Fan di Fendi Pour Homme Assoluto Fendi for men of Fendi

Description

In January 2014 the collection Fan di Fendi receives a new fragrance for men named Fan di Fendi Pour Homme Assoluto which complements men’s collection which includes the following fragrances so far: Fan di Fendi Pour Homme from 2012 and Fan di Fendi Pour Homme Aqua from 2013. The ferocity of the composition of the new fragrance is emphasized by warm orange accents and orange glass of the bottle as a perfect contrast to the black “armor” in the form of the characteristic logo of the house – double F.

The new fragrance is announced as very intense, ferocious, impulsive, sophisticated, elite! “Everything about this edition revolves around intensity, dynamism and ultra-sophistication. The very scent represents the essence of a typical Fendi man. Its charming, magnetic personality is reinforced with elegant Italian style, providing the power to defy all limitations.”

Top notes of Fan di Fendi Pour Homme Assoluto open fiercely, with spices – blend of cardamom from Guatemala and strong pink pepper. The heart adds a union of sage from France, oud wood accords, vetiver and patchouli from Indonesia, while the base is warmed with opoponax resins accompanied by tonka absolute and citrus absolute.

Fan di Fendi Pour Homme Assoluto arrives in characteristic flacon form, just like previous editions of Fan di Fendi collection in the amount of 50 and 100ml Eau de Toilette. They can be purchased as 50ml EDT and 100ml EDT.

Dear Fragrantica, please let us, the masses, know who is the nose behind this jewel. Many thanks in advance, a french revolution admirer.

@gtabasso said it all. This is a sweet opoponax-tonka-patchouli beast. The oud is barely noticeable in the drydown. (If what you are looking for is a good and cheap oud masculine frag, go for Bogart OMS Oud ed.- not FdF Absolute)
Could nearly be sold as unisex.
I like it, but I suggest to try before buying. Not wearable at all times. Very interesting frag though, not something you’ll find at Sephora. It changes several times, and is probably too complex for beginner noses, thus, do not expect a lot of compliments from it.
Like previously said in other comments, it reminds me of Xmas time and sweet indian spices. Cinnamon seems to be in it, despite the fact it’s not.
    Fall/Winter evening, confident 30+

Recently bought this blindly and I like it. It reminds me of Bentley Intense without the strong amber note in the latter, which was headache inducing to me.
It is more like other Western oud perfumes, soft projection and mild-moderate longevity. These aspects might be appealing to some for office use while others prefer a stronger oud perfume.
The most prominent notes to me are oud, resins, leather, and although not described in the notes pyramid here, a cognac or whiskey note at the beginning, which I believe is due to the combination of citrus and other notes . This too reminds me of Bentley Intense, but it disappears quickly.
I like this one, although I prefer it to be on the stronger side to hold up to other oud perfumes in the market.
Update: this one lasts for at least 24 hrs on skin, amazing longevity. Still the sillage is soft and discrete. Very good for the office.

As a huge Fan di Fendi fan (have, wear and love the original and Leather Essence versions), as an addict for woody-orange scents in general, and a regular wearer of men’s colognes, I was ready to love this one for all time. That level of spice, richness and sophistication for minimal-designer prices, rather than niche excess? All the notes listed here? It’s like they just compiled my favourite things in a single list. SIGN ME UP I thought. And yes, it was so nearly transcendent. Really nice spice and absolutely delicious orange notes. However…
I’d say this one *can* be a unisex for women who are seriously into bold and woody frags, but on me individually, it just went one shade or two too dark and a little over punchy for comfort. Maybe an unusually pushy patchouli. Still most wearable, just not quite the Lubin-Idole-on-a-budget I’d dared to hope for. Tried several times to get on with it, but in the end it was just a tiny bit too harsh to work overall. For male wearers I’d recommend this any day of any week of any year, with no reservations. Just don’t blind buy it for your own use if female – see if it really works on your skin first.

    What a release from Fendi!
One of the good oud scents to come out from the current fad of oud perfumes.
A soft, spicy, charming scent of oud & opoponax. Calm & mysterious. The opoponax here smells like sandalwood but better. The pepper & cardamom give the two main notes a spicy, rich depth. The Cardamom here utilized like in YSL La Nuit de L’Homme, which is olfactorily heavenly.
The performance is average: moderate longevity with an arm-length sillage.
Overall, an unexpectedly well-done release from Fendi.
    Recommend for oud fans.

Opening like the drydown of kokorico and cardamom..10 minutes later its oud and vanila a bit smokey but more fizzy.
    Update
This had changed since the air got in the bottle .
A pepper note is strong on my skin wich i really love
Projection is good after 3 hours the trail it leaves its there softly for 4-6 hours .
There is a balsamic feel to it ..this is a butifull scent .
Its to me now like zino davidoff of 2018..they dont smell the same but to me they do the same i still use zino and this is like the morning version.
This is very strong and will cause nose fetigue

Decided to jump on some samples before the price possibly went up and after some youtube hype.
I get a ambery, woody, resinous fragrance with some sweetness and playfulness. I thought this was good and if I had never smelled niche amber fragrances I would likely have bought this.
This is what I though Dirty English was going to smell like and I think this should be more popular. It is in the family of DG The one and has a similar note break down.
Somehow with making these deep and dark notes more bright and playful they removed most of the projection and longevity. It is a 4 hour fragrance on me with fairly weak projection.
I still recommend this for 30 usd, and is the most easy to wear dark fragrance I have ever encountered.
If you are more of a veteran nose then I suggest serge lutens Ambre Sultan and other niche ambers.

Do you want to smell like a billionaire on a vacation on Mediterranean? Just buy this. George clooney of fragrance it is. As if george Clooney having a dinner in some seaside resort, by palm tree at sunset. this should be the standard every perfumer should follow.

To me this is very underrated scent!
The opening its a wonderful smoky agarwood with some sweet floral notes.
It dries down slightly softer the oud still is the most noticeable note (to me) and the sweet smell of opoponax wich smells like caramel/honey.
And the floral notes are still present on the background, but just about.
A very cozy autumn/winter fragrance, id ad the fresh spring days too, it can be ok to wear.
All in all a very good fragrance (especially for the price, under £25 for 50ml.

Fan di Fendi Assoluto is only for cooler months. One of those which smell different on clothes and on skin. In skin it’s a bit more balsamic than in clothes where it turns sweet. The dry down is powdery.
Not for a young dude, it will be great for formal events. A 100% test before you buy fragrance. For me it was not a like initially but it grew on me after 2-3 full wearings, now I love it. I personally like to wear at work related conference and events as it’s both inviting yet confident and manly.
    Thank you Fendi!

The oud really is not present here until the very base drydown about five hours later. It’s a resinous fragrance of pink pepper, cardamom, oppoponax, some vanilla/tonka, patch to deepen it, some sage and vetiver. It’s not smooth and creamy nor a beast. It’s got a sweetness and a slight spice bazaar scent. Unisex for sure if a woman is into the rich fragrances. This smells like the base for a cheap oud/rose fragrance. Thank goodness they didn’t add rose! In the base, it is way better and rounded/smooth than in the top. In the middle, the pink pepper really punched a sneeze pack and the tonka was very present. The base is woody, sweet, cardamom and pepper with an ambery swish. The final drydown is a lovely dry wood. This goes through so many stages!

the opening reminds me costume national homme . because of cardamom i think but then it seperates the way with cnh. cnh is much more sharper and harsher. when i wear chn , a couple of times in elevator people showed displeasure. gave me bad look . or maybe i felt like that way. this is more wearable and pleasant i think, smelss more expensive than its price. total masculine. i like it more .

I’m back here because I was a bit indifferent to this scent when I bought it over a year ago.
It seems to have now developed in the bottle into a far better, balsamic and resinous scent. I really like it now and will start wearing it.
Strange also that the person who commented most recently said the same thing about it developing in the bottle. Both of us are obviously onto something!

I need to update my original review.
I only liked this at first.
Now four months have passed and I have to upgrade my reaction.
The scent (in my bottle) has changed for the better. I get the sweet myrrh and woody notes in the middle. They are beautiful. The spices and incense combine for a leathery affect that is soft and manly, yet gentle and calming.
    This is really great.

Fan di Fendi Pour Homme Assoluto, complex name for a magnificent, classy, manly fragrance, and an excellent value for money.
It opens with a beautiful blast of Oud (Oud is always present), Red Pepper and Cardamom. It’s very loud and very pleasant, probably one of the best openings in an masculine Oriental cologne. It evelve with a bit of a timid patchouli and Vetiver.
The drydown it’s all about the omnipresent Oud flavored by sweet Myrrh and Tonka. Fantastic! No need of Rose or Saffron to tame the Oud as the Myrrh and Tonka do it with perfection. This is one of the most usable Oud fragrances I have ever experienced.
My rates for Fan di Fendi Assoluto::
    – Scent:……………………10.0 (my judgement)
    – Dry down……………….:.9.5 (really plesant)
    – Longevity:……………….8.0 ( 7+ hours, 3 initial sprays)
    – Sillage:……………………7.5 (4~5 feet at the peak, projects for 2~2.5 hours)
    – Versatility:……………….7.5 (avoid using it in hot weather; very good for many situations in normal and cold weather provided you hang out with oriental scents lovers; It’s far from being cloying like many oriental fragrances, due to its smothness)
    – Compliments……………8.5 (Yes it is compliment grabber due to its smoothness, mild sweetness and pleasant notes; It’s not an head turner but it’s very sexy)
    – Uniqueness:……………9.5 (I do own more that 30 oud fragrances and none is similar to this one)
    – Quality:……………………9.0 (smells expensive and classy; excelent sprayer; heavy glass)
    – Presentation:……………10.0 (gorgeous classy bottle, very nice box)
    – Price:………………………9.5 (€23 for 100 ml + VAT)
    Average: 8.90/10.00
Excelent fragrance; I do recomend it.
I consider it to be worthy of deserving a place in many niche perfumes offer.

Sometimes I wonder what people are smoking when they post their review. For example, one woman said “It’s a bit too masculine.” For crying out loud it’s a man’s fragrance marketed to men! Then she says, “It’s a unisex scent.” OMG! How can a fragrance too masculine also be unisex? I’m baffled by these reviews sometimes.
As for Fan di Pour Homme Assoluto, it’s a wonderful, classy, masculine fragrance, and excellent value. It’s unique enough to add in any collection, except of course if you already have the original. The performance is not beast mode, but you can expect at least 6 to 8 hours. Longer on clothes. Perfect for a cool autumn day in the Northeast USA when the leaves have mostly fallen from the trees, the air is crisper, and the colors of red, yellow, orange and greenish brown is all around you. Even the color/design of the bottle is the perfect decor for the season. Ah yes, nothing like the beginning of the festive season up here in New England, I look forward to it every year… and this fragrance makes it that much better. Buy it!

Starts out a little too sharp for my taste..too much pepper perhaps? It does mellow quite nicely as it dries down. Nicely blended and agree with others in that it smells more expensive than its price point. it is warm and rich with a pleasant, spicy sillage. Unfortunately, longevity not good for me.

A sweet synthetic oud. Not loud and sits close to the skin. Similar to Mugler Pure Wood. You could spray 5+ sprays with this. oh and it’s discontinued.

To me this is 50% creed royal oud, 20% guerlain ideal, 10% Armani Nuit, 10% CH privé, 10% 1 million, and even has the bvlgari black/ VIKTOR & ROLF ANTIDOTE vibe.. as complex and crazy as spicebomb..
EDIT :7/10 top notes should stick around longer.. becomes a musky skin scent and not the best .. discontinued

    I like this.
I laughed when I sprayed this the first time. Dill Pickle opening. I have never smelled that. That olfactory mirage ended after about 3 minutes, and the middle blooms with suede-y hints and pink pepper and oud.
This does smell like power and gravitas, but is not oppressive. The oud is extremely dry here and at odds with some of the other notes. It is a bit light amongst the heavy. There is lots of nuance and much to admire.
FdF Assoluto does smell very different on either skin or clothing. The clothing scent is softer and again, contributes to a nuanced and evolving scent experience.
I bought this from FragranceNet at $26 with their 35% coupon, and it is a great deal. So move fast.

Delicious woody spicy scent …for 1 hour at best . No projection and alas lack of longevity .

  24. :

    5 out of 5

Spice and Citrus, this reminds me of a more bitter version of Fan Di Fendi for women, which I also wear. This one is more bold, less sweet on my skin. Unfortunately as with most Fendi Frags on my skin the longevity and projection are mediocre at best. I like this fragrance but mainly as a go to for casual things as it’s nothing to special IMO.

  25. :

I love the scent when I first tested it, I got good longevity out of it, so I bought it wore it the next day 1hr and nothing and I’m seeing all these beast mode reviews, or is it my nose that has just gone blank to the fragrance? I just don’t know man it smells so thick and strong I get more out of varvatos scents than this. I just don’t know… returning it. keeper just going nose blind.

Mmmm….a big hit of oud, oppopanax and sweet tonka. Spiced up and given kick from the cardamom, a little vetiver and pink pepper. On the opening I thought it was a touch too masculine and I wobbled. It settled and after 15 minutes or so I liked it much more. The heat of my skin makes the tonka come into its own and be the starring note. It’s now much more of a spicey tonka scent and pretty much unisex. You know, it smells like Xmas! I nearly bought J Malone Tonka and Myrhh. I’m so glad I didn’t.
I’d also love to smell this on my oh. He’d have to fight me off lol
I get moderate sillage and good longevity.

    Damn!
Of all the oud-based fragrances that I own this takes the prize!
Since I sprayed this morning, I still get whafts of greatness even now, 18:30 in the evening!
Jeremy Fragrance is a man worth listening to when it comes to good recommendations (even though my wallet is starting to hurt…)
    Happy X-mas folks!

I was very reluctant and resistant to try this. But when the salesgirl sprayed on my hand.. boommm.. i was surprised how good it smells.
A competent performer n luxury smells. A ceo or president of a company always smell like this. Sometimes similar to one of tom ford’s private blend, cant remember which one. So niche n pleasing.
A relatively cheap but smells expensive. U cant go wrong with this. Suitable for office though more for night n winter. I fall in love already. Will buy this asap without hesitation but wonder it conquered me already with a first attempt. Good job fendi.

Friends, thank you for your reviews. Saw this on a bargain shelf and based off of my earlier test when the original came out years ago, bought this one blind.
Beautiful; initial thoughts are that someone muted my kokorico, which my wife would say is a good thing. While they don’t share the same notes, they have a similar cocoa patchoulli vibe, but the gentle oud in this makes it much more mature.
Lasts all day, and projects well for the first 3 hours before settling down. Wonderful, wonderful juice for someone who has had poor luck with oud. It’s getting a lot of rotation for office daytime wear in fall and will be sticking around til spring.

The first time I came across Fan Di Fendi Assoluto, I wasn’t quite sure about it. The juice felt a little old school, a little too (as one reviewer has said) abrasive. But this is one of those scents that the sillage is inexplicably different than the scent that’s on the skin. What fills the air is a sweetened leather, tinged with spice. It’s luxurious and formal. This is not a jeans and tshirt kind of fragrance, and there lies the charm. The price just sweetens the deal.

    Addressing the reviewer below me:
When did Mont Blanc release Legend Extreme lol….Burberry The Beat, Mont Blanc Legend INTENSE and Eau SAUvage smell nothing alike, at all….ever.
    Short review
Fan di Fendi Assoluto starts off with a mildly abrasive Oud and pepper which reminds me of modern middle eastern perfumery. Within 5 minutes the cardamom peaks its head in and by the 20 minute mark Assoluto is sweetened by the Tonka and myrrh/opoponax. From there on out (on me atleast) a very light vetiver and patchouli come in and the scent remains fairly linear for the rest of its life. Slightly sweet woods.
    I enjoy it

One of those fragrances that smells very differently if applied on skin vs cloth/hair.
I did not find anything unique, surprising, distinct, or superb about this fragrance. One of those scents with the same tones and development as few others. It smells nice, but does not deserve so much accolades. I used, i liked it, but i will not buy it again.

An exquisite perfume with a lovely potent silage. Spicy, soapy and woody. More powerful than Fan di Fendi normal. Getting gorgeous wafts of this now from my neck….this is so good! Reminds me a bit of DSquared2 Potion. Beautifully blended. When this runs out…..instant replace.
    Fabulous

A beautiful fragrance and a step up from the original Fendi. I first purchased a sample, in which I detect more oud and an accompanying slightly oily savoury note. However, since purchasing a full bottle I get a peppery wood base with a lot of opoponax, but little oud. The opoponax (similar to myrrh) means it occasionally reminds me of a woody Prada Amber Intense, without the soap or musk.
I get a soft projection for a solid 8 hours. Sadly discontinued now, but a classy scent to be had for an absolute steal!

Definitely opens in a similar vein to Bvlgari Man in Black, but not quite as sweet. Very peppery throughout, but I get no oud. (I have many more oud scents than my Fragrantica wardrobe suggests because many companies aren’t even listed on Fragrantica).
I will be trying again, as I sometimes find that after the sprayer has been cleared of the first few sprays, I get a better experience on the second wearing of a scent.
So, I will try this again and amend this review if I find any changes.

This is awesome!! I can’t stand Fahrenheit Absolute, it smells like human dirty sweat… Fan Assoluto has the same opening but not so harsh… It’s more boozy/sweety/fruity that balance the oud. If you kinda like Fahrenheit Absolute but you think is too dirty try this one!!

  42. :

Unique explosion of awesome scent! This is one of the best perfumes ever. Ideal for winter cold autumn days and spring. The strong smell great mix of natural odors is unique! Extremely classy and stylish perfume for all men’s. The fragrance smell of freshly baked almond me crazy with pleasure. This is different from original scent Fan di Fendi. It has a slightly sweet shade of Fan di Fendi original, but that makes it even better. Sense start with pink pepper, patchouli and citruses, then the magical smell goes into incredible mix of oak and caradamom and finish with opoponax, tonka bean and vetiver. It is interesting to note that many perfumes have this mix of flavors, but only Fendi leave a lasting trace of cunning style and chic.
The flavor is very durable and can be used 5-6 hours. Overall, this perfume is absolutely unique and incredible! This is absolute favorite in perfumes, which must be present in your collection during the cold days.

Fan di Fendi pour homme Assoluto
This is a very surprising frag for me, as it wasn’t what I anticipated, but blew me away with the quality and lovely scent. The initial spray is very spicy with sharp pink pepper and cardamom leading the way.
The mid notes are apparent quickly, with the opponax and oud taking center stage. Neither note is overpowering, and in fact perfectly intertwines with the cardamom top to make a rich and beautiful, but not overly heavy, scent. The addition of citrus (orange?) and tonka absolute helps to brighten and smooth the final product, imo. This phase lasts for a while, and is a definite wrist-sniffer when nobody’s looking.
I thought this would be very heavy, but I feel its light for the notes it carries, enough to be worn year round. I must say, however, that I consider myself a light sprayer, rarely if ever going over 3 sprays, and 1-2 for reapply 6+ hours later.
I love it and bought a large bottle after sampling. It’s definitely in my top 10, take that for what its worth.

This stuff rocks! Not outright oudy and just enough spice to make you feel nice and warm during the colder temps.
Good life, good projection and will not be confused for a unisex scent.
Oud note and no rose in sight, not a dirty oud and not in your face.
Not niche but not to be taken lightly, it is a well adjusted, well thought out smeller.

As close to the long lost Gucci Pour Homme as could be hoped after years of EU busybodies protecting us from microscopic amounts of lemon zest, cinnamon, rosewater and other cupcake ingredients. And soon to be almost as collectible for purposes of comparison now the market’s taste level has been reduced to the spiritually poisonous, soul destroying sameness it so eminently deserves.

    Fellow Fragranticans
I just secured a bottle of Fendi Fan di Fendi PH Assoluto – it’s lovely – all the subtle leather of the original with a bit o’ somethin’ somethin’ extra – stronger cardamom and some of that ubiquitous oud – no matter, still smells great. It might even overtake the original for me. Not sure it will have them swooning over me but one of my colleagues expressed an “ooh that’s great”.
It is pretty distinct but projects quite subtly actually – is it the kiss of death to say it makes a great office scent? I’d wear this over so many smell-alike Cool Water/1 Million clones – just like I’ll wear my purple check shirt in favour the inevitable 50 Shades of Blue office attire – why are we so afraid of even a little colour, flavour, atonal discordance?
And I have just noticed that LVMH will be discontinuing Fendi – what a great pity – some really lovely scents at reasonable prices and from a name that should be revived. Next to no marketing here in Oz – apart from the odd bit of print media showing Mark Ronson spruiking it – no bad thing – I reckon he was the perfick face for it – bit edgy, effortlessly cool and from his interviews pretty funny and self-effacing. Looks like I’m gonna have to stock up.
    cheers n beers

I was given the opportunity to have a whiff of this juice on my arm, and I litteraly yelled “yuk, gross!” when I put it on. I had no chance to wash it off until hours later so when I finally got rid of the balsamic and fecal smell on my arm it was a relief.
So what do I get out of this scent?
A true mess of notes this fragrance is, And I got some sweet notes, but oud??? NOOOOOO! I get the opoponax… yuk and the tonkabean.. hmm.. ok. The notes here on Fragrantica looks really appealing, but the reality is a true horror scene.

When an EDT cologne is pitched as one with balsamic accords, expect dramatic interplay of top notes, middle and basenotes. Having bought Fendi Pour Homme (curiously) in January, 2015, and I have not ceased to revel in its projection and longevity, I’m also curious about how this would pan out (especially with oud, patchouli and vetiver notes imbedded at the heart)!

There are some things to enjoy about this fragrance but overall I just feel it smells too dry.

It’s a good scent, I like it but it’s not love to me. It’s pretty charismatic and modern, suitable for the colder months! not bad

Fan di Fendi Assoluto is a very warm fragrance. I smell the oud in the beginning and dries down to a mix of spices and leather. I don’t see leather listed but I get a leather note. Perfect for the fall and winter months. I would not wear it in the hot sun of summer. It’s cool here today in South Florida and I wore it to the office. It lasts a very long time on me.

Even synthetic is a good perfume.
Follow this line oriental comercial, but is well balanced in a way.
I feel a touch fruity (orange) spicy since opening and along the drying appear nuances of oud, but discreet, and feel leather, suede which really enhances and eases this synthetic touch.
Later appears a beautiful touch of tonka, sweet as and joins with something a little spicy balsamic, well done without doubts.

Fendi does it for me… again. From the sublime opening of intense spices of guatemalan cardamom and chonqing pepper straight into the pulsating heart of cambodian oud and divine javanese (pachai) patchouli and transcending itself into a deep maqam of tonka and citrus oils, this scent symbolizes complex sophistication all the way. Spray it all over your body and lie down with your beloved under the mediterranean sky by the sea… aaaaahhhhh bliss… MashaaAllah… TabaarakAllahu Ahsanul Khaaliqeen.

The main reason behind me buying this is the beautiful golden/brownish colour of this juice and beautiful bottle.
The juice is also good. It is very similar to bvlgari man in black , containing same notes and giving more or less the same fragrance.
This is in line with other similar fragrances like dior fahrenheit absolute.
I give it umm like 7 /10 .Longevity is good like 7-9 hours but it is a close to skin scent.
my first fendi fragrance. I will review it soon again.

The reviews are interesting to read. I loved this, but got gas and leather vibe from the accord. I did not buy it because I have others similar, but will eventually pick it up later or at least test again.

At first it can be a bit harsh, medicinal like a sniff into a fresh pack of cigarettes. Then mellows to a spicy smoky sweet, all too familiar Tonka been, with an expensive powdery cosmetic smell.
Rather nice, it grows on you.
Reminds me of “Cuba Red” but lasts WAY longer.
Sillage is Modest, Longevity is very long, still strong and sweet Tonka, with that medicinal tobacco vibe after a long day at work.

Some spice, a touch of sweetness and oud. If this is the 1st oud scent you have smelled then it maybe overwhelming. It’s a bit dirty also due to patch and vetiver. It’s a good maybe not great scent. Silage is above average and longevity is great! It has nothing in common with anything by YSL, as Dolcethedon has mentioned. This is the 1st Fendi I have ever smelled and I might be tempted to buy a bottle. A great designer release that has been overlooked tremendously.

I was given a spray on the arm with this fragrance in a Champs Élysées perfume house in Paris two days ago. The Sales Assistant was quite generous and gave me a sample to take with me.
I liked the smell at the time and like it even more now. I have not been acquainted with the other fragrances that this has been compared to, except Jean Paul Gaultier’s Kokorica, which is debatable.
I really like Assoluto, I will be buying this juice soon.

@dolcethadon…..reviews on this fragrance compare it heavily to M7 or at least M7 Oud Absolute, both of which in my opinion are better fragrances. This one just doesnt work for me. I wish I had a better answer for you. I honestly have a real issue with the entire Fan di Fendi line but this one is the worst. I’m not saying this was made to rival M7 or anything, its just my take.

I like this one, but I must say it is rather peculiar. It doesn’t smell like a fragrance.
Right off the bat, you could smell a smoky and lightly sweetened oud not with some kind of pepper. The dry down is where this “fragrance” starts to become strange. It smells like a charcoal barbeque and burnt wood. It’s as if you blew into the coal and the ashes rise up into the air. This is what this fragrance smells like to me.
I would not really recommend this, unless you enjoy smelling like a dusty pile of coal and burnt wood. I will give it points for being unique though.
I’ll stick to the original Fan di Fendi, thank you very much.

@colhiggs – Im sorry but who said this fragrance was suppose to smell like M7? Just because it has oud in it doesn’t mean it was intended to smell anything like M7.. Oud is just one ingredient which is in hundreds of perfumes.. Constantly comparing all fragrances which contain oud to M7 makes no sense as they are all completely different fragrances that just happen to share one note in common.. This fragrance was meant to smell like an intense version of the original Fan Di Fendi, not M7 and it did that very well.. One of the best flankers I have seen in a while..
