Elixir Blanc behaves like a ghost on my skin. Its there, gone, back again. I had the same thing going on with Sensai Silk. Almost skinclose. Fresh, elegant and sensuel. If you dont like loud scents – this is a must-try.

I don’t know why but all stendhal perfumes sound intresting for me,I love the notes and also the bottle but decided to order a sample of it first since I have bugget limitations and can’t blindbuy as freely as I used to
opening is so well blended that I could’nt guess the notes, but now looking at them I can detect cherry blossom,a hint of bergamot and pink pepper..I’m not a fan of opening,it kind of sourish pencelshavings,a tad spicy but this phase fades after two or three minutes and now I’m in a soft powdered heaven,I can detect my beloved heliotrope easily and also some iris too, base notes appear just to round powdery florals, there is musky vanilla and woods
this is a dry, sophisticated scent, vanilla doesn’t make it sweet,it’s musk isn’t a very clean musk so I don’t feel like sniffing a white scent,it’s not a clean detergent like fragrance, there is something sexy and something refined and serious trying to balance out each other, drydown is creamy and elegant
I like it,I really do,but I think I need more time to decide about it,I thing stendhal elixirs more appeal to me though I don’t like their bottles.it’s longlasting but with a soft to moderate sillage..I think it’s more suitable for +30 years and is a fall fragrance
    ❤️❤️❤️❤️

    Powdered perfection, first and foremost.
Let me tell you why you might love this underexposed beauty even if powder is not your achilles heel, as it is mine. Stendhal Elixir Blanc is, quite simply, very likable. This is the friend who is always in a good mood, always making eye contact and talking to strangers. It’s easy, but please, don’t let that put you off either. What it lacks in challenge, there really isn’t much development, it makes up for tenfold in charm!
The iris note here is unusually lighthearted. I frequently find iris too serious, too willing to settle in stately to a composition.
    Not so in Elixir Blanc.
Here iris, led by heliotrope’s hand, is more casual and approachable.
Here iris, encouraged by the cherry blossom note, is sweetened and smiling.
Here, iris smooth by vanilla is more peaceful, even while maintaining its eviable powder puff.
Powdered perfection, to the very end.

When I smell it, I can imagine elegance in countryside. Yes, it’s mostly sweet, creamy fragrance, but the woody and a little smoky notes amaze me!
It smells like exquisite scented candles and autumn in countryside.
A beautiful masterpiece, I think it’s not getting the attention it deserves.
    Also, very elegant packaging.

True to its name, Stendhal Elixir Blanc smells like a white elixir! It reminds me in fact of two different “white” perfumes, Lolita Lempicka L’Eau en Blanc and Kenzo Flower. Probably more of the former than the latter, because Elixir Blanc smells pretty natural (unlike Flower) and there’s really no “clean diaper” aura here at all.
So, yes: sweet and powdery, with heliotrope and vanilla and some vaguely white florality, but nothing sharp or overwhelming. I do believe that the heliotrope is dominant. The sweetness and quality strike me as right at the level of most of the Lolita Lempicka flankers (no licorice here, though).
I like Elixir Blanc and am very surprised that it was launched only last year (in 2012). I’d have guessed that this was a perfume from days of yore, back when Guerlain put out L’Instant, Kenzo put out Flower, and Etro put out Heliotrope. A pleasant surprise. Thanks for the taste, pitbull friend!

Just got this, and while I love all the notes in this, I am still unsure how I feel about it. About an hour in it did start to make a nice turn to my favor. I will be back to edit. I am thinking this will work better in the fall/winter.
11/4: First real dip in the temps here in the northeast, and I spritzed this on again, and for some reason, I am not getting heliotrope, not getting anything at all pleasing to me. It’s a woman’s fragrance for sure, but I wish it was as lovely as Sherapop describes it on herself. It smells nothing like that on me. I hate blind buys, but sometimes you do hit the jackpot. Unfortunately for me, this one is not for me. I can’t even detect one note in this, and also it doesn’t smell like LL to me at all. My body repels this 🙁

I fall in love with him… so i bought to my mom…so from time to time i put it. he is not cheaper one – but quality, special, classic.
I tried the black one in the mall – i recieved a compliment, someone told me i have such a good smell…i wasn’t sure if it is of men or women – ’cause the botle is black and the smell like men’s perfumes…
the white bottle just one store sell it…tried to ask a website that provide perfumes, told me for me can iport (too expensive – more than the store) told me i have such an expensive taste!
