This perfume Is a acquired nose! Its beautiful, I believe that it is very mature!.
Spray it and it is overwhelming, the orange and wood and pepper are very much strong and present.
Definitely a unusual but beautiful scent for a acquired perfumist! Everytime I spray this I appreciate it more, just not overly feminine in my opinion.

I do notice a difference between this limited edition and the original/current Eau de Merveilles.
To my nose the Au Bal des Etoiles is woodier and missing some of the orange notes.
I love the bottle and would recommend to a collector, but if I had to choose between the two, I would pick the gorgeous Eau de Merveilles.

exactly like eau des merveilles, i note any difference.they smell the same perfumeand i buy it thinking that both have the same notes. i m just surprised that they notice in the page that they don’t have the same!
