Excellent vetiver fragrance if you can find it discounted. I got mine at 27$ /100ml.
Opens with some citruses then evolves into woody clean vetiver. Not high quality if you compare it to Tom ford grey vetiver but it is decent enough and has excellent longevity. I received many complements with it.
    Very safe and pleasant scent.

Still trying to figure out whats special about this scent . It does nothing . Neither special nor people pleaser, just plain citrusy sharp vetiver with some woods , very linear . Applying some Ruh khus oil ( essence of vetiver) is far better than Citiver

I like the scent. This is my first wearing so not sure about longevity yet. Nice and fresh with a hint of sweetness. Grey Vetiver for a younger person.

It’s not bad at all but a little overpriced.
    Smell : 6.5/10
    Longevity : 5/10 about 2-3 hours (moderate)
Sillage : 5/10 For about 1 hour has moderate sillage after that becomes a skin scent.
    versatility : 7/10 It’s more casual.However it’s ok also with suit!
    Overal : 6/10
IMO there are better options for this amount of money.I recommend you to test it before buying it.

Oh my! Dueto has succeeded in taking vetiver out of the office or business formal occasions and making it more fun (Encre Noir has it’s place too, and i’ll review it later). Citiver starts off well citrusy with a bit of the chili in mix. The presence of the elemi gives this scent a white peppery, varnish like herbal element, which is a nice change from something sweet or overtly herbal. After, this scent settles down… and then just goes a bit off the beaten path of most vetiver scents. By adding the balsam, labdanum and guaiac this scent gets a little punkier, a bit edgier in a youthful way. The patchouli and musk come on in at the finish and give this scent’s vetiver a rounded masculine woody earthiness. Citiver is like TF’s Grey Vetiver’s cousin who listens to Jacques Brel and The Strokes, and has an affinity for Kerouac. This vetiver scent has a shot before it’s first beer of the night. Basically, Citiver is really true to its’ name; a vetiver scent for someone who is frolicking around in the city. This scent needs to be worn under a trench coat as you thumb through stacks of used vinyl at your local record shop, on a slightly gray spring day.

Definitely a similarity to Tom Ford Grey Vetiver – but it’s so much more.
Citiver starts off soapy and green with a citrus bite and a large woody/spicy presence. It has nice depth and leaves a huge scent cloud for over an hour, then it dies down but hangs around for double digit hours.
I see Citiver working best in the spring (outdoors?) and it so far has been a total crowdpleaser – possibly the best from Dueto!

The combination of lemon and violet gives this fragrance a retro, barbershop opening. After about ten minutes, the softly spicy vetiver takes precedence. Constantly in the background, however, is a pleasant old-school barbershop freshness reminiscent of Colors de Benetton pour homme. Performance is good on my skin, good longevity and moderate projection for a few hours. Dueto is a middle-of-the-road niche house with good juices but this fragrance doesn’t seem unique or artistic enough to warrant ownership, IMHO.

Like this fragrance a lot, doesn’t get much coverage online generally but I saw a review for this on youtube and liked the sound of the note breakdown as I was looking for a new fresh green fragrance for my Spring rotation this year and got it as a blind buy direct from the website. I was not disappointed at all and very pleased I bought it. It reminded me of Tom Ford Grey Vetiver for basic comparison. I hav’nt had grey vetiver in my fragrance rotation since 2011 and no longer have it to do a side by side comparison now but in my memory it smelled very much like it. On my skin grey vetiver did not perform well at all and remained a skin scent from 30 minutes wear onwards but I always loved the smell of it and wished that it had moderate to great projection. Citiver however pulled this off for me and gave me the fragrance of how I recalled grey vetiver but with good projection on my skin. I got the fresh citrus that I was looking for but subdued by a fresh wearable vetiver note making it perfect for spring and I could imagine good for summer. I could also detect violet with the citrus and vetiver which for me was a winning combination. The violet component reminded me of that in Dsquared rocky mountain wood which again is one of my springtime favourites that I didn’t get to purchase this year. It got compliments and people asked me what I was wearing and liked it. All in all projection and longevity varies greatly from person to person depending on skin chemistry but this delivered for me and I will keep this as a springtime day fragrance and would recommend to give it a try.

To me this smells like a muted Grey Vetiver although it had a promising spicy start; I’m not talking about the newer edt of course, as that one’s sparkling and cooling

My first Dueto Parfums try, Citiver opens with a bright combination of citrus and vetiver, but for me, it quickly dries down (within minutes) into a vetiver-intensive fragrance that seems to lean too strongly on the tonka. I’m not certain, but something simply seems off in the dry down–perhaps something is missing, or perhaps (as I suspect) the tonka doesn’t mix well with the vetiver to my nose.
Citiver doesn’t especially lean toward summer usage as much as that seems to be the consensus. Surely it’s strong enough and intensive on the vetiver side (rather than citrus) in its dry down to the point to make it year-round friendly. It leans slightly to the masculine side, as the vetiver ends up being a little dirty, though I’m sure some women would opt for it as well.
I’ve no qualms about performance, though–good projection and better longevity. Still, this isn’t a fragrance that works for me at all. I’m relatively selective with the vetivers I opt for, in all fairness, but the dry down simply isn’t a blend that I want to keep smelling. Overall, a mediocre scent to my nose.

Dueto’s modus operandi seems to be to tweak existing bestsellers and I for one dont have a problem with it. If Golden Boy was Tuscan Leather for a younger crowd, then Citiver is Grey Vetiver with an urban twist, a Citrus vetiver for the urban grind without being too stuffy or formal. If Grey vetiver is suit and tie, Citiver is khakis and a white linen shirt. It’s a good clean light vetiver with citrus and woods and it’s not heavy on the Iso E Super like Grey Vetiver or Encre Noir Sport. This had become my favorite summer frag. I love GV and EN sport as well but this has a playfulness to it that puts a smile on my face. Good projection and excellent 7-8 hours longevity as well. And considering that for a niche fragrance, it’s very reasonably priced, this checks all my boxes. If vetiver frags interest you, Citiver is a goodie and totally worth checking out. Love it.8.5/10

this is by far the best dueto scent if you ask me
i have had the pleasure of trying 4 (including this) out of the 6 this house has released so far
and this has been the only one that hasn’t given me a headache or made me wanna scrub it off instantly
its opening is bright and airy with a nice combination of citrus and earthy accord followed by a hint of something that smells sweet to my nose
this scent is bound to please the masses and all the people who are into niche as it doesn’t smell cheap even tho most dueto scents smell synthetic they clearly did this one right
so if your on the hunt for a great fall scent dont over look this
    on to the next

Citiver is an interesting Vetiver scent dominated by Vetiver supported by citrus notes against a background of resinous notes and Cedar. Vetiver-Citrus part is fresh sharp and bright like most of the high quality contemporary creations of this genre. The resinous part is warm, nice and stays appropriately in the background throughout the life of the scent.
Overall it’s a well made scent with good quality ingredients.
    Good longevity and moderate projection.

One of the better vetiver Scents I have come across lately. Came in a sample pack when I bought golden boy. Golden boy and this are the only full Bottles I will have in my collection.
    Scent9/10
    Longevity 8/10
    Projection 7/10
    Overall 8.5/10

a vetiver scent through and through. I see people here give it great longevity and projection, not the case with me, lasted about 4 hours. good amount of citrus in the opening. also some cedar, so very woody. i did like the hint of violet as well, seems to be a note I’m starting to really like a lot. maybe another test or so, could see it possibly become decant worthy.

What this is to me is a more masculine Eau des Merveilles. The woodiness is there, the citrus is there, and the elemi resin completes the overall feel. What I like about this one over Eau des Merveilles is that the resin doesn’t completely take over the fragrance on my skin, but instead accents the powdery/woody notes and warms the overall scent. Perfectly unisex, this would not smell out of place on any man or woman of any age.

I love this fragrance. One of my favorites, definitely a spring summer fragrance. A very clean vetiver along the same line of original vetiver, they don’t smell alike but I get the same clean vetiver feel from them both.

It is very difficult to make a perfume that will wow perfume enthusiasts, and please the mainstream public. Many of the perfumes that garner accolades from perfumistas, are too complex or abstract for the general consumer and often don’t sell nearly as well as “designer” products. The perfumes that truly crossover, often become superstars. I think many would list Creed in the designer realm, but they definitely cost the same as a niche. Aventus, Royal Oud, Millesime Imperial…these are a few that impressed many perfume lovers (not all) and managed to crossover to general appeal.
Dueto appears to be going for this style of perfume..interesting enough for perfume enthusiasts and pleasant smelling enough to not alienate the general consumer. Citiver fits perfectly into this niche. I found it interesting and pleasing. The vetiver is dry and spicy, but delicately balanced with sweeter citrus and other notes. To my nose, this is unique. It is a wonderful vetiver and could easily be my goto vetiver. It seems to fall into the masculine realm, but I could easily see some women wearing this. A very wearable and interesting fragrance. Mission accomplished!

After wearing it on my hand for two days I finally got a full wearing of this on Father’s day… Nice scent with a nice sharp opening but something odd happens with it… After a short stint it appears to dry down and I could only notice it when I would bury my nose in my wrist… At that point it is a faint masculine generic clean vetiver scent to my nose (when I look for it) AND to my surprise I got two unsolicited older female compliments from it… So it appears to kind of almost vanish to my nose yet others seem to still be able to pick it up and to them it’s nice enough for the random compliment… (I’ve been told Creed’s Aventus has this same affect on some people [they smell NOTHING alike] but thankfully I never lose the scent on that one…)
Conclusion… All in all I thought it was a very nice scent what when worn on the neck seems to vanish because of olfactory fatigue after about 30 minutes… Sharp in the beginning… Pleasant when you search for the dry down… Seems to please others but since I can’t smell it after an hour without searching for it… I won’t be dropping the coin on this one… 6/10

Also received samples from the kind people at Dueto.
Citiver opens with a lot of lemon and a very green vetiver. It progressively gets sweeter, less citric and more powdery. I definitely get a lot of violet from Citiver and a good dose of sweet resin.
If I were to compare it to another Vetiver, it’s more Grey Vetiver than Encre Noir.

I received samples of this fragrance yesterday (thank you, Dueto!!) and reviewed it but my review seems to have disappeared!
I wore my sample of Citiver for around 12 hours. It has great staying power on my skin. Has more of an aftershave than unisex smell but too aftershave like for the hubby who loves citrus fragrances but with a lighter woody content in the base. Citiver is indeed frsh, aromatic and very beautiful (imho) but I wasn’t blown away like I was by Lady Cool and won’t be buying the FB.
