There’s a strange smell with this. It’s partly metallic and partly horsey, like a stable full of riding tack. Something about it reminds me of Dans Tes Bras by Frederic Malle, which I’m not a fan of.
The only listed note I really noticed was the violet. About an hour in, it’s there and it’s nice, sweet and powdery.
But the rest was all horses and metal. Maybe my skin chemistry just doesn’t work with this one.
I was expecting a very powerful perfume with strong sillage and amazing longevity. These perfumes are advertised as such, it seems to be their unique selling point. But I found this fairly weak and it only lasted about 3 hours on my skin.
