I have never properly worn the original Gorgeous Gardenia, but as i can recollect, they don’t really smell all the same.
This limited edition is a very creamy floral fruity scent. There even seams to be smth slightly gourmand-ish over it. I didn’t expect much from it, as i am not into all this flora series. But i quite liked it. I think the color of the bottle suits the juice (although i find that yellow quite ugly). The problem here for me is longevity. When testing, i sprayed it 2-3 times on my neck. Already 5 min later i thought it was a little too weak. So added a couple of spritzes, still the same. So sprayed again. I was getting whiffs of it while shopping, but when i got home an hour later or so, it was barely detectable om my clothes, totally gone from skin. If it wasn’t for the poor performance, i would recommend giving it a try.

I’ve sampled this fragrance – really nice, but nothing like a real gardenia.
What I can’t figure out is WHY, if the perfume is supposed to be gardenia, they put tiger lilies and day flowers on the “limited edition” box?! Lilies smell great, and day flowers smell like nothing. Gardenias are incredibly beautiful to look at. PUT ONE ON THE BOX!!

I just wish that they do more of the original flora line instead of garden collection line… and the opaque design bottle should be match to flora 1966 edition (and i wish the do some spin off to flora 1966 editon too)
