This was a blind buy for me. I had hoped it would be sweeter, but the only way I could describe this fragrance is green fresh. It’s a little on the stingy, sour side, which I don’t like that much, but it is still interesting enough for me to keep. When it dries it gets a little sweeter, but still not as much as I would have wanted.
I feel a lemon note but I can’t find it in the notes to rate it.
Edit: I like it, but it seems like the kind of perfume I’d wear to a work dinner with people I hate. Mwahahahaha
Later edit: how do you get this thing off? It stays after a thorough shower and intense soaping of my wrists.

If green had a smell this would be it. It just smells green…no way to explain it, just is.
This is one of those perfumes that I am anosmic too. I can barely smell it unless my nose is close up to my skin. Yet, my family say it’s a powerhouse and when I put it on they can smell it everywhere, apparently I leave a trail.
It has the tart citrus green opening of the original Cabotine with the addition of florals. The note that stands out for me the most is Heliotrope with some background floral. It is a lovely well blended fragrance and I feel just perfect for, “It’s the end of Winter let’s herald in the Spring” statement type of day.
I wish it didn’t smell so light to me but I will be very aware that it can be a green flower bomb for others.

It reminds me of Cabotine but with sweet notes

This fragrance, if one can call it that, does not lend itself to the definition of what perfumery is. If it is “Fleur de Cabotine” then which floral are we speaking about? An attractive shiny metallic box and a pretty bottle, but is the juice worth the effort?
A sharp odd green opening overshadowed by alcohol and water, if that is what “Fleur de Cabotine” is going for then they certainly achieved it! I think cactus is a sweet smell not so where is it in this brew? And I don’t get the peonies or nectarines at all. Its not chemical per say, its just as if you drown some green floral in loads of watery alcohol. It isn’t even eau de parfum quality. This is missing key elements, a no joy perfume that does zip on my skin in terms of sillage or longevity

Very pretty bottle. It can be a little overwhelming. After a few minutes I begin to feel like an older lady trying to hold on to her youth. Strange layering of scents for me!

Godawful chemical mess. The only fragrance I ever bothered to return to TJ Maxx.

This is a subtle fragrance for a subtle nose. It’s easy to dismiss, but to me it’s refreshing and perfect for hot weather. The musks are prominent but not obnoxious or dirty, and the florals are light and watery. I started out thinking it was boring and generic, but with time came to understand what a great fragrance this is. I am now on my 3rd bottle

This stuff is just awful to me. Cheap and synthetic smelling. Green but not clean. Cloying and smells like Calgon body spray BUT WORSE. There are good, cheap fragrances, just not this one.
I rarely hate a fragrance but Fleur de Cabotine is so not for me. It’s very green, yet oddly syrupy. Somehow manages to be painfully sweet and acidic at the same time.

Some women could smell good wearing it. I don’t feel good in it, not because it smells unclean, but because it smells like French harlot (I am French, so I can joke like this). The musk is too strong, the floral is acidic and the bottle is the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen. It looks like it could be marketed towards pre-teen girls, but it smells like something only suited for an older, more mature woman. If it is worn on such a woman, she could smell good: like one who likes to wear strong perfumes but not asphyxiate others with the smell…it can smell clean enough to wear on a daily basis or turn it into a special occasion fragrance…Not for dates, unless you want to seem like one who doesn’t care to transition from working everyday life to datelife. To be honest, it is cheap, but not the worse on the market, and not everyone smells cheap while wearing it. I don’t like it.

I love Cabotine and Pastel, so I was surprised at how negatively my senses reacted to this. I don’t just “not care for” it, I find that it is actually a little nauseating. Pretty bottle and color though,

All you fellow gardeners out there, take out your mowers.
Aim indiscriminately toward the lawn (it doosn’t matter if there are some pretty spring flowers in the way) – AND MOW!
Just blend up that first cut grass of the spring with some lovely snowdrops, crocuses and the first narcissi, and what the hell, just take the mower to the hedge too!
The scent of the beginning of life, of the first mowing of spring, of the flowers that wake early from the long cold winter, of the first cliiping of the hedge.
Mmmmm – spring, here we come!

very lovely and perfect for warm months.reminds me ralph lauren turquoise, maybe same style cactus freshness,if you dont like lemon-orange notes at summer perfumes,i think this one is a good choice.long lasting and good price.

This is a great everyday fragrance. Light, peppy, feel good perfume.

I fell prey for the irresistible bottle, but I find the perfume quite pleasant too. It is a very happy and invigorating casual fragrance, fresh and sweet at the same time. Something to be worn in the morning or during the workout(in my case). It is pretty loud, like almost everything from Gres, so you will be heard wearing it. On me it lasted at least 2 hours, but the longevity might be beyond that, because I took a shower. There is nothing elegant or sophisitcated about it, but at the same it is not a boring or cheap smelling fragrace. I would describe it as energizing and fizzy.
Worth trying if you are looking to expand you casual wardrobe.

This smells like – and I mean this in the most sincere and complimentary way – the best dryer sheet or fabric softener EVER. Very heavy on the “laundry musks.”
When I want a cuddly, clean and fresh scent, this never fails to lift my spirits, comfort me and make others around me feel that way too.

A fragrance that screams BARCELONA to me! If you want something fresh and summery, but hate the typical plain floral-fruity options, try this.
Edit: I discovered this should actually be a unisex fragrance. I think because of the cactus and the woodiness, it could suit men too!

This starts off as a Tarty lime then
dries down to a powderly note of vanilla
orchid is diffinily making her presence
know necterine is like a supporting player in the note game and the bottom
warm amber this does remind of of bubblegum juicy fruit to be exact.

This reminds me of the men’s scent Perry Ellis 360, with just a hint of sweetness. This is a green scent, but it but it doesn’t have that “sneezy” note some greens develop. This is a very wearable scent, but unfortunately, it doesn’t last very long on my skin.

This smells like the Spic and Span degreasing liquid that I use to clean my kitchen counters, then dries down into a lysol and lemon mix. Blech!

This one comes off way too masculine for my taste. It opens as a super crisp bright green aromatic. Then a slightly sweet soda pop smell emerges but the blend never really warms to my skin. It remains cool and detached…different, but not what I would call pretty or feminine at all. I don’t get much of the floral or musk, they just never seem to develop. Maybe my man will give it a try. I’ll just have to hide the bottle, which is much prettier than this juice.
Update: Alright, I have to admit when I’m wrong…I tried this one again in hot weather and it was much better. The florals came to life and all day I was surrounded by a big bright carbonated soda bubble, light and sparkly fresh.
It’s got a unique character that just needed a little heat to make it “pop”.

Umm… I smell somethin tasty there, a light unusual sweetness, a mix of water, green and sweet notes. I imagin it myself like a kind of cactus bubblegum.

I really wanted to love this one, as the bottle is so beautiful and the notes seemed pleasant, but unfortunately it is just an average like, at best.
I love green scents, and this is definitely a GREEN scent, but just a tad on the sharp side.
For some reason it conjures images of Estee Lauder Aliage or Jacomo Silences, but a little more mainstream (ie. no oakmoss). Maybe a little similar to the current Paco Rabanne Calandre on me. Lasting power was all day, which is rare for a scent these days.

Starts lemony-lime like Sprite or 7-Up, moves to a jumbled supermarket floral bouquet and settles in with a dollar store musk.
Pretty box, pretty bottle but a very, very ordinary scent. Not bad and certainly not offensive. Just… ordinary.
After sampling I concluded that even at a discount price of $9.99 (at a major U.S. discount store) for 50ml edt spray it’s simply too mediocre to bother with.
Disappeared within an hour on my skin.
(For perspective: I love Cabotine and very much like her sisters Cab Rose, Cab Blue and Cab Sensuelle. I found Cab Aquarelle & Pastel both just too wishy washy or perhaps, in turn, too watery & too pale.)

Very soft but warm floral and it is a tad bit sweet.I like this one.Beautiful bottle too, it has yellow at the top that blends in to green at the bottom. So pretty and I usually keep my fragrances in the boxes but this one I want to display!

The top of this fragrance is very fresh, slightly citrus.
The heart reveals a floral bouquet, very confortable and feminine.
The emphasis of the base is in musk notes.
In my skin, have a floral/green nuance.
Light and perceptive, for a warm evening in spring.
