Unbelievably gorgeous fragrance for all year round enjoyment. It reminds me a lot of the legendary Victoria’s Secret Very Sexy Now The Beauty Of Brazil, because both of them provide me one of the most luxurious and tasty coconut combination. Coconut, mango and spice here work their magic on my skin. All I smelled was a delicious flavor of tropical fruits and flowers combined. The dry down is a very smooth and warm ambery woody and musky feel. It is truly an exotic fragrance of Far Away. My favorite one of the line. LOVE it so much!

This is a tropical scent but it’s less of a Caribbean getaway smell and more of a middle eastern holiday scent because of the spices. I get a lot of saffron from this which is really beautiful but not that much coconut, which makes me a little sad because I really love coconut in scents. It is still really beautiful and is definitely a summer nights frag or even a winter frag because of the spice. If you want to bring summer to you during the winter then this is a great option!

Just beautiful – creamy – dreamy exotic . My fave far away ! Let me know if there is something similar to this guys .

I wear this from time to time, the temperature has to be *just right* to make it really sing. Too cold and I get mainly the woodsy base notes, and the fragrance reads a bit synthetic and dry (oddly enough). Too warm and the sweetness gets a little sticky. I *have* found that this effect can be diminished by altering how much or how little I apply, so that’s a plus. Worn appropriately, this perfume is actually really delightful.
On me it’s a creamy, lightly spiced jasmine/rose, on a big, marshmallowy cloud of soft musk and very sweet, golden amber. It smells like a warm mix of candy and flowers and saffron. There are definite hints of ripe, juicy mango and bright mandarin in the beginning, though I don’t get much distinct patchouli or coconut at any point (which is fine, they’re just blended in with the other notes). Very good quality for the price point. When I finish the bottle there’s a good chance I’ll repurchase since it’s a lovely and easy fragrance to have on hand.

No coconut, just mango and orange…pretty tropical, I was hoping to smell coconut but it’s just not there. Moderate everything….I REALLY recommend the original Far Away!! That’s delicious in a cold weather

Spicy mango-sandalwood-patchouli-musk. Surprisingly, for an Avon fragrance, a lot of personality in this one and surprises during the drydown. The drydown is still fruity but: warm, spicy, womanly, lovely. I’d classify this as a sensual fragrance, for sure. Makes others want to get closer. Certainly smells more expensive than what I paid for it, which was, I believe, less than fifteen bucks.
Lasting power is exceptional; I smell this on myself after more than 8 hours.
This one morphs, so give it a chance if you don’t like the first sprays. If you’re into tropical fruit scents and fruitchoulis, give this one a try.

@unlitcigar – you’re supposed to wash away the body odour first by having a bath or shower.
Boho style fragrance which would be glorious on glamorous women aged 45+
It was therefore not right for my age but stunning anyway.
Spicy, fruity, and rich but not strong enough for my perfume eating skin. With this fragrance having moderate sillage, it’s a skin scent on me 🙁
If it was stronger, I’d wear it with an ethnic style dress and statement necklace.

With this latest buy, I feel, for once in my life, that I have a perfect, and complete perfume collection for every season, and for every mood.
I sprayed this once a few summers ago and liked it a lot, but got caught up buying other frags instead.
I finally got a full bottle of this and I am so glad I have revisited this one.
Its really beautiful and it LASTS FOREVER. I unfortunately cant say the same about some more expensive perfumes Ive bought, many these days just do not last, and its now a guideline I use for what to buy. If it smells beautiful but doesnt last… I am not going to buy it. Wont even bother sniffing it. (Burberry is a perfect example of this. I love it, but after awhile it just made me angry because it simply does not last and its not at all a cheap perfume).
I wish everyone would follow suit, because if something doesnt last longer than an hour or two, you are just being jipped for the money you spend.
Maybe we can vote for better quality perfumes with our dollars?
Anyway… Exotic is exactly this to me: A very unusual, but wholly harmonic blend of Rose, fresh hot black tea, mandarin, and coconut.
It reminds me of a flower shop with lots of wicker stuff in it, or… sort of the way Cost Plus Import stores smelled in the late 80’s.
A really relaxing, pleasing, and stimulating scent. There’s a bit of the exotic and also homey coziness in this scent…all at once.
If you are looking for coconut, you will certainly pick that up in this fragrance, its definitely prominent but its not an obvious beach scent at all.
Very unusual coconut concoction here, and it works so very well.
    LOVE.

We’re having a heatwave here right now and I’ve totally been craving either fruity or coconut frags. I put this on the other night and hubby (who was on the other side of the room working) was all ” oh wow, you smell amazing right now”. I love Far Away, but I think this one works best when there’s a breeze flowing around or near you as there was on this night. Something about the heat and breeze just makes this version sing. Beautiful wafts of coconut, vanilla and floral deliciousness. It just begs for a cocktail sipped by an expensive pool somewhere. Total love for me 🙂

I received my roll on deo yesterday. I don’t know, with so many beautiful reviews, some say LouLou ??? some say tea like, (I love tea) but I don’t get any tea, no chai, no jasmine, no rose, no spices. Just some old stale musty smell. I must say on me it stinks. It is supposed to deodorise the body odour, but this one exaggerates it, and masks it to smell worse that my own BO. All I get is mango in the top, then very old decaying amber & sandalwood. Sorry to so many lovers.

    And another fabulously gorgeous bottle!!!

I’ve been seeing this around but was very hesitant to try. It was until I read so many good reviews that I decided to give it a chance. But I must say, I was AMAZED!!! This stays on me for more than 7 hours and has a really good sillage.
The composition overall is warm, sweet, and a bit spicy. To me, it has a certain allure that got me HYPNOTIZED! I just can’t stop smelling my wrist when I’m wearing this.
It’s truly the “PASSAGE TO INDIA” like what its first campaign claims as it brings back fond memories of the Diwali festival I’ve ever been a part of. There is a certain light and color to this scent that I can’t describe but the syrupy sweetness and hint of spice resembles EXOTIC fares namely Gulab jamun, Jalebi, & mango Chutney. I ADORE this creation from Avon and I’d be devastated should they decide to discontinue it.

Far away exotic by avon starts of really sweet, the dry down is what i like to imagine a fine incense from Morroco with some creamy notes. It could pass for a designer fragrance. The bottle itself looks cheap, but i like the royal purple tassle. I have the 1.7 ounce spray bottle. Update – i have recently noticed that this perfume has a dill pickle smell. I love dill pickles, but i dont want to smell like subway deli sandwich.

I got this in a swap and I love it. This is a delicious tropical blend with a little spice. The mango, coconut and tea blend so beautifully together. I love the way it develops on my skin, it’s a little strong at first blast but it softens into something very unique and lovely smelling. This is a great summery gourmand, which I have been looking for 🙂

As a far away lover, I loved the far away exotic as soon as I sprayed it n my skin and clothes..to me it’s the old lovely far away but with some delicious mango <3 mango and sweet are too intensive here. I love it although I don’t like most of this kind of sweetie Perfumes !
I love this mango color “the bottle” alot <3
And I love all the far aways bottles of course <3
    Scent:8/10
    Sillage:6/10
Longevity: On my skin 5/10 ..but clothes it’s 9/10

I purchased this to match up notes in my Judith Leiber Night lotion, which I purchased because I just really liked the scent. I went through here and searched out common notes and decided on Far Away Exotic, since it was summer and I’d worn the original Far Away years ago and liked it.
This frag is so “beachy” and so fun! It makes you think of cabanas and beach sarongs and pooka shell necklaces. It’s just all that rolled up into a pretty little bottle (albeit topped with a weird yin-yang plastic ‘hat’). I purchased the gift set with the lotion, bath gel and frag for 12.00. Unbeatable price, and when it came I compared the Judith Leiber to the FA-E and was surprised at how much they complimented one another.
I’m really big on trying to create fragrance combinations that harmonize, so I blend things often. I’m going to pair this frag with Queen Latifah’s QUEEN body butter that I just bought…I have a feeling they will ‘sing’ well together, as the fruity-cobbler-warming notes are all there, ready to harmonize with each other. In my review for ‘QUEEN’, I commented on how similar it was to Judith Leiber’s NIGHT, and I think that blending these two will lead to something a little more complex, but definitely summery. We’ve only got about six weeks left of summer so I will milk it for all I can!

I like this tropical coconut – mango scent. I love the price as well. The only problem is , this fragrance develops nowhere on my skin because it lasts only while I am still spraying it on myself I think

  20. :

way lighter and softer than original Far Away. But too powdery to me. Lots of rose, not enough “spice.” Sadly, not what I was expecting. Take out the rose and I might love it. But the rose adds a touch of “grandma’s garden” that doesn’t feel youthful or exotic to me. I am 23.

  21. :

Far Away Exotic is my favorite Far Away. I place it with Kenzo Jungle L’Elephant and Hermes Un Jardin Après La Mousson. The spices are front and center. This is the way India smells in my dreams. (I know the reality would mostly fall short in the city, but…)

  22. :

I really, really wanted to like this, especially having read the reviews and checked out the notes.
My samples arrived today and I was taken aback by the strong, sickly-sweet opening; I think it’s mango. It also smelled a bit like lipstick.
Now it has settled, and there is mango, coconut, and holiday 🙂 I totally get why people describe this as having the smell of a beach holiday. It really is the scent of holidays in a bottle.
Unfortunately, both on and for me, the lipstick(synthetic) smell hasn’t gone and the mango is too sweet. I know that sounds bonkers because mango IS sweet. And I love mango; how it smells, how it tastes, and its juice. But this is sweet mango gone wrong. It’s too synthetic.
It’s not an unpleasant fragrance by any means and I understand its appeal, but it just doesn’t suit my chemistry. I can’t get my stomach to agree with my nose. It’s nauseating. I’m very disappointed and envious of those of you who can wear this.
Now I just have to work out what to do with the 9.5 sample-size vials I have and will not use (they were only £3 so at least I haven’t wasted loads of money on a scent I dislike).

On me that’s a spicy mango/papaya bomb plus chai latte.
Such a grown up no-nonsense gourmand which I can actually tolerate.

When I first tried this perfume I did not like it at all. I never got past the opening, put it back in a drawer and forgot about it. Nine months later, give or take, I stumbled across it in a fit of purging the house of my unused and clutter-defining items and spayed some on. I still wasnt crazy about the opening, but maybe twenty minutes later I noticed it had changed into something I did not hate. In fact, it was interesting and sort of comforting. I have now been wearing it for a few days and can say that, for me at least, it has become addicting. I like it a lot! I do not get much, if any, patchouli which is great for me because I have a very bad relationship with patchouli. Far Away Exotic is comforting, different and something I look forward to putting on. It lasts a decent amout of time on me. Love that! My skin eats scents and I usually only ever get two or three hours out of one, but this lasts a good five hours or so. Something of a miracle! I just bought a bottle on Amazon and am happily awaiting its arival. So, cheers to you, Avon! Thanks and job well done!

Hmmm delicious coconut mango juice opens this wonderful longlasting scent, followed by bright sweet jasmin, spiced up to an oriental delight with a woody and balmy undertone. I sprayed it yesterday evening and when i went to bed some hours later, it was still very detectable under my sheets, when i felt asleep, dreaming about my next tropical holidays 😉

Just smelled an old, dried sample of this and couldn’t remember it smelling so good. Either my tastes have changed or the drydown becomes even more divine with time. So far I cannot wear the Far Away family, but this one has great promise.
If I can get a hold of some more, I will try to see what everyone is talking about. Tea? I love spicy tea! Now I’m anxious to see if I can identify it. How could I have let this one go under the radar? Well, live and learn.

Far Away Exotic lasts all day on my skin even with only one spray, and is very versatile: not too sweet, but not too spicy; not too heavy for daytime wear, but not too weak for evenings; tropical and cheerful for summer, but also powerful enough for moderate winters. A true gem, considering that this is Avon (not thought of as a high-end shop) and how inexpensive I purchased it for.It actually competes with, or even outdoes, some of my more expensive perfumes and CPOs!
EDIT- I’ve lately had some bad reactions to sweet scents in general- keep in mind that this fruity-spice bomb is definitely sweet!

It is incredible how this unexpensive litte fragrance develops on skin. Its dynamics is something you can find on those expensive eaux de toilette by European brands. I don’t think it is too chemical like some reported here. I really think it is better than you can get or find for such a low price.
It is good for summer day and night-time. Very tropical and yummy, really appealing to your mouth and nose. I have it and tried it several times in order to describe it more accurately here.
Either on skin or paper/fabric, it starts with a strong spicy-mango chord, very hot and pungent. You can detect a weak coconut note. One might think it is not that good at first, but I garantee it improves a lot.
After about half an hour, that coconut note reveals itself more clearly, along with woody notes, going on like this untill the end, but never loosing its tropical aspect.
I would not say the rest of the notes listed here are very detectable, but it does not spoil the fragrance at all. It is beautiful just the way it was conceived.
If you look for a stronger coconut chord, go for that Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Eau Fraîche Skinscent 2014, (or other similar of the same line): it is marvelous, tropical and yummy.
Now, if a less spicy, more natural mango is what you look for, try Jeanne Arthes Love Generation do Brasil. It is a delicious mango explosion. Lovely and affordable. I wrote a review about it.
Jeanne Arthes also has Sexy Coconut, known as a good coconut-suntan-fragrance.
Far Away Exotic? I recommend it!

To me, the opening of this is like a cheap booze, a stale one to boot. It’s the dry down I’m in love with…gorgeously creamy and soothing. It lasts a long time which I’m greatful for. Lovely stuff.

Oh my goodness !!! this is the most exotic and exquisite perfume I’ve tried. As shocking as the first time I smelled Far Away, I fell in love. However, the same thing always happens to me with my avon fragrances, I addicted, I use them so much, that in the course of the seasons, temperature and other environmental conditions, I end up deciphering all its mysterious facets, and it bores me .
Far away exotic, maintains the quality of the classic, and the secret of its exquisite coconut water (here accentuated by the delicious mango and amazingly scented with a fresh rose water). I do not perceive patchouli note, I smell the soft sandalwood from the previous version, mild spices, some musk, and the wonderful amber gives an immense fixation.

I`m going to agree with the review below mine ·samloves· This smells a bit to artifical for me, I was really excited reading the reviews that it smelled like Bronze Goddess, Reb`l Fleur, someone even said Euphoria. Well No! I´m not sure if the people saying these things own these fragrances but they are so wrong! If anything it smells just a tad bit like Rhianna`s perfume but it`s way synthethic with a tiny bit of coconut. I really did not like this, instead I recommend Far Away Gold which I ordered at the same time. For age reference I´m 26.

I wanted to try the original Far Away but after reading so many great reviews on here and seeing it was mostly tropical smelling I thought it sounded divine. I was disappointed it smelt so synthetic & cheap like a body spray definitely not like a edt. I passed if on to my 19 year old niece who also thought it was unpleasant. So I’m going to give Far Away a go and see how that compares.

  37. :

I love this! I don’t really like the original far away, because of the strong gardenia note. But this one is pure bliss. I get clementines and coconut right off the top. There’s a sunscreen vibe, but a very pleasant one, balanced by the citrus. Then the original citrus zap dies down, and it becomes sweeter and exotic. I get a touch of spice, and a warm base of patchouli ,and sandalwood and coconut. This is all I ever hoped bronze goddess would be (in bornze goddess, ther’s an oiliness and a bitterness that ruins it for me).

I just received a sample of this, and wow it smells like Euphoria by Calvin Klein! It has the same sharp burst of sweet darkness upon hitting the skin but comtinues to develop like Euphoria. It’s very similar on my skin, i’m shocked how alike that it is…. Try it yourself and see!

I thought this might be the ‘young and girly’ fragrance I was looking for but it’s not. It’s fruity and exotic but for an older lady, the reason being that it smells very spicy on me giving it a more mature smell. Sits too close to the skin for me, I would say the sillage was more soft than moderate.

  41. :

i tried this at an avon store. at first sniff i was like this really smells so familiar and i thought what is it. far away exotic does smell like it’s name..”exotic”. then i realized it smells so much like something that i already own that is rihanna reb’l fleur. coconut, patchouli, amber and musk are the similar notes for both of these perfumes. in the end i like reb’l fleur better coz it’s more original. both the sillage and longevity by looking at the votes above, i guess it’s a good one just like the original far away. i prefer the original far away rather than far away exotic. the original one is just so unique unlike any other.

While, I love the classic Far Away, and after reading here some reviews, I decided, this will be great summer perfume! So, i bought it in the middle of the summer, in the hottest days. Of course, I sprayed all over me, and I didn’t like it at all. I tried it a couple of times, in the evening, in the morning.. but I was very disappointed. Where is the expected juicy, sweet mango scent, the creamy tropical coconut, the amber, and the sandalwood? All I got, was cheap, synthetic smell, overwhelming. Very sadly, I didn’t wear it anymore. Till now – it’s december, Christmas time. I tried it yesterday, and I love it <3 <3

  45. :

    4 out of 5

Sadly, on my skin it smells really “chemically” and (I’m really sorry to say) cheap. But the sample itself smells like candy! “Exotic” candy. It’s syrupy sweet, tropical, juicy and vibrant, with a spicy bite. There’s also a lovely floral breeze running through it and I think overall it’s a very nice scent. But it doesn’t work on my skin at all, which is just as well because I don’t think it’s really my style anyway.
Edit: I came back to say that I’m enjoying the dry down. Something about it sort of reminds me of the dry down of Jeau de Peux. And it didn’t take a very long time to get here, but it took longer than most perfumes do (which is probably why I was so quick to dismiss this fragrance.) I might buy a bottle of this just for the dry down.

  46. :

I love the original Far Away and bought this to see what it was like. I have to admit I am hooked. This fragrance is sexy, sweet and luscious! Lasts for hours and can only be described as heady! I really like it. Not at all like some of the other very generic and sometimes boring Avon fragrances. This one smells like it was put together by an expert “nose”! Quite sweet and complex, I detect the coconut and vanilla and the spice is there but very balanced and not too woody or smoky! Very smooth and mouth watering! Delicious!

  47. :

    5 out of 5

Really happy I got this one. I haven’t smelled this combination of notes before. It’s warm and fresh at the same time, gourmand, though feminine. Funny, though, as I’ve never been fond of gourmand perfumes. I’m sure I’ll buy it again and again in the future. And most importantly, it can be used by women of all ages!!

  48. :

    4 out of 5

Wonderful fragrance for fall and winter in small doses. Like another wonderful Avon, Gold, I would advise spraying it and walking through it; the dry down for both is excellent and long lasting. A fragrance does not have to be expensive to be fantastic, Royal Secret, Interlude, Tabu, etc.

  49. :

I used to sell Avon and tried this on a whim. I love it! I have not been able to find anything else like it. But sadly it has been discontinued.

  50. :

I can’t work this one out. I like it and I’m not sure about it at the same time. One minute I’m getting heady, creamy coconut, the next, old pencil sharpenings that have been hanging around for a while. When I sniff close up, sometimes the coconut and pencil shavings disappear, sometimes not, and I smell the prettiness that is Far Away, albeit lighter and more subtle. This is a new one on me, definitely an intriguing, chameleon fragrance. Good lasting power on my skin, always a positive.

  51. :

this is the intense or noir version of rihanna’s reb’l fleur. much more potent and longer lasting.

  52. :

i bought it for the coconut, sweet
but i don’t know what the tropical is but it ruined it
    it smells cheap
the best thing about it is long lasting (for people who love it)
someone said it smells like sun tan lotion.. i think sun lotion smell and much better and classier than it.

I’m mad about it. Far Away Exotic has an incredible coconut scent with sugary/spicy/fruity hints.

  54. :

I expected a heavy, fruity, and powdery scent. Instead, I got an awesome surprise:

Far Away Exotic smells just like my long gone bottle of Gap’s Island Hop Body Spray (before it went bad from heat): soft and fresh piña colada with rosey sandalwood.

I’ll be wearing this all year round 🙂

  55. :

A few months ago, many were recommending Far Away Exotic as one of the better Avon scents. In an effort to open my eyes to more inexpensive brands, I ordered a bulk lot of samples, and Far Away Exotic was one of them.
First of all, I can’t smell that chai tea note, but I do smell some subtle spices. To my nose, Far Away Exotic is a juicy, sweet mango scent, with a hint of tropical coconut and a dash of inoffensive spices. It reminds me a little of Hugo Boss Deep Red.
What surprised me the most about this scent was its soft projection. For some reason I expected a somewhat bold, sweet, almost juvenile fragrance, but I was greeted by something quite different.
Far Away Exotic is not my favourite Avon fragrance, as that award goes to Imari Mystique, but I do enjoy it nonetheless. I wouldn’t mind wearing this fragrance during Summer, or even to the beach.
The longevity is average, and as I mentioned before, the sillage is moderate but not too strong. It was worth trying but I don’t think I’d ever buy a bottle of it.

Sorry folks but this is my guilty pleasure, I love it!! It’s so sweet and ridiculously fruity and it cheers me up on a sad day and makes me smile. Not to be taken too seriously, I love wearing this at bedtime. It makes me dream of the sun, sea and drinking Pina Colada’s on the beach.

I was a fan of the original Far Away as a kid, but I decided to buy Far Away Exotic because I already own a lot of gardenia heavy fragrances.
At the beginning FAE is predominately mango, musk, amber and sandalwood. There is definitely a creamy factor to it that I believe is enhanced by the coconut, but the scent of coconut doesn’t really come through until the final drydown, several hours in.
I tend to prefer heavier, spicier scents so FAE is a great summer fragrance for me. It’s sweet, but not too sweet. Fruity, but doesn’t put me in mind of candy or tropical drinks.
I believe fans of Brasil Dream will greatly enjoy this fragrance.

I love all the Far Away fragrances!!! However, this site doesn’t even have a section for “Far Away Fantasy” (remember? the one with the blue and black yin/yang cap??) Far Away Fantasy is, by far, their best “Far Away”. Again, Avon, I lothe you for taking such a beautiful fragrance from us. I think you made a HUGE mistake discontinuing Far Away Fantasy, and since this site doesn’t have a category for “FAF” I have no choice but to leave my commentary here.

I don’t like the idea of putting suntan lotion in a perfume bottle..I don’t even buy suntan lotion which smells like a typical suntan lotion, which has heavy coconut note in it.
This perfume is heavy stuff, there is too much of everything.
An ideal tropical perfume for me is much more delicate, fruity and yes, fresh.
    Nothing fresh in this one.
You have to love coconut in order to like this.

This is my second Avon perfume (my first is Haiku) and this is a keeper. The other reviews will tell you what it smells like and how long it will last.
What anyone should consider before purchasing a fragrance is:
-Must say something about you; Im not into the super sweet scents of strawberry simply because it isn’t me.
    – Must blend well with your body chemistry. That is the reason why you need to try it on your skin and not rely on how it smells like on paper. Fragrances have different effects depending who is wearing it.
I also live in the tropics so heat and humidity plays a ‘significant’ role when I pick a fragrance. Longevity is a MUST and this perfume goes upto 6-8hrs on my skin. Perhaps taking note my love for tropical fruits of mango and coconut. Personally I don’t think it smells like a suntan lotion. What I get is no doubt mango opening, not too sweet. Mixed it all up with creamy coconut (milk) and add on some amber and woods makes anybody who wear this:
    – Sexy
    – Elegant
    – Mysterious
    and yes no doubt Exotic.
This fragrance evokes warmth and heat but not overbearing. A confident fragrance with a capsulated exotic romanticism…hahahaha. I think Im getting carried away now. For me this would have to be one of the secret perfumes that most don’t know of. All year round fragrance but best worn during summer when the heat helps the notes bloom.
    Merci xox

This is really yummy, creamy, coconut , delicious, soft, i really love it. i don’t like many of Avon eau de toilette fragrances coz many of them smell almost the same and not lasting, but this one changed my long time impression. it is really good surprisingly because i don’t like the first version of Far Away scent and this version Far Away Exotic is really nice.
And you should try City Rush for Her by Avon too, it’s warm and elegant, and the cover girl is Milla Jovovich, international supermodel and actress.
Both Far Away Exotic and City Rush is in eau de parfume which is long lasting than eau de toilette.

A pleasant and quite unpretentious take on the exotic theme, far from banality and very different from the often rhetorical renditions of this overcrowded genre: Far Away Exotic is definitely a nicely done fragrance with some originality to it (really it doesn’t smell alike anything I’ve tried so far), and though it was not love at first smell I can see myself reaching for it more and more, especially as sunny days are approaching..
Top notes left me a bit confused since first applications, and that’s probably due to the fact I am not familiar with mango smell (the only mangoes sold here are obviously imported and almost devoid of any fragrant qualities, probably lacking also the wonderful taste they surely have in the Countries where they are from.. their actual taste reminds me of pine tree, isn’t that strange?). Far Away Exotic opens in an extremely fruity way, a sugar-free but nonetheless mellow juiciness that’s tempered and made quite unusual by a peppery mandarin note, astringent and suave at the same time.. that’s exactly where I am reminded of an orange sunset in some eastern place, and I feel like the peachy color of the juice is a perfect match with the visual impressions evoked by the fragrance.
The initial fruity kick is soon tempered by a luscious creamy blend of coconut and something that, at first, seemed vaguely reminiscent of incense sticks.. I had to google “chai spice” to have an idea of what this note smelled like, and I also managed to prepare this typical Indian drink. For those who’d like to know, the experiment went pretty well and I was enthusiast to compare this fragrant tea’s smell with the mysterious note I couldn’t identify before.. basically, in its heart Far Away Exotic features a blend of spiced black tea and a milky, smooth note that’s surely due to coconut (well, honestly I was hoping for a more prominent and sultry coconut here, but I guess I am still far to find the perfect one). Delicate trails of sandalwood and amber enhance the warmth of the composition in the drydown, where the
