Description

Kenzo Flower In The Air was launched in the summer 2013 as a new interpretation of the original perfume Flower by Kenzo from 2000. A new version comes out in 2014 – Flower In The Air Eau de Toilette. This is a fresh, light interpretation of the original intended for every day wear.

The scent is ultra – fresh and sparkling floral. Accords of zesty pink grapefruit and sweet pear are placed at the top of the composition. Its floral heart combines dazzling rose and freesia. The base ends the composition with elegant white musk.

Available as 30 and 50 ml Eau de Toilette.
The nose behind this fragrance is Alberto Morillas.

Somehow Kenzo Flower In The Air line reminds me of Hugo Boss Femme line. They are both sweet and GENTLE fragrances for spring and summer.
Kenzo Flower In The Air EDT is similar to the EDP but has a slightly different sweetness. The EDP has deeper sweetness from raspberry and gardenia, and this one has lighter scent from pear and freesia. Both the EDT and EDP have dominant rose petal scent in the dry down and weak musk in the back stage (the musk in this EDT however is a little lighter than in the EDP). The two bottle have the same shape with each other. But the EDT has a silver color spray and the EDP has a black color spray.
Definitely will layer them two, just to enhance sillage, as their longevity is already good enough on my skin (over 5 hours).

Lovely sophisticated smell however it only lasts for 5 minutes and I cannot smell it on myself at all. My fav Kenzos are Ca sent beau, the original Kenzo and Flower. I can smell them on me all day and they leave a trace around. I really do not get this poor quality in Kenzo.

Light and moderately sweet floral. No bitterness that you would usually expect in a flower-based perfume. Pleasant daytime scent, lovely spring/summer fragrance. Could wish for a stronger sillage though.

Rather nice, this is a typical Morillas creation, pretty, floral, clean, but nothing amazing…I found it at a very good price for my mom, who likes those types of clean florals..I don’t think you would go wrong wearing this., especially in spring and summer, you would smell good…now for me, it just isn’t too interesting…lots of freesia, grapefruit, nice and safe..I much prefer the depth of the edp..

I have already purchased the second bottle of this scent as I really love this one. It is really elegant and sweet but not smells childish. It really labels the users’ personality, make the users be like easygoing and sweet.

TOTALLY FLOWERY… Daytime mostly. Long lasting and not too overpowering. If you love floral ones, this is REALLY floral…

Fresh, inoffensive, easy and not too sweet. A nice perfume for spring time! Nothing in common with the original Flower, thankfully (I hate that perfume!) It lacks personality, but everything doesn’t have to be super niche. It’s a perfume for those days you just want to smell nice.
I think Flower in the air EdT would be a good “first perfume” for a teen: young at heart, not too strong, fun and still kinda elegant. And the bottle is beautiful, as always with Kenzo.

This amazes me! I really didn’t like the original flower, so I was suspicious about it. Still, I gave this one a chance.
I must say it’s very light, tender, inoffensive and pleasant scent. At first it was a little powdery and spicy, but a few hours later it’s all about sweet pear and light citruses.
A cute perfume, more suitable for summer than winter.
It doesn’t seem like Kenzo though, not powdery enough…
Just a nice, lightly sweet and fruity perfume.

Today the SA gave a sample of this eau de toillete, because I was looking for a fresh but long lasting fragrance for the summer.
I came home, have a bath and tried. In the beginning is fresh and fruity, then became more and more sweet, reminds me those body splash you can find in the drugstore or in the supermarket.
I think the SA offered me because is a new release, but I found it too sweet for the very hot days we are having here in Uruguay. Our summer is hot and wet so I won’t buy this very fruity sweet fragrance.

Just tried this on today and I did not like it at all. I tested both EDP and EDT, they smelled like 2 different perfumes. EDT failed to keep the elegant and powdery rose smell, instead it opened with intense citrus with a little hint of rose which made it smell so cheap, like a body mist. And these 2 notes lasted very long and got no sillage at all. After 3 hours, I can finally smell freesia and white musk, which I wish they stuck to these notes than grapefruit.I’d buy and wear hands down if it smelled like its dry down. Grapefruit just overwhelms all the other floral notes and even the pear. Did not smell pear at all.

Very diifferent from the violet scent of the original. This one smells of rose and citrus but has got a very pronounced creamy and bitter white musk base note. Very watery and with no projection whatsoever. I do not even find the scent appealing. Would never buy or even wear this.
