I thought I had posted a review on this, but I’ll try again.
This is clean, smooth, with a touch of warming sweetness… also this might not make sense but I felt there was a deep blue note. I feel it projects well, but not obnoxiously. On my skin it lasts quite a while. It will fade if I go dancing, so heat may burn it off. It lasts about 4 hours if I’m active and much longer if not.
For me this was an instant wow! I received compliments from ladies that were sitting near to me or dancing with me. Other scents of this type seem to go wrong on my skin after an hour or two, so for me the consistency of this is a big plus.
Interestingly there are dislikes, but no negative reviews…

On my skin Cobalt Amber is a comfort scent, that smells of chamomile tea with the sweetness of anise or even liquorice. It stays quite close on the skin. It’s very unisex. A must try for all who does not like heavy amber scents. This one is beautiful!

I get a mix of the cardamom, juniper berry and pepper in the opening.
Though this mix is quite subtle and not over powering at all, then the sweetness of the tonka shows, with a smooth labdanum / benzoin like amber accord.
Smooth, nothing dirty, just a soft clean amber sweetened by tonka.
Very cozy and cuddly, colder weather scent, if anything could lean feminine due to the sweetness of the tonka. Though I am a man, and I bought a bottle for myself.
So I think it’s unisex, very nice!

Sweet Amber.
It has spicy (cardamom) yet sweet (tonka) amber. The cacao powder is there but isn’t shown clearly. The pepper, and the juniper are kept into minimal.
“Cobalt Amber” is sweet yet spicy amber, kind of confusing since it’s not really amber based and the amber isn’t that dominant. It’s fairly ok as the cacao powder (after 5 minutes in) goes kind of chocolate, like a milk chocolate type of cacao.
