Sniffed this at Ulta. The bottle is super cute, and I was hoping this would be a marshmallow-y clean scent. At first it smells promising (maybe the pear?) but then something goes sharp and bitter. This was a scrubber for sure.

Made a special trip to Ulta today just to test this perfume and yep, I immediately had to have it. It’s light, airy, creamy, and sweet. Not as sweet as Sweet Like Candy (which I love) but rather a more subtle, fluffy sweetness. I also find Cloud somewhat beachy, which is a plus for me. Perhaps even a little clean, not soapy clean by any means, but a sweet clean, if that makes sense. The drydown is fabulous.. an airy, fluffy, creamy, semi-sweet, musky, and comforting concoction of well blended notes.

I love this scent and was so pleasantly surprised by it! To me it smells like a girl’s night out with your best friend. Sitting at a table sharing a decadent dessert; a caramel pear tart topped with fresh whipped cream while sipping sugar rimmed lemon drop martinis. This scent lasts all day long, especially on my clothes. It’s perfect for the brisk fall weather but I’ll be wearing it all year!

Definitely a clone of Baccarat Rouge – or the dry down of it. I can’t believe they can copy MFK. I hope he gets a proceed of the sales!

This is not going to be a popular or likeable review.
Blind buy. I like Sweet Like Candy, so I figured I’d give this a go.
    The bottle is strange.
    Now I know why.
The liquid in it is strange.
I sprayed it on myself while my husband was in the shower. When he came into the bedroom, he accused me of spraying his “smell”.
I said “no, it’s this” and showed him the bottle.
For a few hours after, I smelled like I’d come home from the beach. Sandy. Salty. Airy.
Out of all of the “notes” listed…..I get zero. None.
Silage and longevity are like all Ariana Grande perfumes…..low to medium.
Conclusion? Cloud is unisex. It’s bottled to be unisex. It’s a masculine scent that anybody could wear.
My dorky husband has commendeared my bottle.

The bottle and box are a big win but the fragrance, not so much. It’s like a bag of lemon sherbet mixed with a nondescript mens’ aftershave. Lasts for ages.

Nope, this one is not for me. I love a lot of sweet fragrances, and expected to like this one, but definitely not. There is a sour, sharp component that shows up right away and then sticks around even after I tried washing it off AND covering it up with a different perfume…! I made the mistake of testing this on one arm right before I went to work, I figured it would be totally safe to do so with an Ariana Grande scent…. usually sweet and not super long lasting. Not this time, lol!
I’m pretty sure it’s the musk they used here that I have issues with. I have other fragrances with musk and it usually isn’t a problem. On my skin this turns sharp, almost civet like. Other have mentioned a “cheap after shave” feel and that’s what I end up with too. I can’t even tell you what other notes are in this because the tang I don’t care for is so overwhelming.
    Test before buying!

Sweet (but not too sweet) and fluffy coconut-sprinkled marshmallow. The drydown is my favorite part, though—it’s a bit musky with the idea of lavender and a touch of fruit.
I find it quite light with low sillage, though it does last reasonably well on my skin. Ariana’s scents all feel like nice body sprays, to me. Sweet and pretty, fluffy, but verging on nondescript. Cloud is probably the most unique one so far, and it has an adorable bottle that I will almost certainly buy! I’ll be honest; I don’t think I’d buy this if the bottle wasn’t so cute.

So far I didn’t like any of Ariana’s perfumes. Not that they are terrible, but they are just too sweet. I am having high hopes for this one, although I think I’d still use it as a bit of guilty pleasure worn at home.

I expected to enjoy this, but it wasn’t meant to be. Instead of the lovely creamy marshmallow that others get, I amp the wood, bergamot, and nothing else. On me, Cloud is an uncomplicated, sour, aftershave type scent. The only potential upside I can find is that it doesn’t seem to wear off, even after several hours. I’m grateful that I got to use a tester instead of blind buying.

At first, I can smell the fruity notes, but later it dries down to this vanilla note. The dry down reminds me of Atelier’s Vanile Insensee. This perfume is sweet, but not so much like Ari, Sweet Like Candy, and Moonlight. This smell is very comforting, and makes me feel relaxed. I was chased by bees, and various aviary creatures wearing this perfume so I take it as a very good sign. The longevity is about a full work day (8 hours). I sprayed some on a friend, and smelled some of it on them as the wind blew, or when I was about half an arm’s length away. I also smelled this on myself as I walking. I think the sillage is above moderate but not heavy; somewhere in between.
The bottle packaging is cute. The white cloud and the bottle is detachable, so it’s travel-friendly. The white detachable cloud is made of rubber. and the blue bottle has her name on it.
The bottle packing is also sleek, and different from the other packaging.
Right now, there’s promo at various drugstores where one can get a white backpack along with the purchase of their perfume.
I picture myself wearing this perfume on my “sweater weather” days, or just cold and wet days in general.

Well I’ve had a rough month and I decided to treat myself to some roses and a new perfume. I wasn’t expecting to try Ariana Grandes line, in fact I don’t know much about her and can’t name any of her songs. But the cloud bottle looked super cute and not that expensive. Guess what, I love this! I found several of her perfumes I tried to be very light and delicate, sweet, mass appealing yes but I can’t deal with high village perfumes just now and this is perfect. I get a light marshmallow + coconut, something a bit airy and very light musk. I don’t get lavender but that’s fine. It’s perfect for my state of mind just now and the cloud bottle is kind of serene. I also liked Ari.
So Ariana I still don’t know your music but I’m a fan of your perfume line.

This is lovely. I can see this suiting a wide age range of fragrance fans, it’s got a bit more mature feel than some of her other sweet fragrances, but still fun and vibrant. Some have compared it to Bath and Body works Boardwalk Marshmallow, but that one was just sweet musk and not much else on me. I also do not see the comparisons to Baccarat Rouge 540 other than the sweetness–they are both sweet fragrances.
This one is whipped cream and praline with a hint of lavender over a woody musky base. 2 sprays is about 5 hours on me, and the sillage is never loud or very strong. Coworker says it smells like spicy vanilla.
The bottle is clear blue glass with an acrylic cloud shaped lid…and it sits in a plastic ‘cloud’ base (but is removable from that base). Very kitschy, reminds me of Rainbow Brite and smurfs and childhood. I like it.

Ok, first of all, i really love Ariana’s perfumes but this one really disappointed me. All of her perfumes have a great sweet smell but this one smells like a man cheap perfume. Is it just me or i kind of feel like this smell like play doh?

  17. :

Let me start off with the bottle and packaging for it is definently 10/10. It is heavy and does not feel cheap! Also the box is definently a keeper. Now when i got this fragrance i expected to smell a sweet lavender cotton type scent according to the notes, but when i sprayed this it definently is different. When you spray it you instantly smell a linen musk type of scent, and when it dries down it’s a musky linen with hints of a sweet smell that i can’t explain because the musk over powers it. And when you spray it on your clothes it just dries down much like a mans body spray. Now honestly if it wasn’t for the bottle, i wouldn’t like this at all. I feel like the scent could definently be better. I have all of her other scents and they are just beautiful. Cloud i would rate scent wise 4/10. There’s just that musky weird undertone that is hard to describe. I’m definently keeping it for my perfume collection because the bottle is just adorable, but i don’t think i’ll be using it that much at all! I would suggest smelling it before you purchase it, because i can tell you this will not be everyones favorite.

This is an amazing fragrance! It is a replica of Baccarat Rouge 540. Tell me if you agree!

Smells exactly like what you’d think. A fluffy “white” fragrance heavily dominated by cream notes and praline. I only get coconut in the drydown. The lavender and bergamot really don’t exist for me, but perhaps I’m anosmic to them. I like it, it’s fresh and smells delicious! But after all of Ari’s other perfumes in their gorgeous bottles with Pom-poms this one ends up looking kitschy and clownish. Like a child’s toy. It’s not something I’ll display with my other fragrances, but I will still happily wear it because it does smell amazing!

Welp, I can’t believe it but I think this is a great scent.. going to buy a small bottle to see how the longevity is.. I mean wow well done Ariana.
Edit: I finally got my sample. sprayed it on myself last Sunday to doing errands w the boyfriend.. At one point he literally put the windows down because of a weird “smokey smell” that was in the car… he was talking about this perfume.. Never has he had a bad reaction to my scents.. Meanwhile I could smell it faintly on myself and it wasn’t a smell I would say was great.
Not great. Not even good unfortunently.
The little paper sample is infinitely better than the real stuff.
Smells like Atelier Vanilla incense?? Nope

I tried Britney Spear Fantasy before and I did not like it at all (most of her perfumes are very synthetic and artificial on my skin, except Prerogative). Cloud is in the same “sweet” range with Fantasy and Ariana’s other frags but it still has the different sweetness and it actually smells fresh. Because I also have and adore Sweet Like Candy and Moonlight, I can see the differences, comparing those two with Cloud, another love for me.
Cloud opened up with a lightly, fluffy sweetness from a yummy milky coconut and whipped cream. Creamy praline, musk, wood, pear, and orchid joined in a little later and lasted thru the whole dry down process. I vaguely detected bergamot and lavender in the back, but there was definitely a light freshness added to the composition. On my skin, Cloud was very feminine, and there was not so much of “masculine” vibe at all.
Having tested and owned many sweet fragrances, I can’t say that Cloud is something that I haven’t smelled before, nor it is ground breaking, nor a wow factor…But it is a very nice comforting gourmand, pleasantly sweet scent and well crafted. It does not by any mean smell cloying, cheap, nor artificial. It is not so much different than Ariana’s other frags, but different enough to me to still enjoy it. Another successful blind buy for me.
The bottle design is girlie and cute in the round shape and the white cloud on the bottom is actually a separate plastic base to hold the bottle. I can go without that base and it does not impact the usage of the bottle. I wish that Cloud comes in a 3.4 oz 100 ml capacity though, as it is worth to have in bigger size. Cloud has moderate sillage and longevity.

Almond cloud! Why.. idnt know. Want list! I got a paper sample and it smells identical to Forbidden by Police, one of my favs, a tad more fruity and ALOT sweeter. The bergamot and Praline play tricks with my nose. I’m really curious to actually try the perfume since paper samples are often deceiving. I love bergamot and pear in perfumes, and I get that fresh pear scent.
The packaging is unique and very young, just not something id proudly put on display since im 29. I love the rollerball design tho.
Update: Opens up like Police Forbidden then the coconut takes over and smells very tropical almost like Escada Born in Paradise. A very nice youthful perfume for summer!

Imagine you’re walking down the street, and in front of you is a young couple. The female is wearing Ari and the male is wearing something that smells like Mark Jacobs Decadence. And you get wafts of the two together.
And, they don’t blend, rather, the smells exist independently of each other.
Pros: If you like this, the fragrance stays on clothing and you can smell it on yourself for a while. Sillage is probably decent, as I sprayed low on my shirt, away from my face, and I can still smell it as I walk and as I sit.

I got to sniff this at Ulta earlier this evening. It’s very fluffy and sweet. I get a marshmallow accord too, but it could be the whipped cream mixing with the coconut. I also get a slight masculine edge in the dry down too, as somebody already mentioned. I’m sure that’s from the bergamot, wood and lavender.
I want to add that I did find the bottle somewhat cumbersome to spray. Overall, it’s sweet and the name “Cloud” suits it; it’s like a big, fluffy cumulonimbus cloud. I still don’t like Ariana, but her newest release is pretty dang good.

  25. :

I pick up a boatload of marshmallow and not much else (and yes, I realize marshmallow is not listed in the notes, but that is how this smells to me). And maybe a little bit of the praline (which to me smells more like caramel, but I digress). Also a creaminess to this.
Sweet…but not sickeningly sweet, and there is a softness here. Very gourmand and softly sweet…Slightly creamy smelling.
Would make a great first perfume for a really young girl, or anyone who likes softly sweet and/or gourmand scents should test this one out…For me, it’s a little too much been there/done that..but hey, I’m an older gal who’s been around the fragrance world a long time….If I were a young gal or a sweet or gourmand lover, I would probably love this. The bottle does look like something from Hello Kitty or something along those lines. Super-soft sillage, and not very good on longevity.

Major mall vibes from this one, like a Claire’s/Limited Too/Bath&Body Works sweet scent from the late 90’s/early 00’s. This is a positive for me. Very cute and fluffy with presentation to match. The bottle lifts out of the cloud base.
    Edited to add:
Dry down has a pleasant masculine edge.

    Hi loves,
My bottle just arrived. Better late then never (uhh September 1?). Anyway I ordered online to avoid having to push tweens out of my way at Ulta on the 23rd.
Bottle is cute. Hello Kitty Anime vibe. Strangely the juice would fit better in the Ari crystal and Ari better in this cute cloud.
This smells very much like the perfume Ari’s older slightly Goth cousin.
I don’t get any coconut at all. Definitely lavender and almost champagne grape scent. It is sweet but a more sophisticated sweet. Like more of a scone than a doughnut. Been on my wrist for 2 hours no fade. Not sure about projection though. I like it.
But it is not different enough from Ari to warrant buying both. I’d say if you want spring summer get Ari. For fall/winter Cloud.

Floffles: Hot Topic has a unicorn perfume bottle that actually looks nice and the notes don’t sound bad. It’s called Blackheart Beauty Mythical Mist and from the notes, I gather that it’s definitely on the sweet side.

yeah, wow. September first meant nothing. Its September 14th, and its still not available. And i’m not talking about the rollerball, that’s been out since before sep. 1st.

Ariana Grande never disappoints when it comes to her fragrances. She’s one of the very few celebrities who is actually hands on with the composition of her fragrances and doesn’t just use it as a money grab.
Upon the first spray, i immediately smelled the lavender, then followed the vanilla orchid, and it dries down with a creamy coconut and praline.
Cloud has a decent silage and moderate longevity. I get a good 4-5 hours on my skin, Which is okay. Like all of Ariana’s fragrances, i think this is a safe blind buy. Even if you don’t love it, you definitely won’t hate it.
The 10ml rollerball and 10ml spray is only available as of now.

  32. :

    5 out of 5

I really like this! I have the rollerball and love the cloud topper. When I first put it on I get a freshness from the lavander. I only wish it lasted longer. Then I get a musky-coconut that sticks close to the skin. It is definitely not a sugarbomb and I can wear it to work.

Honestly I am such a sucker for adorable packaging that I could care less what the juice smells like. The bottle is crazy cute and will look even better next to my new Kimoji fruit bottles.
If someone comes out with a unicorn or kitten bottle then they already have my $$$
