Description

It’s time for this year’s CK One Summer. In January 2014, the house of Calvin Klein follows its tradition of annual CK One limited editions and announces CK One Summer for 2014. The fragrance is embellished by adjectives of youthful spirit, playfulness and undisputed coolness. Imagine after – beach party…. hot sand, sea, good music and cocktails – all served as inspiration for the new release.

Refreshing and icy notes of grapefruit and lime in the top are combined with juicy melon. Fun and lively cocktail of tequila, white freesia and cypress forms the heart of the perfume. The base hosts sweet notes of coconut water, crushed sugar and cedar.

This year’s package is colored in turquoise and yellow – green shades. The fragrance is available from March of 2014 as 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

Here in Malaysia, we have neither summer nor winter, and so when it comes to Summer fragrances, it suits the year-long sunny weather that we have here. Well of course we experience rainy days too!
CK One Summer release of 2014 is one of my favorites among few other its summer flankers. To those who enjoy a clean, refreshing, bitter citrus accord, which more or less quite astringent to my nose, CK One Summer 2014 will be it. In short, this may be appealing to those who enjoy zesty-citrus, soapy-smelling fragrances.
I would say there’s a pineapple note in the whole mix, but it is neither sweet nor smoky but rather sharp, raw and unripe which add to the zing of its citrus accord. The melon note, I’d say is somewhat faint, simply overpowered by the tangy citrus notes.
All and all, I happen to like this a lot. At times, when you want just a simple, nice and clean smelling fragrance, this is one of options that you may want to consider.

Bought this as a blind buy, its pretty much straight up bar of soap on me. I guess its not bad but its definitely one of those clean out of the shower perfume thats not gonna last more than an hour.

Just got this as a blind buy and am pleasantly surprised by it. Light beachy type of smell. This is not a beast in projection or longevity either but still lasts several hours. It has elements of VIW and St. Barts but isn’t exactly like either.
It kinda reminds me more of VIW but with the coconut turned way down and placed in the background. Of course more synthetic than VIW. The tequila note is in there but not overpowering like St.Barts. Because those notes in both of those used to get to me in a day’s wearing. But with this both are not so prominent and makes it more wearable to me.
Plus this is really cheap to get your hands on. I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a cheap summer scent.

If you’re thinking of blind buying this because by looking at the notes it should smell like VIW (Virgin Island Water), don’t. Save yourself the money and the disappointment.
This smells nothing like VIW (or Set Sail St. Barts by the way).
Lime is there but it’s far from being the main player and the coconut is non-existant, also.
That said, this does smell ok but longevity is bad and sillage is weak. Lasts like 30~60 mins on me.

CK one summer 2014 basically consists of a nice mixture of coconut and lime which gives the imagery of being at the beach and drinking a nice cooling cocktail. It’s not unique by any means but its still a well done fragrance, you could do a lot worse than this. As usual with Calvin Klein fragrances, longevity and projection is pretty weak. Overall, a very nice summer scent for the price.

This perfume is not bad but the silage and longevity are not good

This is a little gem. CK One with some more summer-y aspects, exactly what it says. Say what you want, CK One is and should be a legend. Acqua Di Gio gets a lot of credit for being the first aquatic, but I doubt there would have ever been an Acqua Di Gio without a CK One……and I remember. I remember CK One when it was first becoming popular and honestly, somewhere along the way Acqua Di Gio came along and it was bottled similarly and was in the same genre, and probably people were thinking a bit it was a higher end version of the same thing, I don’t know, I digress. CK One was the original unisex friendly scent. So, its a great one on its own. Add in a little summer fun margarita cocunut lime opening and you have this summer scent. It’s really a great bang for your buck.
It’s light, so I’d spray a good few extra sprays. Then, I get 4-6 hours out of it, so it’s average as long as you double up on sprays. It really does smell good. There’s other summer fragrances I wear this against. Coconut Lime Verbena, St. Sail St. Barts and Virgin Island water, are probably the one’s that are most in this area code.
VIW is really expensive for something like this. Coconut lime Verbena is probably the best, but it can be a bit heavy for such a light type of fragrance. St. Sail St barts is a dream, but it smells too much like tequila. Everyone who isn’t a fragrance person is just going to think you spilled your drink.
This particular summer by CK One, achieves all that those “summer drink” type fragrances, except it pretty much blends into something very close to the original CK One. So, that’s a perfect summer weekend go to.
This should be called Summer Weekend Beach, lounging, party scent. If I were to compare all the “summer drink” fragrances, I’d have to give Coconut Lime Verbena and Guerlain Homme, and Dior Homme cologne, top marks, but this one gets a number one here too. And for the price, to sit in that group, you have to believe its a good one. It doesn’t have the longevity of the others, so that’s a slight knock against it, but that’s also a strength, because you can add a couple of sprays and that works really good in the extreme heat. The other summer’s can be a bit strong and almost feel less easy-going. This one doesn’t cost a lot, so you can just blast it however much you want and ……I have to say, this is one of those fragrances that will just put you in a good mood. It’s become my every day work out frag too. Real Gem for the money here guys.

A perfectly likeable scent, but this is literally gone from my skin in less than an hour.

I’m not a big fan of the citrus scents, but when the sun and summer heat are beating down upon you these lighter, fresher, summery scents are a welcome addition to the scent armory. To me, CK One Summer 2014 is a very pleasant, somewhat playful, fun and good quality citrus fragrance. Moreover, I can wear it casually or into the office on hot summer day.
Does this fragrance have a similar vibe to Virgin Island Water, Coney Island and St. Barts? Sure…it’s not identical, and one can argue about the quality aspects, but it’s definitely in the same area code and…well, it’s just a very nice little summer scent.
Performance is about average, which is surprisingly good for a citrus-freshie; it lasts about 5-hours on my skin and projects moderately on my skin. For the price, I would definitely recommend trying this one.

  10. :

This is a pleasant fruity concoction with lots of bright citrus, warm coconut, woody green cypress, and a decent dash of sugar. It’s sweet and tropical, but not cloyingly so. This is definitely unisex. I haven’t tried any of the other CK One summer flankers, so I can’t compare them, sorry.
Longevity and projection are weak, as one would expect from an inexpensive summer scent. Still, it’s cheap enough that you don’t need to worry if you choose to carry it around in your bag and reapply from time to time.
I am really fond of the greenish-yellow bottle, but I am less impressed with the sprayer, which is rubbish. Like the original CK One, it also comes with a splash cap.
Pleasant but nothing special. I’ll enjoy it during summer while I still have it, but I won’t be replacing my bottle when it runs out.

I’ve owned three of the CK One Summer Editions, so you could say I’m a fan of these lighthearted and fun offerings. Nice enough scent, but was my least favorite behind 2012 and 2013.
To my nose it was very close to Tommy Bahama St. Bart’s which isn’t a bad thing at all, but I already own it so this offered me nothing new. Plus the TB frag on me has better staying power, so I decided to send this one packing.

  12. :

    5 out of 5

This is a pleasant surprise. The opening is a bit loud before calming down to a wonderful tropical scent. It’s pretty much the perfect casual summer scent. Longevity could be better but it’s usually never more than 4 or 5 hours for these type of scents so I won’t complain. The booziness kicks this up a notch and at $25 for 100ml it’s pretty hard to resist!

  13. :

    3 out of 5

For a lousy $20, this smells pretty great. Reminds me of Azzaro Chrome combined with gummy fruit snacks I ate at lunch as a kid. However, longevity seems horrendous. Be prepared to spray a lot to make it last even a little bit.

I really like this scent! So fresh, vibrant, summery. The first notes, I do not know why, reminds me pineapple. As a cocktail with pineapple and coconut. It makes me think of sunny beaches, sea, sun and a cold drink in a hand. A perfect scent for a sunny day. It gives me positive energy and joy. Surely it is a unisex perfume but its sweet part makes it very suitable for women. The best flanker that Ck ever did. I love it and although it is a perfect scent for the summer, I find myself using it often when I want a charge of positive energy. Pineapple, coconut, sugar and tequila in a bottle! Amazing!

This is and has been my all time favourite scent for over a year now!! It is just gorgeous!! I have 2013, 2014 and 2015 and i like the other this one just hits the spot. I am a man but i admit it is slightly feminine but that’s what you get with a unisex scent. Also you can pick up bottles for £16 on ebay!! So grab yourself one!!
Sillage and longevity not great!! But not particuarly bad, its got good sillage for about an hour then sits very close to the skin for another 4 or 5 hours.
    Scent: 100000!!!
    Longevity: 6.5/10
Sillage: 8.5 for the first hour and 5/10 after that/

  16. :

I really love the smell.. i think the 2014 version by far is the best flanker of summer edition from Ck One.
i still cannt believe that such an amazing scent was produced by Ck, until of course the longevity tells me that it is Ck.. LOL
got to admit that the Longevity is quite poor, projection as well..
but with this amazing scent and pretty cheap price, it’s still a winner..
i learned that many people compared this to Bond No. 9 Coney Island.. but as i know that Coney Island has the really salty smells to it.. so i thought, how can it be the same since the Ck has no (or very minimum) saltiness to it..
but, that’s just my logic speaking, never smelled the Coney Island though..

First off….. I just tried this on yesterday and wore it again before going to sleep. My review might change soon. Also, I have not made an official count or done any serious survey but there seems to be MANY, A LOT, NUMEROUS aquatic/beach/summer flankers and limited edition releases out there.
You’re bound to come across a few that seem to smell alike or “cross paths”.
Anyone who has read my reviews knows I’m not a great nose. Some reviewers on fragrantica, “fraghead” websites and youtube reviewers can break down notes and nuances. I just tend to give my general idea on the overall aroma and projection/longevity.
This one seems synthetic and the notes are muddled. It’s nice but c’mon, does it really stand out? How many times can you do the whole “melon”, “aquatic” and “lime” notes? I’m happy with Tommy Bahama’s Set Sail which covers that and smells similar to an expensive Creed VIW.

  19. :

    5 out of 5

For as much as I’m hearing unisex being used to describe this perfume, this summer edition is absolutely masculine. It smells like something my brothers would wear.
It’s a soggy lime/orange soaked cedar plank that drifts on not very far away from the skin. And by that, I mean that the projection is very weak but it sits on the skin for a VERY long time.
It isn’t hideous and for a blind buy, I do not feel much regret considering I bought it at a discounted price but I have smelled better attempts at a summer scent. It is not something I will be keeping in my collection, I would rather pass it off to my male relatives.
    EDIT:
After a little use to the scent, I’d decided it’s a decent enough fragrance to keep around after all.

Starts with a sweet pineapple… I’m really surprised CK One Summer 2014 doesnt have this note.
Afther some seconds it becomes citrucy, fresh, clean… I smell lot of lime and love it. Just received this fragrance today… still can’t tell so much about. Probably i’ll come back here to write more about it.
I dont like so much this fruity pineapple start, but when the lime and citrus appear i LOVE!
So far I am happy I bought it. I imagine myself on a tropical beach, wearing a white bikini, bronzed skin (something almost impossible for me ahaha), happy, no problems, just enjoying my holiday! 🙂 Now I want the 2015 version, which I love since the 1st second. ehehe

This is just fresh and youthful, the lemon and the tequila are predominant noticeable, very spring break and summer juice, you know what? this is an every day fragrance with good mixes of citrus and alcohol content, yes enjoy it, that’s it!!!!!!!!!!

  23. :

    5 out of 5

I think this is a beautiful scent made by calvin klein probably the best ck one summer flankers even the sillage and longevity is slightly better than the original ck one, extremely fresh, sour and aromatic lime, but i wish the other notes like the coconut and melon/grapefruit were strengthened so it will smell more unique, theres coconut at the bottom of the fragrantica meter thing,i smell only so less, and after a month i sprayed it,its dissapeared,i couldve sworn i stored my colognes correctly.. still saving half coz 2014 passed and i know it will be hard to find this

  24. :

    4 out of 5

Lime, tequila, melon opening. BAM! Summer is here. It’s loud, refreshing and young.
    Smells like a frozen drink.
Then I get the cedar, taming the crazy top notes.
To me this is basically a youthful scent, fun, naïve and not sophisticated.
The intensity of the opening notes is remarkable, although very artificial too. It can be cloying if you over spray.

  25. :

I love all the CK One Summer fragrances. Although they are all similar the 2008 version is by far the best. Buy this one for casual daytime wear. You will love it!

  26. :

    5 out of 5

This is a good one for casual summer wear when chilling with friends by the pool or at the beach. It does smell like I’ve spilt my cocktail on me but I love it. Its fresh and chilled out. Longevity isn’t great but its okay for a summer scent and the silage is decent in the sun.

This is my new add (August 2014)
    very similiar to Coney Island.
Sharp citrus, fresh and sour.with a alcoholic vibe and a sweet hint.
    very funny and unusual.
it’s unisex but way more masculine.
good for an every day fragrance in warm days.
    longevity/ fixação: 8 hours 8/10
    Sillage/ projeção: good for 2 hours… 7/10
    buy/try/ pass: try

To add…..This is a potent and unusual and pleasant summer fragrance. Beautiful!

  31. :

    5 out of 5

It could have been a great, refreshing summer fragrance, but sharp lime ruins it all. Too intense and too sour for me. I think it is better for men than for women. There is no feminine spirit in it at all!

  32. :

    5 out of 5

Agree about the lime cocktail essence, although greener and more minty than previous versions for my nose, there’s something in the mix that doesn’t really work for me; no coconut feel for my nose either (love coconut); not bad, but i still prefer the 2012 version more.
    Nice deal as always.

  33. :

    5 out of 5

It smells very much like a lime cocktail. I’m not familiar with unisex, citrus scents and this thing is very new and fresh to me. I can smell coconut pretty much, and I think it adds sweet and sugary, caramel-like scent to this perfume. This, I don’t like it. But I think it’s pretty good as a whole.

  34. :

    3 out of 5

I just semi-blindbought this summer edition and I already regret it. I’d been in interested in trying this ever since I first spotted it here, the notes sound like my thing exactly. I also like the summery bottle and the ad. Just look at that beach! “Energetic. Cool. Playful.” indeed! I’ve been cooped up in a dark office this summer so I’m particularly sensitive to commercial influence of that kind right now. In my city it didn’t seem to be available anywhere, though; I only spotted an empty tester once with all the bottles sold out. This of course made me even more keen to try it; if it’s so popular it must really be great! (yes, flawed thinking there, I know).
So when I finally spotted a full tester yesterday, with bottles still available at a very reasonable price, I was already half persuaded to buy it. It smelled nice enough on paper, fresh, but since I already tried so many perfumes that day my nose was becoming untrustworthy and I didn’t have any room left on my skin to test…still, I decided to go for it. Beach 2014 here I come, at least in mind/smell!
Well, that didn’t turn out as expected. In fact, this seems to be the first citrus perfume that I don’t either really like or find pleasant enough, but actively dislike. I know there’s no gender in perfumes and some of my very favourites are unisex ones that lean toward the masculine side, but if there’s one smell I don’t like it’s that generic male cologne that makes so many men’s perfumes smell alike (in my humble and admittedly unknowledgeable opinion); and this smells exactly like my prejudiced idea of that. Weak, watery, masculine alcohol with a bit of citrus. Where’s that sugar, melon and coconut, that whole tropical vibe that was promised? Reacting to someone else’s skin chemistry, probably, as others in this reviews section do seem to smell it…
I’ll retry it a couple of times; maybe my skin will react better in a month than it did yesterday and today. Otherwise, this will be my first attempt to swap something on this site!
Edit: I retried it on a very hot day, and it was a lot better then. I smelled a lot less alcohol, and more citrus and sugar and maybe melon. Still not great, but I definitely liked it that time. Maybe I’ll keep this after all…

  35. :

This is the Best & the Worst. The Best scene from all the CK One Summer lines.. but the bottle is the worst!!! No attractive at all, not like the others…

  36. :

    5 out of 5

Citrus? really, it smells like a bad mixed drink with 80% alcohol and 20% orange.
Old orange in the trashcan mixed with sugar, CHEAP smell.
    a big nono from me!
the only + is the price, it is really cheap and you got a 100ml.
DONT blindbuy this, its really one of a kind

  37. :

    3 out of 5

First off, I’m a woman who likes a lot of unisex fragrances. My skin chemistry always brings out sweetness in scents. In summertime I want to wear something fresh and bright that won’t turn cloying on me in the heat.
The 2014 edition of CK One Summer hasn’t knocked my socks off, but for the price I paid at a discount store, it’ll be a go-to fragrance for hot and humid summer days.
It starts out on me with a tart lime note that overpowers everything else. Then I start to get some woodsy and watery notes. Final for on my skin is a dry woodsy watery lime fragrance. Definitely on the masculine side of unisex, but not so much that it makes me smell like I raided my husband’s aftershave.

  38. :

    3 out of 5

I must say I just LOVE this! I think it’s because they have managed to capture the true smell of melon without the solvent undertones. This stands out, it has excellent projection and staying power too. This line is always at the very least, refreshing and fun to wear. I’m stocking up whilst it’s around. Plus it’s on sale!

Saw this and ross and got excited. I bought it and sprayed it on my wrist. At the time i wasn’t too crazy about it. It starts off smelling like gummy bears and germ-x hand sanitizer. It was almost vomit inducing at first. But once it sat it got lighter and more tolerable. I don’t smell any coconut. At all. It smells basically like a fruity margarita with a bit of a synthetic rose air freshener and a bit of an open bag of gummy bears. Kind of like a more fruity version of St Barts by Tommy Bahama.

  40. :

    4 out of 5

I find it quite similiar to last year’s version, which I own, just alil bit more citrusy, a great scent but won’t purchase.

  41. :

Not bad but if you own the 2013 version, they are similar enough to not want to buy this one.
The opening is very sugary and and sweet, done well. As it developed it started to remind me of a homemade soap, which I didn’t like.

Lovely frangance for.this summer,if you.enjoy drinking fruit margaritas this is the right one for you in my opinion the tequila note makes it fun and young and anyway suitable.for.everyday.

  45. :

I sprayed it on in the store today, and I love it a lot! It opened very fresh, indeed very citrusy but I thought it was a powdery citrus, not overly sweet or sharp.
Since it’s a unisex fragrance, it smells (for me, a girl) more masculine than other perfumes I’ve tested but that doesn’t bother me. It’s fresh and sweet enough to be appealing to me.
I sprayed it on both a tester and my wrist, the tester received three sprays and I can still (3 hours later) smell it very well on there, but my wrist that only got one spray is very gentle now. But still there. It’s definitely on my wishlist for this summer now!

  46. :

    5 out of 5

I really enjoy this one, and I don’t care for the unisex CK’s much at all.
A friend of mine purchased the bottle and let me fill up one of my atomizers with it so I could try it for a few days.
This is a frozen margarita in a bottle. The opening is fantastic; fresh, citrusy, slightly sweet, with a hint of masculinity, but definitely on the feminine side. Then the middle stays fresh but the sweetness dissipates, leaving you smelling very clean and feeling uplifted. Lots of lime and tequila, but little melon or coconut.
Perfect for summer, in the dead of heat. I’m almost envisioning myself wearing this to work when I want to feel sarcastic and bossy. Hmmmm…maybe I should buy it.
Update (same day): Decision made. I just received a $10 off coupon from Perfumania, plus I found a 20% off + free shipping discount code. Ordered it for $24.00.

Lovely boozy citrus cologne. Great summer scent or freshener after gym. Not sure if I will replace bottle when finished but there will be many other options by then….summer 2018???

  48. :

Very nice fragrance. Those notes above can be picked up nicely especially the tequila, lime, grapefruit and coconut. In the dry down I can detect a touch of CK Be. Longevity and projection are OK too. It’s an unusual and great summer scent.

  49. :

    4 out of 5

This is one of the very few lime scents I can tolerate. And to be honest I more than just tolerate this one. I quite like it! It is infact very good. The perfect refreshing summer scent. I feel the melon really softens the edges and that is probably why I like this way better than Creed Virgin Island Water for example, which I feel is too harsh and lime-y. The lime, coconut, melon mix here is well balanced and makes for a really good fresh type of scent. I like the original CK one, but I like this better. Well done Calvin Klein!

Let me start by saying that I’m not a big fan of Calvin Klein fragrances. That being said, I tested this a few weeks ago and I really liked it… Fresh and light , perfect for summer. So I purchased it and received it today. I’m very pleased with it, I just wish it lasted a little longer. If you want a crowd pleasing summer scent, look no further.

Another CK One Flanker to add to the collection, been collecting the summer editions since 2010, want to get the whole summer line, but it dates back to 2004! The CK One summer flankers are really good, they always seem to try something different and have cool summer bottle designs each year!
This is the nicest one i have smelt so far, and most probably from them all. its fresh, citrusy, sweet, fruity, boozy, soapy and lightly musky. Not a stand out frag, of course, but very nice. it opens with a twist of lime and sweet melon very sweet and citrusy for 10-20 mins then the light creamy, boozy smell with a subtle coconut accord come up and mix with the top notes giving it that tequila vibe this lasts for about an 1-2 hours then the fresh, fruity, sweetness starts to fade into a light subtle sweet soapy scent for the dry down.
Not a game changer not an all natural, niche quality frag, But a solid spring/summer scent to wear casually in the summer, on holiday, in the heat,on the beach, relaxing in the sun or a warm night, and in an affordable price range its great! why it get so much hate i don’t know, maybe because its another flanker or slightly generic? but that doesn’t make a fragrance bad in my opinion, especially if its done well and the price is good, like this!
longevity is poor 3-5 hours, projects well for 1-2 hours. This is definitely unisex also it does not smell like VIW, they are in the same category but smell very different, if i had to compare i would say this smells like the Original CK One mixed with Demeters Sex on the beach a very sweet fruity summer vibe frag. But overall a good solid summer flanker 7/10.

I am amazed at how much dislikes this gets as it shares a fair similarity to Creed’s Virgin Island Water, which is loved by many and disliked by nearly nobody at all. Biased much?

This is definitely MY number ONE for the summer of 2014!
It smells so delicious that I’m seriously gonna order a back up bottle or two!
I’m ecstatic about it! Fresh, juicy Lime… Fresh, sweet Melon… Creamy, sweet Coconut and Tropical Tequila…
Mmmmmmmmmm… so summery!! What more could I wish for in a summer scent! This smells simply AMAZING!
The only downside is that I cannot smell it on myself after 4 hours. Still not bad though. For the price you can afford to re-apply as you wish 🙂

Ugh…I may be in the minority here, but I have to say that I thank God that I didn’t buy this blind. I tried it a few days ago thinking that the notes listed were going to be absolutely remarkable…sadly, they weren’t. The top notes are nice and bright and reminded me of some overly alcoholic drink I’d receive on a cruise. Then it dried down about a half an hour later to something that smelled of laundry detergent. It was horrific. I didn’t wait for it to progress (digress) any further and washed it off my arm. One of the biggest disappointments so far for 2014.

I just bought this one today from my store- Lord & Taylor. I really enjoy it and it’s pretty reasonably priced as well. Happy that I bought it as it smells like a summer scent should smell!

Just recieved this one and I’m a little disappointed. It is way more a masculine then a feminine scent. On my skin I can’t really smell the coconut or melon, those were the notes I based my purchasing on. When I sniff this right from the bottle it smells delicious buth it just doesn’t work out on my skin.

This smells nothing like Creeds Virgin Island Water. This is too masculine and the coconut is too subtle. Still a bit better than last years version where the watermelon just wasnt there!

Smelled this today and I think I have found my new favorite fragrance. The melon and coconut notes are wonderful together! Will definitely be buying!

Right from the bottle it smells delicious, citrus and coconut, fresh summer dream, on skin i get an aquatic summer men’s cologne, good but nothing special. i wouldn’t mind my bf wearing it, but me – no. was hoping to get an affordable version of viw, but no similarities – it’s just ck one ;).

Absolutely amazing smelling.. You smell like a Caribbean vacation every time you put it on. I’ve recently just started getting into fragrances and Calvin Klein is my favorite. I have too many of them to count but CK One Summer 2014 is out of this world. It is neutral enough to easily be men’s or women’s. Get a bottle before they are gone. This is one that is definitely not to be missed!!!

Update-I just received this and I have to say right up front that this is a very nice summer fragrance its just not for me.It is very citrusy and woodsy. The coconut is very mild and soft. The dominate notes on my skin are the lime, tequila and cedar notes. After its been on the skin awhile you are left with a watery sugar cedar note.It is definately a unisex scent but it leans more towards the masculine side in my opinion and I prefer my fragrances a little more girly.I would say its similar to virgin island water but less coconut and more citrusy and woodsy with the boozy tequila note. Its sharp, fresh and very limey just like a tart margarita but with a cedary sugar undertone. This is very beachy and would be a perfect summer scent for those that like citrusy, boozy and aromatic fragrances.Think hot summer night, beach bar and ocean breezes all rolled into one!Ladies if your like me and prefer more girly scents you might want to pass on this one. However,if you want a citrus woody scent for your summer collection give it a try. This will smell really nice on a man or women.Margaritaville in a bottle!

Just tried this one in my local Douglas Perfumeries. I like it. I don’t love but I like it. Between this one and the CK Summer 2013 I prefer the 2013 version.
This one stars of very fresh but I could only smell the Melon in the top notes. After 1 hour, I can smell the coconut which is beautifully done in this fragrance, very delicious indeed.
The bottle looks really nice, the combination of the colous works really well but it once again loses to the bottle of last year version.
The only thing that I didn’t like in the scent is that I think it is too feminine. I know its a unisex fragrance but I can only imagine a woman wearing this one. I had the same problem with Tom Ford’s Noir de Noir but I actually loved it one I wore it, so I am thinking of giving this one a try 🙂
    Scent: 7/10

    Season: Summer (obviosly)

    Longevity: 7.5/10
