I purchased Cool Metal on impulse with a coupon. As with all the other Axe/Lynx scents, it is a decent fragrance as long as it’s not abused by over spraying, using in place of bathing, or re-applying many times throughout the day!
It has a fairly linear blend of a very strong “new stainless steel” accord, a slightly weaker “fresh green” scent (which is a bit like Irish Spring soap), and a very light, brisk herbal note.
Longevity is impressive, sillage less so but good. Cool Metal would, if applied correctly, make a nice “work-friendly” fragrance for men or women. It is perfect for casual spring daytime wear.
I received a few compliments, along the lines of “what a nice, light, fresh perfume!”. It is a little TOO light and fresh for me to use frequently, but is good for a change now and then.
