I am wondering if the sample I was sent was bogus? The notes are NOTHING like what I wore. The fragrance was amazing. It went on a sweeter soapy floral aldehyde like the best of the vintages but just rose in power and was a bit more interesting/different. As it dried down I got a huge dose of musk/animalic that was almost civety or castoreum. I did not get distinct rose or oud in the opening, just sweet, soapy floral that turned muskier. This did not last long though on me.
