Description

Loud, fruity and sweet composition of Coach Poppy Freesia Blossom opens with bergamot, French raspberry macarons cookies, fresh strawberry, currant leaves and buds, and juicy apricots. From the beginning, gourmet-fruit sweetness dominates, while sweetening star jasmine flowers, white orchid, Tahitian tiare and freesia. The base is soft and cuddly thanks a blend of vanilla and musk, and additionally sweetened with brown sugar. Coach Poppy Freesia Blossom was launched in 2013.

    Beautifully put together.

This DOES smell quite a bit like Flowerbomb. Maybe with some extra raspberry and ‘macaron’, though. No complaints here! Nice scent for spring/summer. Inoffensive. I see it layering well with other scents in my collection.
Only complaint is sillage. Personal preference.
    UPDATE:
I’ve been trying forever to find a perfume my boyfriend likes. Though he only rated this one 8/10, that’s the highest out of any in my collection!! Thought that’d be worth noting.

With the reviewer that said these Poppy perfumes are more for colder days I have to agree. Also that it smells like a strawberry shortcake doll. This isn’t my favorite but it is a decent perfume. It certainly won’t make it into my regular perfume repertoire but I may wear it on occasion, if I don’t end up giving it away. This is a very girly, pink ruffles, pie-bakery scent. I do love sweet scents but more along the lines of fruity florals, like Coach Poppy Blossom. This one is more of a sweet gourmand scent, so if you prefer that then this will be the Coach Poppy frag for you. I’m going to have to give this one another try or two to really determine if it’s worth keeping as I have many sweet scents and feel like surely it’ll grow on me. On the other hand, I have many sweet scents and this one isn’t very distinctive or unique. It’s a safe scent, sillage is quite low but the longevity is about average. Give it a try if you like sweet bakery gourmands but don’t expect too much out of it as the other notes seem very overwhelmed by the strawberry macaron. I got a 3.4 oz flacon on Amazon for around $40 so I’d say if you like these types of frags then it’s definitely worth your money. After all, it’s still a pretty high quality perfume that doesn’t turn synthetic or cloying and while you can get similar scents for cheaper, sweet scents like this so often do turn plasticky and headache-inducing if not just plain underwhelming.

I just received this from a current swap and I instantly loved it because it is similar to flowerbomb, but much more like hanae by Hanae mori. I own all 3. I will never tire or get bored with flowerbomb or anything that resembles it. My flowerbomb is nearly gone and I was thinking of repurchasing but I won’t need to for a while since I now have two other frags that are very similar.

Bought this as a blind buy online. Nice and sweet – very pleased with my purchase 🙂
It is a very sweet berry sugary fragrance. Actually, it does smell very similar to a pink strawberry macaron – like a sugary, baked berry treat. To me the sugary macaron with strawberry and raspberry are the most prominent notes, with some sweet vanilla lingering beneath. I don’t get any kind of flowers at all. I LOVE freesia in perfumes, so I was so excited when this was called ‘Freesia Blossom’. I find the name to be a little misleading, but it still is a wonderful little sugary gem. Strangely, it also reminds me of scented Barbie dolls and Strawberry Shortcake dolls from the 90’s..
The bottle is to die for – SO cute and girly and feminine with the precious and whimsical gold lid and the cute bulbar shape and the flower around the neck.
All together at cute little sugar bomb that will suit many women, especially younger girls/women as well. A rather safe blind buy as well 🙂

This reminds me of a scented strawberry shortcake doll. I get a ton of berries and sugar with a plastic-y vibe. With a name like freesia blossom I was hoping for a little more freesia. my mom blind bought this for me because I told her I was starting to like freesia in perfume. When I looked up the notes here I was almost afraid to actually wear it lol I’m not a huge berry fan in perfume. This isn’t terrible but it does remind me of a generic celeb offering. I guess I’m disappointed cause I was expecting something different.

As quickly as this one entered my wardrobe it exited. It’s a very safe perfume, it is nothing special. It’s longevity is not the best, and the projection sits very close to the skin. You get a lot of the top notes in this. I would say it’s fresh, light and somewhat sweet. It’s a scent that could be worn anytime and anywhere. I have put mine back in the box, and it is being gifted to my mother. I have Coach Wild Poppy Flower. I like that one much better. I’d like to add, this scent would be very office friendly. Xo

Like the first reviewer has stated, this definitely smells like Flowerbomb. I own Pink Sugar Sparks, Hanae Mori Hanae and the aforementioned one and this one smells like a sweet candy floral version of it. The opening starts out just like Flowerbomb, sweet, flowery and fresh. I cant smell the fruits, just the floral notes in the opening. I’m really glad I have this in my collection.

Very nice and unexpected. I have never had a perfume that smelled like this one. The Macaroon note is nice, the flower smell like a garden. The smell like real flowers. Sometimes flowers in perfumes dont smell as authentic as flowers you smell outside. and the Vanilla and sugar is light but not too sickly sweet. over all a very pleasant perfume.
Actually this does resemble Circus Fantasy by Britney Spears

    This is ok. 5/10 overall.
Well, I’ve tried Coach Poppy Freesia Blossom all this week and I’m not liking it much. It’s not winning me over. I am having a difficult time distinguishing the notes. I’m smelling sweet fruit and candied florals. Overall, it’s not entertaining me enough to merit keeping the bottle.
On my skin, the sugared fruit over powers everything. My body chemistry turns this into very loud syrup. But I have a friend with really acidic skin and it smelled decent on her the first time she tried it, so maybe she will want it.

The more I wear this one the more I love it. It’s been done before and probably many others that smell like it but j love the coach poppy line. To me it’s definatly more for colder days. It’s a creamy, cozy scent. Usually lasts all day. Sillage is good. Not too powerful.

Smelled this today while on a shopping trip. While I do like it, its not something I could see myself wearing and didn’t impress me much. The scent was a bit too light for my taste, and didn’t really demand much attention. Macaroons, strawberries, and raspberries can all be easily identified, but I couldn’t pick out many other notes. Certainly a summer scent. Longevity is good; sprayed it on a jacket I bought and not 8 hrs later I can still pick it out. Sillage is very soft. Overall, not a winner for me, but would be great for those who appreciate lighter scents!

    Berry boring.

I’m not a big fan of the Coach Poppy line, but this one is quite nice. It’s sweet, creamy, yet light. The only downfall is that it doesn’t last. After 1-2 hours it’s completely gone. It would be a nice gift but not something I would love to buy anytime soon. Overall, good job Coach! I recommend this to gourmand/fruity lovers. The sugar stands out here and the berries.

The opening induces nausea, very synthetic. It does dry down to something resembling Flowerbomb, but that something is less well-blended, effervescent and warm. I also get a marshmallow accord that would be nice enough if I my stomach wasn’t churning. If only the opening weren’t such a turn off for me, but I suspect the macaroon note, whatever that is, is the culprit.

I detect a hint of strawberry and vanilla, along with other sugary notes. Nothing floral at all, as other reviewers have stated.
Freesia Blossom bears a faint resemblance to Betsy Johnson upon first spraying, however, as it settles onto my skin, it develops into a beautiful sweet scent which I love, and lasts for hours, unlike the Betsy Johnson which didn’t work for me at all.
Overall, a very nice fragrance for summer, if you are into sweet scents. I think this would work nicely for autumn days as well. I get compliments every time I wear it.

This fragrance opens very sweet with vanilla and berries. Then Poppy Freesia turns to a robust apricot surrounded by berries and perhaps a light floral (Tiare flower? Not jasmine or freesia though). The apricot heart remains for several hours until at last only vanilla and slight musk remain. I have the EDP of this scent and it does not last more than 6 hours I would say. In all I think this is a very likable scent. The apricot keeps me sniffing more. I wish it lasted the whole day but I am very happy with my (semi blind) buy of this scent.

I was not sure whether to purchase this one or the green bottle at first, and now I regret choosing this one. I admit that it is a very warm and sweet fragrance, kind of like a candy apple mixed with brown sugar cubes, but I found that it seemed to smell more like a decaying apple than a sugary one most of the time. It smelled very acidic and more like a sugar scrub in a bottle you’d find at the drugstore. Although it definitely has its sweet and soft moments, it usually opens up to a very light citrus scent after an hour or so. Would not say this is a favorite, but it’s on my shelf and gets sprayed occasionally if the mood fits.

Coach Poppy Freesia Blossom is very sweet. This does not really smell like freesia or blossoms of any kind, so it is a bit misnamed. It smells like sugar and cookies and berries. The top notes are very sugary, almost syrupy, and a bit tart, like the fruit filling you’d find in a filled cookie. After this fades, there is a slight suggestion of some floral notes, but barely noticeable. It retains its sweetness throughout wear. I never get to the vanilla or musky base, because it fades away completely after that. Sweet and light, and worth checking out if you are into sweet scents.

Of the three Blossoms by Coach, this is by far the sweetest and longest lasting.

I adore this flanker! This is sweet, yet sophisticated as well. I think it will do well among the younger crowd, although any age can appreciate this delicate sweet scent from Coach!

I LOVE this stuff!! I finally got a proper sample from Sephora and have been wearing it all day, it is IMO bottleworthy! It is a weird perfume on me, it starts out with ripe strawberries and raspberries, strongly fruity but with the jasmine making an appearance a few seconds after the berries, I actually smell a bit of peach too. Then the weird part, after 1/2 hour or so the perfume completely disappears, I seriously can not smell a thing on my wrist, this happened both times I tried out CPBF so it is not a fluke on me it just happens. After another 1/2 hour the magic happens, vanilla, jasmine and a bit of fruit come back Full Force! The sillage becomes pretty strong and it is very long lasting, once the dry down shows up, I sprayed at noon today and it is now almost 6:00 and I still smell it very well.it is not a very original scent, it tends to remind me of Ed Hardy Villain but much much longer lasting. It also reminds me a bit of Viva La Juicy, but not as strong. All in all a very nice scent, I’ll be saving up for a bottle (or asking for one for my Birthday).
Sillage: 3/5 projects but not a huge powerhouse
Longevity: 4/5 at least 6 hours on me
Overall: a nice everyday scent with good projection and loads of vanilla.

This is a new favorite of mine and it took a lot for me to purchase it because I am not into the whole Coach scene. Unlike the other Coach fragrances, which I find too intense and headache-inducing, this is a gentle, fruity fragrance that is soft on the nose and intoxicating! It has a slightly musky dry down. I love it!
It smells like Betsey Johnson’s fragrance when first sprayed, but they smell a bit different at dry down (I sprayed one wrist with Betsey and one with this fragrance and compared). Both are very nice!

As if it wasn’t already annoying enough that they’ve named an entire fragrance line after a flower that is not present in ANY of them or even remotely related to their scents, it’s even more annoying to see a specifically-named flanker that has absolutely NO olfactive remnants of the scent of a freesia.
These fragrances are horrible, and they all end up sitting on the skin as a grainy, sugary pixie-stick sort of smell…
But I will admit, this is the best [or shall I say least terrible!] of all of them, mostly because it’s so similar to Britney’s Fantasy.
It must be the sugar, strawberry, and raspberry together.
I detect absolutely NO floral notes in this at all…no freesias. No poppies. No blossoms.
    Just sugared, candied fruit.

I dont smell any flowerbomb at all….this is very close to the britney s. fantasy crowd in the drydown…if close to flowerbomb..i would have bought this…this was a i smelled this before scent. smells good but a pass to the teen crowd.

This smelled slot like Flowerbomb to me. I didn’t like it. It’s very strong.
