I fell in love with this perfume on a Caribbean cruise for my 30th birthday. My sister and I each bought a bottle. Really fresh and sweet – I get a strong cucumber-ish/aquatic note on my skin following the sweet opening. Summertime staple for sure. It works well for the office and has moderate sillage and longevity. Lasts 4 to 5 hours on my skin.

Nabbed this in 3.4 on eBay for $15. I was pretty excited, let’s face it, the bottle is adorable! But the juice? I spritzed myself with it a few times and got an instant blast of sugared florals. Not bad, certainly not offensive, but it’s also hardly there! After 30 minutes I couldn’t even detect it on my wrist. I’ve got no issue with linear, sweet smells. Now, I don’t need every bottle of perfume I own to be a complex masterpiece. But had I paid full retail for this frag I think I would have been super pissed! It’s just watery, not impressive. Doesn’t smell synthetic, but it wears worse than edt.
    Scent: 7/10
    Sillage: 6/10
    Longevity: 4/10

It is a wee bit cloying when first sprayed. It is a very intense floral scent at first. Once it dries down it becomes this soft sweet floral full of sugar. It is a great summer scent and wears well in the heat. Not sure I would wear it any other time of the year other than late spring or summer. It is lovely and the price isn’t unreasonable. I have had this bottle for well over 6 years and I have to say that it has held up well. The color has darkened just a slight bit but the scent is still as wonderful as the first time I sprayed it.

First spray is Sharp-Tarty-fruity-floral smell not overly sweet fruity but tarty like berries/citrus.
I can describe the smell as refreshing but tarty sweet. The notes my nose can pick up are the Fresia & citrus. These work really well together. I’m not a fan of smelling like an orange/tangerine, but I like this blend. An hour in the sharpness turns a little softer tarty & I can get a slight hint of the vanilla sandalwood in the background. I don’t smell the marshmallow or cucumber at all on my skin.
I like this scent. Not sure if I love it, but i really like it & makes me feel spring/summery daytime tarty-fresh.

I was hesitant to blindbuy coach poppy.I love marshmallow and sweet scents but even thinking of a perfume smelling like cucumber scares me.but I couldn’t miss the opportunity of trying it.coach perfumes aren’t sold here and it was the first time I saw it around and a 3.4oz bottle was priced 40$
First about it’s bottle.it doesn’t look like fragrantica photo.it looks like the small photos on right side.it’s ribbon is bright red and it’s juice is almost colorless.it’s as if there’s only two drops of lavender color in 100 mil water.all in all I like it’s bottle
Now about it’s scent.I was very afraid to smell something very aquatic, ozonic full of cucumber and water lily.I can’t tolerate aquatic and ozonic scents even for a minute.I hoped not to be able to detect cucumber in it but actually I can.cucumber is one of prominent notes to my nose here but it’s not bad!to be honest I liked and enjoyed it!
Sweetness doesn’t let cucumber to lead coach poppy to an aquatic path.it acts like a fresh, fruity note here not an aquatic or ozonic one.when I first spray this I can smell sweetness and juicy fruity notes of cucumber and mandarin orange.these fruity notes makes this scent sour and sweet.so sweetness isn’t too much or cloying.not even comparable to fantasy’s intense sweetness but I agree that dry down has something in common with fantasy’s drydown, well it’s more like intimate fantasy’s dry down.soft powdery marshmallowy sweetness and soft flowers scent.truely lovely
All in all it reminds me how a wedding hall smells in my country.on each table they serve cookies and fruits.orange, cucumber and apple have always the 1biggest place in each fruit bowl on each table.such a hall is full of women wearing perfumes, some sweet vanilla scents and some florals.a wedding hall in Iran smells like a mix of their feminine perfumes, their makeup smell, face powders and hairsprays, and the scent of oranges and cucumbers, cookies and cakes which they’re eating.
The first time that I sprayed coach poppy this was the first thing that came to my mind.it was as if I’m hearing the music and I see women laughing and dancing and cutting oranges and cucumbers.do I want to smell like a wedding hall?why not!it’s such a happy and fun scent, also very feminine and lively
For me coach poppy is not another generic and boring fruityfloral.it’s well done, well blended and although it reminds me some other perfumes,it still has it’s own character.it has a very good balance which keeps it from turning to something overly sweet and I like how it develops from juicy, sour and sweet fruits to a soft, marshmallow pillow.if you’re looking for a supersweet gourmand it’s not the one.it’s not also a sport aquatic cucumbery scent.it’s a pretty feminine perfume which is a nice choice for day wear specially during spring and summer
For me it’s ageless,a young teenage girl can wear it as well as her mother
I can’t comment on longevity and sillage yet,I will edit to add that

Sweet! Fruity! Floral! Fresh! Oh my, I love the cucumber and sweet notes in this scent so much! I wish I hadn’t waited all of these years before testing it. I think this is the prettiest fragrance for spring/summer that I own. There is something about the sweet factor, although not gourmand to me, it does make Coach Poppy memorable. How can something be fresh and sweet at the same time? Well, Coach Poppy is the answer. The longevity with this one isn’t great on me, but my skin eats perfumes within an hour or 2 anyway, so longevity is probably better for others. I don’t mind respraying though because I’m in love with the scent. It truly is captivating to my nose and I really wish it hadn’t been discontinued. I will buy another bottle online just for back up…I like it that much. Oh, and it’s work appropriate too, which is important to me.

This is a cheerful, happy fragrance for a young, energetic, feminine woman. I get a lot of compliments on it.
I can smell the orange in the beginning, but it’s nice and refreshing. Sweet, juicy, summery fragrance.
Years later I find it a bit boring. It’s a safe, inoffensive fragrance that I keep on hand for work or other places I have to be around lots of people.

This fragrance is delicate and beautiful. The freesia here is in a starring role and yet remains soft and translucent. She is wholly sheer, light, and airy – just shy of brittle.
The overall composition has an opalescent feel, an other-worldly, angelic presence that whispers like the tiny silver bells on charm bracelets. Light-hearted, she retains an elegant composure.
Fragrance 8/10 familiar but unique and exquisitely executed.
Sillage: Soft to moderate depending on application.
Longevity: will require an update after several more hours of wear.
Overall, Coach Poppy deserves a place in any fragrance wardrobe. I gave mine to a friend who fell in love with it when she was visiting.♥

There is a reason why this is such a popular scent. My first experience with Poppy was Poppy Flower a few years ago and I have sampled this several times and finally decided to add it to my collection. It’s not sharp. It’s not daring. It’s not seductive. Definitely not dangerous. But it is a very warm, feminine fragrance soft enough to wear every day. Like everyone has mentioned, it is work-appropriate, a safe blind-buy and just a good sweet-smelling fragrance. I just wear it when I want to feel pretty.

I’ve wanted to blind buy this/test this for SEVEN years but it was never ever available around me. But, a trip to a random chemist today proved me wrong, it was there for test and sale… but for a whopping $90 I thought I’d better give this a good test run.
First thoughts… damn it’s salty. Like.. not really sea salt but salty, like table salt almost? So weird, but it faded after 30 minutes (cucumber mixed with something rather?). It then morphed into indistinguishable sweetness. Unsure of what I was getting, but it was just generic (not bad or cheap) sweet notes. The end was soft, warm and somewhat sweet. Assuming creme brulee/marshmallow/vanilla? I was excited to see southern gardenia, as I love nothing more than the smell of a big fragrant gardenia in the heat, but I didn’t detect any of it.
I thought this would be one I’d love or hate, but I seem to be still quite ehhh about it. Overall, it is nice. Very fresh and sweet, easy to throw on to run errands and had a good 5-6 hours of longevity. Unsure of silage, after spraying it I went to KFC and no one seemed to notice hahaha.
Overall, I enjoyed it. But I’m gonna give it another few test runs before purchasing to make my mind up. I would suggest you do the same.

    * These are my personal experiences/thoughts with this fragrance. Yours/others may differ. *
    Initial – cucumber + orange + freesia + cedar
    Drydown – marshmallow + vanilla + cedar + gardenia + jasmine
    Duration – 5-7 hours
Projection – 1st two hours moderate, soft afterwards
Experiences – Cucumber note is very strange in the opening; a little less weird when it’s warmer. The drydown is a comforting and laid back marshmallow/vanilla concoction that is very pleasing.
Quick Thoughts – sweet, floral, comforting, casual

Finally reviewing this perfume 5 years after I bought it, I have the limited edition gold bottle which I bought at Macy’s for around $100 for the 100ml in fall 2012. I will say I prefer the original Poppy over Poppy flower, and in 2012 my first year of perfume this was one of the first 50 perfumes I bought, also was given a lot of samples in 2012 of Poppy, and Poppy Flower. My Poppy batch code is A72 was made in July 2012 ( checkcosmetics.net ), and is still good, and hasn’t turned at all. Poppy is sweet without being ” too sweet ” that’s why I like this perfume. If your nose isn’t trained it’s really hard to tell what notes you are smelling. What I smell is a marshmallow candy like cucumber mix the most, I also smell the cedar come through as well before dry down, I smell a slight freesia, vanilla and mandarin as well, this perfume was done really well in my opinion. I never really wore this perfume over the years, because as I have got older ( I was 21 when I bought this perfume, 26 now ) sweet perfumes don’t really appeal to me anymore, I like fragrances with more depth. Also I think Angel Dream is closer to Coach Poppy than the original Angel by Victoria’s Secret. The best time to wear Poppy is in the daytime in Spring, and Summer. Overall I give Poppy a 7/10.

I really wanted to like this perfume. Smells good to me but not on me. It’s very sweet – which I don’t mind. I can smell the marshmallow. Something about it makes my sinuses hurt and my face feel hot. Not sure if I’m allergic to it or what. I have mine to my sister.

  15. :

At first I don’t smell any cucumber, I smell mostly sweet notes, but after a couple of minutes I do get it, a weak note of cucumber that tries to balance the sweetness of this fragrance. I don’t think this is unique or special, this fragrance is very innocent and won’t offend anybody. It could be a scent that you want to wear when you don’t want to stand out but want to smell good.

  16. :

This was gifted to me years ago. I don’t really like it or dislike it. It’s kind of just a “there” scent on me. Only time I really reach for this is if I’ve just showers and am going to lounge around the house. It lacks the sexy sweet spicy undertone I usually enjoy in a fragrance.

Coach Poppy is my absolute favorite perfume, ever. I am a sucker for sweet girly perfumes but as of late have grown weary of overpowering scents that I used to love. Pink sugar, hanae mori butterfly and the like just don’t cut it for me anymore, but this one still captivates me. It is a perfect blend of fresh and sweet, never overpowering or offensive to anyone around me. I don’t care if others can smell it on me or not, and just as well it does seem to last only moderately on my skin no matter how many times I spray it, I wear it for myself, because I think it is beautiful. The smell to me is like cucumber melon with some marshmallow cream in the mix. I would love to smell this any time of the year, however most people would probably enjoy this in the spring and summer months. Although it is a little hard to find, and still pricy at that, I love it, and will always have a bottle as long as it is being sold. The memories and feelings this scent evokes for me are priceless!

Coach Poppy is a nice feminine perfume that has decent lasting power, but isn’t too strong. On my skin, the initial scents I could pick out – and this is a bit bizarre to me – freesia on left wrist, and orange/cedar on right wrist. Not sure why they came across differently on different wrists. After about an hour, Coach Poppy settled into a gardenia/vanilla/marshmallow scent on my skin; I could occasionally pic up on the cedar (again, on right wrist only), but not consistently. Lasted about 8-9 hours for me.

watery.. a touch sweet.. a bit salty.. I don’t know. I am a bit beige about this, the sweet-savoury result makes it more a dislike than a like.

Short review: I get mostly marshmallow, cedarwood and a lot of vanilla based sweetness. There is something that almost reminds me of raspberry though it isn’t one of the notes. I quite like it…very girly and easy to wear.I admit I’m confused as to why the perfume in the main photo is a different color as is the bow on the neck.

I received this for Christmas a couple of years ago and have hardly touched the bottle, but decided to try it this morning. The opening is sharply aquatic and strong. All I really smell in the beginning is a blast of aquatic notes. It turns into something sweet and almost headachey very quickly, though I do not get marshmallow from this at all, nor do I get anything powdery. All that being said, I don’t hate it. It’s fresh, youthful, bright, and good for a spring day. At the same time, it reminds me of so many fragrances before it. It’s generic and a little boring. The drydown vaguely reminds me of Sunflowers. On me, this super sweet aquatic doesn’t work very well, so I might just stick it on eBay and give it a good home. Seems like a lot of people love it. The ad for Poppy says that “Poppy is a girl,” and I agree with that. It conjures up images of preppy high school girls. I think I would have enjoyed this when I was younger, but I’m in my mid-thirties now, and I can’t wear it.

I borrowed a few squirts from my daughter’s bottle this morning, and I am slowly starting to really love it.
Initially, I thought it was perfectly nice, but nothing too special. A couple of hours later, and I’m really enjoying how it softly swirls and changes around me…at times more floral, then aquatic, then warm and sweet. Checking the notes, I see marshmallow and cucumber, and now I’m kind of preoccupied with trying to catch and identify both of those notes as the scent wears on.
This is not too sweet, not too floral, and not too aquatic – but it’s a lovely blend of all three.

  23. :

    3 out of 5

So very aquatic and soapy. I don’t find it too “sweet”, and the marshmallow is not highly noticeable like in D&G Pour Femme. There is no powdery aspect. It’s not citrusy but it is fresh. I don’t explicitly smell cucumber as in the type you smell in cucumber body sprays, but if you don’t like aquatic scents, don’t get this.

  24. :

    4 out of 5

It’s too sweet for me and a little strong for my liking. I would probably wear this in colder months or in the evenings when I am wearing something formal. I definitely do not see myself wearing this type of perfume when I’m just running errands or if I am wearing jeans and T-shirt lol. I do not know how to describe the smell but sweet with hints of powdery notes. More sweet than powdery in my opinion. It’s really sweeeeeet! I don’t care much for it so I definitely won’t repurchase.

  25. :

    4 out of 5

I really like this perfume. I’m usually not a fan of sweet gourmand perfumes, because they usually remind me of cheap celebrity scents, but this is quite nice. I’d definitely say it’s more appropriate for someone who wants a youthful vibe but it’s a fairly safe (blind) buy.
On me, this perfume is quite strong. I only use one spray at a time or else I give myself asthma and feel oversaturated with the scent. I easily get 3-6 hours of *strong* smell which really only wears down to moderate at about 7-12 hours of wear. The sweetness remains the entire time but I find it fresh and happy smelling. Doesn’t dry down too powdery or sharp at all due to the aquatic notes.
I’d definitely recommend this over any perfume by Juicy Couture and see it as a more grown-up but fun still version.

  26. :

POPPY is a pleasant, casual scent which is nice for these early spring days when the weather is still chilly. Although POPPY is sweet, it’s light enough that it doesn’t smell like candy and on me, the sweetness recedes quite a bit with dry-down. Otherwise, the notes tend to blend with each other and I don’t detect much change from start to finish, although a subtle hint of spiciness does emerge after a few hours. Sillage is on the low side of moderate and longevity is decent.
For me, POPPY isn’t a “stand out” type of fragrance and not one I would have purchased at full price, but I happened to find it at a deep discount. It’s a safe office scent and probably would be a safe blind buy.

This reminds me so much of Marc Jacobs Dot! It is a nice perfume to just wear when you are not doing anything really special. I haven’t met anyone who doesn’t like this scent. It doesn’t turn heads or anything but it smells really nice, sweet and girly. I am not in love with it but I like it.

Favorite perfume : Viva La Juicy, Pink Friday, Paris Hilton Hieress, Pink Sugar Sensual, Britney Spears Fantasy
Favorite types : Fresh, Sweet gourmand citrus vanilla fruity cherry aquatic
Coach Poppy smells a lot like Pink Sugar Sensual. And i love Pink Sugar sensual so its not a bad thing. I guess this scent is Me. It makes me want to wear Cucumber melon by bath and bodt works. Its so expensive though. 50 bucks for 1 ounce. I can get a 3.4 ounce of pink sugar sensual for 20 bucks

I like this one. I smelled water and raspberry immediately upon spraying, then seconds after I detected vanilla and a dessert-like cream. Following my initial assessment, I checked out the ingredients listed on this page to see if my nose was right. I was surprised to not see some sort of berry listed but definitely understood the aquatic, vanilla, and creme brulee notes. The cucumber does not make its presence known but serves to tone down the sugariness we would otherwise get from the sweeter notes. The marshmallow is more reminiscent of the tea than the mushy candy – barely sweet as opposed to confectionary. As I observed my perfume aura later, I smelled the freesia. Oh how I remember girls rubbing Bath & Body Works Freesia (with the blue flowers on the bottle) on their legs before gym class in high school. Coach Poppy is fruity with enough floral and aquatic notes, and woody warmth in the drydown, to keep me from writing it off strictly as a little girl’s scent.
I would have loved to spray this fragrance on the days I wore my college sweatshirt, little silver hoops, and a ponytail to class. Clean-casual and sporty. I don’t have enough days like this in my 30s to merit the purchase of a FB, but maybe I’ll find another place in my life for this fragrance. Coach Poppy should be worn when you desire a pleasant, pretty scent that will add a touch of sweetness to your day.

The aquatic/ sweet vibe just doesn’t go together. I feel like those two components are at war with each other. When I wear it I feel unsettled. For me there is no peace with this juice.

Poppy is true to all it’s notes. Floral with a kick. Safe to wear to work. I bought a roller ball ( which seems to last forever!) and I like it, but not enough to buy a bigger bottle. I agree it is champagne-like which tempers the flowers, but I don’t crave this perfume. It’s nice. I’m sure people will love it. It seems rather everyday to me…not special enough.

This is my all time favorite perfume. When I think perfume I think this scent. It smells gorgeous and goes with everything.

  35. :

    5 out of 5

I received a mini bottle of parfum so I decided to give it a try. I loved the fruity sweet opening which was tempered by the cucumber, making it bright without being too overwhelmingly sugary. Following that though was a powdery sharp scent that I can’t identify and am not very happy with. It’s like sugary metal and lingers through the dry down. The dry down itself is a soft vanilla with a hint of sandalwood, jasmine and gardenia. Right now it’s a little too sweet for my tastes. Lily and gardenia are usually headache inducing for me and I can’t wear anything that brings those notes out much. But they are minimal enough here to add some floral but not be in the way of the overall mix of notes.
This is a nice enough scent for daytime wear, but I have a dozen other perfumes I would reach for instead. I can see wearing this out shopping or lunch with friends. It seems like the Victoria Secret loving crowd might like this as a more grown-up-girl scent.

  36. :

I bought this one when it 1st came out after smelling a magazine insert. That was back in 2011, and maybe 40 perfumes ago. Once i got it home I found it too sweet for my taste. It does smell yummy on a piece of paper, hidden in the car. On me, I smell like I have been at an amusement park eating cotton candy. There was a perfume that someone gave me a mini bottle of called “Sugar”, and it reminds me of that. My tastes have changed and the sweet gourmands are not my favorites.

  37. :

    5 out of 5

Sprayed this on a card and kept it in my car. I couldn’t stop sniffing the card, which gave me a fizzy scent like pink champagne. It was just delicious but I was hesitant to try it on my skin.
Sure enough, about a week later I spritzed some on my skin and it turned very cotton-candy with a hint of Kool-Aid or cough syrup. I was very sad about this. I don’t believe that age should dictate what perfume a person wears, but the scent lost its uniqueness and exhilarating quality.

  38. :

    3 out of 5

The same thing happens when I try this fragrance on skin as on paper: It starts off nice if a little extra sweet, then it slowly morphs into something slightly unnatural smelling, like metal coated in ice cream.
The first spray pumps out pillows of sweet, sweet marshmallow cut by a dash of cucumber that keeps the sweetness from being overwhelming. The combo is actually really interesting, so much so that I wish it didn’t eventually make me feel ill or that some other perfumer might one day be inclined to brew something like this to better results.
On skin the drydown brings strong notes of Freesia and Rose that give it a little bit of needed maturity. It’s pleasant if not very dynamic. I’m a little sad it’s not for me.

  39. :

    5 out of 5

Really love this one. Very safe and clean. Not too sweet, not powdery at all and awesome for Spring and Summer (early Summer), days. I prefer this to Victoria Secret’s Fresh and Clean or Love Spell (which smells like a mixture of fruit and asprin to me).

  40. :

    5 out of 5

On my neverending quest for gourmands/sweeties I blind bought Poppy. Meh. It’s nice. I actually don’t get the strong cucumber. It smells exactly like Ed Hardy Skull and Roses…. which I have plenty of. Pretty disappointed. They don’t have notes in common, but I guess the creme brulee/marshmallow in Poppy mimics the caramel in S&R?
S&R is stronger and better lasting. Louder and juicier.

  41. :

    5 out of 5

Totally a product of its era, Coach Poppy or a few fragrances more or less like it can be encountered everywhere, for a good reason. They aren’t “too” anything. It is fresh but not sporty, floral but not lacey rose or jungle tuberose, and sweet without turning you into a walking cupcake. I would consider this office appropriate for all but the jobs requiring presenting a tough attitude. I also think it’s a fairly safe blind buy or gift. Longevity is fairly average.

  42. :

    4 out of 5

I can’t explain which note it is in this perfume, but I haven’t gotten it with anything else.
Which actually drives me a little crazy because I’ve searched out fragrances by similar notes and I can’t find it! Not that I haven’t found some nice fragrances, but there’s this one sweet note that’s also fruity? Argh, I just can’t figure it out!
It’s what drew me to the fragrance in the first place, it was just so different and amazing than anything else in the tester isle. So I don’t know if it’s a combination that was just combined really well or what they did but it’s amazing. I always go back to it as my favorite, but I tend to use it sparingly so I don’t over use it.
I tend to think of it as a fruity floral gourmand, because I get ALL of that. I get fruity, I get a hint of floral and I get the crème brulee, which I consider gourmand, maybe not. It works for me and I just love it. My guess would be those who aren’t into sweet wouldn’t like it that well, plus I tend to like the sweet sweet ones, so it could be too sweet for some. But it’s got depth and it’s certainly not a boring sweet.

  43. :

Wow. I tried this on today and within about ten minutes, I realized I was smelling a very familiar scent. That is because this perfume seems to be worn EVERYWHERE by EVERYONE that lives around my area. It smells light and “fine”, but due to the
“Poppy-u-larity”, I would never wear this because it has been done. It has been overdone. It smells so common and un-special in my opinion with not much personality. At least this seems to be the case in the city I live in with certain scents that are marketed to a specific demographic. D&G’s Light Bleu, Donna Karan’s Delicious, & Marc Jacob’s Daisy all have the same problem in my opinion. They are pleasant but make me yawn & I would put this in the same category. My hubby smelled my wrist and we both agreed it smelled nice, just rather boring.
On the up side, the scent is clean, floral, fresh, non-offensive & long lasting since I can’t seem to scrub it off of my wrist.
    Cheers!

A very lovely spring scent. I don’t reach for this too often, I like it, but don’t love it.
At first spray, it smells of very, very sweet, slightly aquatic notes, and it continues onto a sweet fruity floral.
Similar to the Escada fruity scents, but a little more “fresh.” I get a lot of compliments on this one from men! I had a co worker stop me in my tracks and ask me what I was wearing, he wanted to purchase it for his girlfriend!

I love this perfume so much, the whole way through! In the beginning I get fresh fruity floral, and in the dry down I get the sweeter candy. It’s not a complex fragrance, but I always find myself reaching for this when I’m not sure about what to wear, and, after spraying it, happy that I chose it. I know that there are lots of fruity florals out there, but this one is quality and sets itself apart, in my opinion. This is a scent I never want to be without. It also has fair sillage and good longetivity – I sprayed it at 7:30 AM, and still smell it at 7:00 PM. Highly recommend!

This scent is not for me. Mix of sweet, aquatic, candy and floral is a mess on my skin and to my nose. I own a whole bottle that I’d love to swap out to a Coach Poppy lover. 🙂

This was given to me as a Christmas gift by my nephew, who’s, from a young age, said that I always smell good! He found it while searching for something for his girlfriend and thought it “just smelled like” me. – It’s a bright, fresh, cheerful fragrance. I wear this when I’m in a fantastic, “go get ’em” kind of mood. I was afraid that it was too bright for night wear, but was without an alternative on a night out and I received several compliments on it. I think Coach did an exceptional job with the fragrance; they could’ve found a better name for it, however, “Poppy” doesn’t do this perfume justice.

This was a blind buy and sadly, a mistake. The cucumber is detectable but the marshmallow/sugar overpowers it. I do like sweet gourmand fragrances but this is sickly. I would imagine that it would be appropriate for a young girl(teen or preteen)as its cute and sweet. Definitely not sexy or sophisticated. The bottle is pretty and I wear this every now and then for work but would be quite happy to give it away and would not repurchase. It is quite long lasting, at the end of the day I can still smell it on me.

This is my go-to scent for big deals…dates, first days on the job, going to parties. I get compliments ALL the time from men on this one. Its silage is nice, only a few feet, far enough for a cute guy to smell it and ask what it is you’re wearing 😉
It smells sweet, kind of citrusy and fruity, but not overwhelmingly so. The candy and marshmallow and vanilla blurbs above are very accurate. I find that I gravitate towards scents that almost ALWAYS have sandalwood in the notes, and I can definitely pick that up in the dry-down. All in all, a great fruity scent, but also one that can be worn by women in their 20s and possibly 30s. I disagree that it does not smell like Viva La Juicy. I own that one, and Viva is very not fruity, and almost exclusively vanilla-y and marshmallow-y.

I like Coach Signature Summer Legacy very much, and when I found Coach Poppy at Marshall’s for $40.00 didn’t hesitate to buy it. However, my blind buy wasn’t successful. The scent was too harsh and sweet from the get-go. I was waiting patiently trying hard to detect my beloved cucumber, but, alas, it never showed up, at least on my skin. In my case it was all about unbearable sweetness from the beginning to the end. It’s quite linear with no surprises. Lasted good 4 hrs. on my skin.
If you like sweet scents, then it’ll work for you.

I get so confused by the branding of this one, I have coach poppy but the picture on this page I think shows a different one? not sure? Mine is the one in the orange box with graffiti writing. Like it. Its kind of like a BBW scent, which I don’t mean as an insult because I like those body mists for fun and easy. But its too expensive to be compared to those:) its sweet and soft. As all of these…it disappears fast on me, but I enjoy having it in my new growing collection. I wouldn’t give it away.

A blind buy!, I can´t say successful finding, but it is ok for hot weather, I was expecting a sweet, fruity smell, however, It is fresh, floral, kind of aquatic smell, it doesn’t go with my chemistry and poor silage. perfect to use at work, very inoffensive. 6/10

I love this! It’s such a beautiful, fresh and warm fragrance. It has a distinct creme-brulee accord that just wraps you up in feminine loveliness. I love the marshmallow note as well, mixed with the bright fruity florals. I want this so badly!

Sold it, no lasting power on me and one of the other reviewers commented she has this experience with all the Coaches and for me, minimal sillage. I have body sprays that last and project better than this.
