomb than a flower bomb, but I really like it. It’s very sweet, warm, and spicy. There are no spice notes listed, but I definitely get spiciness. I also smell a lot of vanilla which is not listed either. The patchouli is just right for me, not at all too strong as it is in some fragrances. A winner for me!

I used to own this back in the year it first came out and i swear it smelt so much more rich and luxurious then. I smelt this again last week for the first time since then and it smells really watery and less impressive.

I like this perfume. It has a warm, sweet, floral smell. That being said, LVEB is so similar that I would probably never decide to purchase a bottle of this. In my opinion, LVEB smells much better and lasts so much longer! To me Flowerbomb smells like LVEB’s boring sister.

    This perfume is sweet
I’d say the notes are honey & cereals (biscuity)
    Hardly any flowers
Perfect for cold winter & Autumn days

Ok…after all this time since it has been out…I sniffed this for the first time (on MY skin). I have surely smelled it on others ,due ti it’s popularity.
I happen to find this scent…a LOVE. I can see the resemblance to Lancome LVEB…but…Flowerbomb is waaayy
easier to “wear”. Not as cloying as LVEB at all ,IMO.
However…I have also received today ,a “dupe” of Flowerbomb, by Preferred Fragrances, called Petal Pop.
I sprayed FB on one hand, and Petal Pop on the other, and “WHAM !”….could NOT tell/sense a major difference in the two of them !!! The Petal Pop cost me like $12, and the new 1.7oz Flowerbomb cost me $43 plus shipping on eBay auction, which was a complete STEAL. (yea!!).
Guess which one lasted longer on my skin….????
YUP !!! Petal Pop out-performed the Flowerbomb …what a shocker…lol.Back -up bottle of Petal Pop goes on the re-buy list asap…….

Sampled this through a subscription service recently. Smells ok. Was expecting something more unique,or exotic, or….SOMETHING, from all the hype that this fragrance receives. Alas, I was very disappointed. It’s sweet…and that’s about it. I cannot decipher any of the notes listed. I don’t get much floral as the name would suggest “flowerbomb”? ..not really. A bit on the generic side honestly and doesn’t last long on me.Overpriced for the performance and overhyped for the scent itself. I won’t be purchasing a full bottle of this one.

I used to write this one off, but I wore it again today and have a newfound appreciation for it. It’s honey and patchouli. I don’t usually like honey in fragrances because many of them smell artficially sweet. They give me Sweet N’ Low when I want caramelized cane sugar. This is what I’m looking for. Honey isn’t listed in the notes, but maybe that’s the orchid and tea aspect? This is a sweet tea if it’s tea at all. The patchouli reminds me a lot of Queen Latifah’s perfume. I’d actually consider Flowerbomb and Queen sisters, but Queen’s patchouli is distinct
