A deeply interesting and sophisticated work. Like all Paul Emilien creations I have tried, it is a feast for the mind as well as the nose. I cannot figure out the vague smokiness that emerges after the first half hour. The notes stand out in stunning relief, then merge into a refined smoky and complex leather texture that makes you smile.

The second Paul Emilien scent I have tried today, while it is certainly beautiful it does not have the sillage or projection that makes a perfume worth wearing. It’s not cheap and not worth the price for a skin scent.
