this is how its done. the perfect citrusy yet manly fragrance. if youre in your 30’s already, you dont need to look any further. is it modern? no. is it classy and original? sure. (the beautiful bottle is also worth mentioning.)

Lemon, lemon verbena, basil and lime blast up front that quickly fades a little, but remains for an hour or two. It becomes a skin scent of lemon, basil and something earthy that I think is oakmoss and musk. There are other notes present that I can’t identify yet, but I can’t believe the quality for this price. It comes across as more natural than synthetic.
If you like lemon, this is a safe blind buy all day long. I’ve reapplied it so much in the first two days that I’ve put a sizable dent in the juice already, so I’m already planning to get a backup bottle.
This is so enjoyable, I wouldn’t mind bringing a 10ml travel spray with me.

Love. Pure citrus blast. Walking through a lemon/lime grove. The oakmoss/vetiver base takes the sharpness out of the citrus perfectly. A bargain gem. Wear Dior Homme Cologne when you need to impress others and Rochas Eau de Rochas when you want to please yourself.

EDRPH smeels dated and old school to me, and not in a good way. I agree the lemon is great but then there is the oakmoss and vetiver, turning this into something quite grandpa-resembling. Launched in 1993, I would have guessed 1973 by smelling it.

Super cheap and natural smelling freshie that just makes you feel good when you spray it which makes it a safe blind buy.
Although it only lasts about two hours on my skin, I still love it for its terrific, happy citrusy opening. My recommendation is to get a couple of bottles before this classic gem is discontinued.

I LIKE THE LEMON TOp but extremely poor performance overall- nice bottle and heavy but juice inside should be ashamed.

Only my second review and I feel compelled to stand up in praise of Eau de Rochas.
Beautiful transparent citrus: a layer appropriate for even the hottest summers, its quality absolutely surpasses its pricetag. A perfect vacation scent, and one of the better performers for a citrus.
Only slightly synthetic while the alcohol burns off. Superbly blended overall, a drydown your nose needs to chase to its route, fleeting yet satisfying. Something distinctly 90s here and in no bad way. Highly recommend.

I tried this out in a store today (finally!) and wow! Eau de Rochas homme is so lemon-zesty! In some ways I wish I’d bought this instead of my (rather generic & weak performing) recent summer acquisition Mercedes-Benz Cologne-they’re not similar (apart from the lemon vibe) but both are good for the hot weather.
I think this fragrance has more to it than just a summer citrus scent though, it’s quite refined and rich with many different notes that can be picked up on at certain times. There’s a lot of citrus & florals but I also smell the verbena, vetiver and cedar in the musky/woody dry-down in which the citrus is ever-present.
Very nice fragrance 25 years on, apparently it’s aged particularly well!

It’s RL Romance Silver with a lemon summer opening. Nice. The more it dries down, the more you’ll be reminded of the Silver connection. I was fortunate enough to score a vintage 3.4 oz bottle, so I’ll be using sparingly.
Word to the wise, if you want to get in on this one, go vintage and buy now. Ebay is flooded with reformulations and the older version is getting hard to find in anything larger than a 1.7 ounce. Look for the white at the top of the box.

The best lemon citrus scent that I own. I’m wearing it now where the weather here in New York has been 90 degrees, Eau de Rochas has been used a lot this summer, a bright, uplifting fragrance that I’ll be wearing not only this summer, but for the early fall as well. Thanks to UK Frag Guy from Youtube for reviewing this gem of a scent.

This is a nice fragrance to wear after a shave and a shower on a spring day. Overall, it’s zesty and lemon fresh smelling.
Description in 2 words: Lemon and whiskey
    Comparing it to other fragrances:
This fragrance doesn’t have as much personality as the lemon heavy Allure Homme Sport Cologne (clear bottle). Allure Homme Sport cologne has personality because of the sharp notes, while this fragrance doesn’t have any sharp notes.
Eau De Rochas Pour Homme has a much more likable scent on it’s opening right out of the shower. I’d also compare this to Bucheron by Bucheron which is also lemon heavy. Bucheron Homme has the best smelling opening lemon scent out there, although the dry down on Bucheron is nauseating to me and reminds me of old lady perfume. (just my opinion)
This is the least offensive of the three, and the best overall for someone else sniffing you.
For me, I do get a strong smell of lemons as if you just cut open a real lemon. The scent isn’t synthetic at all. When I take a longer sniff, I get a bit of musk which I don’t really enjoy. This scent smells great on you, and I don’t really like the long close up sniff of this because of the hint of musk towards the end of my sniff. The drydown is where this edt shines. It’s about 80% lemon and 20% vetiver. In other words, it smells like a dirty lemon. This may sound horrible, but I really enjoy it. It’s basically an enjoyable light scent which is non-offensive, but doesn’t really have a personality that stands out. Overall, it’s a great sub $25 fragrance that you will enjoy, and most people that sniff you will enjoy. I feel that it suits a man 30 years or older best. Great for a spring day. Check me out on utube under the same name because I do plan on giving my complete thoughts on this fragrance. My video review is here.

A good refreshing cologne after the shower in a hot summer day.
Nice citrus scent in the opening.
On my skin terible performance, one hour max.

    Fresh, summer citrus done right.
An initial blast of lemon-heavy citrus hits you with a sunny burst. A few minutes later, as the citrus recedes a bit in intensity, I get fresh green as verbena and basil make an appearance. Settles into a floral heart before the oakmoss and vetiver pop through in the blend.
I also get a note of something that reminds me bit of ginger, but I suspect it’s the coriander seed mixing with those bright citrus notes. I get no amber, and very little, if any, of the darker florals (rose, carnation, violet), mostly freesia and lily. Kudos to Nicolas Mamounas for adding jasmine to this with such subtlety, rather than the usual cloying, headache-inducing sweetness.
Everything about this says light, airy, some may even say watery, though it doesn’t have much in the way of traditional aquatic notes, it does have a bit of an oceanic, beach breeze vibe as well.
One of the things that I love most about this (besides the mystifyingly cheap price) is its surprising similarity to Tom Ford’s Grey Vetiver. I haven’t seen anyone else mention that, so maybe it’s just me. This is a little heavier on the citrus, but both have very prominent lemon and vetiver notes. Grey Vetiver is the superior performer, but at this price, don’t hesitate to spritz a midday refresher if you need to.
Longevity: 7/10 (4-5 hours, not great, not terrible)
    Sillage: 7/10 (Soft to moderate)
Versatility: 9/10 (Can be sporty, casual, or even business casual/semi formal, dress it up or dress it down)
    Value: 10/10 ($20-$25 for 100 mL)
Scent: 10/10 (One of the best in my collection, and I’m a high end niche snob!)
    Overall: 10/10
Bottom line: Bright, summery, refined, elegant, well-blended, and a must-have for every collection. And at this price (mine was 100 mL/3.4 oz for around $20), there’s no reason not to add it to your collection. I’m very pleased that after 25 years, this is still available!

I never hear ANYONE in the fragrance community talk about this one, which is a real shame; this is a real sleeper. I’m going to try to not repeat what others have said. I’ll just say that this is a great bang for your buck. This doesn’t really resemble ADP Bergamotto Di Calabria to me. However, if you enjoy fragrances along the lines of Chanel Pour Monsieur, Dior Eau Sauvage, Armani Eau Pour Homme, etc. this is right up there with those. This is pretty light in terms of projection so don’t be scared to douse yourself down with 10+ sprays.

Every time I wear Eau de Rochas, I am disappointed…that I didn’t discover it sooner. I only recently purchased a bottle and I’ve been wearing it a lot. I live in the desert and this is perfect hot weather cologne.
At first spray, this is very sweet, but that fades fast. What you are basically left with is a very simple, delicate citrus scent. I do get the woods, florals, and basil, but they are really soft and just give a boost to all the citrus.
This isn’t strong cologne and you have to spray pretty heavy for it to last, but it is downright beautiful. This is an instant mood elevator…happiness in a bottle for me. Love this stuff.

  16. :

    4 out of 5

Interesting – it’s a pine-y citrus, or a citrus with a chypre base as Rochas decribes it. I get more chypre than citrus, but it’s still a nice scent to wear. it’s similar to Capucci pour Homme actually, minus the cinnamon add the pine, but it’s a dirty pine like smelling pine in the dirt rather than a green straight pine. The good thing is, it doesn’t have cinammon whih I generally dont like, but still it is not an eau du cologne – it is certainly a chypre scent.
Actually it’s almost like Rochas Moustache, but Moustache is mush more herbal, though I can see the similarity. Nice general type scent for daily wear and even office use. Nothing spectacular, but similar to others in the genre, with a strong chypre base.

  17. :

    4 out of 5

There are great dirty citrus scents (Eau Sauvage, Colonia) and there are great citrus-woodsy scents (Chanel PM, Colonia Intensa), citrus tobaccos (Tom Ford, Vera Wang), citrus-whatevers – but for straight-up fresh citrus scents this is the best I’ve ever smelled.
Even the effusive praise from the reviews below didn’t prepare me for just how splendid this is. It’s not tart citrus like you just doused yourself in fresh-squeezed, and it’s not gourmand citrus like Ultrazest, it’s perfectly situated right in the middle – it’s zesty enough to stay authentically citric all the way through the drydown, with just enough sweetness from the floral components to stay safely out of the sour range.
If you want the perfect citrus delivery system for work, play, rest or romping, look no farther – absolutely spectacular that they can provide this scent at this price.
It does fade pretty fast, but I get 4-5 hours on my skin before it’s hard to pick up, which is about all I expect from citrus-heavy summer scents no matter who they’re from or how much they cost.

How magical when you were given a sample of this 25 years ago and you smell it again now. It’s all coming back to me now. It’s like opening an old box with toys from your childhood in the attic.
This fragrance has « summer » written in bold big letters on its forehead. It starts with a mixture of citrus, verbena and orange, so much that’s impossible not to link it to that season. Think about having breakfast in the sun when you’re on holidays. The good thing is that the structure and the woodsy-flowery component that follow the main notes avoid it somehow to become just another eau de cologne. This is absolutely joyful and timeless and can be found for a very reasonable price.

This is a fresh citrus scent with some real depth and character behind it. There are two distinct phases to this fragrance, both of which are excellent. The opening is a delightful combination of citrus, slightly sweet, energizing and optimistic. This lasts for about 20-30 minutes, during which time the next phase slowly emerges and then takes over. This second phase is my favorite and lasts for hours: the waxy, lemony character of aldehydes combined with soft florals and vetiver/woods. This dry down phase is still fresh with lingering citrus and aldehydes yet at the same time warm and inviting. Very nice combination for warm weather, and doesn’t smell dated like a 25 year old fragrance often does. Eau de Rochas PH is one of the nicest long-lasting citrus summer scents I’ve encountered and I’m glad its in my collection.

I bought 5 strong lemon fragrances to pick myself a winner for this summer and Eau de Rochas is the winner by a long shot, beating out Versace Man Eau Fraiche, D&G Light Blue, Azzaro PH L’Eau, and Azzaro Chrome Sport.
Eau de Rochas could definitely be a unisex scent and is so pleasant. It opens with a STRONG lemon lime blast that smells more like a candy than it does a fragrance. It tames down into the perfect amount of lemon lime. With the drydown comes refreshing woody scents with some lemon remaining throughout.
Looking at Eau de Rochas, you might see a release date of 1993 and a note of oakmoss and just write it off as a dated scent but the oakmoss is minimal and this fragrance appears to have been way before it’s time.
I’m truly surprised this is not a more popular fragrance. It will be my new go-to in the summertime.

One of the best citric perfumes around, Eau de Rochas pour Homme maybe came out at a time when such classically, impeccably constructed colognesque fragrances were pretty much out of date – and a good couple of years before this revitalising Eau’s became a trend again. What’s striking is the excellent integration of a very powerful lemon, bergamot, verbena, aldehydic combo that sticks around for long with it’s supporting structure – at least the old version features a good dose of some oakmoss. Despite its ‘ease’ and its rather complex directness, this makes Eau de Rochas pour Homme a truly timeless fragrance, something that I’ve always seen in line with a more experimental take on citrus, a la Soda, or Almost Transparent Blue. Recommended.

Fantastic opening! My favorite citrus top and middle.
Smells like lemon drop hard candy, but beautiful. Long lasting and will be my number 2 scent for summer 2018, just behind Ferrari Bright Neroli.

    So I bought this.
Nice fresh Spring/Summer fragrance I will enjoy more after the Winter.
I am wearing it now side by side with Acqua Di Parma Bergamotto di Calabria.
Not a fair comparison since it’s Designer against Niche.
The opening is quite different. Rochas is louder, more citrusy. Maybe a little bit outdated citrus like 4711. But lesser, thus better.
Bergamotto di Calabria has the typical unique AdP soapy vibe from the Colonia line, that I love so much.
After 10 minutes and the distance between both is growing.
On paper even more than on skin. I guess my skin absorves some of the nuances, or maybe just my nose is not good enough. (That is a fact)
I have spraid 2 on paper also. I will update. because I hope Rochas will last longer even if the scent is not as beautiful as AdP.
    6 hours later on paper:
Rochas: te Vetiver is now prominent on top of citrus notes. It’s nice.
AdP: Is very soft and gentle. Unisex frag. No doubt. Almost becoming a sleeping beauty. This one makes my smile. Makes me happy. Only a few fragrances can do that to me.
    Quite different these 2.
    Next days on paper:
Still get Bergamot on Rochas after 4 days.
AdP was stronger on paper the following day but is fading now.
On skin I will update later in Spring.

Very tempting. Very, very tempting indeed. Specially since a few of you say it’s close to Acqua di Parma Bergamotto Di Calabria. And apparently it should last longer. And that for about a quarter of the price.
The issue with the later is the performance. Specially on a man.
But no other fragrance brand can captivate my endless longing for Spring in this cold, often wet climate here in the Netherlands, than Acqua Di Parma. Both the Colonia line as well as the often weaker, Blu Mediteraneo line.
It is now freezing here and our country is welcoming our Olympians with a F-16 squad on their arrival.
I just spraid Bergamotto Di Calabria on my left arm and Zegna’s Mediterranean Neroli on the right, just to bring back memories.
I am in doubt. I have many citrus based fragrances that are labelled among the best according to reviewers. Some of them are good, some are just disappointing.
Should I spend a little money on Rochas eau pour homme, a blind buy, or spend more on Acqua di Parma Cedro di Taormina?

  25. :

Today I decided to make a test to Eau de Rochas.
Opening: Strong zesty Lemon-Bergamot-Lime-Verbena loveable explosion. Best citrusy opening I have ever experienced.
DryDown: Still a citrusy ambiance but with a strong Vetiver and Moss domination.
    Magnific blending.
Average performance; Above average performance for this type of fragrance.
Let us see what the maths tell us about this EDT:
    Scent opening: 9.5 (my judgement)
Scent dry down: 7.5 (my judgement)
Longevity: 7.5 (but average for the existing notes)
    Sillage: 6.5 (same as longevity)
Uniqueness: 8.0 (Many similar fragrances although this one is superior to most of them)
Wearability: 7.0 (Hot weather – Day scent)
Versatility: 7.5 (everywhere but with mild to hot weather)
    Quality: 8.5 (my judgement)
Presentation: 8.5 (nice bottle, not tacky; good sprayer)
    Price: 8.0 (100 ml for € 20.00 + VAT)
Overall rating for this fragrance: 7.85/10.00
Highly recomendable for citrus scents lovers (not my case)
    I do recommend it.

    The time gows by….
… and Eau de Rochas Homme is still the most well made citrusy fragrance on the market!
    I love it.
People around me love it. Old or new… age doesn’t matter, they all love it!

I blind bought 10ml as I thought might like this one better than the female version as I usualy go for more unisex but its too sporty masculine for me, great lemony scent though.
Singular lemon and lime opening. As this devlops I get cool orange blossom water and tomato leaf/basil element.
A dry citrus with a water musk that remings me of Eau de Champagne by Sisley. Deeper oakmoss, petigrain, bergamot and vetivert starts to push through but always underneath the the sporty masculine citrus. Dont really get floras cedar or amber at all.
Will be looking to try the femail version and will compare them. ⛤⛤⛤⛤ (on a guy)

Great fragrance, but doesn’t last! Blind buy based on good reviews. Scent didn’t disappoint. Clean and classy. Great for both office and casual Sunday afternoons. Unfortunately, can’t get a whiff after 2 hours…..

  29. :

    5 out of 5

Smells completely citrusy in the beginning but then after 30 minutes or so the oakmoss starts becoming more and more prominent, too much for my taste. I was looking for something that was refreshing and inoffensive so I don’t think this will do, it’s too “manly” for that. It’s not cloying or anything, just not what I was looking for.
Edit: CK One is what I was looking for.

  30. :

Sublime! I call it the most intelligently made lemon scent out there. It has everything you need: cool freshness, well blended spices & flowers, a classy vibe, fantastic performance and a n affordable price. A steady compliment getter also!

After almost 25 years, this still is the best summer scent I ever had. It’s a mellow citrus and lime combination, not harsh but unmistakably fresh and classy. Projection is okay, after a few hours it’s more of a skin scent, but that is okay. This is for all ages. Bottle is beautiful and elegant too. I have at least one bottle every summer as this is the best way to be fresh and elegant to the touch. A definitely 10 for me!!! Try it!

Great summer citrus “Lemon” fragrance. It is all about lemon and little bit Jasmine. The great thing is that it smells exactly like natural Lemons.
    Great longevity and projection.

I have this bad habit of blind buying citrus EDC’s, but with Eau de Rochas Pour Homme I have absolutely no regrets.
At it’s essence, EDR is a traditional EDC. The open is a very simple, fresh citrus with a mix of lime, bergamot and lemon verbena. The beauty is in the heart of the fragrance, however, which is a lovely blend of citrus and florals, with an undercurrent of herbs. The vetiver and oakmoss then enter the mix, which sustain into the drydown.
I get pretty decent longevity on my skin (for an EDC), around 4 hours with moderate sillage.
In short, this is a lovely interpretation of a classic EDC.

  34. :

A citrus that lasts, holy cow. Super citrusy at first, might honestly be too much for some people, but it’s just till the dry down so who cares. Then the green and woody notes come through, mainly vetiver and cedar, along with the citrus it’s like my holy trinity of smells. I hope this stuff never goes away because I’m hooked.

I discovered this gem last year, and I have to say that it’s my current favorite citrus scent. When I first opened the bottle, it seemed very lemony and “fizzy” as some have said. As time went on, the scent seemed to develop in the bottle and the woodiness came through. I’m looking forward to warmer weather and dousing myself in this beauty!

Just bought this one online today and waiting for delivery.
When I was young, I always liked a lot how this one smelled, but I ended up buying it only for gifting someone and never for myself, I ignore why (well, when young I never spent money on perfumes). Now that it came this moment of my life when I’m collecting, it’s when I purchased a 200 ml bottle.
I read that it has been reformulated, so I’m excited to smell this new formulation.
I will edit my review once I get the bottle, but according to my memories the one I smelled many years ago, I was in love with it, it smelled sooo nice, fresh, rich, versatile, refined… But I ignore if it might be a bit “dated” nowadays. For me it is a must have.
EDIT: I got it few weeks back and, although I still like the scent a lot, but I find it somehow a bit different than the original, possibly a little bit “watered down” and softer. I might be wrong because it’s many years ago since I don’t smell the original one. Anyways, I like it very much and I don’t see it dated at all. It’s a safe buy.

Just the perfect spring / summer fragrance. This one is smooth, subtle and refreshing. This isn’t your generic Sauvage cologne, Dior homme cologne or Chanel Sport. This is a complex citrus that is well balanced and blended. In fact, it smells more like a woody chypre than citrus. There is no bergamot and white musk overdose here. Just a really sophisticated, modern, masculine take on a classic eau de cologne. I have owned the vintage version and that’s an oakmoss bomb. I prefer the current, cleaner and crisp version.

Reading some of the reviews here, I had expected Eau de Rochas Homme to be an underrated citrus masterpiece. Sadly, it is nothing of the sort.
Eau de Rochas opens with a citrus accord that is nice, if nothing spectacular. Where it all starts to fall apart is the underlying accord of strong oak moss, carnation and musk, which burdens the overall composition with a dank, spicy washroom vibe, reminiscent of a cheap, late-1980s aftershave. Comparisons with Eau Sauvage are particularly inapt – unless you happened to come across a batch that had been adulterated with YSL Jazz. And I don’t mean that in a good way. If this was launched using today’s naming conventions, it would be as a flanker to an existing scent – perhaps as Drakkar Noir Eau Fraiche, Tsar L’Eau, or Jazz Sport.
I’d give this a pass, unless you want to cultivate that ’90s high school bachelor vibe – with the emphasis firmly on bachelor, and not of the eligible variety.

Bought it blindly, because of the positive reviews here. It was a mistake. My last blind buy.
To me, this fragrance smells like some kind of cleaning product. Not fresh or refreshing, but sharp, suffocating scent.

What a perfect summer scent! I wore it every day in our three week holiday at the Mediterranean, it is just a perfect match.
Very fresh, citrusy at the opening, mouth watering even, with a good and reasonably long drydown.
Longevity is above average amongst the typical summer scents in my collection. I usually chose Rochas for daytime and Dali le roy soleil for evening.Puts a smile on your face 24 h.

This is some really good juice. A real natural lemon-lime accord in the beginning that dries down to an elegant slightly floral citric wood. I was a little unsure of this one since it was from 1993, but I was pleasantly surprised when I got this in. By the way, it was a blind buy for me and a very happy one at that.
    9/10

I really like this fragrance. It is citrus fragrance without having nerilo note which many of citrus has. It just lemon lime mostly with little bit woody note on the dry down.
It is very easy to wear also not too heavy. but the only problem is it performance is below average.
I love it that I bought 5 bottles with 3 bottles that I have already finished it.

I read many great reviews of this and when I found it for a great price (on-line) I went for it.
Either my nose is broken or this was reformulated but I don’t get the fresh citrus that people are talking about. It’s not great. It’s a meh! at best.
To me this smells like a run of the mill aquatic. It has that coriander seed/vetiver combo that I hate so much. I know, it’s right there in the description, but with all the mention of citrus I was hoping it wouldn’t be too bad. Unfortunately it’s all I get. It’s almost as bad as Insensé Ultramarine
For me this is a 2/10.
    Not a keeper.

  45. :

This is possibly the best blind buy I have ever made. I love to wear this on a hot sunny day.
One drawback that I have noticed is how much is actually used from the bottle for one set of sprays. It seems to diminish much faster than all of my other fragrances. Maybe I just got a dud sprayer. It’s not a major thing, however.
For a summer citrus and vetiver combination, this is recommended.

  46. :

Incredible. Starts off with fresh lime which blends with other citruses to form something smooth and sweet, yet dry enough to remain airy. Continues to smoothen out and become a fresh woody scent. Never generic though. One of the best for hot climates – reminds me of beaches, jungles, cool drinks in the warm breeze. Performance varies – sometimes lasts all day, sometimes needs reapplication after an hour. In either case, still amazing. It’s cheap, so buy the biggest bottle you can.

    Love it!
clean, fresh, ( for a summer day); but, ‘different!’
only problem…, it really doesn’t last long on the body, but, certainly worth a ‘re- spray!’

you cant find nothing better in the summer than eau de rochas. Fresh, energizing kick of lime and herbs, with great woodsy drydown. Much better than all aquatic-ozonic frags.

Another superb fragrance from 1993 (the year that brought us giants like Insensé or Elements). A sophisticated, fresh citrus/lime fragrance with flowery nuances and light woody drydwown. On me the performance is very good, especially a few sprays under the shirt and it breaths with your body heat for the enitre day!!!

    Lemonade in a bottle…
So I have a couple of old samples of this fragrance that I just found again since I want to try it out in order to write this review. As these came with a dapper I poured The perfume into a small spray that I had.
So what do I get out of this fragrance?
wow this is Really citrusy and is really going on the lime fruit. Also you get all the citrus fruits but they are very subtle compared to the lime. Here on the site that is a number of ingredients listed but for me I only recognize the lime the lemon and the Cedar. Actually this is a bomb of lime and lemon which after one and a half hour turns into lemony cedar scent that stays.
Longevity is poor and so is the silage. I don’t know if this is general but this is what I experience on my body.
if you can get this fragrance cheap I would recommend that you buy it if you’d like a strong lemon-lime scent for the summer. but Persimmontree it is not something I want to go out to buy or wear.
overall I do not think that this is a bad scent but it definitely lacks some enthusiasm and needs quite a lot of work on the basenotes since they in my opening in nonexistent.
Overall: 3/10 sorry folks i’ll pass on this

Initially, all I got was a Lemon Pledge opening and a decent citrus dry down. I chalked it up as a ‘Meh’ blind buy and banished it to the bottom shelf of my frag case. Big mistake. Gave it another go a few weeks later and couldn’t believe it was the same cologne I’d scoffed at earlier.
Now, I don’t get the Pledge vibe at all; it smells like a lemon/lime blast of cool, fresh air. I get about four hours of moderate projection and then it turns into a lemon/cedar skin scent. I don’t get why anyone would consider Eau de Rochas Homme generic or boring, unless they made the same mistake I made initially and did not spend enough time with it.
I give Eau de Rochas five out of five stars. Highly recommended, especially if you pay under 35 bucks for the 100 ml bottle.

This is a very fresh, clean lemon smell to me. It almost gets to so strong, like lemon pledge. But I glad to say for me at least stops just at the right time to become a pretty good fresh lemon cologne that’s probably best for daytime during spring or summer months.

Well this quickly became one of my favourites. Beautiful lime in the opening followed by more citrus and a floral component. The florals aren’t feminine at all. What I love is that it doesn’t deteriorate after wearing it for a few hours, but it maintains that fresh feel until it fades away.
Longevity is great (8+ hours), and sillage is perfect. You’re surrounded by a nice aura. 4 sprays is not too much with this one, two on the chest and two on the neck. You could spray your shirt as well if you want the top notes to last longer. It didn’t stain.
I was discussing a case with a woman at work a few days ago when I was wearing this, and I noticed she was leaning towards me. She just said it as it was: “Sorry if I was leaning towards you, but you smell so good.” Something along that line.
Damn good fragrance, and I wish I found out about it sooner.

A great citrus fragrance with a slight attitude. The subtle use of the aromatic resin Myrrh gives It an edgy and warm glow. This is citrus all the way, but the bright citrus is more refined and fine-tuned towards the character of a confident and polished gentleman. Vintage is better, but current version is still worthy of a purchase.

A great citrus scent. At the beginning is a little bit offensive but after that you get a very refreshing result. the only problem is that on my skin last less than 5 hours. But surely it deserves a place near to Armani Eau Pour Homme and Eau Sauvage even if is not as famous as these fragrances.
