Les Essences de Parfum include new compositions in Eau de Parfum concentration, offered in new bottles still in the shape of the male and female torso.

Classique Essence de Parfum starts with a fresh spicy note of ginger. The heart of Sambac jasmine and orange blossom is placed on a sultry base of precious woods, vanilla and chantilly cream. The faceted glass bottle of the perfume features reduced breasts and more pronounced hips in comparison with the original. The fragrance is created by Daphne Bugey.

The fragrances will come out in September 2016. Classique Essence de Parfum is available as a 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum priced at 78.50 and 110.50 Euros.

Indeed a beautiful and a powerful scent. One spray and you are good to go for hours!
I find it very similar to J’adore Absolu.
That said, it is sweet, strong and unfortunately makes me sick to my stomach. I think, I need to stay away from white floral fragrances, especially sugary ones. But if you love gourmand floral scents, go for it!

I love this. Whenever I see vanilla at the top row of the notes, I move on. If I see whipped cream on that line, I move on running. I don’t care for scents that end up all sweet vanilla. The ginger is very prominent and balances the vanilla and cream. I think the benzoin helps too. The orange blossom and jasmine are there, kind of in the background for me, just enough to make this feminine, but different. It’s warm and interesting, and kind of linear (which I like) in the sense that all the wonderful notes are there thru the drydown, they don’t disappear or morph into something else, just get a little quieter. This is the sexiest frag I own.

My God is this beautiful!? Wow, currently wearing it as I am typing this. It is raining outside, very gloomy day yet each time I get a whiff of it on me I feel so sexy! When I wear it, I walk with my head held up high, like I can conquer anything such as this gloomy day I am having at work right now lol but hey, I own the day! Glad I found me a 3.4oz bottle.

Good lord, this scent is incredible! I ordered samples from ebay and the minute I sprayed it on, I knew it was full bottle worthy. If you love Alien or Armani Code, this is especially perfect for you. Delicious jasmine and sweet orange spices. It’s so RICH and heady and nuanced. LOVE it.

I agree! This is extremely sensuous and hedonistic. I much prefer it to the original. This is a delicious flanker. Not too spicy despite the ginger note.

Round of applause for this scent. I don’t really care for the original Classique, but this is lovely. It’s rich and creamy, but the citrus keeps it from being too cloying. It’s like a fancy, perfumed version of an orange cream soda. This also seems to get a lot of compliments! This is a white floral without the soapiness and with added oomph. I notice a lot of people call this very sexy or sensual, but I wear this to work so I guess you could say I don’t really get that vibe from it. I can see this working in any weather/season too, which is always a bonus.

sex in a bottle! what more can I say? the original is classy-sexy, but this is carnal. it’s also delicious. not in a candy shoppe or bakery way, but in an “I want to lick every part of your body” sort of way. 😉

Another long lasting gem, it resisted on my skin over 12 hours and kept projecting even after 7 hours of wearing a few dabs! The smell is amazing, so sophisticated and elegant! I smell the vanilla and the cream combined with fruity goodness from the tangerine and orange blossom, the jasmine is also very present, as well as some benzoin. I’m not a fan of fruity vanilla scents because they usually smell rather infantile (from a lack of a better word) for my tastes (see Juicy Couture Gold, which is very similar to this fragrance but having berries instead of tangerine, it is more youthful than this one, in my opinion). This one smells classy and it’s a super love!

Being a true “signature scent type of girl” who by principal never allows rows of fragrances to collect on her vanity counter, I have been a JPG Classique edt devotee for over a decade. As soon as I turned 30 a few years ago, however, my developed scent palette no longer seemed a good fit for my once beloved Classique edt, which, almost as if overnight, turned from glamorous & sophisticated to dated & matronly to my unsuspecting nose- characteristics which I didn’t wish to have marking my exciting eventful new decade of life! And so with much gratitude to the house of JPG for many good years, I began the search for my new signature scent to take me through my next decade of life.
I ventured into a wide variety of scents from many designer houses, finding a few great scents but never quite finding one to call “Home”. The closest I came to that was with the Thierry Mugler Angel flanker “Eau Sucree” which I loved, but which didn’t love me in return as communicated by the respiratory altercations our short-lived near love affair had. And so since then I’ve had to settle on some ‘okay’ fragrances, none of which confidently felt made for me, which I could feel passionate about as I long to feel about any fragrance I wear. I longed for the moment of ‘knowing’ that I had had that very first time I smelled JPG Classique over a decade ago and wondered if it was too great an ask for a second moment like that in one lifetime.
And then one chilly afternoon, rushing into a department store on an errand, the air inside the store slapped me in the face with a scent so distinguished, sparkling, flirtatious, strong and all woman, all feminine. Unapologetically! Without control of my own faculties, my nose led my now floating feet along the trail of this scent, leading me a few feet away to a sales assistant of the store, before whom my feet came to a stop enveloped in a mesmerising stupor of delirium. I looked upon the unaware source of scent bliss, for a moment unable to stop my imagination from transforming her mere human form into a cast spelling witch draped in fairytale-like wizardry wear. A minute or 2 later after a brief polite conversation, the content of which I can’t recall in detail, for under a spell I truly was, I was led to the fragrance counter where she pointed out to me the bottled source of her powers: JPG Classique Essence de Parfum.
I couldn’t believe it. When I had decided to leave my old signature of Classique edt, it hadn’t even crossed my mind to look intentionally for my new signature scent within the very same designer house amidst the same dna siblings of my old favorite. Having previously tested the Classique EdP as well as the Scandal release, I had not been impressed by the new editions. And to now find my new home right where I started was a thrill. As though I had left my home to go and look for home, traveling all around the world in search of it. Only to come back and find that I had home all along.
Interestingly however, I would rather combine the newer kik-butt female silhouette of the Essence bottle with the contents of the Classique edt, and have the original super feminine silhouette bottle house the contents of the Essence scent for some imaginative reason…
To the next decade of a fragrance love affair with the house (my home) of Jean Paul… oxo

This is virtually identical to Paco Rabanne Olympea Aqua, at least to my nose. I have yet to do a side by side comparison to smell the differences. Maybe I’m putting it off because this is brash, just like Olympea Aqua, and I don’t particularly enjoy either.
Edit: I did the side to side comparison, and if this is of help to anyone, I still find them very similar.
To me, the Paco Rabanne goes a little “airy”, perhaps aquatic although it doesn’t to me smell like a typical aquatic, while the Gaultier goes to a more powdery direction. It smells in the early dry down stage like some iris type powderiness comes through.
They are equally sweet, or maybe the Rabanne is a little sweeter as the powdery feel saves the Gaultier from going quite as sticky.
To my nose the Gaultier is more pleasant, as I like powdery scents, and the dry down of this is to me its best part. It’s the more grown-up of the two.
This has zero similarity to the Classique EDT, besides the orange blossom but that is drowned in massive amounts of whatever cloying note it is they’ve used.

This is the modern interpretation of the original Classique. A sparkling mix of ginger, spices, tangerine plus a hefty dose of heavy vanilla cream. The Classique dna could be traced by the subtle powderiness that persist through out the duration of the perfume. This is definitely good stuff, sweet and spicy with superb sillage and longevity. If you think the original Classique is too old fashioned for you, do give this one a try.

I really want to like this one but that massive coma inducing sweetness blindsided me.It really is well made and all the notes are perfectly in sync. BUT I could never wear this without becoming irritated. To give you an example of the massive sillage. I sprayed some on a kleenex and left it in living room. Later in coming back into the room, the scent had taken over forcibly. SMH.

This is so different from the original and uniquely beautiful it should ideally have its own identity not as a flanker. Though the bottle is intriguing. I agree with the reviews – this is a floral jasmine with mandarin notes. It really works though and is probably my favorite flanker of the original. If you are a jasmine lover this is a must have.

I am getting afraid now slowly I will have to dig deep into my savings for this beauty. I am intrigued to like it, God, if this one was named Scandal, what a turn of success it would have made. In my wildest dreams that I never thought I would enjoy something with wipped cream at the base. But it is Damn well made, by all means!

Hey, how about re-naming this one Scandal and making the real Scandal a flanker to it? Something like, Scandal instead of Classique Essence de Parfume and Sweet Scandal instead of that ugly bottle named Scandal nowadays. This one is really lovely, a bit sharp, agree, a girl shouting “here I am”, but when in the mood, it makes for a good wear. Got a miniature from a stingy Douglas Aunty and I kind of like it. I doubt it will be a buy, but is lovely.

Creamy orange blossom and jasmine, with (I think) ambroxan for a contemporary feel. Very nice! Perfect for warm weather. Too much would be cloying. I, too, get the similarity to Mugler’s Alien Absolue.

This is SWEEEET! I cannot say there is no tangerine/orange to this, or some ginger or benzoin, but in reality this is all about orange blossom and over-sweetened vanilla whipping cream.
If you haven’t smelled this, let me give you a visual:
Imagine a better quality vanilla whipping cream infused with orange blossom, but in a canned dispenser and as you are applying it onto a candied ginger / tangerine sorbet, the nozzle gets stuck, it covers the dessert dish, spills over onto your kitchen counter, then the can explodes all over the kitchen and as it expands, you end up with an apartment full of foam, that would make any 3 day long party in Ibiza green with envy.
The main point here however, is not so much the sweetness, as is the NUCLEAR power of this fragrance: 1 spritz on my forearm, under a long sleeve blouse and a sweater, was enough for me to be enveloped in a sweet scent bubble so massive, that I thought I was smelling the lady sitting 1 row in front of me on the airplane. Then I found out it was me, as my 1 spritz forearm, covered with 2 layers of fabric, highjacked the car that drove me home from the airport! Something tells me that Uber driver won’t be needing any air freshener for the next day or so…
Those of you who like YSL Black Opium, might like this fragrance. I’ve been wearing it for 5 hours, and though the fragrance is quite linear, the benzoin is now more prominent; Perhaps not as bombastic as in the first 4 hours; No signs of this fragrance retreating into a skin scent any time soon. I find this best suited for situations outside of the workplace and at temperatures no higher than 75F / 24C.

Lovely, lovely, lovely,,, Sweet, orangey, creamy!
First of all, the sweetness here is on point, not sickly sweet or just slightly sweet,,, nope, for the sweetness: perfection!!
Then the orange blossom gives it that deepness and richen its character!, its not sourly citrusy, but orangey vanilla with a recognisable touch of white flowers!
The dry down after hours of wearing it becomes creamy and delicate!
a love for me, i give it 9/10!
really nice and lovely, perfect for spring and summer!

I’ll begin by saying that I’m olfactively unacquainted with the original classique. I stumbled across this researching benzoin perfumes. I was intrigued by the ginger and the whipped cream. I got some samples so I could give this a good test drive.
The first note I got was orange blossom, and some spicy ginger. Although orange blossom is generally light bodied, it sat atop a very sweet lush perfume. I loved it. On clothing, classique essence maintains an “all notes in” blend. On my skin, the stages shook down with the top notes naturally setting the stage.
An hour in, the “whipped cream” turns super cloying. More like cotton candy. It was hideous. Catching wafts coming off my wrist was like getting a spoonful of pure granulated sugar stuck forcibly in my mouth. I could actually bear through this stage if it were brief, but unfortunately the middle stage lasts around 4+ hours on my skin. When the final cashmere wood stage sets in, it smells so good I begin to rethink how I felt about it for 4 hours. But I can’t forget the middle. And now when I smell the more linear presentation on my clothes, I can smell that lurking sugar bomb hiding behind the other notes.
My other impression is that this perfume is trying too hard to be sexy/dressy. Like wearing stilettos covered in rhinestones to the grocery store, or wearing an outfit with way too much cleavage showing to *every* occasion. Just didn’t click with me.

I got a sample of this a few weeks ago and kind of ignored it because I thought it would be similar to the original (which I really like) I figured “how exciting can a flanker really be?” Well, the answer is… VERY exciting!
I wore it today and I’m in love! It’s similar enough to the original to be instantly liked… but it’s different enough to be a LOVE.
I’m not great at discerning individual notes, etc, but I can say that my overall impression is one of more refinement. It’s slightly more delicate, but still has all the attitude of the original. It’s somehow more sophisticated. For me, the original is a bit brash. There’s nothing brash about Essence de Parfum… but somehow it’s very similar.
This will definitely be going on my shopping list.

I was given a few samples of this and it is a lovely perfume, even if it is a little too strong and slightly cloying for my own personal taste. It actually reminds me a lot of So…? – the original perfume. I noticed the similarity the instant I sprayed it. JPG Classique Essence shares four main notes with that scent, those being tangerine, orange blossom, jasmine, and vanilla. The two are very similar – both are very rich – although this scent has a whipped cream vibe, which makes it a bit more gourmand, whilst So…? has more jasmine, it’s a little fresher, and it has a much juicier tangerine note. So…? is also lighter, easier to wear, and it’s a fraction of the price. If you were wearing So…? I do believe you’d be able to tell someone it was JPG and they’d probably believe you if they knew the scent. They are THAT similar, at least to my nose. All in all, JPG Classique Essence is a very nice perfume, just a little bit too heavy and sweet for me.

  24. :

    3 out of 5

The ginger and tangerine in the top notes of Classique Essence de Parfum are very strong to me. They blend into the sweeter notes and give the fragrance a zingy, sparkly start.
I haven’t conciusly smelled the original Classique for years, but this flanker clearly has the recognizable Classique DNA with orange blossom and vanilla, and it’s extra creamy through the chantilly note. I think I smelled a hint of tuberose, too, even though it’s not in the notes.
While the ginger vanishes, the tart juicy tangerine stays for a long time. Otherwise this perfume has a smooth fresh-to-warmer developement, no big twist here.
It also has a good longevity and is overall a lovely warm, creamy and very feminine scent with some citrusy zest.

  25. :

    5 out of 5

Wow this is a beauty! I totally stopped taking notice of JPG flankers due to the sheer amount of them, I fell backwards down a rabbit hole of classique this, summer that.
    Then this came along!!
It opens sweet and smooth from the vanilla whipped cream, but it never ventures into gourmand terriory. The tangerine cuts through like a knife and balances it out and stops it from becoming cloying, I said in my Youtube review that it was something like a glamourous orange creamsicle. The freshness of the orange blossom is also a reason this doesn’t get to gourmandy.
I can see the comparisons to Essence Absolue, but only slightly, they both contain the smooth sweetness but where EA is much more jasmine based, this is more orange blossom based. The jasmine isn’t a pronounced in this one. The sweetness is different too, I think EA has a more “doll head” like sweetness and this is more creamy. I also think it’s in a similar terriroty to Guerlain’s Teracotta only sweeter with no coconut, it’s in the same realm (not saying they smell exactly the same).
It’s womanly, smooth, sweet, white floral and with great quality. It lasts for a very long time and the liquid is kinda oily on your skin. This would be a gorgeous summer night fragrance but I’ll be wearing it in Autumn too as it will withstand the colder weather.
    It’s gorgeous!
Not much morphing goes on, it only gets smoother and sweeter with time (still not gourmand though).

I don`t quite like the original one, but maybe it`s a bit more skin-friendly..I tested this one, and I ended up smelling like fake tan..also I find a striking resemblance with Paco Rabanne`s Olympea, very much the same sort of fragrance, although this one has more honey in it.

Classique Essence de Parfum by Jean Paul Gaultier is incredibly lush and sensual on the skin. This is by far my favourite flanker from the Classique line-up, and in my opinion the sexiest from the range.
Classique Essence de Parfum features a rich, syrupy blend of orange blossom, vanilla, tangerine and cashmere wood. The overall scent is somewhere between an oriental and a gourmand. I would most likely wear this fragrance during Winter or as an evening scent as it packs quite a punch in terms of projection and longevity.
Despite its creamy, syrupy texture I can’t say that it smells overly sweet nor anything remotely like whipped cream. It’s an opulent orange blossom scent on my skin, bold, sensual and somewhat addictive.
There appears to be a lot of discussion surrounding whether or not this flanker tops the original Classique. I personally think it does, yet I know some hardcore Classique fans may disagree. I am also favouring Classique Essence de Parfum’s bottle design as I find it much more striking than the original feminine torso design.
Classique Essence de Parfum has the potential to last for days on the skin, and I would not be surprised if it’s one to linger on clothing too. I certainly hope that this fragrance sticks around and is not speedily discontinued like many Classique flankers often are.

In 2016, Jean Paul Gaultier introduced to the world a new version of his iconic Classique (from 1993), as well as a new variation for the famous masculine Le Male (from 1995). The story of two fragrances, true bestsellers, meets innovation. According to the brand, it is a new step, bringing the famous duo to Belle Parfumerie.
The concept behind the fragrances reveals a laboratory located inside the “Gaultier’s factory”, that has been explored in the last campaigns. In fact, the hardcover book (made for the press) brings exclusive photos on the subject.
Classique Essence de Parfum was created in Eau de Parfum Intense concentration and contrary to what has been released by some specialized websites and e-commerces, its fragrance features notes of pepper, chantilly and ginger, in the head. The body of the fragrance was constructed with orange blossom and jasmine Sambac. The base has musk, cade wood (a type of juniper) and Cachalox (molecule created by Firmenich), which confers sensuality and extends the durability.
The perfumer herself – Daphné Bugey – explains that working with ginger was primordial, since it was intended to respect the DNA of the original version with the same explosive aspect. In addition, the creaminess of the vanilla comes in the form of whipped cream, generating a gourmand facet. All this is ratified in the book and in the official video released by the brand. It is worth remembering that she was also involved in the creation of the last limited editions (Betty Boop and Wonder Woman), as well as in the recently announced Scandal.
On the skin, Classique Essence de Parfum is delightful! Unlike the masculine that disappointed me a bit, as a flanker, this one has nuances that remind of several previous versions inside the same pillar. And the great highlight is due to the junction of the whipped cream with the richness of jasmine, during the evolution. In fact, the use of the whipped cream/chantilly (although synthetic) has become very common in recent times, as has happened with the use of the sorbet note.
The fragrance is explosive and luminous, but quickly becomes creamy without getting nauseous. The orange blossom gives balance and the jasmine Sambac brings orange facets, almost fruity. It is not a candy perfume. It is sweetened and goes towards the gourmand, with great projection and amazing lasting. It’s perfect for these colder winter days.
To finish, I have to talk about the bottle that is, in my opinion, the great highlight in this new duo. Now, the famous bust is naked and gained more curves and definition. The woman behind Classique Essence de Parfum is no longer that of the corset. She practices boxing and krav Maga, does not tolerate sexism and also does not give up the sensuality of a beautiful perfume.

Here’s what I love about this fragrance: it has balls. I am so tired of the trend in fragrances where everything is so diffused and insipid — diluted down to the point where it won’t offend anyone and has absolutely no character at all. Classique Essence de Parfum has confidence and swagger and is not trying to shrink away from attention. The ginger is sparkling, the orange blossom is voluptuous, the vanilla is sensual, the amber is enveloping, and the whipped cream is luscious.
This fragrance actually has a lot of the va-va-voom of an 80s oriental (and I think there is a nod to this ancestry with the gorgeous aldehydic ginger top notes), but it smells completely modern and womanly. The ambery base is really well-done too, with woodsy-crystalline effects from ambroxan that link together beautifully with the creamy and floral notes.
Classique Essence de Parfum is a really exuberant, buxom fragrance that I enjoyed getting to try out. My collection already has a lot of other big floriental-gourmand fragrances so purchasing this would be somewhat of a redundancy for me, but I would absolutely recommend this fragrance to lovers of the original Classique or anyone who enjoys big florientals.

I couldn’t wait to try classique essence.as a gaultier fan,I was dreaming about this one since I read about it in fragrantica and today is finally the promised day
All in all I love gaultier’s special bottle designs but this one is one of the bests
I didn’t know how aldehydes are going to act here but now I can see.I can detect aldehyde sparkle just in it’s first minutes as if it opens with a peppery soapy jasmine but soon orange flower and jasmine kick in,rounded by super delicious, warm, sweet and creamy notes of vanilla, benzoin and cream.I can also smell spicy orange which calms down as it dries down to a more woodsy, deeper base
I have classique edp and intense too, also cinema and alien essence absolue.I can get where comparisons come from but similarities are not too much to make this masterpiece a dupe of something else or even unoriginal.call me crazy but it reminds me aquolina gold sugar in it’s middle phase.not that they smell similar, classique essence is NOT coconuty but it appeared as a love child of gold sugar and classique intense to my nose, inheriting orangey creme deliciousness from gold sugar and deep jasmine-vanilla-benzoin combo from the latter one
What makes me love classique essence even more is that it really develops on skin and has three distinctive phases:first phase which lasts less than ten minutes is the before mentioned soapy, peppery jasmine which is kind of wierd but also intresting.second phase which lasts for 1-2 hours is it’s sweetest phase.a mix of spicy orange, creamy flowers and buttery vanilla.it’s a non-foody gourmand, loud and sexy
Third phase which is the longest lasting phase is still sweet but not as much as previous hours.it loses it’s gourmand aspect and becomes deeper, more serious, more sensual and more grown up.I can still detect orange flower-vanilla-cream combo but in a drier, woodsy base.I enjoy cashmere in it’s drydown and I love the fact that woodyness doesn’t ruin perfume’s feminity
This is going to be among my top favorites, something that I want to have always in my collection.it’s one of the best fragrances of recent years IMHO and is even signature material
I see that most people prefer to wear it in fall and winter.I agree as it is sweet, warm and rich but I’m also going to use it as evening and night perfume in spring and summer.now that I’m trying it,is a breezy early summer evening and it feels just right.I asked my man to give his opinion in couple of words as usual and he used these words:sexy and feminine.I expected to hear more enthusiasm and complement from him but I’m not dissapointed,I’m sure that I’m going to receive more than enough complements with this babe as it’s memorable and will definitely be noticed
I sprayed it seven hours ago and it’s still there.sillage was huge in first hours but now it seems to be close to skin
Highly recommended whether you are a classique fan or not
    ❤❤❤❤❤

OMG.. i’m in love. My first perfume was JPG classic. I recevied it as a gift from my brother when I was 15. It became the start of my perfume obsession. Today the JPG classic reminds med to much of the 90’s. The classique essence still has that JPG DNA and the “omph” that I love. It starts of with fresh ginger and rounds down to a creamy heaven. I wish it had bigger projection though. Keep sniffing myself…. Awkvaaard. Haha..

Yes, this does resemble Alien Essence Absolue, BUT Classique Essence de Parfum doesn’t have that balmyness, nor the medicinal smell which Alien EA has. This is very sexy and feminine, while Alien EA leans towards the unisex side.
In my opinion, Classique Essence dP is a combination between Alien EA, mixed with Olympea and Roberto Cavalli EDP, and it is perfection! It’s not the most unique fragrance, this type of fragrance has been done before, but I find this one to be the most refined and balanced out of all of them.

    What a masterpiece!
While I hated the original classique – mainly for its horrid bottle and heavy presence of star anise, I love this one so much! Got a sample and was dredding it for a while, but tries anyway. Love at first whiff!
The bottle is much more atractive, minimalistic and elegant, classy. Looks expensive.
Scent wise? Beautiful creamy and slightly buttery vanilla, orange blossom and ginger. Beautifully blend into one smooth essence. Very warm, tender and feminine. Like a soft veil of floral vanilla with a hint of ginger and a splash of thick cream. Very light, but deap and intense at the same time. Enravels you into a veil of cosy, yet sexy smell.
Silage and longevity are quite good too, not as intense as original classique though.
    This one is just beautiful!

Very warm, spicy, woody and kind of powerful feminine scent.
I definitely find ginger (and lots of that!), vanilla and cream, with tiny hints of flowers and tangerine.
Usually my head doesn’t handle Gaultier’s Classique scents very well, but maybe this is not so irritating..
I have to test it again and find out..
(Bottle is so beautiful, as usual when it comes to case of Classique scents)

This is the smell and taste of having “orange blossom honey” with fresh cream for breakfast in the middle of Jasmine and honeysuckles in the garden when I was a child visiting my mother’s family in Damavand County along the mountain of Damavand in Iran.
My mother’s family has had a Honey industry for more than 8 decades, and I precisely remember a very fragrant but thin honey which was made only from orange blossoms. This is the same smell along with a very fatty cream. It’s divine and delicious.
Classique Essence de Parfum smells similar to Classique EDT except for the accord of cream. The EDT is spicier and sharper, and more floral while this one is creamy and intense and gourmand. I prefer the opening and first hours of the Essence de Parfum but the sillage goes down form moderate to soft in 2 hours_ I only applied 2 sample sprays_ and the dry down is very airy and light in comparison to the EDT that it’s heavy dry down is stuck in my mind.
This version is also much more natural to my nose in comparison to the EDT and that might be because of the aldehyde and cream accord. I sprayed the Classique EDT on my scarf in an airport, and I loved the smell and it got stuck in my mind (and to my scarf for 3 days!), but it didn’t remind me of the wonderful memories I have shared here. I’m really intrigued to test all the versions because this fragrance is simply wonderfully feminine and pleasing and happy. I need to know them all! I hope I can get my hands on them.

Incredible! I am in love! On me it smells exactly like Alien absolu, just slightly less smoky. Awesome silage and longevity. The first perfume I love from this brand. If you love Alien and flankers, definitely try this one.
Update: After two on my jacket, now it smells like Olympea. The cream is even more prominent. I love this fragrance, it’s my greatest new discovery for 2017.

This is a sweet beast, of orange blossom and tangerine, on a creamy platform, with a resinous hint (from benzoin), a tiny “chili” touch, and a hint of powder.
The initial opening is soapy, but that’s very short, after which it’s a nicely orangish vanilla bomb.
During the first hour, if smelled from a distance it has a nice fruity or a “bit” bubble-gummy vibe that triggers compliments, but if smelled directly from the skin: a terrible chemical/sweaty vibe is found (probably from the cachalox, which is represented in the notes pyramid above as aldehyde)–but this harsh chemical vibe (which depends on skin chemistry) fades gradually by time, and almost disappears after the first hour of application.
Passing the first hour, it settles properly on the skin, and is really enjoyable. It swings between girly and womanly–but I see it more inclined to the girly sweet side. On a paper strip, its magical and addictive, but on the skin, some dimensions may change depending on the skin reaction.
The bottle is a piece of art!

    Whoa. What a perfume.
Lasting power is HUGE/24+ hours, sillage amazing!
Bottle is actually a little top-heavy… the style of the bottle and body makes it tip over easy. 🙁
I have so much to say about this perfume! LOL!
I have Intense too, and although they are similar, I don’t think they are exactly. This Essence is waaaay deeper, layered, and complex. Intense to me is very linear/sweet with just subtle changes- mostly the frag dying down. It goes from uber sweet orange/flower/syrup candy to a
