My mom had a bottle of this is the 90s and I would steal sprays of it. It does have a celery scent to it… very green, like marigolds and suburban lawns. Waiting in the dark for my boyfriend to come pick me up, wearing exclamation blush. He would kiss me and I would get a waft of pastel florals. I would sneak back into the house later only to be reprimanded by my mother and by that midnight hour all that was left on my skin was a trace of celery and cedar powder. I wish I could have a little bottle again just for nostalgia sake.

i miss this! back when I was 15, roaming the then unknown wilderness of perfumes..oh the nostalgia! I also had almost empty bottles of me mum’s fave perfumes from the 90s such as paco rabanne pour elle, Red, carolina herrera, perry ellis 360, Paloma picasso, lulu, etc…

A true avant garde perfume, if you can’t get enough of celery. 🙂

This smells fresh out of the shower clean to me. VERY floral and does smell a bit like celery. It is harmless and has a powdery floral drydown. Something you would put on after leaving the gym to go on about your day. It’s simple and pretty.

One of the first perfumes I received as a young girl. It holds a special place in my memory, so my opinion of it is probably biased and overly sentimental. It does have a noticeable celery scent but is mitigated by a powdery scent if I remember correctly.

Smells very similar to Gucci Envy on my skin – both fragrances smell like peppery lily of the valley and celery – needless to say I do not like either fragrance but some people really love Envy so this might be your cup of tea if you do enjoy it and a cheap thrill for those who do like it. Fred hayman’s 273 red is also very similar but with a red berry fruit note amongst the celery on my skin.

Wow, I didn’t think I’d remember this one, but…yeah. It was a blind buy because I liked the original (and couldn’t find the tester at the store). I’m guessing I had a bad bottle, but…it was very sharp and harsh within the first hour, and scrubbed this off, so I never got to the drydown. It gave me headaches. I gave this to a friend who adored it; I just made sure I wasn’t around her when she wore it; it bothered me too much.

Well, I finally have a fragrance that I can honestly say that I hate! I sprayed this on this morning, not expecting anything. What I got was awful, strong, sharp celery! Overwhelming nasty smelling celery! I have never had any fragrance do this before – turn into a completely different but immediately identifiable scent. I have no clue what combination of ingredients turned into this terrible stench as soon as it hit my skin.

Blush softens the harshness of the original, but maintains that nice zing.
